The Best Restaurants At Westfield Century City, Ranked - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"With all due respect to Panda Express and Chipotle, the top-floor food court has gone downhill faster than a runaway stroller on the escalator. One bright spot is Massis Kabob. The Glendale original is our go-to spot for juicy beef koobideh platters, chicken barg skewers, and mountains of buttery jasmine rice. This place can be a little hit-or-miss depending on how awake the worker at the grill is, but when it’s good, it’s really good." - brant cox, sylvio martins, cathy park

Well, as a Turkish born, Australian based person spoiled for choice in my country, I was dubious of trying Massis Kabob... But... I was actually pleasantly surprised by the depth of flavour for a chain store. The fact that they had Ayran, blew my mind lol. As a first time visitor in LA, I think I might be back next time :)

Google
I LOVE this place! The kabobs, rice, roasted vegetables, and hummus are a killer combo and deal! The hummus is so creamy, the flavorful kabobs are great, the rice is buttery, and the roasted tomato and pepper add another level of smokiness. I would highly recommend and return!

Google
Convenient Persian food that doesn’t disappoint! The prices are lower than most restaurants in Westwood, which makes up for any parking fees. If you pair dinner with a movie, you can validate your parking for up to 3 hours at AMC. The eggplant wasn’t my favorite, but the salad shirazi came with the meal and was excellent.

Google
Hands down the best kabob I’ve ever had. The meat was perfectly marinated and cooked to juicy, flavorful perfection. Every bite had that smoky, char-grilled magic you hope for but rarely get. The sides were fresh and vibrant, especially the rice and grilled veggies. Super friendly staff and quick service sealed the deal. If you’re craving legit kabobs, this place delivers!!

Google
I love this place. Was there 3 times in 5 days. The food is sooooo tasty, the stuff friendly and the portions are huge.

Google
We visited this restaurant serving Persian food at a food court in Century city and were not disappointed. Both the chicken and beef kebabs were delicious, served with fragrant rice, flat bread and salad. The service was prompt and the quantities substantial.

Google
Highly recommended! Always great quality and taste! My favorite dish is Persian Koubideh Beef with red cabbage.

ItsElectro Boy (ElectroBoy)

Google

Yelp
We got the beef kabob plate and fries. Pros - everything was decent, nothing special. - pretty big portion - came with a nice cucumber/tomato side cup. - steak fries were decent - no tip asked for when paying Cons - none Overall 7.5/10

Yelp
I kid you not this dish could feed a family of three or four. The tabouli was incredible. The peppers are fresh and hot. The pita was not too thick and definitely not overcooked. I didn't have an experience of the ambience, considering I'm a big to- go eater. My food was made super quickly when the app alerted me, and luckily was delivered fast. I love Mediterranean food and the food was A1.

Yelp
This restaurant is located in the food court of the Westfield Mall at Century Center in Cali. It is a walk-up counter type and the food was prepared in a decent amount of time. The food court is big and has many tables for dining. The noise level is perfect and not too loud either. It my first time trying the food. Many were in line for food when they just opened, so i was intrigued. The food also looked good, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered their Chelo Beef & Chicken Kabob Combo ($21.95). My plate included rice, grilled jalapeños and tomatoes, which I opted out of, nan bread, and a cup of cucumber tomato salad. I was not disappointed at all. I took several bites into my food and understood why many patrons were in line to order. The chicken and beef were cooked well and full of flavor. Everything was absolutely delicious and complimented each other. They also had a few sauces and spices, which I forgot the names of at the counter, which went well with the meat. I had observed several patrons putting a spice all over their rice and meat, so I asked the employee what it was, and she said that it had a sour flavor. It was pretty good and I liked it. I wasn't sure what it was, but it did have a bit of a sourness to it and went well with the chicken and beef. Would I return? I most definitely would. The food was really great!

