Our experience at Mastro's Ocean Club was absolutely phenomenal! We had 9 PM reservations, and even though the kitchen closes at 9:15, we never felt rushed. We were seated on the patio, the weather was perfect, creating great ambiance. The food was cooked to perfection, and every bite was an experience. The waitstaff was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and the preparation of each dish, making recommendations that truly elevated our meal. We also indulged in caviar, which was presented with a VIP-style a unique and memorable touch! The desserts were just as impressive as the rest of the meal. From start to finish, this was a five-star experience. Highly recommend Mastro's for an upscale dining experience that delivers on every level!

Our 15th Anniversary Dinner – Perfection! My husband made reservations for our 15th anniversary, and everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish! From the moment we walked in, I was impressed. The ambiance was beautiful with live music playing, and they had already noted it was a special occasion—seating us right by the water with the most stunning view. It truly felt magical. To my surprise, when I opened the menu, it was personalized just for us. What a thoughtful and elegant touch! We started with the crab cakes, fried calamari and shrimp— absolutely delicious. Even the bread basket blew us away (hot pretzel bread? Yes, please!). The signature cocktails… on point!!! I also had the burrata followed by a perfectly cooked bone-in filet. Every single bite was divine. Huge compliments to the chef! We ended the evening with the most incredible butter cake paired with a 100-year port flight. OMG—wow. It was the perfect sweet ending to a truly unforgettable night. The food, the service, the attention to detail—everything was top-notch. I cannot recommend this place enough, especially for special occasions. We’ll absolutely be back!

I literally love this place! I went for a birthday dinner, and ohmg I'll definitely come again. The staff members are so sweet, one literally princess walked me to the bathroom when I was lost. Another saw me struggle to take pictures (here has great photo op spots btw !) & he helped me as well. Everyone was just so warm & welcoming. As for the food, it was yummy! I had the lobster roll & mac and cheese so I can only vouch for those two. 10/10 for both. The rest of the party members cleaned their plate, or said the food was good & brought home their leftovers. The female bathroom has tampons & pads! I thought that was so sweet, I almost teared up. Great job!

Toby, Preston, and Steve Tuck were awesome for the group we had for an event. Service from the front door all the way to the dock was top tier. The menu selection is amazing. If you don’t visit this restaurant you are doing yourself an injustice. One of my favorite spots in town now!

Unforgettable Anniversary Dinner at Mastro’s Ocean Club! We celebrated our 10th anniversary at Mastro’s in Fort Lauderdale 3/30/2025, and it was nothing short of perfection. From the moment we called to make our reservation to the valet handing us our keys at the end of the night, the customer service was absolutely impeccable. Our waiter, Octavius, made the experience even more special. As salmon lovers, we knew that was a must, but everything else was left up to his expert recommendations—and he did not disappoint! From the perfectly paired wine and cocktails to the mouthwatering sides, every suggestion was spot on. Octavius was not only attentive but also genuinely warm and friendly, making us feel truly celebrated. To top it all off, he surprised us with a slice of cheesecake adorned with “Happy Anniversary”—a thoughtful touch that made our night even more memorable. Even the valet went above and beyond, offering to take photos of us and making sure we had a perfect end to the evening. If you’re looking for a place that radiates luxury, impeccable service, and unforgettable food, Mastro’s Ocean Club is it. Highly recommend for any special occasion or just a night to indulge!

We have had an event here a year ago for a luncheon and everything was amazing. I was here for a birthday and really loved that that had special printed menus for us which was a nice touch. We had the perfect view at sunset on the dock. The server was nice but had to ask for something 3 times. It seemed they don't have tables they service near each other so maybe it was harder to get back to us. We had the Calamari which was very good and my friend had the Cesar salad but it was too much heat in it. The other steak was a little under cooked for her as she said it didn't have much flavor. My Chilean Seabass was perfectly cooked and the waiter suggested the jumbo shrimp in top but they were rubbery so would not suggest adding them. When we ordered the steaks the server made it clear and insisted that we must order it one temp higher than we are used to. Birthday boy ordered the Steak "Medium" as instructed to get a "Medium rare" like elsewhere. The Bone in Filet steak shown came out "medium well". We sent it back and the second version looked like a chunk of the steak was eaten off so it was smaller and that was "Well done". That was removed by the manager and they apologized. We then asked our waiter to just cancel the steak instead at this point cause it seemed they must have a new guy in the kitchen. After that, not even 5 minutes since they took away the 2nd steak another steak was delivered. We didn't want it at this point as everyone was finished eating but that actual was properly cooked as a "Medium Rare" steak so we took it home. We asked for a dessert menu and the server said instead the chef would like to bring it something special for us. They presented a beautiful coconut cake and an upside down pineapple cake. Both were absolutely amazing and delicious which far exceeded our expectations. They did Everthing they could to correct their mistakes and the view is spectacular so I had to give them 4 stars. I was in the restaurant business and worked for a great local steakhouse for many years way back so I may be harsher than most so for the price point I expected more. I will definitely return as we all were there previously and agreed it must have just been an off night.

