Where to Treat Yourself to Soft Serve Ice Cream Around Atlanta

"For those who enjoy matcha and soft serve ice cream, head to Matcha Cafe Maiko on Buford Highway. The silky sweet texture of soft serve mixed with the slight bitterness of ground green tea leaves makes this ice cream pop with flavor while still being refreshing and not too sweet. Try the matcha and vanilla swirl in a waffle cone. The cafe also includes parfaits and soft serve floats on its menu." - Beth McKibben

Atlanta Food Writers Name Their Favorite Atlanta Restaurants of 2021 | Eater Atlanta

For Atlanta magazine deputy editor Sam Worley, Matcha Cafe Maiko has become a regular spot for soft serve when he’s dining on Buford Highway. He likes the rotating flavor selections here. “The last time I was there, it was dalgona—the Korean sugar candy that played a memorable role in Squid Game. (Unlike on the TV show, though, at Matcha Cafe Maiko they don’t murder you if you fumble the ice cream cone.)”" - Beth McKibben

I’ve been coming here for a while and recently tried out their mango sticky rice sundae. Honestly not really a fan of the mango ice cream — it was a bit too sour and didn’t taste like mango to me. Also not sure if the toppings on the sundae match the overall flavor. However, their matcha soft serve has always been good, especially mixed with their seasonal flavor of ube. Their shaved ice desserts are also good to share with a small group, although most of the dessert ends up being ice and syrup at the bottom. The toppings within the shaved ice are a good flavor combination. There’s limited parking at the front; I usually like to park in the larger lot in the back. It was pretty busy last time we went, with a line snaking out the door, but seating should be relatively easy to find (some people order to go).

The service was quick. Very polite. Moderately priced. You get a lot for your money. Matcha ice cream was very nice. Too much ice in the black sesame latte but otherwise it was good. Not impressed with the branding (basic sticker on cup). A decent amount of seating. VERY WARM/HUMID inside though.

We got the mixed soft serve with ube and matcha. One on a cone and a cup. My partner isn’t a fan of matcha, but he wanted to try something new and he liked it despite the strong taste. I love matcha and ended up getting the matcha float also with banana pudding. I noticed other people getting it and decided to get one too! The girlies behind the counter were nice and helped me pick between the soft serve or the latte version and it was a nice taste and presweetened. The service is super fast and the girl working the cashier is nice.

As a visitor from Texas, I was beyond impressed with my experience at Matcha Cafe Maiko. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was welcoming and calming—exactly the kind of environment I look for when I want to relax or get some studying done. The café has a clean, modern aesthetic with a touch of traditional Japanese influence, making it a cozy yet sophisticated spot to enjoy some matcha and unwind. What truly blew me away, however, was the service. The barista was incredibly efficient—my drink was made and handed to me in under 15 seconds. I’ve visited plenty of cafes across the country, and I’ve never seen drinks prepared that quickly without compromising quality. It was clear that the staff is well-trained, professional, and committed to offering the best customer experience possible. The matcha itself was phenomenal. You can instantly taste the difference in quality—they use real, fresh matcha that’s rich, earthy, and smooth without being bitter. I tried the iced matcha latte and a matcha soft serve, and both were perfectly balanced and refreshing. It’s rare to find a place that not only takes pride in the ingredients they use but also serves each drink with precision and care. I also appreciated how quiet and comfortable the space was for studying. There were several people working on laptops, reading, or just enjoying the peaceful vibe, and I can definitely see myself spending a whole afternoon here if I lived nearby. Whether you’re a matcha enthusiast or just someone looking for a peaceful café with top-tier service, Matcha Cafe Maiko is a must-visit. I’m already looking forward to my next trip back, and I’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends and family. I recommend getting the Matcha Latte Float, Strawberry Matcha Latte and Ube Ice Cream Pint!

I recently visited this place for the first time with my son. Since we were new, we ordered a few drinks, dango, and ice cream to try different items from the menu. The food itself was great, but unfortunately, the service left a bad impression. The cashier, a young man, was very polite and friendly, and I have no complaints about him. However, the woman handing out the orders was extremely rude. She called out names for each order, and when ours was ready, I went to pick it up and simply asked why there were only two dango in my order. I had ordered two portions—one for myself and one for my son. She immediately snapped at me, saying that I had only ordered two pieces, not two portions. I politely responded that I thought the portion included three pieces, as shown in the menu picture. Instead of explaining calmly, she rudely told me that the picture was just an image and that I shouldn’t pay attention to it. I still didn’t fully understand, so I asked if two pieces were considered one portion. At that point, she became extremely rude, raising her voice and telling me that if I wanted more, I should just order more. She seemed very irritated and overwhelmed, but that is no excuse for speaking to a customer in such a disrespectful way. I understand that perhaps I misunderstood the portion size, but I asked a simple question in a polite manner and was met with aggression. She was clearly frustrated, but someone with such an attitude should not be working in customer service. The experience left both my son and me feeling very uncomfortable and shocked. Honestly, we have never experienced such terrible customer service anywhere in the U.S. before. It was disappointing, as the food was great, but I don’t think we will be coming back

