Masseria Le Carrube

We loved our stay at Masseria Le Carrube. Our suite (number 16) was perfect for our family (2 adults, 2 young kids). Housekeeping was amazing. Wonderful staff. Federica at the reception was particularly helpful with recommendations of places and restaurants to visit. Couldn't think of one thing to complain about! Thank you!

We had a brilliant stay here. The breakfast is spectacular with so many choices. The dinner options are delicious too - room service, pizza night and their incredible vegetarian tasting menu.|All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful to my husband, myself and our 8 month old baby. The hotel is stunning with gorgeous pool, incredible fruit and olive trees. They recommended us some beach clubs to visit.|Would definitely visit the hotel as a couple or with a baby (baby cot was happily put into our room).|Thank you for a wonderful stay - we hope to visit again.|Clare, Ryan and Kasra

Amazing room|Great swimming pools - not big but very relaxing.|Helpful friendly people.||One night dinner was a vegetarian tasting menu. OK but rather dull|A good pizza cooked in a proper wood fired pizza oven was delish|Best breakfast.||But please, either drop the taped music in the dining area; or if you can’t do that get a longer loop.

Hands down the most wonderful experience we had in Puglia during our vacation! They have a fantastic restaurant, fully vegetarian and serving the most exquisite seasonal foods. Everyday the menu changes based on what was harvested from the garden!! The chef also made arrangements for any vegans and came out to speak to us. The service was truly outstanding, everyone was so kind and made special arrangements by baking us a delicious cake to celebrate my sister and her fiancé’s engagement. This gesture came from their hearts and we really appreciated it! We shared the most beautiful moments with the family at this masseria and in fact returned again a second time to dine at their restaurant. Highly recommend their restaurant and hotel!! Their attention to detail at this masseria cannot be missed. It’s gorgeous.

I definetly think this property doesn’t get the attention it deserves. We stayed in a family suite in Le Carrube and had a second room for my parents - both rooms were great but room 16 ( suite) was fabulous. huge by italy standards and perfect for a family of 4 with plenty of private space for kids. Immaculate and clean. Aside from the picture perfect location the staff couldn’t Be nicer , more interactive or efficient. they made it impossible to have complaints. On one night when we were too tired after a boat trip they set up our courtyard like a beautiful restaurant for room service . we also got to experience a euro cup game / pizza party in the olive groves that was a highlight for my soccer loving son. I felt as if I was at a private villa- the staff : anna, Pietro, Matteo and many others went above and beyond. I would only wish there were some more activities or food options on site. with being so far from other towns: properties they need to offer more on premises. when I inquired about things they said they offered ( olive oil, wine tasting) they deferred me to a 3rd party who 1) took weeks to respond and I already had plans and 2) wanted me to go elsewhere and it was quite costly, Also, you can use borgo egnazia beach clubs ( also fabulous) but I realized after any one could and would pay the same amount. they should offer a discount or at least complimentary transportation ( a courtesy car or town shuttle would be fabulous here ) . regardless I would recommend this property in a second to anyone!

Taking the road through the olive trees to the gates of the Masseria was an experience to enjoy, however walking into the courtyard and then onto our room was delightful. This place is lovely, it has quality staff and all the attention to detail to make your stay memorable. We had the vegetarian taster menu (both nights with different menus) and it was superb, you should not miss it. The dining room is airy with high ceilings and a nice atmosphere. The walk in open fire place was a wonderful area to enjoy a digestive. Plenty of free parking on site, plenty of outside seating areas and an impressive pool area. Book it and enjoy.

The masseria is located in a peaceful location some distance from the main road. The setting is beautiful and the buildings are incredibly attractive.|Our room (22) was spacious enough without being particularly large, and had a private courtyard with table, chairs and an umbrella.|The reception, dining room, external dining courtyard and seating courtyard are beautifully appointed as are the swimming pools and related facilities.|We ate in the restaurant on the four nights we stayed at the Masseria. Dinner is a five course vegetarian tasting menu. All the dishes were beautifully presented and tasty. |There is a wide choice of food provided at breakfast, again of uniformly high quality.|The staff are attentive and efficient without being intrusive and also very nice people to speak with. The staff’s English language skills are generally very proficient.

This Masseria was one of our favorite stays in our 10 days in Puglia! The setting is beautiful and serene. The rooms are spotless and charming, with plenty of space to store luggage and relax. We enjoyed the pool area, and the chance to order a drink or appetizers. The breakfast was amazing, with so many fresh and delicious options!|The staff members were all very friendly, especially the woman who works at Reception and assisted with the cooking class. We were lucky enough to join their first Pasta Making Class in the olive grove on the second night of our stay. The head chef did a fantastic job, and the setting was just gorgeous!|The Masseria is about 10-15 minutes from Ostuni, and one night we made a trip there for dinner. It is central to many spots in Puglia and would make a great base. I will recommend Masseria Le Carrube to anyone I know planning a trip to Puglia.|Also: the hotel is a great value. We paid a little over $200/night in June for a double room, and I think this place would cost almost double in other parts of Italy.