Anniversary dinner was amazing and the vibes were IT! Book the reservation. Your spouse will be happy. Everything from the rockerfeller oysters to our main entrees the lamb chops and double cut pork chops was cooked to perfect and was delicious

Yelp
Mastro's Steakhouse was absolutely amazing! The food was beyond delicious, came here with my husband, my girlfriends, and I felt right at home. The management and staff are super nice and on point with everything. We always get the rack of lamb yumyyyyy and love it so much, plus we always order two servings of the fried calamari extra sauce pleaseeee because it's that good! From the valet to the food and service, everything was perfect. This past weekend for Mdw was a major hit, and we can't wait to go back!

Yelp
The location as far as being right in the water is a 10/10... I've been to other Maestro's and the service and quality was not good. Service was slow - even with. Servers Assistant, I think the Server just didn't care bc we weren't ordering a huge meal. We went there around 8/8:15... And wanted drinks, an app and dessert. We got some au gratin potatoes that were really off, we sent them back. They tasted like the cheese or cream was really bad. We also had their famous butter cake and a crème brûlée - the crème brûlée was fantastic... Their famous butter cake was very dry, not served (very) warm like it's meant to be and it too didn't taste right. Lastly, I know the prices of Maestro's that's not the issue, but paying $27 for a martini - is ridiculous. I won't be going back.

Yelp
Absolutely the most over rated restaurant in Florida, the floor manager alone make this establishment intolerable at best. The food is mediocre and completely over priced, I've yet to receive a steak that's cooked correctly or a piece of fish that's actually fresh after several dozen visits. Amazingly enough they aren't even professional or ethical enough to post a contact us or customer service page on their website. Most likely due to their lack of well....customer service. If you're a pretentious jacka** that feels the need to attempt to impress others with your presence this is your place, if you're looking for actual good food or non racist staff, this so NOT your place! Racist staff!?! Omg you ask? YES! The floor manager at this location has taken it to the next level, and yes I have complained to the BBB, and yes the Florida State Attorneys office, and yes even Gov DeSantis regarding this infraction. Beware ! Be wary! This is not a good establishment.

Robert B.

Yelp
The food here was amazing. The shrimp cocktails were amazing and had jump shrimp on them! We celebrated some of our coworkers birthdays while having a vendor dinner so the location actually customized the menu to say happy birthday at the top. I thought that this was very nice and such a small detail that was appreciated by all of us. The butter cake was as notorious as I had heard about. With the right amount of the biggest scoop of vanilla, soft, serve ice cream you can think of. The ambience was a little darker than I would like, considering that their menus had very small letters and when the sun goes down, it gets harder to see. The sunset was beautiful, and there was a party boat that parked right next to us, so it was a great time! I had the porterhouse steak and do not regret it. It was cooked just as I asked for.

Yelp
Just had a fabulous Valentine's Day dinner last night thanks to Mastro's. I have never been here so it was a first and not the last. Driving here, we did see a self park garage but we went ahead and did valet for $8. We then walked in and checked in with the host for our reservation. We saw a few parties ahead of us waiting in this area so we were a bit concerned there would be a wait. We were seated within 5-10 minutes so we were pretty delighted about that. Once we were seated, our server came over with menus. There was a separate menu for cocktails. We thought it was really unique that they had tableside cocktails that had a little smoke show. We started off with a basket of bread and butter. We didn't notice the $5 charge but it was worth it. There were assorted breads and we enjoyed sampling each type. We ordered lobster bisque and Caesar salad to share. This hit the table quickly and they were kind enough to divide the salad in two bowls for us to share. We thought the Caesar salad had too much cheese but it came together nicely. We then started receiving our steaks, lobster tails and sides. These were presented nicely and they served us a spoonful of each side on our steak plate. We loved the service. I guess I wasn't expecting too much - thinking this would be like any other steakhouse but WOW was I wrong. This is one of the best steakhouses I've been to. The first bite of my bone in ribeye told me that. I loved the flavoring and juicyness of my ribeye. It was cooked to perfection. I wanted to note that the sides are really large. We ordered 3 sides for us 2 and we can tell you right now, it was more than enough. We had plenty of leftovers and the staff kindly boxed everything up for us. We did tell them that we wanted to box up our bread. The person who we told, went ahead and said he would just throw away ours and put fresh bread in. We thought that was super sweet! However, we got home and didn't get the bread. Bummer because we did pay for it. But that's okay. The restaurant is dimly lit and that made me pretty sleepy after our meal! We also really enjoyed walking outside and seeing the boats on the water and the Valentines Day decorated couches by the tableside fire. Everything was perfect and at the end of the meal, the restaurant handed each woman a rose. Thank you to the staff who went above and beyond to make this a memorable holiday.