Google
The matcha soft serve is very good. However the shaved ice has very little toppings (the only toppings are the ones shown in the picture, there’s nothing on the other side) compared to the photo shown in the menu and it used to be.

Google
Match ice cream was good but everything else was not impressive. Worst taiyaki I’ve ever had. People were nice. Kitchen was dirty. Health dept. score was in the 80’s.

Google
Matcha Cafe Maiko is the perfect place for matcha soft serve! The portions are good, a single bowl of soft serve was more than enough for two people. The flavor is delicious and saturated, it didn’t feel watered down or anything. There’s limited parking in front of the shop but plenty of parking in the lot it backs up to.

Yelp
The best matcha soft serve I've ever had. It had a very strong matcha flavor without being too sweet. If you love matcha, you'll absolutely love it. I was very pleasantly surprised by how well the matcha went with brown sugar milk tea. Definitely recommend getting the float, I enjoyed mine so much!! The drinks were out very quickly and the baristas were both so sweet and happy to help. The place is also very cute and has some couches that are comfortable. Even the regular tables are nice and the decor is simple but cozy! 10/10 recommend Maiko if you're a matcha fan, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Hot matcha soy milk latte is usually what I get when I stop by. Drinks are always great along with their sweet treats. If you love matcha then this is the place for you. Service is quick and prompt. Ambiance is a cute small coffee vibes. Parking lot is a bit small so parking can be a hassle.

Yelp
This place was super cute. Very chill great place to sit and do some computer work, meet up with friends, have a cute causal date, or to bring the kiddos. This was my first time trying an ice cream like this. I think the swirl was a mix of Matcha and Thai Iced Tea, both which were lightly sweet which was perfect for me. The ice cream was topped with Mochi balls, red beans, some crunch cereal and I think boba. All really fun to eat and experience if you're into to the bubble tea thing. They had a nice amount of treats to choose from, and the young lady up front was very kind in explaining my options and what to expect! I would definitely come back as it looks like their flavors and options change seasonally.

Yelp
A really cute Japanese dessert cafe. You MUST get the half and half ube/matcha soft serve. Less on sugar and Big on flavor, loved it so much. Service was fantastic as well.

Yelp
This place was a bit hard to find at first. Looks like Doraville could use a bit of remodeling for the entire city. Makes me wonder where all the taxes are being invested into...pavements are uneven and the streets are poorly managed... Anyhow, then you find this golden place among all the ruins. I will be back for more. They have all the authentic exotic flavor that you can think of, and the ice cream is definitely quality. I knew I had to get a pint of the "Black Sesame" and the "Thai Tea" flavored ice cream to go because there aren't any flavors like this where I live. I am so happy that I can find these flavors in the South! Try it out for yourself! I did, and it was AMAZING!

Yelp
Love this place! It's open a little later than other dessert options on Buford Highway so you get a nice after dinner crowd. The soft serve is delectable. They have matcha soft serve all the time and change up the other flavor - it was ube not too long ago (as of 3/10/24) and now it's Sakura (cherry blossom). I got the matcha latte float with both flavors in soft serve. Friend got the float with strawberry lemonade. If you like nutty flavors, the black sesame float is also great. The parking lot in front is super tiny, but you have a larger lot for the plaza behind and would recommend parking back there and walking up to the front. It's a busy area with the popular el rey restaurant in the next plaza and parking is always tough there

Yelp
I finally got to try this place out on my last day in Atlanta. It wasn't busy at night. Employees were pleasant and helpful since the menu was very new to me. The ice cream was not too sweet, just right amount of sweetness. The place was very clean. I liked the decor around the place. Prices weren't too expensive. -shogun with 24 k gold 5/5 - gold flakes have no real taste but it looks pretty for the pictures. -maiko special 5/5 - shiratama (mochi ball), soft serve, agar jelly with kuromitsu, Japanese chestnut, matcha sponge cake, adzuki red bean, and cornflakes.