Yelp
Been coming here for years, and it's one of the better kabob places around. I've been to most of the places on Westwood Blvd. And this place holds it own against those places at half the cost. So check this place out for lunch if you're ever at the Century City mall. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Genuinely surprised at the quality of this food court spot in the Century City mall! HUGE portions for great price. I think this chicken kebab plate with rice and a cucumber/tomato salad was only $12! Wild!! I recommend getting it to-go even if you're eating there because you might want to save half for another meal. The chicken was also super flavorful with a nice char. I enjoyed the roasted veggies too. Only thing missing was some hummus for the pita bread! Fantastic meal!
google avatar

Yelp
The gyro wrap came out hot and the meat was delicious. Liked the mayo and tomatoes default add ons. Size was big enough for 2 of us to share and leave the table pretty full. Didn't care for the tzatziki sauce and the hummus not on iota. For a fast food court joint in the Westfield Century City, I think it's a very decent option. Service was fast and efficient despite a swarm of mall crawlers (Sat, 4pm) and the price was $10. July, 2024.

Yelp
Located inside the Westfield Century City Food Court towards the back, near the public restroom. We tried the Salmon Kabob and Tilapia plates, both decently good. Service was quick and staff was friendly. Great option if you're in the mall and don't want to spend a lot on lunch.
google avatar

Ana S.

Yelp
My husband and I wanted to eat something somewhat healthy for dinner. This was one of the few fresh pylons the food court had to offer. We didn't regret our decision. We both ordered combo #22, which was basically all beef. It came with a fresh side of cucumber and tomato salad along with sheets of lavash bread, jalapeño (spicy af), tomato and rice. The food was fresh and delicious. Our cashier was friendly and let us know we would get a text to let us know our order was ready. The food court in the shopping center has a lot of seating options both indoor and outdoor. We went outside for some fresh air. Would definitely consider coming back next time we're in the area.

Yelp
Located at the food court at the century city mall, fast service food with the feel of traditional restaurant quality but with the busy atmosphere of a fast paste busting dining vibe. Get all your traditional options to eat there or to go. cohesive plates with rice, meat, salad, grilled tomato and pita bread. Only thing is that they don't give you the tahini sauce or hummus to complement the meal. it's an extra charge but should be completely sauce in my opinion. overall we enjoyed the food.
google avatar

Nicole V.

Yelp
This is my favorite place to order Mediterranean food from. It's always consistent and they always include the sumac and hot sauce without having to add to the delivery notes.
google avatar

Hilary L.

Yelp
the food was so good, clean delicious and tasty food. service was good. friendly and helpful and the ambiance in a good court was. casual and relaxed
google avatar

Linda Y.

Yelp
The flavor, portion, and freshness is so mid here. I'm not sure if it's because it's a mall restaurant but it's really not worth getting a bite here when there's a lot more places to eat at the mall. If you can tell from the photos all they gave me was rice! The cucumber side dish wasn't fresh and flavorful. Everything was a big meh for me.
google avatar

Edward L.

Yelp
Excellent service, the staff here are amazing. Very nice and friendly, service is fast and the food tastes great! What more can you ask for. The store is located inside Westfield Century City mall and it can get pretty crowded on the weekends and holidays.
google avatar

Yelp
Was craving mediterranean food so decided to try this place out, I ordered their Persian chicken dish which came out to around $14. I thought it was pretty affordable for the amount of food they give but honestly it's just chicken and rice. The rice was bland and the chicken wasn't too bad but was very spongy. Overall a decent quick meal.

Antonio M.

Yelp
muy bueno el servicio y la comida se los recomiendo Es uno de los restorante más eficientes que hay en el centro comercial
google avatar

Chloe K.

Yelp
portions were HUGEE and service is decently fast, food court is busy. u get like three meals out of this always seating in the food court, it's so nice to get a good deal in la esp when ur shopping, share w 2-4 friends !
google avatar

Linda J P.

Yelp
The food is always good, and the portions are sufficient. Today's chicken and steak plate included steak that was a bit though and the cucumber salad was old. We went a little after opening time and the sides of cucumber salad were old and soggy (did not find out until we got home). Service: the girl wearing a mask was not rude today, one guy is cool. Ambiance: dead

Kimberly R.