Yelp
Well, I can officially say this is now my favorite restaurant. It is where my fiancé decided to propose to me! I am so glad for that. He is a man of class and this is exactly what this place is all about. The ambience is absolutely beautiful, you can literally feel the bit of every wind and the beauty of the entire place. They have live music, which is always a plus, especially in the evening by the water during nice weather. The staff is very nice and the manager who was on shift that night was truly a pleasure, she was extremely thoughtful with our special night. The food is amazing, literally hands-down, one of the best steaks and sides you can have in Fort Lauderdale. I know it is a bit pricey, but so are a lot of restaurants. This one is absolutely worth it!!!

Yelp
I came here on a last minute birthday dinner. Reservation was made only a couple hours prior to arriving. It was also on Easter so i very happy to still see they had openings. When my family and i arrived, i was greeted by a friendly hostess who sat us right away. Our waiter (i wish i could remember his name) was amazing! He was funny, polite and attentive. I loved the added touches to acknowledge that it was birthday. The menu said happy birthday on there. I was even given a birthday dessert without even requesting it. It was thoughtful and delicious. The food came out timely. Everything was delicious. I ordered the calamari. A strawberry lemon drop. Filet mignon, ribeye with sides of scalloped potatoes and Mac. Will definitely return.

Allie W.

Yelp
Our server was my favorite part of Mastro's--super sweet and helpful and said his daughter is the pastry chef who came up with the dessert menu (wish I had a pic of the desserts, too!). I liked that when we ordered our martinis, they were filled to the brim and they left each of us our cocktail shakers that had a lil extra leftover in them. The steak and desserts were good, the sides were ok. I wish there was a broader price range on the menu. It was nice to experience but not sure it's my vibe as a whole. Xoxo, Is this thing on?

Cami L.

Yelp
Two words: butter cake. My husband and I are true fanatics and it never disappoints. It is something magical to behold and really worth the visit for the dessert alone. However, the rest of the food is incredible. The sea bass melts in your mouth, the sides are divine and the oysters Rockefeller do not disappoint.

Yelp
Mastro's Ocean Club (fair warning, beaucoup expensive - but I was told Happy Hour is great value) GOOD - Steaks, Service, atmosphere BAD - several of the non steak items (okay at best) I need to open by saying Mastro's is first and foremost a steakhouse. If no one in your party is ordering steak PASS until you are in the mood for steak. Their steak is by far their best food while many of the other dishes are okay, the price is too high for "okay." We had a GREAT experience at Mastro's. I was literally 1 foot from the water, the atmosphere is A+. Our server (and the Team) were excellent - attentive. The steaks are juicy, well-seasoned and huge (priced to match). A surprise start was the table-bread - far from a throw-away - crusty and delicious. The collosal shrimp cocktail was great, lobster bisque - excellent. I would avoid the scallops and the calamari- both present great but fall short. The scallops are under-seared and mushy. The calamari is over fried and the squid is totally lost. I made the mistake of ordering the chicken - it tasted fine, fairly juicy but it is served alone and looked very boring. It was fine but the price was not worth it. My step father's ribeye was off the charts. I would further avoid the mac and cheese side. It looks good but cooked with all natural cheese without cream. While that sounds good, it became a large chewy, dry mass in minutes. They should make a natural cheese sauce to give it a creamy texture. In sum, head to Mastro's for amazing steak and shrimp - stay on that yellow brick road and you will be VERY pleased.

Yelp
Amazing! Took my parents their for their first time and they loved it. It was my moms birthday and they called me ahead to get her name so they can specialize the menu, double checked our preference of where we wanted to sit which I never see a restaurant do. From the moment we walked in we were given 10/10 service from the hostess. Since it was their first time and her birthday, our waiter gave us all a lil complimentary mini app, and since my mom is indecieve our waiter picked something just from a few things we said she'd like and she loved it!!! The steaks came out perfectly as ordered and had sooo much flavor (2 petit fillets and a THICKKK NY STRIP), the sides of the broccolini and creamed corn served all 3 of us where we didn't even eat it all because there was so much. The view is amazing! You get a beautiful view of the intercoastal with the most perfect sunset. We had the cheesecake for dessert with berries and a load of whipped cream for dinner. All and all it was a birthday for her she will always remember. Don't second guess coming here on a weekday as it is the perfect way to spend your weekday dinner. +++ there was someone picking up an Uber eats order when we arrived, and the hostess made sure and read the whole order back to the driver to make sure everything they ordered was in their bag, she also made sure she carried it on the bottom. Even 10/10 service via orders made on delivery servicparty

Yelp
Had a great time when dinning at this Mastros last week. The staff was very kind and attentive. The food was delicious and the wine was 10/10.

