Master Noodle (mall of America)

These portions are generous and the food is good. If you’re craving a high class restaurant, look elsewhere. If you want tasty food, good selections, and served in a reasonable time, this is it. Everything I ate was good. There were some dishes that needed “more” to really be elevating, but that isn’t what this place is going for. Take a breather from the mall, sit and eat your ramen. It’ll refuel you in a satisfying way.

Tanghulu taste soooo good！Kids love it. Lanzhou noodle and Ramen are good！Tried same noodle shop in downtown，kids like it. So surprise found same noodle shop in mall. Will come back for Tanghulu again！

I usually try to be positive but there were many unfortunate things about this place. The floors are not that clean. The interior looks nice with decorations. The taste is below average. Doesn’t taste authentic. The staff is unfriendly and my parents had a good argument with them that visibly shocked others. If you order extra noodles, they wont add more soup to your bowl, half of your noodles wont have that much taste. Cost is high, definitely not worth it. Learn some manners and etiquette please. A positive? Cool statue outside

This is a decent chinese option in the mall. The dumplings were okay, nothing exceptional, but not bad either. Service was fast, and the dining area was clean. No complaints !

The dumplings were amazing and so was the Lanzhou beef noodle soup! Fast friendly service and loved the kiosk option for ordering. The honey jasmine tea was also yummy 😋

very nice atmosphere and aesthetic. I mentioned how pretty it was. but the food itself didn't feel like it had anything special about it. I liked some of the ingredients, the noodles were okay but the broth and noodles itself tasted.. not what I expected at all..? not bland but not great either. felt like it could be made at home. the price was good but not coming back to try more unfortunately. not sure if it's just an issue with the ramen, and I've tried other ramen at restaurants before. maybe the other food is good. I think I had the beef ramen. sorry to say I didn't have the best experience

I had the seafood soup here for lunch, and my experience was decent overall. For just $15, I was impressed by how generous they were with the shrimp and crab meat—it was a pretty full plate! That said, the flavor itself wasn’t anything special. Having traveled to several Asian countries, I know how this dish can taste, and this version didn’t quite hit the mark. The ingredients felt a bit bland and not spicy at all. It also seemed like everything was cooked separately and then combined, whereas cooking it all together would have created a richer, more cohesive flavor. Overall, it was okay—I’d rate it a 3.5/5.

Very meh experience. Young man working there was eating his lunch and looked at me like I was bothering him when I first walked up. But he perked up. Soup dumplings came out super hot but tasted very mass produced with thicker doughy bottoms then I am used to. Place was not clean as it took me two or three different spots to find a clean one.

Great dumplings! Dishes advertised as spicy were fine for me, as a MN girl. Garlic chicken was very flavorful.

I needed a quick takeout dinner at the mall and go back to my hotel room. I had the stirred fried noodle wirh beef. The order came out quickly and definitely fresh. The seasoning was great too but it was way too much sauce for me. The noodles were drenched and swimming in the sauce, which unfortunately is the common case for a Chinese place in US. The portion was good for the price and I would definitely come back again for their dumplings....maybe noodle too but will ask for less sauce.

What a great concept. Great place for lunch at the Mall of America. Love the food options they have. The service was fast. The location is small with limited seating inside. The food was delicious!

Certainly a place for a quick bite and if you're craving for awesome noodles! They also have rice dishes and a bunch of appetizers that we just finally went through! We particularly like the scallion pancakes and the spicy Sichuan Wonton in Chili Oil! Yum! Fast service and casual. It does get busy during peak hours so just be patient, they truly hustle to get your food to you. Worth a try in Edina, especially before you go grocery shopping at the nearby Whole Foods or bargain hunting at Home Goods.

Tried the MOA location and was pleased to see them there. Small setup with only a handful of small tables and a small counter for dining in. The food is tasty. The wontons are really good, legit! The noodles taste homemade (I think they are) and in a tasty sauce...not too salty. Fried rice is surprisingly pleasant and made with the smaller, Japanese looking rice. Service is only to place your order. You are responsible for clearing your table if you're lucky enough to get one. Portions aren't large like at Americanized Chinese restaurants so don't come here for large portions.

So happy to see that the MOA finally has a Master Noodle! This is a super authentic Chinese/Taiwanese restaurant, and pretty much everything on their menu is great. I definitely recommend the garlic noodles (can be ordered with many meats, but I like shrimp), the "fungus" - chewy and spicy black mushrooms, the "burrito," which is a Taiwanese style pancake and hoisin appetizer, the wonton in chili oil, and the dan dan noodles, but again everything is amazing. Service was fast the one time I ate here, and there's some seating in and near the restaurant, but you can also take your meal to the food court seating. Takeout is also available! This is definitely one of my new go-to spots to eat at the MOA!

I came here for the "Beef Burritos" and they did not disappoint. I loved the texture and the flavors. It was simple but tasty. The rest of the items were not the same quality. I may be biased because I've had great Korean scallion pancakes and these were paper thin and I didn't taste scallion at all. I loved the dipping sauce though so they were easy to devour. The Steamed dumplings were ok but not worth coming back for. The wontons although looked beautiful they lacked flavor. It literally tasted like plain cream cheese. I don't think they add any additional flavor or sweetness to the cream cheese. It just tasted really bland compared to every other cream cheese wonton I've ever tasted. We also ordered the spring rolls which sadly no one ate after trying 1 bite. They were very bland and the veggies inside were mushy/sogggy. Dipping sauce couldn't even save these. We did not try their dish they're known for "noodles." This review is solely on appetizers.

Noodles were tasty. I could see them making it in the back. Fresh made noodles good. They have number system to get food out but not always numerical order. It's mainly a counter but has a few spots to sit. Adequate but often full of patrons.

I've stopped by 3 - 4 times and am continually surprised by the quality of the food. Had the beef brisket noodle soup and pan fried pork bun and the quality is not very different from an alley in Taipei. (I'm a native Taiwanese.) In fact, these two items may be the best available to a local without involving a boarding pass. The soup was absolutely correct in flavor and the noodles were hand pulled. The dough on the pork bun was freshly made. Surprisingly, the offering in their Edina store is not nearly this good. That chef is heavy handed with the MSG while this chef doesn't use any at all. It's an amazing offering among all the plastic food in the big Mall.

Really good customer service but the food was mediocre for quick bites. Tried the pork soup dumplings, pan fried pork dumplings, pork buns, house fried rice, shrimp dumplings, and shrimp shu mai. Each dish was a bit plain and packing really low amounts of meat. Disappointed in the pork buns and pan fried pork buns. Same meat and one bun order was just pan fried. The pork dumplings was undercooked since the wrapper was hard, the shrimp dumplings were ok, and the shrimp shumai was mediocre at best. The house fried rice was decent but needed more seasoning. Disappointed but it was enough to fill our bellies.

The food was literally so good I'm walking out hurting ‍‍‍ pineapple fried rice with the chili oil and yum yum sauce + the pork fried bun with the sauce was one of the best things I've eaten at the the mall . Probably my go to ! Service was fast and friendly ! Super cute Decor

Takoyaki dough was almost raw, soup dumplings where totally drained and no one seems to care much about what they are doing..

Good is consistently good and hits all the marks. Noodles always have the right amount of chew, whether that is the shaved noodles or the hand pulled noodles. Staff is flexible to change your meat preferences!