Yelp
cute spot to hangout with friends and get photo ops! The staff is super sweet and understanding about it being your first time! I personally don't like matcha but the matcha i've cream was sooo good.

Yelp
Cafe Maiko has been on my list for a long while. Stopped by on Saturday (check hours before you plan to stop by, they dont open until 1PM on weekends). The cafe serves everything Match (hot drinks, cold drinks, cakes, soft serve). I tried the soft serve, matcha latte. Unfortunately they were out of the Matcha cake. The drinks were alright, the matcha was powdery and didnt seem good quality (for the price $$). Also the boba was bad (not fresh at all). The soft serve was fine. Decent service. Park behind the store (in the complex). Limited parking by the store. A bit price IMO.

Yelp
Super cute and cozy place for dessert! Got the shaved ice with matcha/vanilla swirl on top and it hit the spot after lunch. So refreshing and not too sweet!! Huge portions for a reasonable price; 2-3 people could share one. There's a cute traditional elevated floor seating area near the front that's shoes-off as well. Love the minimalistic decor with surprisingly lots of sunlight coming in. I'll definitely come back for the matcha soft serve cones!!

Yelp
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!! My go-to icecream spot. Whenever they serve their thai tea icecream, I HAVE to stop by. A tiny little shop on buford highway but it's definitely worth the visit. I also love getting their pints that they keep in their freezer up front. Durian, Thai tea, Ube, and Matcha, are my favorite flavors. The ube latte was alright, i got it with oatmilk and the oat flavor overpowered the ube taste. But i'm sure it's delicious with regular milk. 10/10 recommend. Amazing and quick service. Sign up for their rewards too!!!!

Yelp
I just got the matcha soft serve , it's like $6 and it's pretty affordable, good quality soft serve, matcha flavor is strong but not too overpowering at all cuz it's also sweet. Very cute place to sit and get some work done !

Yelp
Found the cutest matcha spot on instagram I'm obsessed. The matcha was perfect the way it came I wasn't disappointed. The 2 employees there let me take as long as I needed while ordered I didn't feel rushed. I also got to try a knew snack :)

Yelp
If you're a matcha lover like my mom and I, this place is a MUST! She ordered the matcha frappe and I ordered a strawberry iced matcha latte, which was actually a recommendation by an employee! Both were so delicious! The interior was also very neat and clean, it has a nice green warm vibe to it. It is a small location, but very cozy and there weren't too many people. They also have some cake and ice cream which I'll come back and try another day! Overall 10/10 for service, environment, and drinks.

Yelp
A cute cafe with so many matcha selections. I had to try the iced unsweetened matcha tea ($5 for a medium) to taste their matcha base. It's good, not the best quality I've had, but still great for a place with so many matcha varieties. Inside you will find various table seatings. Most seatings are meant for two people or less. Two bench tables are in the corner that could fit four people. The place is on a small triangle lot, and not the plaza behind it. Had to take a closer look when my map told me I arrived but I clearly wasn't at the storefront.

Yelp
I have been frequenting this cafe for years since they have opened. I am never disappointed by the fast service. Their new menu items are always exciting. I have brought many, many people here for dessert and almost every single person has loved it! They have a great setup of chairs and tables, optimal for socializing! I love the green decorations.

Yelp
Excellent service and quality of desserts but the ambiance isn't as good as the Duluth location

Yelp
Love this cute matcha cafe! We had the matcha and Ube soft serve swirl and it was so SO good. The aesthetic of the ice cream and the cafe was amazing. Our order was taken quickly and the ice cream was made before we even finished paying. We would've grabbed some of the tubbed ice creams if we weren't flying home
google avatar

Yelp
I love all things matcha, and if you do too, this is the place for you! The matcha flavor is very apparent in the drinks and desserts here which I love. I hate when the matcha flavor barely comes through. The soft serve is so creamy and the mochi and red bean go with it so well. The Thai tea was also really good, and im usually a bit picky about Thai tea. One tip: make sure to go earlier in the day if you want any of their desserts like the mille crepe cakes and the shaved ice because it runs out fast. My only complaint is that if you add a topping, say mochi, to a drink, you only get one. I expected at least a few inside, but they really just put one mochi on a stick and put it in the cup.
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
We ordered the Maiko Special with matcha and thai tea swirl. The dessert was tasty - loved all the little toppings that are included because each bite was a little different texturally which was nice. However, at nearly $10, it's more than I'd prefer to pay. Service was quick and the cafe was cute, simple, and clean. Glad to have tried the this place.

