Michelin starred Omakase kaiseki menu, with a crab focus when we visited in the mid of February. A tiny restaurant on a second floor at a side alley in the popular shinsaibashi/dontobori area. The food was so fresh and delicate. We sat at the counter and every course was prepared in front of us. And of course as a kaiseki ryori, the presentation of food and the plates/dishes used were wonderful. Since we are foreigners, there was an electronic translator prepared in front of our table even before we arrived at the restaurant, and the staff used it to explain the food to us although they were very limited in English skills. Don’t forget to order sake if you can drink, they have many different and interesting ones to offer with the food!