Yelp
Very yummy food, they give out nice portions of rice and always taste so good. I love eating here!

Yelp
I don't recommend Massis kabob because after too many years I tried this place today and the food was awful, specially their barg beef kabob was really hard to chew. I wouldn't go back there again. Two thumbs down.

Bob C.

Yelp
I have no idea how anyone can complain about this. It's prices are lower than anywhere else and damn these places serve a load of carbs. It's meat on a pile of rice and then more carbs with breads. This plate can fill up 2 people if anything. It is a lot of food. It just doesn't have lots of flavor since it doesn't come with hummus like it may in other types of restaurants but wow this place is not for keto eaters. Unless you substitute the rice for salad
google avatar

Andie B.

Yelp
Ordered their Lamb Chops Plate. Price was around $17, the same as Zankou's one-skewer Koobideh (Lule Kabob). Massis' lamb chops did NOT taste like lamb, like most other restaurants and eateries. (2 Stars) Only Musso-&-Frank Grill serves lamb chops that taste like lamb chops. Massis's Lamb-Chops Plate came with a good serving of Tabouleh. It also came with a lot of carbohydrates in the form of Pita Bread and Rice. I used the leftover rice to pair with some dumplings that I ordered the following day. I won't order this again.

Lisa L.

Yelp
excellent food and friendly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a good meal. th taste is good and not fast food. Healthy food.

Christina B.

Yelp
The customer service is poor. The staff serves other customers who they are familiar with before customers who are already in line which is rude and unfair. When asked why they served the customer who walked up behind me they defended that decision claiming that they know him from serving him regularly. The male who said this did not apologize even though he inconvenienced me, making me wait longer for my food. A female employee who was working from the back fixing the food did this and the male in charge defended her.

Yelp
I ordered take-out lunch here a week or so ago. We've had this food a lot. IMO, the quality of the food is much better than the typical mall "food court" food. I usually order #22 (Soultani Combo) which comes with one steak kabob and one ground beef kabob (Koubideh). 5/5. The food is delicious. It comes with a side of pita (nothing to write home about), a lot of rice, a grilled tomato and jalepeno as well as a side of cucumber/tomato salad. Overall, the portion size is very big. Be warned: The wait can be a bit long (~up to 10-15 minutes) vs. other food court places as they cook to order.

Kye S.

Yelp
Food is decent costumer service is horrible lady at front is rude. They also forgot my order it took 30 minutes to make it and 10 people behind me got their food before I got mine finally.

Yelp
rice taste is soo nice, and staff is very smily.tea is tasty.Today was my birthday and I'm glad I chose to eat here.

Yelp
Went here 02/21/2024, on Wednesday. First of all, we only ordered 2 plates, they charged us double, couldnt provide a receipt. Wasnt that busy, but food took a while. And when I asked for a refund they said their computers weren't working, so they were unable to provide a refund and a receipt. We spoke to the manager, she was nice and said to call the next day for a refund. I called and they said they already issued it. And to expect the refund after a week. And it never came. Total scam, our cashier didnt even know what to do. And what to tell us. Never coming back here.

Marivic G.

Yelp
Great tasting kebob, nice-looking packaging and relatively quick service for meat that's grilled when you order. Clean working station.

Sher 1.

Yelp
Friendly staff, tasty fresh foods. Daily visiting. highly recomended to all who loves medeterrenian foods

Yelp
This spot is located at the century city mall food court. I asked the cashier and she said few sides and the falafel plate were vegan friendly options. She did not know what the fries were made of so I didn't order that. The five falafels that it came with were overly salted. The pita was hard. I felt myself drinking water after each bite. The salad that it came with tasted gross. I'm not going to order here again. It was a food court so the ambiance was noisy.

Maria M.

Yelp
Joshua was very attentive and courteous. Excellent customer service. It's my first time here and I am impressed
google avatar

Emma G.