Yelp
I went this past week to try the MSR sundae special. It seems there's some sort of sewage leak at the store... it smelled similar to the issues tea house Formosa and Cuckoo's cafe experience. If it wasn't for that I think I would round up my 3.5 to a 4 but the smell just wasn't great and I didn't want to eat in the car and make a mess. I thought this sundae was pretty good although the proportions could have been better with the fresh mango which was very good. There was a lot of mango soft serve ice cream which was a nice surprise compared to the promo marketing image. The sundae was $8.99 which for the amount of mango seems expensive to me but who knows nowadays in this high inflationary environment. I'm glad I tried it but wont be stopping in for it again. Next time I stop by it'll be for the standard matcha soft serve
google avatar

Jessica S.

Yelp
Cute dessert spot in Duluth! The matcha soft serve was great quality. The shaved ice was not as smooth as I'd like, but still pretty good. Do be warned that the shaved ice doesn't look like it does on the menu and it's HUGE! My friend and I shared one and we only finished half. I am excited to come back and try out other things on the menu!
google avatar

Mary Beth L.

Yelp
There is something undeniably sophisticated about a cafe dedicated entirely to matcha. This place does not disappoint. Read about the garden where the matcha comes from on the website...it's a good lure. The green tea soft serve is so richly flavored and yummy that you begin to wonder why you can't get it on every streetcorner. My 6 y/o took to the ube soft serve, with a seasonally appropriate purple hue, like it was her favorite flavor...move over cookie dough. The ginger yuzu matcha will become my favorite "I'm coming down with something" restorative drink...balanced and pungent with just enough pulp to assure authenticity. The parking lot is tight so go when its not busy...but go, it's great.
google avatar

Yelp
Had to stop by since loving the Orlando location but unfortunately learned that different locations serve different things. This location sadly doesn't offer foams for their drinks. I tried their brown sugar matcha latte. Tried to get regular boba but they didn't have regular boba so opted for crystal boba. It was ok since it doesn't offer the chewy texture like regular boba. It was sad and underwhelming.
google avatar

Carlie M.

Yelp
Came here to get a dessert the other day. The staff was really friendly! It wasn't too crowded when I came in. It was a Tuesday evening. I got the maiko special. I got it with the twist - so it was matcha soft serve and taro soft serve. It was pretty pricey but the ice cream was so tasty! They have had pints to go. A fun place to try. I'd like to return to try one of the matcha drinks as well.
google avatar

Tanni D.

Yelp
The desserts here are pricey, but the ice creams are worth it! I love the Ube and Matcha Soft Serve Ice Creams. This time, I also tried the Dango (rice flour dumplings), and I couldn't finish it; it had no taste. I'll never order that again, but I'm excited to try the other flavored ice creams next time.
google avatar

Marilou E.

Yelp
We always come here to try different types of soft serve flavored ice cream so today they had Ube and Matcha and It was a perfect combination. I really enjoyed it. There are no Vanilla or chocolate flavor soft serve - for ones who want to order on the more subtle flavors. I believe they only have two flavors every week or monthly. As I mentioned before you have to like Matcha and Ube flavor to like this, but if you do, this is definitely a hit! As far as the service it was really packed, and this time my ice cream seem to be on the softer side, It actually tilted and almost fell over. I had to catch it with my hand. The cashier at the front provided "ehhhhh" service not as friendly like my first time coming here. maybe because they were so busy but I didn't really care for her that much. But still give a 5 star.
google avatar

Mick D.

Yelp
If you like Matcha flavored ice cream, you're going to go home happy. I am simply not a fan of matcha. However, my wife is a huge fan of all things matcha, and she was making all the right happy noises when she devoured her cone of matcha ice cream. It disappeared. It was like watching Godzilla taking out Tokyo. I tried the seasonal flavor--pineapple, and I found it disappointing. The flavor was right, but the texture was wrong. BUT this won't stop me from taking my wife here for more matcha soft-serve. And I'll surely be trying the other seasonal flavors, or maybe some of the drinks, which look reallly good, too.
google avatar

Georgia K.

Yelp
After another visit and comparing it to matcha elsewhere, the matcha quality here is unbeatable. The service here has improved immensely over the years and the menu has expanded to include snack foods and a matcha or ube mille crepe cake. They also sell ice cream as a takeaway in various flavors including durian, Thai tea, matcha, Sakura, and Ube.
google avatar

Jonathan K.

