Fresh ingredients with reasonable local price. You would need to gather all request in once as their staff work fast & very busy from table to table. Can be impatient with repeated request. You can shop for many interesting snacks for gift here. Love their steamboat. Bought many snacks too👍🏼

Had our lunch at this famous Michellin star hotpot restaurant. The portion is really a lot and the food is delicious.

Yesterday we went to the master of mushroom restaurant, undoubtedly, the mushroom hotpots there were describable fresh and delicious! Every single mushroom contained the sweet and fully flavoured sauce!!! It’s worth to try their foods. HOWEVER, the service there was not welcoming and no waiter come and check your hotpots from time to time and see if you need anything. So, overall, I have no doubt about the foods but the service.

Great food!! Hotpot soup is full of flavour and the portion for the set is huge. The side dishes are delicious- make sure u get the salt egg yolk mushrooms!

Most of the food is bland, flavorless. The whole chicken soup has no flavor. With all mushrooms you would think it would be savory. But it's not. The chicken turns out dry and the soup is water. Fried stuff is all the same, no seasoning. The squid was very good and the mushrooms in some sauce were too. Parking across the street is excellent and free. Service was super fast. I can't recommend this place at all. Just go somewhere else.

A must visit for mushroom lovers. Hot pot with their mushroom broth was excellent. The price is also fair. A good selection of mushroom and fungi, both as prepared snacks and in dried packages. The location is a bit out of the way. It is reachable by bus from Taichung for about an hour's time. Also, if you like hiking, there are a selection of hiking routes around the area, where you can plan your day depending on your level of fitness. Watch out for stray dogs when going up hiking routes, though, we had to detour after we were chased away by a pack of three dogs. Google Map routes are good enough to navigate the well marked trails.

Nice place with scenic view outside of restaurant. Soup is delicious with wide variety of mushrooms. Is a delightful meal for someone who enjoys eating mushroom. Not recommended for person who does not like mushroom or allegic to them.

Dishes mostly made using mushrooms. Many different varieties of mushrooms you can try. But do not over order as the portions are quite huge. To me, the dishes were not bad. However, they didn't exceed my expectations.

The last time I am here was 5years ago, it has became very popular. And the service is not as well but the food is still great.