Stephanie D.

Yelp
5star Treatment! It was my 18th wedding anniversary. We were serviced with such kindness. The food was delicious. The ambiance was amazing! Our server was very happy and attentive! Even though we had window seating, I'm looking forward to sitting outside on my next visit!

Tiffany A.

Yelp
Servers were extremely attentive, food options are amazing as always, and the food and cocktails were delicious. We really enjoyed the live music as well. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for a nice night out or for a brunch on the water.

Dante W.

Yelp
Big fan of the mastro's restaurant chain after being introduced by a friend to it out in California. Wants to have dinner with a group of my best friends and went to the one in south Florida! I had the 16oz NY Strip, which was out of my ordinary filet order. I requested for medium well but received my steak at a medium temperature to get it reheated. Other than that the sides were amazing definitely recommend the Mac and cheese, corn, and spinach! Don't forget to order a butter cake for dessert! Service is usually always pretty good as well!

Chauncey S.

Yelp
I love dining at Mastro's. Service and food are excellent! My only issue and I have spoken to guests that I have sent there is the music. I dined last night and I could not hear what my guests were saying. This is a fine dining supper club and music should fit the mood. The music should not override the guests. We had to dine inside due to rain ,normally I dine on the deck to avoid the music. From our server Frenchie to the backup team excellent. That Ribeye superb! The music needs to change.

Florence R.

Yelp
Dined here a few months back and had a bad experience. The manager invited us back to have a better experience. The lady manager was very nice and accommodating. We had excellent service from our waiter Joey throughout our entire dinner. We ordered the watermelon tequila jalapeño drink it was delicious. As far as the food goes it was a hit or miss. We ordered the tuna tartar, in my opinion it was way too mayonnaisey and mushy once mixed up. We also ordered the bone marrow, usually the fat is melted but when it was brought out it was solid on the bone. I definitely had better at other steakhouses like meat market. The Bronzino was cooked to perfection and the filet was delicious as well. Overall would rate it a 3.5/5 because of the good service and entrees that made up for the lacking appetizers.

Jess B.

Yelp
This restaurant is absolutely stunning located right on the intercoastal. The outdoor seating view is one of the best and makes for a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. All of the food we ordered was delicious from the seafood tower (best lobster ever had), fresh sushi, great sides like the lobster Mac & creamed spinach & dessert was delicious!

Bryn C.

Yelp
My boyfriend planned a date night here as a surprise and we had a great time! Due to a private party on one side of the patio, and 2 yachts on the other side there was limited water view spots open. We opted to order a drink at the bar while a better table opened up. As soon as it was ready the hostess came to the bar to let us know. At the bar I had the rhubarb gimlet (although they were out of the rhubarb syrup, the bartender made me an alternate version that was still great). After we transferred to our table we started with their refillable bread basket. It came out hot and I appreciated that the butter wasn't frozen cold and unspreadable. For dinner we ordered things to share; a filet, cheddar Mac n cheese, truffle gnocchi and the Brussels sprouts. The steak came out perfect temp and the sides were all great. Nothing was too salty, and the truffle gnocchi is as indulgent and rich as it sounds. We were stuffed by the end of the evening and still have a ton of leftovers. Our server was really nice, and our waters were constantly refilled. Occasionally our server was slow to check in on us, but we were having a nice date night so we didn't mind too much. I wish we would have had room for butter cake!

Alicia W.

Yelp
I'm original from NY and currently live in Savannah GA. I drove about 7 hours to this location as this is my favorite restaurant... well in NY it was my favorite restaurant. Everything started out great but once we received our food our waiter Michael was missing in action. He didn't ask how the food was until after we finished. He never refilled our drink nor our water. We had to ask Sophie at the front desk to take our bill as we waited for Michael to serve other tables. I never had this experience with the mastros in NY. Waiters were always attentive no matter how busy it was. And if they were busy we had dessert sent to our table or another waiter would assist on their behalf. Where is the team work??Very disappointed. Maybe Micheal and the rest of the staff need to spend a week in NY to see how it's done.

L B.