Yelp
This place gets points mostly for the affordability and for the falafel and hummus. It was also easy to order ahead which I always appreciate! Unfortunately the pita here is truly awful... paper thin and hard. My fries were also 100% unsalted? Which is fine if they would provide salt packets but they do not. I wish it would've been clear on the menu that they use zero salt on them because they were very flavorless. The falafel and hummus were good but nothing outstanding. I probably won't return but it is a large portion of food for $11, so there's that.
google avatar

Brian K.

Yelp
It's a rare thing, but I actually didn't even look at reviews for this place before trying. Good thing because I probably wouldn't have eaten here if I had actually read everything. I'm a sucker for a kabob place and the food looked pretty good so I decided to try it and it was actually more than decent. I had the combo with the ground beef and the chicken and both were really good. I like to have it with hot sauce and tzatziki and they give you a massive side to go with the plate. I actually may have chosen wrong with the hummus just because the side is so big that there's no way you eat that much hummus without an equivalent amount of pita bread. Overall good and as my pictures will show, at least my plate had a good amount of food and looked clean.
google avatar

Ari H.

Yelp
My fault for not paying attention to the price when I ordered the chicken/beef combo. It was $27, once I added the "fresh" lemonade which was some kind of artificial concoction with slices of lemon thrown in the carafe to make it look refreshing. When I got my order, I asked if it included hummus. Again, my bad for not checking first. I was informed that it would be about $3. I sat down and while my meat was luscious and tender, it wasn't flavorful, so I went back and splurged. Also, no taste to this hummus. Do I have COVID? The little cucumber salad on the side was not crisp but slightly soggy. Not too tasty. And, really, look at this photo and it's a huge container of bland rice and very little meat, a pepper, a weird tomato and a few triangles of bland pita? I feel like I ordered it from Postmates and all these service charges have been applied. And the no hummus included thing. Dang While I was making the slow, sad dissatisfied walk to my car, leftovers in hand, salt at home, I saw Panini Grill and the regret set in. They never disappoint. Why were they hiding in a little alcove rather than in the brazen majesty of the food court? Not again.
google avatar

Yelp
"Enough walking, it's time to sit and grub!" That's what my hanger pangs would be screaming if it had a (literal) voice! I saw a lot of restaurants during my walk through the mall, but I much preferred to grab something from their food court just because I like the idea of having choices all in one spot. This place caught my eye simply because they had a gyro wrap. So I went for that. Since it was a mid-afternoon Saturday, it wasn't busy. There was only one person ahead of me and another waiting for her order. It wasn't long before I put in for my grub. Food is made to order fresh. I actually saw them putting my goodies together before I got a text to pick it up. I found a table outside not too long after. First off: this gyro is probably bigger than what I'm used to. I did say I watched them put it together and I didn't see how much they put in there so I didn't m expect it to be filled with the protein but, nope: I stand corrected. They were incredibly generous with this wrap. Seasoning was perfect and the fresh veggies complimented it well. I like that they separated the sauces to add to each bite for my own liking and preference. Given it was a little massive, I didn't finish it. No biggie, I had enough for a 2nd meal/dinner! And the deep fried pita chips! Great sidekicks to an already wonderful wrap. Yum! FOOD: 5. Quality and quantity. SERVICE: 3. Average at best. There was very little interaction. VALUE: 4. It really was more than fair for what I got. PARKING: Located at the mall. First hour is free. Not sure if this place validates. OVERALL: 4. This sorta added to the experience of finally coming back to this mall after a long absence. Would recommend!

Yelp
I was here yesterday and was disappointed in the portions. I had asked for not much rice and they gave me too much and skimped on the Chicken portion. I spoke to an employee and they told me to "kick rocks." Will not be back to this location.
google avatar

Maruko X.

Yelp
The line could get long sometimes, service was fast and food was okay, ordered #16 Chelo Kabob Barg, their most tender beef filet served with Rice, Shirazi Salad, Pita Bread, Grilled Tomatoes and Peppers, generous portion and fine quality, less than $20 per meal.
google avatar

Stan C.

