Google
Great customer service. Excellent food except for the veggies. I found the veggies to have a strong vinegar taste. 2 much vinegar for me but I think that's how most people like them. I am used to eating my veggies steam with no seasoning so that was a bad shock for me. Besides the veggies everything else was perfect. Very flavorful, the price was fair for the quantity. I will be back 😊😊❤️

Google
This place has amazing Puerto Rican food and great prices!! We were headed to this shopping center to go get Jersey mikes and chipotle and happened to stumble on this gem. The passionfruit juice was amazing too! Oh and the rotisserie chicken is sooo flavorful!

Zaida M.

Google
I ordered 2 family meals with pernil, and chicken for my coworkers. It was a great hit. The portion were huge that we ended up taking leftovers home. The arroz con gandules was very flavorful, but my favorite is the chicharrones. I will be making this place a regular for me.

Google
The service was good. The employees were good too. The food was a good The restaurant was super clean, and everything was good overall. Nice experience

Google
Well this place just change everything i could have said but it took a turn to the worst! Order a dozen of the frozen pasteles because I decided to try one that was all ready made and I have to say they were not bad at all but as mention before things took a turn for the worst after purchasing a dozen and after preparing and serving family & friends, not one but two of them had a very long black human hair in them! It looks black with some white or light color on them, very disgusting and embarrassing to serve this and totally unacceptable! You change something that could have been good to never go there again or recommend any of my friends to go there and in the end we ended up throwing the rest away, a $40 loss but better safe then sorry. Nothing you could do or say to make this better so enjoy the profit and wish you success. Do Not Reply, just practice better preparing meals with whom you have to make these.

Google
Fast friendly service and amazing food! Will definitely be back 😊

Google
Food is excellent… and I normally am not impressed with food. The red beans & rice were well seasoned without being overpowering. The avocados from La Republica Dominica twice decisive normal avocados. The carne asada was very flavorful. Portion size was very generous. The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home.

Naomy Q.

Google
Insanely authentic, savory puertorican food. I love that you get to see the kitchen and the variety of things you are able to buy. Their mofongos are very good, they even come with great garlic sauce (caldo). Prices are very reasonable, on the cheap side. If you like Puerto Rican food, you should try it at least once!

Yelp
This place is so good! Some of my real estate friends ordered food from here for a netting and I went back 2 days later for lunch and dinner lol it was so good. I love that they have so many items and lunch and dinner specials to choose from. I ordered the pernil with yellow rice and beans and plantains the first time , the half chicken with white rice and black beans with yuca for lunch and then another order of carne quisada with yellow rice , beans and plaintains for me and my daughter. I wish I lived closer as I would visit a lot more but it's definitely going to be a bi weekly or monthly dinner for my family. I even took some home for my hubby and he devoured it lol. Service was great each time and I loved the ambiance, music playing and very clean. I will definitely be back soon !!!
google avatar

Yelp
I enjoyed the easy service here. It's a cafeteria style Puerto Rican influenced restaurant. They have different specials and you just pick what you want. I opted for half chicken with yellow rice and a macaroni salad. It was very tasty and way generous on portions. Definitely can split with 2-3 people. Prices were reasonable. Will return.

Yelp
Stopped here because I was craving tostones. They were good for the most part. One of them had a hard center. I saw them pull them from the freezer before frying them, so I don't know if they were bought from a supplier, or made there and frozen for later. Either way they were decent, but I wouldn't necessarily rush back here for more.
google avatar

Sgt. P.

Yelp
It's cafeteria style, so don't be disappointed if you were looking for something else. The chicken is super tender and juicy, the guisado was good but not the best I have ever had. I also went veggies, and I was surprised by the amount of flavor they had. But the star of the show was the beans and rice. I would go once a week for those alone. The service was quick and friendly. I can't complain.
google avatar

Amber C.

Yelp
The food was pretty decent! I got it in takeout. I the rotisserie chicken was a bit saltier than I would like but the flavor was definitely seasoned well. The meat was also very tender! The beans and rice were also pretty decent! I enjoyed the tostones a bit more than the batatas, but it's more because I enjoy the texture a tostone has more. Overall, it's pretty decent and I would give everything an average of 3.5 (if I could give a half star)
google avatar

Yelp
This was not a hit!! Staff looks and acts miserable! Quit if you don't like to serve! WRONG INDUSTRY! The place is supposedly known for their rotisserie chicken. It needed flavor! Super dry and lukewarm at best. Trifongo- very good, a little dry Mofongo- Good Rice and beans- excellent- old school Ribs- horrible and dry. Chicharron de pollo- good flavor but barely hot Overall the experience was underwhelming!