Yelp
The fellas and I were in South Florida for Sun, fun, golf and fellowship. We always pick a quality steak house for our Sunday final night dinner. Mastro's Ocean Club was this year's pick. The great: Manny the server, the water views, the live music (the lady on the piano was amazing), the steaks, sides and drinks. The bad: the host staff , despite having a reservation they called to confirm, was less than warm for a place at which we spent $800 on dinner for four. Their steaks are fabulous and the sides are perfection. The drinks are honest and taste great too. Great place, but please speak to you front of house staff. The host staff at your Las Vegas location is dramatically friendlier.

Crystal J.

Yelp
I recently went to Mastros for birthday dinner for my grandmother. I would start off by saying valet price to park you car was cheaper and better than self parking. Arriving inside greeted by hostess and nice welcome. Our waiter was okay not bad at all. Just very packed but was attentive when needed. The music and ambiance was nice and next time I'll sit outside for the perfect view of the water. Food I ordered which was a 8/10 my salmon was blackened but wish it was blackened a little more. Now those Brussel sprouts were so delicious because my mother kept eating mine lol. Then I had maned potatoes those were regular but tasty. I would come again and try more items especially for girls night or date night.

Yelp
Came here for dinner last night and had the most phenomenal dinner. Everything was perfect! We frequent the Beverly Hills Mastro's, but we've been to the Malibu and Costa Mesa locations as well. And I can say that, without a doubt, the Fort Lauderdale location is the best of them all. First of all, I cannot recommend the outdoor seating enough, especially if you're a party of two. We were seated directly next to the water, enjoying the quiet and privacy and enjoying that soft intracoastal breeze. And of course, the food was perfect. We had all of our usuals - seared bigeye tuna to start, the A5 wagyu New York strip, the bone-in ribeye, Mac n cheese, button mushrooms, asparagus, broccoli, and the butter cake. Everything was delicious, perfectly prepared, and so full of flavor. And for some reason, the butter cake here was better than I've had at any other Mastro's. And the service is wonderful as well! Everyone was kind and anticipated our every need, never overbearing, perfect in their timing of refills and coming over to check on us. Our waiter, Rob, was the best! And Juliana was phenomenal, an absolute sweetheart who made sure that we had the most incredible time. She is, without a doubt, the reason that this Mastro's surpassed my expectations and ranks as the best location I've been to. I cannot wait to return the next time I'm in Ft. Lauderdale!

John H.

Yelp
Man tried this place a second time and they...KNOCKED. IT. OUT. OF. THE. PARK. I'm not normally a roasted chicken guy and dislike rosemary immensely. If I wanted to eat an evergreen, I'd roast the Christmas tree for Christmas dinner. Anyways, the chicken was amazing. The gnocchi was AMAZING as well. I had to try to replicate it as soon as I got home for the wife. Mine was good but not that good. We sat by the piano and the performer was great as was the service. Always lots of people watching to do as well. And to the manager lady who messaged me about reaching out I didn't see your message until after I'd already dined again. Going back hopefully tonight.

Tina K.

Yelp
Came for lunch and we sat outside. It's beautiful and right on the water! Huge restaurant - so no need for reservations. Valet parking or paid street parking is available. Food was excellent- from the bisque to the filet to the oysters- everything we had was delicious. Sides are large enough to share for a few people (2-4). Service was cruddy at best. We were one of three parties seated outside, with nobody inside. Waiter was nice but super slow, forgot to check on us and the other tables. Forgot to bring things, we had to follow up multiples times. It wasn't just us, the table next to us had a similar experience and had to sent their food back. Overall, good food but service was pretty terrible for a fine dining restaurant.

Maxine M.

Yelp
Been to the DC and NYC locations but this one has one more great element, great view! Great service. Good food. Enjoyable dining experience.

Kyle R.

Yelp
It's tough to decide whether to sit indoors or outside because both offer a great experience! Their outdoor is situated right next to the water and it's a beautiful sight to see boats floating by as the sun sets. Inside, you'll get to enjoy the live performance of their pianist playing songs you're certain to recognize. Their service was unparalleled and made selecting some great options from the menu very easy! We were very pleased with the Chilean sea bass, which was light and savory. Of course, their filets are loaded with rich flavor, yet seem to melt away in your mouth. Capping off a remarkable evening can be done with their warm butter cake which is an absolute must no matter how full you may feel.

Marielle M.

