This small family-run restaurant seats 6 and is the best kept secret in Akihabara. The menu is simple and the chef is amazing.

The vibes here are real. The owner and his wife is the 3rd gen sushi owner, while the son is currently learning his trait. Don’t expect fancy sushi. It’s really just decent neighborhood sushi for the soul. Slightly on the pricey side, but really a gem that we found

Just a delightful experience from beginning to end. A tiny venue - we had the pleasure of enjoying the chefs sashimi selection. Everything was delicious, fresh and served with kind hearted and warm hosts.

Went to Matsuyama sushi last summer with girlfriend and another couple. The owners were welcoming and the place very cosy. It was fun to have a chat with local costumers. Sushi was high quality and prepared like an artwork. I also had the best miso soup I ever tasted. Recommended

It was amazing. It felt so cozy, like walking into the kitchen of old friends. The food itself is very well balanced; you feel every taste that should be in your mouth at that moment. I would especially like to note the eel and the amount of wasabi, which was perfectly selected for each individual piece. Thank you 👍🏽

My first sushi experience in Japan and what an experience. The service was incredible and I loved how friendly they were. Teaching us fish names in Japanese, good laughs and great fresh sushi!!!

Cute little restaurant. Very nice and friendly family run business. The sushi set is reasonable priced, but quality of the sushi is definitely nowhere near 5 star review. We were attracted to this place by its 4.9 review, so we were a little disappointed by the quality of the food.

One of the best experiences we had during our stay in Japan. The sushi (chef's choice) is excellent quality, one of the best you will find in Tokyo for a reasonable price. What makes this place special is the people and atmosphere: they make you feel at their home. Highly recommended!

As much as I hate the word this will probably be the most authentic Japanese experience I will ever have. The place is small but feels like the most welcoming Japanese home. The food is simply god-sent and the host is an artist more than a sushi chef. What complemented our experience were the very friendly locals with whom we’ve exchanged culture shock stories and made them laugh with our lack of chopsticks skills, Japanese table manners and especially our request for a vegetarian option. If you are in the area and can get a spot please visit!
