Five Restaurants To Try in Summerlin This Weekend - Eater Vegas

"Casa del Matador stocks more than 120 tequilas, any of which can serve as the perfect addition to a fresh margarita. Menu highlights include goat cheese-stuffed jalapeños wrapped in bacon and house-made pork chorizo tacos. Happy hour is served seven days a week from 4 to 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. to close." - Krista Diamond

Cool deco and have a full bar. Smokin margarita was awesome, crispy brussel sprouts was delicious & fried ice cream was good. Services was good, but our waiter was a bit too much on steering us to order what we wanted.

We went for a late meal, after 9pm. It was quiet. We got prompt service. I enjoyed their margarita. It was not overly sweet and was not just a mix. I got the enchiladas. I like that I chose the filling and sauce along with the sides. Definitely can make the meal fit your tastebuds. I liked the corn tortilla better than the flour.

We stopped here after after visit to Red Rock canyon. Good service and ambiance. Our table ordered Cilantro-lime shrimp, shredded chicken Enchilada with two types of sauce: Picante and Poblano, street tacos and Cornmeal crusted Mahi Mahi. Everyone liked their dishes and found it filling. Enchilada Picante is really good if you love spicy. To drink, we had mojito with ginger (can't remember the exact name of the drink) and that was really good as well.

Just tried it for the first time, we ate at the bar and the bartender was friendly and chill. She has good knowledge of the menu and recommend some dishes. The food was very good and a little different from traditional Mexican food.

It was pretty good. We were sat quickly, and our order also arrived quick. It wasnt too busy, but Tuesday night 5pm busy. We ordered 3 happy hour plates and all 3 were pretty good. The bacon wrapped jalapenos were over cooked but I still ate all of them lol. My girl ordered a ginger ale and got 2 glasses brought to the table and both were completely different shade/color/taste. Servers were friendly and quick.

The Matador Restaurant is in the outdoor mall in Summerlin outside of Las Vegas. I really liked this place. The bartender and waitress were really super nice and attentive. Everything I have on the money was really good. I tried the black bean queso, the assortment of street tacos, and even the strawberry lemonade and iced tea were really good. If you are in Summerlin and looking for a good place to eat, I would definitely give this place a try.

Delicious chips, salsa and guac. The sauces on the enchiladas were a bit intense but delicious nonetheless. Great waitstaff.

Arrived at 8 pm. Stood at hostess desk for 10 minutes waiting to be seated. No one even acknowledged we were there. Not overly busy. Finally got seated outside. Ordered drinks. Took 20 minutes to get my margarita, top-shelf. Ordered dinner. Had to ask for napkins. No dinner napkins. Waitress gave us a pile of cocktail napkins. Food was memorable in that it had no taste. My carnitas was over cooked, dry, and little taste. Wife's taco salad was bland. Have had much better. Took 20 minutes for wife to get refill on he diet coke. One trip is enough. Won't be back. Service was slow and inattentive. Much better Mexican food elsewhere,