Yelp
This place is solid! I am a huge fan of matcha and I would pick that over coffee any time. But a place that also serves matcha desserts? Let's goooo. The place basically serves soft serves, shaved ice, and drinks. The flavor profiles of their desserts are limited to just matcha, ube, and vanilla. However if you are a matcha die hard like me, that's all you need. I had the matcha soft serve with shaved ice and also tried the ube soft serve. Let me just tell you, their matcha and ube are definitely concentrated. The flavors are on point. The matcha gives a slightly bitter kick, but not overwhelming as you can still savor the sweetness. Parking is relatively easy as there are parking lots around the cafe left and right. I am definitely returning here next time with an ice chest to stock up on their pints of ice cream to take home with me.
google avatar

Stacey K.

Yelp
The seasonal soft serve was amazing! It was a blend of their matcha soft serve and the Sakura cherry blossom flavor. I really liked this dessert because like many other Asian desserts, it's not overly sweet. It's sweet enough and mild on flavor but still really good. I liked the Sakura flavor much more than the matcha one. There's no wait here either and things came out pretty quick. The interior looks nice and very clean. The parking situation here is kind of sketchy though. There's a small parking lot and the surrounding areas look a little sketchy. Probably would recommend going here during the day. The theme here is centered around matcha, so clearly if you don't like matcha flavor, you probably won't like any of the desserts. But if you do, then you've hit the jackpot.
google avatar

K8 D.

Yelp
Love this cute little cafe. Interior is honestly so cute, the wooden tables and comfy cushions. I always order the ube soft serve and it's so good. The vibrant purple color of the ice cream is creamy and smooth. It's slightly sweet and the ube always comes out. The cone is crispy and sweet, and it's very thin, which I like. Although the cafe has a small menu, all the items are delicious! I would recommend this place!
google avatar

Draco L.

Yelp
I came here late at night with a group of friends. The inside was very well decorated, I loved all the plants and the cute plushies by the door. I was going to get the Sakura seasonal flavor but unfortunately it was only at their other location in Duluth so instead I got matcha. It was my first time having matcha soft serve and it tasted great. I got the gold leaf on my soft serve because I was feeling extra and I wanted to get the experience. As expected it didn't have any taste but it looked pretty! I tried some of my friends float with the seasonal strawberry flavor and as someone that loves strawberry flavors it made me regret not choosing to get half matcha half strawberry. Next time I come here I will definitely try their seasonal flavor mixed with matcha!
google avatar

Kyja W.

Yelp
In May, I came here for the first time with a friend who recommended it! Ever since, I've been dying to go back. Before ordering, I tried the durian soft serve which was yummy. The service was kind and helpful. I thought about getting the shaved ice (matcha), but since my friend had already ordered for herself, I decided it would be too large for just me. I want to bring my boyfriend soon so we can share it! Instead, I ended up getting the Maiko Special (Matcha) which was so yummy. The restaurant is clean and peaceful.
google avatar

Wendy B.

Yelp
If you are a matcha lover like me you will LOVE this place. Coming here was like a dream the service is great and the matcha tastes stupendous. I prefer this location over the other location as it is less cluttered and less busy.
google avatar

Julie K.

Yelp
Great cafe with variety in drinks and desserts. Love how they always switch up their flavors but also have menu items that are consistent so you can have more options and try new flavors!
google avatar

Allison K.

Yelp
This place's matcha soft serve is unrivaled. The matcha flavor really shines through. The sakura (seasonal flavor) tasted much like strawberry ice cream but was still pleasant. I would recommend the Maiko Special - it is a pretty authentic snapshot of your typical dessert parfait you might find in Japan. When I ate it, it reminded me of the parfaits I tried in Japan many years ago.
google avatar

Lisa N.

Yelp
Great little place. Friendly staff. The treats are super yummy. The matcha was very matcha and its a great place for the people who love matcha.
google avatar

Ishara F.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the Matcha tiramisu! It was so so sooo tasty and moist. I almost liked it better than the traditional tiramisu. The black sesame seeds latte was very nice as well, not too sweet. The brown sugar matcha latte was good too but I did not like the boba in it. It tasted like plastic or silicon. The cookies were pretty good too. Good flavor. I think there are a lot of interesting things to try here like the durian ice cream, ube crepe cake slice, and gold leaf matcha soft serve! Cannot wait to go back. ~Gyoza was good too!
google avatar

Ana N.

