Where To Drink Wine In Woodinville

"You could burst into most of the wineries on this list wearing jeans and a tie-dye t-shirt ready to glug. But Matthews is the kind of place where we recommend dressing up and being on your best behavior. The tasting room has an elegant black-and-white aesthetic, flowers on every table, and those modern sliding barn doors that signify luxury. Drinking on a picnic table out on the lawn here is quite enjoyable, especially equipped with snacks you can buy on-site." - aimee rizzo

Matthews Winery Review - Woodinville - Seattle - The Infatuation

"You could enter most of the Woodinville wineries in jeans and a tie-dye t-shirt. But Matthews is the kind of place where we recommend dressing up. The tasting room has an elegant black-and-white aesthetic, flowers on every table, and those modern sliding barn doors that everyone’s doing now. We like drinking on a picnic table out on the lawn here, equipped with snacks you can buy on-site as well as bottles of rose and claret. And yeah, we’re going to buy a baguette too, but we’ll cut in slices." - Aimee Rizzo

We received our certification from the auction several years ago, and Matthew welcomed us with open arms, without any conditions whatsoever. We were taken care of by Nadine, who is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced in wine and hospitality. There was never any pressure regarding time, and Nadine made us feel truly lucky to have visited and met her today. The setting here is naturally beautiful, with plenty of seating options both indoors and outdoors. The air conditioning keeps things cool and comfortable. Outside, the garden area has space where children can run and play while their parents sip wine and enjoy conversations. Sunset here is absolutely breathtaking! While the focus isn’t on dining, they do offer Beecher’s cheese and olives, which pair wonderfully with their smooth and exquisite wines. This place is simply fantastic!

My boyfriend and I visited Matthews without a reservation on a Friday afternoon. The staff were kind and accommodating. Jackson took care of us and was so welcoming and knowledgeable. He was such a great server!!! We sat on the patio and enjoyed the wine flight option. The grounds are beautiful and we saw a lot of families with children. We will definitely be back again.

Google
Great place to celebrate with a diverse selection of wines. Good location. Staff is friendly. They can seat a max of 10 people. You can bring your own food. P.S Jaine winery is now part of Mathews

Google
Beautiful venue, horrible service. We were "greeted" today by a VERY unfriendly gentleman who proceeded to completely ignore us for 20 minutes after we sat down. We left. Far too many options in Woodinville with good wine and who actually want your business.

Ai Nakayama-Tran

Google
The location and grounds were gorgeous, but the service was awful, from start to finish. Our friends wre members, and have been for nearly 10 years, but we (including them) were basically ignored any time we went to the bar to order bottles and/or to pay for food. Staff would either make eye contact and not ask if we'd been helped, or just not acknowledge us at all. It was very strange and uncomfortable. We are wibe members at other wineries here, as well as in Leavenworth and Chelan, but after today, would never consider or recommend Matthews. Bummer.

Google
Absolutely disappointed with the service. We went for a wine tasting on Tuesday afternoon with a friends visiting from Europe. At the bat they told us to pick a table and someone will be with us shortly, 40 min later we were still waiting. We called the lady going around two times before she actually brought the menu. We waited another 20 min to order. The first glasses were delivered without explaining which wine it is. No water was served, we asked twice, then Jen explained to us that there is filtered water on the side we can serve ourselves. The last 3 glasses we served all together with confusing explanations. Jen, the lady taking care of us started explaining how busy they were and she is sorry that she forgot about us..... They were not busy at all, a total of 6 tables with us. At the end they gave us 2 free wine tastings for the inconvenience, that was nice but absolutely not the experience we were looking for. Very inconsistent and chaotic service. Deeply disappointed.