Yelp
TLDR: Food was phenomenal as always. I removed one star because of the service. Our waiter was great when he eventually came around. I came here tonight for my fiancé's birthday. It was his first time at Mastros. We walked in and the restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays. We were greeted immediately by the hostess but had to wait a little bit to be seated as I could overhear there was an issue with a server not wanting to be sat in his section. We were sat right on the dock on the water and I asked to move tables as I was so nervous I was going to fall in being so close. We moved one table further in and it was a table for four which was perfect since we shared an app and sides. We definitely needed the four top. Once seated, it was a while before our server came to our table, but once he came we ordered everything since it was already around 8pm for 7:30 reservation. I ordered the amaretto sour, my fiancé ordered the old fashioned. We got the bread basket, bigeye seared tuna to start which we shared and a wedge salad which they split for us (nice touch and no split charge). The tuna came out before our drinks which we were bummed for, but not that big of a deal as I know the bar runs a different schedule than the kitchen. For our mains, I got the 8oz filet and my fiancé got the ribeye. We also split the Mac & cheese and the twice baked potato. The timing between each course of bread basket and tuna, salad and meat were absolutely perfect. The meat was cooked a perfect medium rare. The best part was the plates were EXTREMELY hot which when the waiter put the Mac & cheese on the plate it literally sizzled and kept the food hot. We asked for boxes which took a while to get. Our waiter assisted us in putting the leftover food into the boxes. We had some leftover bread so I threw it in a to-go container and our waiter mentioned he could get us some bread to go if we wanted. I said it was fine, but he insisted so we obliged. There was a massive lag time between when we finished our entree and dessert. We were kind of just sitting there waiting around looking. Since I've been to Mastros multiple times before and have celebrated birthdays here prior, I knew they always brought the butter cake which I hyped up to my fiancé SO much. It's delicious and I was really excited for him to try it. After a good 25ish minutes, a busser brought us a cheesecake which I was so sad for. It was good, but not the butter cake. Once I finally found the waiter I asked for a butter cake to go so my fiancé could experience it. At that point, we didn't want to wait around to eat it there. He also asked if they brought out my to-go bread which they hadn't. After about probably another 20 minutes, the waiter brought the check and to-go bread and butter cake. I looked at the check and they took off the cheesecake which was nice (but I also didn't ask for it lol), but there was another $5 additional for bread. I was kind of upset because I didn't know he would charge me again for another order of bread. I mean, it's $5 in the scheme of things for a $300 meal, but still. Overall, service was subpar but had its good moments. Food was fantastic, hot and cooked perfectly. The view and beautiful weather made it even better. My fiancé had a great time and loved celebrating his birthday at Mastros.

Yelp
Our first time At Mastro's but have been to Charlie's Crab years ago at this location. A beautiful transformation, stunning bar and lighting, and comfortable patio tables on the pier on the Intracoastal. Service was impeccable from our server, Jonathan to all the assistant staff. I enjoy my meal when the staff is attentive yet non-intrusive. The food was delicious! The portions are large and we took home what we couldn't finish. I posted our food from cocktails to appetizers to entrees with sides to desserts! My favorite was the colossal crab which melts in your mouth and the lobster bisque is the best I have ever! I will add more ....

Yelp
Had dinner here tonight and was very disappointed. First we were seated and waited about 5 minutes before anyone came to our table. We finally got our stale bread. We ordered an appetizer which was ok. We ordered dinner . The so called premium steak was no better than Outback. The lobster tails were good. The Brussel sprouts were horrible and the garlic mashed potatoes were runny ( probably from a box ). Our drinks were empty until we asked for another. Mediocre service. I think our waiter was washing dishes there last week. My wife had a martini. The waiter was pouring it in to the glass and the drink was flying all over the place We order dessert and coffee the desert came and after we finished the desert the coffee showed up. I don't mind spending $$$ for a good meal but this place is nothing but over priced crap 1/2 star Oh They charge $8 to park What a joke

Yelp
Top notch. The food, the service, the wine and spirits - all are excellent. The selection of food options is well above what's available at a standard steakhouse and everything is prepared to perfection. Don't let the drink prices fool you. Each drink (cocktail or wine pour) is a drink and a half, so the pricing is very fair. Don't get me wrong, these guys are pretty expensive, but it's well worth the price. Request to dine outside, there is both covered and uncovered outdoor dining right on the water...the environment is perfect. Eat great food and watch the yachts cruise by...the perfect Ft. Lauderdale experience!

Yelp
What a great experience at Mastro's in Ft Lauderdale. Mathew our bartender and server made our special dinner a great experience. Wonderful service and exceptional advice. We will be making Mastro's a regular stop for drinks and dinner. The live singer was also awesome and made the warm ambiance perfect for the evening and the holidays.

Yelp
I only have one word, "Amazing." Everything was so good and flavorful. We experienced excellent service, and the ambiance was nice. In the end, we all were thinking about the next time we would be coming back. Lastly, the butter cake... Was everything. You much try the butter cake.

