A Food and Drink Guide to Tōhoku, Home to Japan’s Best Sake and Wagyu | Eater
"Alongside early adopters, this restaurant helped popularize Kōriyama’s nearly black, soy sauce–based ramen, notable for its deep color balanced by a mellow, savory profile." - La Carmina
I just went today but have actually gone more than ten times. During this time, the staff were very rude and behaved bad behavior. When I asked, she ignored me and did not actually listen anymore. I wonder if it is the Japanese behavior of the restaurant. Please improve even if the customer is a foreigner. If you would not like to welcome the foreigner, you can write a message in front of your restaurant.

We ordered two bowls of matcha, name labeled by hand, as seen in the photo. I chose the most expensive option in the store (880 yen) excluding sweets, and it had an incredibly rich flavor that I absolutely loved. While the staff didn’t speak English, they were very welcoming to tourists and provided excellent recommendations. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, making for a truly enjoyable experience.

Great place for matcha lovers. The matcha pudding was the best. The set of matcha sweets was good for a people who wanted to try a little bit of everything!
There were varieties of matcha powers available. Thanks to the friendly staff who helped recommend which matcha powder I should brought home.

Only managed to ordered their pure matcha drink coz I was too full, but it packs a good amount (if not one of the best) of umami I’ve tried of matcha cafes like this.
Would wanna try out their dessert set, which comprises five delicious looking matcha sweets.

I saw this store on the news and had to check it out! I love matcha and was not disappointed! It was Wednesday when I went so there were plenty of places to sit in the café space. On the weekends it might be difficult to get a seat right away. The location is also pretty convenient, a subway station to the north and south within easy walking distance!

My favourite tea shop in Japan! The best one! Most delicious fresh tea for a good price! I also recommend the matcha soft ice cream, it’s so delicious! My wife enjoyed it a lot as well!