Google
Unfortunately, one of the most bizarre customer service experiences we've ever had. We were invited by friends—several of whom are members—for what was meant to be a casual afternoon tasting. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the hostess, handed a glass of wine, and seated with our group. Within minutes of sitting down and ordering a flight, a manager approached us in an unexpectedly aggressive tone, accusing us of moving tables and switching seats, which was simply untrue. We had just arrived and were seated exactly as directed. When we clarified this and suggested he check with his staff, he doubled down, implying we were being dishonest. It was uncomfortable, unnecessary, and baffling—especially considering the tasting room was nearly empty and the group was calm, with children quietly occupied. Our group chose to leave, and several members have since canceled their memberships. There are so many great, welcoming wineries in Woodinville—this just isn't one we’ll return to or recommend, particularly for families or larger parties.

Google
The wine is good no doubt about it, maybe a bit pricey. Have come here over the years but we had the most insulting and lazy staff at the winery and that just ruins your date with your wife. There are many other good wineries around with much nicer service!

Yelp
I recently joined the Jaine wine club because I really like their wines. When you join one of the clubs to receive an allocation, you have access to all of their brands at member discounts (Matthews, Tenor, Blackboard, Jaine and Single Barrel). They're all excellent! Plus they have a generous number of complimentary tastings for members. The people who work there are very knowledgeable and extremely pleasant to chat with. I really like the vibe! Happy I became a member!

Yelp
First time tasting here! Wow! First, all the wines are fantastic (that we tried). All the servers were friendly and knowledgeable. Everything is clean and comfortable. Not stuffy Love!

Yelp
Recently, I took my husband to Matthews Winery which I was really excited about because he doesn't drink wine and I love it. Our server, Nadine immediately went to work taking the time to ask my husband what kinds of spirits he enjoys, drilling down to the fine details of what flavor profiles he enjoys most. I could see right away that she was going to do everything she could to find a wine match to suit his palate. Nadine crafted a tasting to suit my husband's experience and ultimately made an incredible immersive afternoon tasting! My husband DID find some wines he thoroughly enjoyed- to my delight and his surprise but remains a spirit drinker :) I've been part of the wine world and service industry for years and find that these kinds of experiences are rare. Nadine's service was exceptional that afternoon, but I will say that in general the staff at Matthews are all very knowledgeable and you can tell they love what they do and love where they work. In all, Matthews is not just another Woodinville winery, but an experience that will leave you wanting to come back again and again for incredible wines and service that makes you feel like you are part of the wine family.

Yelp
Matthew's winery has a great tasting experience its wonderful wines. Charcuterie type Snacks are for sale from the cooler and snack bar. We enjoyed a fantastic jazz duo of brothers playing Christmas music.
google avatar

Rebecca Q.

Yelp
Really good wines and huge selection of tastings (with the option to mix and match between their Tenor, Matthews, and Jaine collection). No sommelier to walk you through each pour so it's a little less intimate, but the cards that come with each wine make things efficient and provide lots of information. Really loved the grenache, cuvée, and cab franc!
google avatar

LB C.

Yelp
popped in for an impromptu tasting and was delighted with the experience! Tasted their 21 reserve sauv blanc, Tenor Grenache, reserve cab franc and reserve merlot to name a few and loved the grouping. Knowledgeable and friendly this would be great for a 1st date or out with friends!

Christyn J.

Yelp
We joined Matthews through an auction win initially, but continued our membership once that option ended. The wines are amazing and the events with the winemakers are great. Jackson is our favorite server and the experience of the reserve wines is top notch.

Yelp
Love the wine! Love the location, grounds and beautiful views. I was surprised when I walked in, went to the tasting counter, and wanted to buy a bottle of wine to enjoy on the property. I asked Mark if they had a Malbec. He scoffed and said no. I then asked about the various red wines and he asked me about my budget. I said "I'm not sure $30-40". He scoffs again and said "we have nothing at that price". I felt so insulted. We sampled two red wines and bought what I liked, and he made sure to point out it was their cheapest. That made me feel embarrassed because other people, at the bar, were listening.. it was awkward and unnecessary. Love the place but... the way I was treated will make me think twice about going back. I wanted to leave but our friends were already outside on the lawn. While checking out, with him holding his iPad, I felt pressured to hit 15% tip, but I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon despite the yummy wine and beautiful locale. It sounds like, from the other reviews, there have been numerous similar experiences here.

