Master Bao - Westfield Stratford City

Annie was a great server! Thank you for your hard work. I ordered the beef noodle soup. Soup just like beef stock and hot water. Beef more like roast beef texture than traditional beef stew texture. Maybe the bao will be a safer choice.

Early dinner before the theatre. 2nd floor food hall at Westfield shopping centre Stratford. Choice of several restaurants. A friend and I chose the Taiwanese street food place. I have never previously had Bao's. They were totally delicious. The vegetarian fried rice was a huge portion for one. It was a good thing I was with some hungry girlfriends who helped me polish it off. If you are not fussy about slumming it with strangers listening to your conversation, and ordering then collecting your food and sitting in a food hall setting, do try this place. Look out for their offers - 2 Baos, one side and juice for £15!

This was my first time trying the food and it did not disappoint. Annie provided outstanding customer service, she was polite, attentive, and helped. The food was delicious, and I will certainly be returning

This is located inside Westfield Food Court. Good Taiwanese bao and overall nice food. We enjoyed it. We ordered Chicken dumplings meal deal and Chicken Pao Pao meal deal. First time trying Taiwanese Bao and it’s nice.

Taiwanese cuisine outlet. Have veggie, chicken, prawn options for Bao. The bun was very soft and tasteful. Ordered Chicken and Prawn bao. Crunchy and soft. They have a meal deal. 2 Bao + 1 side and 1 drink (if upgraded). Tried veggie dumplings. Was yummy with dip. Drink was Taiwanese beer (non alcoholic). Bit wierdy taste. Can try at your own risk. The restaurant is located in westgate shopping area in food outlet area. Plenty of sitting options. And lot of other cuisine combo available if going in group. Definitely plenty of paid parking.

I got the crispy prawns and the noodle soup. The beef in the noodle soup was really tender but unfortunately the soup was tasteless EDIT: I decided to try this place again and give the bao a go as it seems to be their main items. Cold fried chicken in a stale bao, and when you pick up the food the staff give you a look like you’re intruding on their private time. Cold service, cold food. Putting this and Taiwanese in the same sentence is a shame

I recently tried the Chicken Dumplings at Master Bao in Westfield Stratford, and they were absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich and authentic, with the perfect balance of texture and taste. What made the experience even better was the outstanding service. John, the manager, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. His warm hospitality truly stood out and made our visit memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and excellent service!