Yelp
Maestro's Ocean club, located in Fort. Lauderdale Florida. I had dinner plans, while visiting. Let me share my experience. Maestro's has dim lighting with a beautiful Ambiance. They had live performances from the young lady captured in the video, below. She was fantastic, you'll get a great feel of the 90's vibes soft music, while sipping on your cocktail or eating your dinner. This wasn't a noisy performance it was the perfect, speak easy volume. I sat at the Bar due to last minute plans. Bar staff was okay. One bartender, took my sidecar martini drink order, then walked away without telling me anything, never came back to check on me. I had to request another bartender take my drink order & things were good. I visited Maestro's on Valentine's Day which makes things a little busier. My food order was okay, they sent my Mac & Cheese for a fresher Oder. Once that was done everything was good. Maestro's ocean views, Valet service & live entertainment was amazing. I would have to visit Maestro's again in the future, so I can, rate their food again, since it was so busy. Kudos to the Valet team& Singer for outstanding service.

Yelp
Celebrated my birthday (11/10) with family and it was great. Our server was amazing and entertaining, he kept the mood going and always addressed me by my name. The food and ambiance was great!

Yelp
O Bar is the name of the bar located inside Mastro's Ocean Club and as bars go, it's one of my favorites. It's one of Fort Lauderdale's more classy bars with a dress code strictly enforced, hence you won't have to put up with any of the local loud-mouth dive bar types. Every drink I've had here, and I've had a lot of them, have been of a generous full measure pour. But there is a lot more to O Bar. During Happy Hour, Mastro's puts out a special menu available only at the bar. Then there is the view. If you sit at the east end of O Bar looking west you get a great view of the Intracoastal and its boat traffic. Then there is the nightly entertainment which is a baby grand piano and a really good singer which starts around 6 o'clock. So, if you like classy bars, beautiful surroundings, and good entertainment, O Bar is it.

Yelp
Walking in, we did not have any expectations. However, the restaurant is beautiful and the views are breathtaking. Our waiter, Christian, made sure we were comfortable and made us feel at home. We only came to order the butter cake and it. did. not. disappoint. Wow. I mean. My fiancé doesn't care too much for dessert and he almost ate the entire thing. It was the best dessert we've ever had. The service is absolutely amazing. Shout out to Christian - we have a new friend. You're missing out if you haven't been here.

Yelp
Last week a friend and I decided to meet for dinner. We had no reservations and tried to walk-in at two other local establishments. Unfortunately we were told the wait time would be over an hour and a half. So I called Mastro's and asked if they had any available seating and just our luck they said they had a table available. I've been to Mastro's a few times. Overall I think the food is ok but a little over priced (I think there are better fine dining restaurants) but the ambience is what really makes the place. I decided to go with the surf and turf... I had a 8 ounce filet and lobster tail. Overall I would rate this establishment a 3.5. The view is always beautiful. Most people go there for the ambience. I don't think I've ever had anything that wowed me but I would go back.

Yelp
Love love LOVED everything about this place! The location was perfect and so romantic. We sat out on the deck and the vibes, music, service were all great! From steaks, to crab cakes, shrimp, oysters, salads, mashed potatoes, spinach, Mac and cheese-everything was delicious! Lemon drops and some kind of strawberry drink were all popular choices amongst my crew... After dining at this location going to the restaurant back home is never going to be the same :(

Yelp
we were celebrating our anniversary we decided to try a place that we hadn't been to. This was really a delightful place to have an anniversary dinner. It's right on the water you can sit inside or out. It was too humid tonight to sit outside, so we sat inside the server Steve was excellent.also his helper was very efficient and personable. ( only thing that I can say that I felt negative about was when I asked for separate checks they said they couldn't do that that made it very uncomfortable. Every other restaurant I've ever been to in Florida area has always given us separate checks I do that because I want everyone to decide what they want to eat and not base it on their friends order to eating. Or drink And I think you do this to be fair )I think this is a service that should be extended. Even at this restaurant we do pay with two cards, so what difference does it make ) ) The salmon was cooked perfectly. You had a choice of how you want it cooked. I had mine grilled and it was delicious. We also had the pork chops which were very good cooked as order and large a baked potato, which was very good. A petite fillet again good and the Chilean Seabass large nice portion perfectly cooked the salad iceberg wedge was delicious and the mastro salad was really good. The salads were large enough to share bread is not complementary it's a five dollar charge !!!!a little noisy inside with the music!! they have valet parking and because they knew it was our anniversary they gave us a complementary dessert which I would say was OMG a butter cake with vanilla ice cream !!I was really impressed with what they gave you for an anniversary celebration? It's certainly made us feel like this was the right place to celebration our anniversary. They also had the menu with the anniversary happy anniversary and a number of years which was also very nice touch l I would highly recommend it for anyone either celebrating or just for a really good night out for a delicious dinner !!!