Yelp
That patio!!! On a sunny day, nothing like tasting amazing wine on a green lawn chair. I love that is open seating so you can arrange the chairs depending on your group. Can't wait to go back soon!

Yelp
When making a reservation here for a tasting, one of the features I was looking for was a dog-friendly winery and this place appeared on a few lists as dog friendly. When we checked in, however, we were told that only the lawn area was dog-friendly, but you cannot do a tasting on the lawn. You could, however, buy a bottle and bring it out to the lawn. That wasn't exactly what we were hoping to hear, but we made it work. Some pros about this place, they have a really nice outdoor area, including a garden, and the outdoor areas were well spaced for social distancing. Some of the outdoor areas have an umbrella, some do not. There is also an igloo, but I'm not sure what the story is with that (does it require a different reservation? is it first come first serve? no idea!). You are allowed to bring outside food, so we stopped for bbq and snacked and hung out. We had a nice time on the lawn but I don't think there is any service on the lawn, so you'll need to go inside (without your dog) if you need anything. Most importantly, the wines are delicious and this is a great place to sit outside in nice weather. Good find!
google avatar

Yelp
We loved this place. It's slightly off the beaten path, but had a whole 'lawn' area that was free to meld as you wished. The wine was also solid. I'm wish we could have stayed longer to do a full tasting. Dogs were also welcomed.
google avatar

Yelp
An amazing setting for wine with loved ones! I'm a little appalled that I've never been there before??? We came as the second stop to celebrate our friend's' engagement and it was a great experience. They have indoor seating, patio seating, grassy area seating, picnic tables, and woodsy-seating. Lots of surrounding trees and friendly staff are the cherry on top. Laid back, welcoming, they allow dogs and outside food in. 10/10! Clearly, I was surprised and impressed by the size of the property and I have it on my list for next summer!

Yelp
Amazing winery, first the grounds are gorgeous. The tasting room itself is very upscale and chic. The wine was my favorite in Woodinville. The service was amazing, I was recommended this place at their sister brand (Jane's cottage), so I decided to swing by and I was not disappointed. I had to sign up for their wine club.

Yelp
Really enjoyed my visit to Matthew's Winery. I went in October 2020 so during the COVID pandemic. They have a lot of appropriately distanced tables outside on their nicely appointed patio. A water station was provided so patrons could fill up as needed. Wine tastings are only $15 for four wines of your choice, including the reserve wines. What a bargain! I went for the 2017 Claret, 2016 Tenor Sauvignon Blanc, 2016 Tenor Cabernet Sauvignon, and the 2016 Tenor Syrah. All were tasty. I'm looking forward to trying each of the long-list of wine available at some point soon. To make the tasting experience even better, the property has gardens available that you can walk through. I'm a fan of dahlias and they were fortunately in bloom during my visit. It was a good day.

Yelp
My fiancé and I went for wine tasting. It's was all very nice and tasty! Jen our server did a great job at explaining every little detail about wine and I was very impressed. She definitely made our experience soo much better. Very nice view and lovely indoor seating. They also have a self serve snack bar to pair your wine with, which helped a lot. Over all it was a great experience!

Yelp
It's such a wonderful place You got a couple of wine selections here You got welcome glass to start Then it will be four glasses for $20 tasting If you buy a bottle It is refundable for the tasting The atmosphere is really something I enjoy the most. It was lovely and cozy

Pam M.

