Masseria Le Carrube

Everything about this experience was amazing. This is the best and most beautiful Masseria in Puglia - it’s chic, modern, 5 star service & beautiful surrounds. I will never get over how gorgeous this place is. We loved our stay including the pool, lush grounds, beautiful breakfast buffet and vegetarian Puglian tasting menu we did for dinner. Please dine in their restaurant it’s amazing - loved this huge balcony we got. Ask for room 31. The insanely big balcony gave us beautiful sunset views of the pool and olive trees.

My spouse and I recently stayed at your resort and dined at the on-site restaurant as part of our honeymoon trip. We would like to begin by expressing our sincere appreciation for the warm hospitality we received during our stay. Your staff were exceptionally kind, and the thoughtful attention given to us as honeymoon guests truly enhanced our experience. However, I would like to bring to your attention an incident at the restaurant that left us feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. One of the female staff members — wearing thick-rimmed glasses and with her hair in a ponytail — treated us noticeably differently compared to other guests. While she offered after-meal drinks and served them personally to others, when we asked whether coffee or dessert drinks were available, we were told that none were offered. To make matters worse, when we received our bill we were charged €14 for a glass of wine we had ordered at €7. Although I do not necessarily believe this was an act of discrimination, the experience was nonetheless upsetting and left a negative impression on our otherwise enjoyable stay. We truly appreciated the resort overall and would consider staying again in the future. However, despite the quality of the food, this experience makes us hesitant to dine at the restaurant again. As this was our first visit to Puglia — though we have traveled to Italy many times — we were especially disheartened by the treatment we received from this particular staff member. I am writing to you not only to share our experience but also to kindly request an apology for how we were treated. We hope this feedback can help improve future guests’ experiences as well.

This was a great location for us to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary. Beautiful, peaceful hotel with really excellent staff. For us, the vegetarian restaurant was the only drawback. We still enjoy wholesome Italian food, & therefore on some nights we drove off to restaurants on the nearby coast or nearby villages.|Breakfast was outstanding & the pizza restaurant also ticked our boxes. |We would like to mention the excellent Lucia & Asia from the staff, but the overall level of attention to detail was outstanding. Clean bedsheets every day, with clean towels TWICE a day. |On many occasions, we were the only people around the pool - perfect!!|Would highly recommend this hotel, but a car is essential & evening meals are for a certain taste. |Would we return? Without a doubt.

Cute little hotel but very let down by its food offering. The restaurant is vegetarian only with one option per course which changes daily. We ate in the restaurant once and we had goats cheese risotto which didn't really taste of anything followed by a chick pea dish that I wasn't a fan of either. There is also an outdoor pizzeria with great pizzas, but isn't open every night. On our last night it rained so the pizzeria was shut. We didn't want to risk the vegetarian restaurant again and our children would not have eaten anything on that menu anyway. It was frustrating because it meant we had to drive into town to get something to eat. A shame because this place isn't cheap.||If the restaurant had a normal menu this place would be much more appealing. Also the pool is very small and not really suitable for children. Within 5 minutes of arriving at the pool in our first day one of the staff members told us that our children aren't allowed to jump in the pool because it's dangerous, which was surprising. ||Taxis in the area are very expensive and we paid €100 for an 18 minute round trip. That means you mostly need to drive to places. Parking in the local town Ostuni was a bit of a nightmare too and it took us 30 minutes to find somewhere to park on a Tuesday night. Ostuni is an attractive town but would recommend booking for dinner as we had to try half a dozen restaurants before we found one with space for 4 of us.

We loved our stay at Masseria Le Carrube. The staff were so attentive and kind. They were accommodating to my allergies and the service was always impeccable. Gorgeous rooms and pool area. Loved the vegetarian tasting menu, as well as the pool lunch menu and pizzeria. An Italian Dream!

Superb traditional Masseria updated with modern touches. Lovely arched ceiling in our room, large terrace over looking the pools & olive groves. Great staff - all very friendly & helpful.||Worth trying the vegetarian tasting menu - even for a non veggie!||Handy for Ostuni. Very relaxing location.

We loved our stay at Masseria Le Carrube. Our suite (number 16) was perfect for our family (2 adults, 2 young kids). Housekeeping was amazing. Wonderful staff. Federica at the reception was particularly helpful with recommendations of places and restaurants to visit. Couldn't think of one thing to complain about! Thank you!

My mother and I stayed here for part of our vacation. Nothing was less then excellent. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The food at the restaurant is delicious and the breakfast options are wonderful as well. I can't wait to return someday.