Yelp
I've been to this matcha maiko location a couple of times and overall, it's a cute place to grab a quick dessert and hang out with friends. I typically get their mix matcha soft serves as they have seasonal flavors to try. Sometimes it's very good, sometimes it's just okay. I've also tried their floats before and it was decent as well. One reason I did take a star off however, is because the seating areas can be messy when it gets busy.
google avatar

Rebecca K.

Yelp
This chain is one of my favorite places to get matcha desserts, so I was ecstatic to find one here. My fiancé and I ordered the Maiko special to share. It included: matcha soft serve, mochi balls, Japanese chestnut, matcha sponge cake, red bean, cornflakes, and agar jelly. The matcha soft serve was rich in flavor and tasted amazing. All of the toppings were delicious as well, aside from maybe the agar jelly, which I am not typically a fan of in general. I have not tried any of their other soft serve flavors or desserts, but I definitely have those on my list!
google avatar

Ariel B.

Yelp
Listen I pulled up to this unassuming match ice cream spot not expecting much but was so very impressed. The outside isn't much but the interior of the place was bright, clean, and inviting. The nice young lady behind the counter recommended the matcha/vanilla swirl and it was delicious. The taste of the matcha was delicious ! It tasted amazing with vanilla. I was impressed with how quality this matcha tasted. And for about $5 it was definitely worth it.
google avatar

Julina K.

Yelp
If you're a matcha fan- this is the place for you. Tried the gold matcha ice cream -the gold is just for looks and cost more. The cup of matcha was the perfect size and the toppings paired well with it. The shaved ice wasn't our favorite, it's pretty big too. Was a bit disappointed because they were out of all the other flavors we wanted. We'll definitely be back if we're back in Atlanta and hopefully they won't be out of anything next time.
google avatar

Sarena T.

Yelp
I love Matcha Maiko! The interior is very nice and well-themed. The menu choices were a bit overwhelming for a first-timer: there are lots of options from drinks to soft serve to floats. I just ended up going with a classic, the Maiko Special ($7.80 at the time). I enjoyed this mix of flavors and textures, especially the matcha cake they added in with the ice cream. I'm definitely looking forward to coming again, and happy that they opened a location in Duluth which is closer to where I'm located!
google avatar

Xinyi Z.

Yelp
This place is so adorable and has a great selection of everything matcha. I was feeling extra so I got the Golden Shogun soft serve which came with gold leaf lol. The texture was very rich and creamy and actually reminded me of the soft serve I had in Japan. I also tried one of their Hojicha teas but I didn't like it cause it was too bitter but my boyfriend ended up enjoying it. If you're a matcha lover, definitely check this place out!

Yelp
The matcha and hokkaido soft serve has got to be one of my top combinations! The flavors were perfect. The hokkaido had a not too sweet caramel flavor while the matcha was not bitter and very fragrant. Cutting a cup will get you more than a cone, but it is the same price. I highly recommend if you like matcha!

Yelp
The ice cream is great! I think a bit overpriced, but definitely worth a try. Ube ice cream is best. The place smells a bit though because of the proximity to sewage...

Yelp
I love me some Matcha Maiko!! I've been here more than enough times especially to try their seasonal flavors! As a big matcha lover, it just hits the spot. Matcha Maiko is a small-medium sized location with both indoor and outdoor seating (2 tables outside). The parking lot for Matcha Maiko is very small with only 4-6 parking spots, but I have always found it much easier to park in their free back parking lot shared with another strip mall. Today, I ordered the Matcha & Milk Tea (seasonal flavor) Cone ($5.50) and the Milk Tea flavor was spot on! The soft serve did look pretty melty as soon as it came out of the machine and was handed to me which I found odd as it hasn't been that consistency/look the other times I have been here. My friend also agreed with me, but every place has it's off days. As this place sets you back ~$6 for a soft serve cone, it is kinda steep and it's not a place I frequent often. Their seasonal flavors are what really draw me back in!

Yelp
I've come here a couple of times but I went when they were doing the squid game promo. They had the dalgona cookie and flavored ice cream to match. This place tries out new flavors frequently and they are always tasty. There's seating inside and a little bit outside as well. There are a couple of parking spots in front of the place, but if it's full you can park in the lot behind the place as well.

Yelp
I got the matcha/ube soft serve with the gold foil and it was so good!! Definitely was a bit pricier than I expected but is worth once in a while. The menu includes lattes and other drinks, soft serve, and has ube and other flavors available as well. Definitely worth a visit!