Yelp
Service was very, very slow. We waited at least 20 min to get water. Then another 10 to find out their process. Food is in a refrigerator where you choose what you want. No explanation of what we were being poured other than the name. As a person who enjoys tasting different wines and going to my tried a true wineries, I was very disappointed. There were at least 4 servers and another I'm not sure what his job was. There were probably 6 tables occupied. One gentleman left as he waited over 20 min to place his order for a specific glass of wine. Then left as he didn't ever get his glass of wine. Quaint and lovely location.

Yelp
Went in for my first ever wine tasting yesterday and the staff was so friendly and incredible! Our server Haley helped my friend and I out so much by having a genuine interest in the flavor profiles of the wines that we had liked and picking amazing recommendations for both the Matthew's menu and the Jaine flight. 10/10 would come again :)

Phillip L.

Yelp
Great wine and Ambiance! Friendly staff but Paying $195/bottle for their wine is just a bit absurd!
google avatar

Julie h.

Yelp
This was my first stop on my wine tour for the day. It was super simple to make a reservation online ahead of time. The tasting was $15 for 4 wines of your choosing. They pour them one by one and you have to wait for them to come around for the next one. However the staff was very conscious on looking over when both of us were done to come by to pour again. Really liked the Jane rose and this stop was my favorite place out of the handful we went to. There's a bunch of fresh flowers in a garden by the parking area which was beautiful to see.

Yelp
We recently visited from Bellevue for a wine tasting. We had heard really good things so we were very excited to try! We chose the reserve tastings and loved the wine! Unfortunately, the service was not the best. When we first walked in it took about 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and the service was very cold. The woman pouring our wine was fine but really didn't engage with us much or take the time to explain the wine in detail. We would have loved to know more, especially since it was our first time in. Hopefully next time we have a better experience.

Yelp
If you like Bordeaux style wines, Matthews Winery is the place to check out in Woodinville. I visited Matthews Winery for a gal's day of wine tasting and this was our first stop. It was absolutely splendid, and of all the wineries we visited, Matthews was by far, my favorite. Since we had a large group, a reservation was made, so had a long table to ourselves in the center of the tasting room. Matthews Winery was easy to find, as it's off of 140th and is secluded. With that said, there was plenty of parking in its lot. The setting was nice. It's in a farmhouse that the tasting room is located in, which was welcoming and cozy. I loved that for the holiday season, there were potted poinsettias on every table. When we walked in, we were warmly greeted by an employee who told us about the tasting room and gave us a complimentary sample of the last of the rose that they had from the summer season. We were then directed to our table, and another employee gave us a brief introductory to the company and wines. For a $15 tasting, you get four samples of any of the wines from the menu. Of all the wines I tasted, I absolutely loved the 2016 reserved claret. As a red wine drinker, the claret was bold, a little smoky and had a velvet finish. I also had the claret, which was my second favorite, and seemed to be THE wine to have at Matthews Winery. I would definitely recommend visiting Matthews Winery if you're a Bordeaux fan. Employees were very friendly. The setting was inviting, as they allow dogs and allow you to provide your own food. And the wines were memorable and bold. I'm glad I was able to find a winery, featuring Bordeaux-style wines in Woodinville.

Barry K.

Yelp
I am hesitant to give this a 3 because the wines are better than that as is the setting and people there. The main reason for the 3 is that while the wines are good they are not worth the price being charged. I would like to go here more because they do have a nice selection and tasty wines but I can't pay the prices for their wine when I know there are better wines for less. Sounds harsh- but if you want to enjoy a good selection, nice wines, and a fun tasting experience, this is a good place. I wouldn't recommend buying here unless you're good with high priced wine but I would say it should be tried at least once because they do have some tasty wine.
google avatar

Matt G.

Yelp
What an amazing experience. Exceptional quality Washington wines, paired with exceptional service. John made us feel right at home, answered all of our questions, and taught us a few things about the Matthews wine making process.
google avatar

Tammy E.

