Match Stoneware makes beautiful plates and cups. I stopped by after seeing their tablewares in different coffee shops and restaurants, notably Destroyer right across the street. This location is both a studio and a showroom. I got two wonderful salad plates and have been using them since. Loved them!

Yelp
Wife bought a tea set from Destroyer as a gift for me. We went to Destroyer to exchange it with something else and were denied and asked to go directly to Match. We went to Match which is right around the corner and were told that they were closed and that we should come back after the holidays. Today wife goes there and she is blatantly told that they have a no return policy. Do not buy gifts from these people as you cannot return them. I think we will start a claim with our credit card company and see what they can do about this.

Yelp
So many great finds here! You'll be allowed in after ringing the bell. The front room is filled with unique items out on display. Most of the items available for purchase are in the back. Shelves stocked with bowls, mugs, plates, trays, and more of all different shapes and sizes. If you're looking for a collection of products, have no fear. Looking for a gift for a friend? Wanting a piece of art in your own home, perhaps? The staff here are amazing! Helpful and not pushy at all. I ended up leaving with a few great unique selects! A beautiful espresso cup, one of their famous knuckle ring mugs, a candle, a matcha bowl, and an artsy bowl / mug for a friend. I loved these mushroom looking pieces in the front. I thought it was for artistic display only, but they also can be used as a plate / bowl! Expensive, but so so so exquisite. If you purchase a candle from them, you can always go back in to get a refill (not sure how much they charge for that). All of the items were wrapped with the utmost of care. Be sure to let then know if something is a gift for someone too cause they can wrap it in its own separate bag for you.

Yelp
I've always been a very thrifty person when it comes to furnishing my home, even many years out of college and after getting a full time job, so I've always had Ikea plates. But recently, I started following this store seeing their stoneware on several chef's insta feeds, and I am really awestruck by the beauty of their pieces. When I saw that they were having a holiday sale for Small Business Saturday, I decided to check it out. It is not cheap, buy every piece is unique and handmade. The items are quite interesting and some pieces are unlike any other ceramics I have seen. I brought home some beautiful bowls and a set cups for gifts. They had another sale this weekend and I couldn't resist. I found a set of bowls and plates that matched the cups I originally had planned to get a gift, and I loved the look of them. So much so that I kept the cups and found another gift. The other thing about the store is that the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, gladly answering questions when needed. While I still use my Ikea plates too, these wares are definitely a nice upgrade and a future housewarming gift to myself when I decide to move. Also since most people come to Yelp for food, the other cool thing is that they sometimes pair with chefs too offer pop ups. This past weekend Mei Lin (from Nightshade) cooked up some chicken sandwiches for sale, and the previous time I was there, they were selling her cookies.

Yelp
My partner and I got all the dishes for our kitchen made here. We picked out the clay body and mixed and matched the colors we liked. The price is worth it with the handcrafted and unique style. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
My son found Match Stoneware from a private chef he follows on social media. This place is incredible. It looks small when you walk in, but the pieces are all very intriguing, wonderful and beautiful. There's a wall that I loved; it was laced with old cameras - sooo cool! A shout out to the young women who work there. They were friendly, approachable and definitely are passionate about the work they do - Kudos! We were on a "fieldtrip" of L.A. and I'm happy that it ended at Match Stoneware. Both my sons were fascinated. Thanks for the experience.

Yelp
Beautiful and interesting stoneware for your next kitchen splurge! Believe it or not - I booked my LA trip with the main goal of picking up some plates and mugs for myself back to NYC. I intentionally made space for the items in my carry-on and I was not playing any games. The location is a bit hard to find as it is in the more industrial part of town where all of the beige-y buildings somewhat look alike. Once you are inside, you are in stoneware wonderland with beautiful, handmade pieces surrounding you. I was (carefully) running around in excitement. I ended up picking up some pieces of different color and shape. A bit pricey around of $50 per piece but it was totally worth it given how much I know I have used the stoneware.

Yelp
We have bought a new house recently... and my wife is really enjoying to buy things for our new home! One of her recent purchases were dishes from Match Stoneware... high quality, hand made! Food looks great in it!

Yelp
Highly recommend this studio for your next or first pottery class! The instructors were extremely patient and helpful. My boyfriend and I loved their Valentine's Day event! We had such a fun time! Can't wait to pick our bowls up and see how they turned out! Thank you Match for the awesome experience.

Yelp
Amazing ceramics and stoneware! The large showroom and factory are definitely worth seeing in person!