Yelp
I came here for my Birthday dinner with my 2 close friends. I booked my reservation a few days in advance and I mentioned that I was celebrating a Birthday. On arrival we took advantage of the complimentary Valet service. Walking in the restaurant is stunning, dimly lit with beautiful furniture and designed well. We were seated and the view was stunning even at night, we chose to sit inside but we could still see the water. The ambiance was perfect. Our waitress was amazing, a black lady with short hair (so sorry that I forgot your name). She was very friendly and attentive. When I got the menu I noticed that it said "Happy Birthday Nickicia" at the top and wow, that was amazing that they even thought to do that. She made great suggestions for us and I went with the petite filet mignon 6oz and we decided to share the lobster mashed potatoes, white cheddar mac & cheese and creamed spinach. We were told that the servings were big and they did not disappoint, even after splitting them between the 3 of us we still had left overs. My steak was cooked to perfection and the sides were so good, the lobster mashed potatoes was my favorite, I loved how much lobster was in each bite. The service was top notch. The manager came over to our table numerous times to check in and make sure that everything was good. He gave us complimentary shrimp that was so tasty and we were very thankful. I really loved the customer service here. Epitome of fine dining. *They called me the next day to see how my experience dining with them went and thanked me for choosing them to celebrate my Birthday. I never experience this level of service before and if I could give them 10 stars I would!!! Highly recommended and I'm already counting down until the next time that I go.

Yelp
I had really good service here but I found the food to be on the hit or miss side of things. Hits: pork chop, burrata salad. Missess: asperagus and the gnocchi (if that's what you want to call that plate, it was more like mashed potatoes and gravy with mushrooms thrown in). Take the pricing into consideration and you are better off at a Morton's or a Capital Grille. I also thought it was kind of cute that the exterior of the restaurant looks like a strip club. Live music was a nice touch. They have a bar area and a main seating area inside as well as outside. Drinks looked very pricey. Valet is the better option as it should be cheaper than street parking. For a higher level dining experience it misses the mark due to average dishes. Vegetarians have the option of a few salads and the vegetable plate which is not on the menu. Waterside dining is a plus.

Yelp
The food was very good and fresh, but the service took awhile. I would suggest sitting outside if the weather is good because it is a little loud outside. They are also able to move the tables that are right on the water if you want a better view and are very nice about it.

Yelp
Went for a birthday dinner and had to come back for date night! My boyfriend loved the Porterhouse and this may just be our go to steak spot. I had the lobster mash that was warm and delicious. Last time I did the lobster bisque and the mash was definitely the better of the two. Excited to come back again.

Yelp
Always start with the parking...it was great in that they had excellent valet service. There isn't really parking nearby and they do a great job of being efficient and offer a great price! Okay, so, the entry. Pretty grand! The ambiance inside is amazing. A huge chandelier graces the indoor dining area. They also have great live music on the inside. The outside is what makes this place. Literally right on the inter coastal. You can sit dockside and watch the boats come up. There is not a railing there and the waiter said they have had to rescue people from falling in! It shouldn't be a concern unless you've had one too many drinks lol Now to the food. YUMMY! The steaks we had were delish!!! Done perfectly to our customized requests. The fried calamari was so fresh and yummy! The sides were well priced for a fancy steakhouse. We brought our own bottle of wine (Napa Valley Quilt). Their bottle fee was $45 so it is more economic to bring a bottle if you plan on having more than 2.5 glasses of wine as individual glasses start at around $16. Oh - the baked potato and Brussels sprouts were our sides and they were great!! Alfons the service manager came out to check on us and walked us to valet (we felt famous). You can hear the live music playing from the outside and it wasn't too loud so we could still hear ourselves. Overall, a great night! We recommend and will return!

Yelp
My amazing husband took me to a beautiful dinner to celebrate my birthday. Nicolina was our waitress and she was very efficient, knowledgeable, and a true delight. The food was exceptional. The ribeye was cooked at the perfect temperature and it came out on a hot plate! The fish was very flavorful. The dessert was one of the best I've ever had. Thank you for a beautiful experience.

Yelp
Good location but food was not that not worthy our food came out, was overcooked and unfavorable the sautéed spinach tasted like there was still cooking oil in there that has not been burnt off

Yelp
I have been to Mastro DC, Las Vegas , Beverly Hills, Malibu , NYC . I love them all. The service at this restaurant is absolutely amazing. Since it was my first time , our server Nikolina was on point. She was extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful.they gifted us with a shrimp dish which was absolutely delicious. We order oyster Rockefeller which was tasty and fresh . Calamari was crunchy and meaty. The special Shrimp was colossal and cooked to perfection. Each shrimp was about 8 ounces each. We also ordered sushi which was so so so good. For out entree , we ordered bone in ribeye and since the special shrimp was so good that we ordered them again for our entree.