Yelp
They are off the main circle by 1/4-1/2 mile and are far enough away from the busy traffic circle to have some independence from the myriad of wineries all bunched together. Our friends are wine club members here so they treated us to a tasting inside followed by opening up some of their wine club wines out behind the tent and on the woodchips out back where tables are setup (some with umbrellas!) People were able to bring children and dogs to enjoy the beautiful sunny afternoon! My smart friends brought out their charcuterie kit and soon we were having a delightful wine, cheese, veggies, and fruit kind of afternoon - you could have fooled me into thinking we were in the countryside somewhere! It was really a lovely time in a well thought out open air space behind the winery. Good on them for setting this all up! As for the wines - I loved every single Jaine wine (one of their lines) I tried -- next up I need to visit the Jaine Cottage tasting room another 1/4 mile away - great wines at great prices...what could be better? Oh parking was plentiful here as well and they have a nice tented area and outdoor bar where you can order bottles if you're going to enjoy the back area. Love this setup!
google avatar

Molinda K.

Yelp
Friendly staff and service! We came in and they gave us a complimentary glass of Sauvignon Blanc! Very crisp and refreshing on a low 70's fall day. Our other favorite tasting is the claret reserve it was very oaky and yummy. We got some picnic item and sat outside and it was perfect! They were launching their Cabernet Reserve today so we were able to try that as well.

Yelp
A FIVE STAR experience. I was visiting family in the area and they suggested we picnic at Matthews winery. It's a great location plenty of picnic tables on a green grassy area and play area for the kids. These people are geniuses. I have never been to a winery where you are encouraged to bring your own picnic, buy a bottle of wine or do a tasting, and include your kids to enjoy the day as a family At a picnic table located on a lush green lawn. As an added bonus if you buy a bottle of wine, your $15 for wine sampling fee is waived. I discovered that my adult children and their friends with kids come here often because of the kids friendly atmosphere. I was so impressed with Matthews Winery that I bought a membership and look forward to receiving wine every quarter. And speaking of tastings, the staff were friendly and helpful. The Rose is crisp, clean, and when chilled, a delightful surprise in a glass. The Claret full bodied and satisfying. The Merlot tasted of spice and full of character. Five Stars all around! I will be back to make many more wine tasting memories.
google avatar

Angela S.

Yelp
We stopped by for a tasting, and had an exceptional experience. We were served by Alicia Asher (phenomenal). She had a plethora of knowledge to share with us. She told us about where the grapes were grown, how long the wine took to make and how stemware attributes to the taste. She was super attentive, without being overbearing. The experience was definitely worth its weight in gold. We will be back!
google avatar

Michael D.

Yelp
It's not a wonder why they have the 27th best wine in the world (the Claret which we bought two bottles of to fly home with us). The vibe is great and the customer service was perfect. The wines were complex, bold, and delicious. Can't wait to come back on our next visit to Washington!
google avatar

Sammi S.

Yelp
I really want to give this 5 stars, and I hope to visit this place again soon after a few months beyond the pandemic. The wait staff was really friendly but so slow! We missed our appointment to the next winery because it took over a hour and a half to get a tasting :( Wine is pretty good, and I do hope to return. I have a feeling it's from being short staffed due to COVID. We had an appointment and went on a Friday.
google avatar

Julie P.

Yelp
My new favorite to enjoy good wine in Woodinville! We did their wine tasting and you get to choose any four wines on the menu for $15! The staff was super friendly, helpful and nice which made the experience even better. We bought a bottle of Chardonnay to take back home. Even if you are not a fan of Chardonnays - I highly recommend you to try 2016 Tenor Chardonnay - it was one of THE best we've tasted! Also, another plus about this winery is that they give everyone a tasting of their wine for free as you walk in :) I've already been here twice since the last month I found out about this winery and it's highly recommended! I want to take all of my friends here. Inside is super cute too!
google avatar

Kasey G.

