The 38 Best Restaurants in Lima | Eater

"Chef Arlette Eulert’s restaurant boasts Peruvian and organic ingredients that change according to the seasons, and her menu is one of few in town to specify dishes that are gluten or lactose free, vegan, or vegetarian. The chef puts spins on classic dishes like tiradito — adding popped quinoa for crunchiness and salsa-like chalaquita with roe — and she loves to mix Indian and Thai spices into dishes like grilled scallops with curry or the catch of the day in a sauce of coconut milk and yellow curry. Leave space for dessert and order the shareable alfajor (layers of cookies and dulce de leche, locally called manjar blanco). You won’t regret it. [$$$]" - Liliana López Sorzano

We loved our meal here! So yummy! Our waiter was really nice and gave us lots of good recommendations such as the scallops in yuzu sauce.

The restaurant was okay overall. I ordered a fish, which came deep fried even though neither the menu nor the server mentioned it would be. The portion was decent for an appetizer, but the dish itself wasn’t very memorable. The octopus however was excellent. easily a 9/10 if you enjoy octopus with a sweet style sauce. The maracuya “juice” was disappointing, about 80% ice and tasting more like lightly flavored water than real juice. Service was so so. Despite the restaurant only having a few occupied tables and several servers standing around I had to wait many times to get attention. The servers also never asked if I liked the food or if anything was wrong. The menu seems hit or miss. The table next to me say they really enjoyed their food.

We had the tasting menu and couldn’t be happier. All dishes were amazing, loved the ceviche, the scallop and the beef cheeks. Dessert was art and the overall experience we couldn’t falter. Pisco sour was on point and we shared a bottle of local Peru wine, delicious! Can’t recommend enough z

The food is good, fairly innovative actually, and its a good place to share dishes. But its also expensive so quality needs to be like this… poor wine list. Sad that this place has 0 ambience, music is loud and kind of does not fit. Terrace is not inviting. Inside is kind of dark and for that hour of day there were basically no people. Staff too complicated which probably not their fault… For a place of this price should be more flexible in order taking... Don’t think i will return.

Absolutely outstanding restaurant! The food is amazing and compared to many of the upscale restaurants in Lima great value for money! The scallops were the best we ever had. Staff is also very friendly. Highly recommend the place for anyone looking for great Peruvian food - particularly seafood

We came here for dinner the other day and we had overall a good experience. Although the menu is not very extensive, has many interesting items. What we ordered it was spot on. The meat and the mashed potato were amazing. What impressed us were the cocktails. Not only nice decorated but also they had a good amount of alcohol in them. I decided to give 4 stars and not give for the service. Our server was hard to come by and not particularly busy. In fact we got a better communication from another server who was very busy but was able to help us out, as we were waiting for a while now. To be honest if was not for this other server the service would have been much worst. If you share in my luck, then come prepared with patience, the food is worth the wait.

We really loved one of the dishes - the parihuela - aromatic and well balanced! The other one - catch of the day - a bit bland, it was missing a kick to make it memorable ( the fish was well cooked though). Nice touch with the bread and butter. Shared the scallops as a starter - delicious although they were a bit smaller than expected. Fairly expensive compared to other places.

Great place to dine in. Food, service are excellent. We went there at a Friday night, due to national holiday the place is less crowded than most of the time. All sea food plates we ordered are delicious. The small bread is extraordinary, it’s made from a kind of purple potato, tastes a hint of sweetness, combined with house made flavored butter, no one can resist!