Yelp
At the food court with daughter and granddaughters - each wanting something different to eat. Food court is ideal since we each could go to a different eatery and sit together outside. I decided to try Massis Kabob for something new for me. I got the Chicken Breast with Greek Salad ($14). My wife got the Chicken Kabob with rice ($13). The chicken in my dish was dried out and tough (like it had been sitting around for a long time). The salad was fresh - a huge portion. Not a repeat. The chicken kabob was freshly made and moist. The rice was delish. This dish was a 5 star. So why the lower rating. The staff was overtly unpleasant. The woman at the register who took my order was clearly annoyed that I was unfamiliar with the menu and had to ask a question (no one was behind me on line so I wasn't holding anyone up). The guy handing out the food was unfriendly and seemed annoyed at having to hand the stuff out. Plus time from paying for the food to getting it was 14 minutes. Not exactly "fast food." Too many better choices in the food court. I won't be back.

Jasper C.

Yelp
Whoever owns this place should ashamed of themselves. Possibly the worst Persian food I've ever had. I get it it's in a mall but seriously in Century City and BH with such a huge Persian population! Unreal. My chicken koobideh was orange. Not even grilled. It's pre made and they warm it up. Zero char or grill marks. Unreal. Don't waste your money on this crap.

Dr. Paul A.

Yelp
The Latina girl at register is always "EXTREMELY RUDE". She Stands there ignoring customers right in front of her for well over a minute, WE have to wait for her to be in the mood to work so you can place a order. she's always giving attitude like "F" you People. She's chatting with other employees and is always angry at customers for placing a order. Iv been to this location about 6 or 7 times and every time I go, I end up regretting it. I'v seen her treat numerous customers the same way, totally disrespectful. I'm pretty sure the server name: is Negar R.

Jody J.

Yelp
The worst service and they don't provide sauce with orders. I ordered a kabob plate and it is super dry. I don't recommend eating here at all. Panini Kabob Grill is way better and cleaner.

Samer S.

Yelp
Poor food, and poor service. The chicken tasted like rubber, felt like rubber, and cut like rubber. I think it is rubber. No sauce comes with the food. If there was sauce, it would maybe cover the rubber part of the chicken.
google avatar

Alex K.

Yelp
For a food court place, the food was amazing. Century city has stepped up their game big time with dining. Stopped off here for lunch during the week. First off, it does get pretty busy in the food court area for seating. It's probably better coming with someone as one person find a seat and the other orders. Seating was a wait while people were dining. Social distancing and limited seating available. You order, give them your number and they will text you when your order is ready. Everyone is made fresh and cooked there which is good. It didn't take long for the order to be ready. The meal was great and each piece of meat was full of flavor. Combos was served with a good amount of rice, pita bread, grilled tomatoes and cucumbers salad. We ordered a side of hummus to go with the meal. Also they have alcohol as well. Food was excellent and full of flavor. Highly recommend this place for a quick meal or take out.

Yelp
I am a regular customer but this time I are a trout and got such immediately with diarrhea, pain and stomach distention.I called the Sherman Oaks and the lady who said was the manager, she took the message and nobody called me back.I called several times and left messages ,nobody called me back to be accountable.I had to report the fish poison to the state and they still didn't called me back.I will never eat there again.

Ian P.

Yelp
2stars for the food zero for the service. I was at the century city food court and customer service was counting my self serve refill drinks and took my drink after I paid for meal and drink $25. Never again will come back and not recommend to anyone.

Nikki S.

Yelp
The food is great and very well priced. Best fast food you can get in century city mall.
google avatar

Cissy H.

Yelp
Ordered here today and the menu photos look nothing like what you get. Not only was the wait long, but when we got the food there was only about 5 pieces of meat and a bunch of thin pitas that tasted dry. There were no good dip options either, so the whole meal was just dry. Would have expected a lot better based on the photos they used in their menu.

Mike M.

Yelp
Just Ordered Salmon Kabob which comes with Rice and Shirazi salad, well as I was eating and felt little uneasy but as I was finishing up I noticed a piece of Salmon looking weird so I just threw the rest of the food, I have attached pictures and I guess this is the last time I am going to order from Massis.