Yelp
The atmosphere is cute and elegant. I would say this place is better fit for a small group or a date. I came with a larger group which was just not a great idea. Some of my friends were a little loud but that's just the kind of people they are. The staff wasn't the best at handling the situation and I've heard now from others that they really don't like too much noise. The wine was great, I didn't get a chance to finish my tasting unfortunately, but maybe a one on one date next time I'll get the chance. I do want to go back in another setting but the first impression wasn't great due to their lack of service, so we will see if I give them another try. I did let them know we were a larger group before coming so I wish if it were going to be a problem I was let known before hand.

Yelp
Had a reservation on Sunday 8/6. Neither of us had been in before and we we very pleased to have found this site. Bailey was our host/server and did a wonderful job introducing us to some new favorites. It was a very welcoming environment and we plan on going back soon.

Yelp
There are tons of places in Woodinville to drink local wine. Most of them will always be a fun place to hang out with friends for a few drinks. Some of them have great deals on decent wine. Some of them have some truly amazing wine including a handful that are exceptional values. Matthews stands out by the quality of its wine--coincidentally enough, it also has much easier parking than a lot of places around here, and a very welcoming setting. They're not only making and serving probably the best wine in town, they're also an easy place to come enjoy it. You really can't ask for much more. They're a little ways from their nearest neighbors, and they have a decent plot of land around them. They're just a mile or two from the most-crowded spots around, but you feel way more like you might actually be out in rural wine country. You walk across a gravel parking lot into a nice little building with a big, fully-formed tasting room inside: long bar, plenty of seating spacious washrooms in back, high ceilings. All very tastefully decorated and well built. Out front there are two big tents with heaters. You can bring kids and dogs; the non-service-animal dogs need to stay out in the tents. They host weddings here when the weather's nicer. We got hailed on when we went back inside for our next glass yesterday. Somehow this made it fun, but I'm from here and enjoy crazy weather sometimes, so your mileage may vary. We got two 4-sip flights for $15 each. We got to try multiple big-body reds and several beautiful whites. They're justifiably famous for their claret, but every single pour here would stand out at most wineries around here. They waive the flight fee if you buy a bottle. I seriously can't imagine leaving a winery without bottles after a flight--you just drank for free if you take bottles home. If you leave empty-handed, it's almost like saying none of the wines were worth drinking more of, at least to me. These guys have been at the head table of Woodinville wines for years and years--there are bigger and better-advertised wineries, but only a couple that come close to the quality here. I've always enjoyed the product, and I'm glad I finally got to visit the source.

Linda T.

Yelp
Thank you Bailey fir your awesome service. Recommending the Rose, and training new employees in a classy manner. Enjoyed our time there, beautiful property, loved the snacks too!

Yelp
If you haven't been to Matthews yet, I highly suggest you drop all of your plans and go, NOW. Before you even put a taste of the wine in your mouth, it's hard not to be awestruck with how beautiful this venue is. Seriously, it is GORGEOUS. The big light fixture in the middle of the room is like, the only reason I'd wanna own a giant house. So I can have that. Now, on to the wines. Up until now, I'd be hard pressed to say I've found a winery where I've liked EVERY wine that I tried. But at Matthews, I liked EVERY SINGLE WINE that I tried. My husband's favorite was the 2016 Claret while mine was the Reserve Merlot. Part of me told myself to get something different, but I kept getting full pours of the Reserve Merlot because it was just that good. Highly recommend Matthews whether it's just for a tasting, or for gathering with a group of friends.

Yelp
The reception was BAD!! (7/16 2pm) the lady didn't even talk/greet and didn't give us instructions where to order wine. All she said, "you order your wine there" and pointed towards the yard seatings. What happened to professional greeting at a commercial place that makes money from customers. First experience was terrible.
google avatar

Emma B.

Yelp
super cute place! love that you can bring your own food & snacks!! $25 for tasting which isn't bad, but it gets waved if you purchase a bottle!! service was alright but we also went on a weekend

Allison B.

Yelp
A really great experience. Nice crisp whites, and full bodied reds. Tasting fee extremely reasonable. Staff was knowledgeable and engaged. A great drop in experience. Joined the wine club. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Relaxed atmosphere and incredible wines for both the Bordeaux style as well as the single varietal. They have a selection of crackers, cheese and even prosciutto if you'd like something to eat/cleanse the palate while wine tasting.

Yelp
One of my favorite winery in woodinville! This winery is so pretty and I absolutely love the aesthetically appealing ambiance. I am a big fan of the chalk board menus inside. The handwriting is always so clean and pretty to look at. The wines are also delicious and the staff is super friendly and helpful. And the wine tasting is fairly inexpensive! I love the new Jaine collection of wines and I can't wait to come back and try more of their wines:)
google avatar

Jen K.

Yelp
Our family has been loving outings to Matthews this fall to enjoy the beautiful outdoor lawn area! We have been on several different Saturdays around early afternoon, and each time had no problems finding a table outside where we were able to be nice and spread out from others. I'm still not 100% on board for indoor dining yet thanks to covid, so I love that there's such a nice outdoor seating area to enjoy here. Kids and dogs are allowed which is a huge plus for us, and the open lawn area gives plenty of space for our daughter to explore. They don't offer table service or tastings outside currently, but that's not a problem for us since we'd rather just grab a bottle and some cheese plates inside to go! Their wine is superb - the Cab Franc is our favorite!
google avatar

Oliver G.

Yelp
As far as tasting rooms go, this one is tops. It's relaxed and unpretentious, which is special given the quality and price-point of the wines here. I love the meritage wines from Matthews. There are two other wines here that round out the menu. I totally crushed the Granache on this visit. So if you're tasting wines in Woodinville, be sure to make this a stop. If you're just out for an afternoon glass on Thursday (me), this is your place!

Yelp
Matthews was great! A friend and I went during a rainy day, and the wine and service was great! The snacks were delicious and self serve, however a bit expensive! I would definitely return here.

Yelp
The reason Matthews Winery should be getting it's five stars is its quality wine. Nice ambiance, beautiful location, great times. Unfortunately, our recent experience there has made us feel not welcomed. Today's family outing didn't start on a positive note, courtesy of Matthews staff. We were refused to have our bottle opened (we are members). We felt discriminated and humiliated, and this is a deeper issue when staff considers you drunk with no obvious reason. I suggest management look into this as this is no way to treat your customers. Thanking Chateau Ste Michelle for saving the day. You are the real MVP.

Yelp
Super rude staff. I won't be back. Plenty of other wineries in the area who would be happy to have our business. We were very disappointed by the service our large group of 60+ was given.

Yelp
Beautiful winery with amazing wine! It was hard to pick a favorite because all the wine we tried was so good. They had a beautiful flower garden that we got to pick flowers from too!

Yelp
We loved it here! Socially distant tables covered outside and they take reservations! You can bring your own food or if you're like me and didn't plan well, you can buy cheese at the winery and eat the chocolate your friends brought :-) They have a non-reservation section in the grass to enjoy a Bottle that looked more spacious and probably where I'll hand with my kiddo when I come back. This week, I enjoyed the Sauvignon Blanc I bought last time and it was delicious at home. Sometimes when I get my wine home I wonder if I tasted too many, or what was I thinking, but this was a really good choice! In reading the other reviews, apparently I missed the Claret so will be back!

Yelp
What a great experience! My group did a wine tasting- 4 pours for only $15! The ambiance both indoors and outdoors was great (imagine rustic barn with dark accents and strung lights). We were kindly welcomed with a complimentary pour of Rose and staff were attentive to when we were ready for our next pours, but not pushy in any way. You get to choose from a menu of wines ranging from rose, whites and reds. Cheese & cracker platters are available for purchase as well. Whether you're going with friends or family Matthews is worth a visit!