Sally J.

Yelp
OMG I went here for lunch and ordered a shrimp Mofongo it was awful very high in salt mofongo was dry and the girl gave me mayoketcup for the sauce the price 19.00 but you can get better somewhere else cuz it was awful the soda machine they don't ever wash it I had a drink and it tasted like dirt . Low quality food no bueno

Yelp
Gross. This place used to be good and we hadn't been in a while so we decided to try it again. Ordered pork, arroz con gandules, and macaroni salad. The only edible item was the macaroni salad. The pork was absolutely disgusting. It was chunks of fat and super hard pork that I couldn't even cut through. They earned these horrible reviews. Do not go here. I'm so grossed out.

Ronnie K.

Yelp
Food was amazing, the service was incredible! The yellow rice tastes homemade, with love

Yelp
We don't have any good Puerto Rican food in Clermont. So we made the trip to East Orlando and took a friend's recommendation. Idk how this place only had 3 stars on Yelp. Our food was great, my boyfriend was in search for Puerto Rican steak and he found it. I love hot bars so you can see the food because I thought I was gonna go for the steak too till I saw the beef stew. I was sold, I tried their mac salad and loved it too! So I highly recommend it. The place was larger than I was expecting as well. I'm not a mofongo fan but there is a sign up that says "mofongo experts" and best Puerto Rican food since 2005. Let's just say I wish I had known about this place since 2005! I'd be a regular. It was worth the drive and I'll be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Most of the protein we had were over cooked and not really pleasant. Thought this would be a chance to try something that we have not had before, Puerto Rican. I would definitely try Puerto Rican food again, but probably not from Matt's. I would definitely get the BBQ Ribs and Chicken and skip the rest. We ordered a couple of combo meals to take back to our hotel. I will breakdown each protein. BBQ Chicken - whole chicken leg, really moist and flavorful. The BBQ sauce provided a sweet glaze on the skin. BBQ Ribs (Costillas) - sweet smoky sauce. Ribs are tender and juicy. Really good. The best thing ordered tonight. Fried Chicharron Frito (Deep Fried Port Belly) - the skin is too hard to bite down on, too bad. That is usually the best part, but this time its tooth breaker. The underlying meat is pretty good, its moist. THe skin blocked all the fire allowing the meat to become moist... at least that is what I hoped. Fried Pork (Carne Frita) - way too dry... over cooked... did not even try to finish. Now the side dishes: Mofungo - sweetened fried mashed plantains. Great warm and sweet dish that would have went well with more savory dishes. Mixed Veggies - over cooked steamed veggies (carrots, cauliflower & broccoli) Rice - both white and yellow were prepared properly.

Yelp
I arrived on a Friday evening and there was only a couple in front of me, but I couldn't understand why it was taking so long for the multiple (at least 4!!) staff members trying to get their order since they were speaking in Spanish. Slowly there were more customers coming in waiting behind me, and finally one of the 4 staff members stopped standing there and finally asked me to take my order. I had 1/4 rotisserie chicken with 2 sides, which I chose yellow rice and mixed vegetables. The yellow rice was a bit salty for my taste, while the mixed vegetables were over cooked. The chicken was ok. I also ordered a chicken noodles soup, which was super oily and was not appealing at all. I think the food quality needs to be improved while the staff, who were all very nice and friendly, need to be better trained for better efficiency in helping customers.

Yelp
(9/5/2023) We got an delivery order to our workplace during the workweek. My boricua co-worker was very interested in trying this place out and she was looking forward to the campesino-style food. I'm a persistent over-orderer since I want to try all the things. I got a quarter roasted chicken, it was initially moist, seasoned on the salty side. I basically did dunk everything in garlic oil, as I do love the garlic oil. I enjoyed the boiled yucca, with garlic oil. The mofongo was super dense and somewhat bland and very starchy. It may just be that I do not really like mofongo. I've been trying it over and over again just to check if it's me (and I think it's me, also, I am not boricua). Overall, it was an OK meal.

Yelp
Ordered food through uber eats and was surprised on the reviews. Getting quality puerto rican food living downtown is tough. The chicken, and chicharron were definitely some of the best ive had in the area. Will definitely be adding this to my rotation.

Yelp
Even though they have 3 stars they came recommended by a friend so we said let's go! To our surprise everything was delicious I will definitely be back! Quick hot bar service, I went with the the steak and onions Ooooooo sooooo freaking good!!!

Yelp
*** Don't pay attention to the STAR RATING. This place has authentic PUERTO RICAN food and FLAVOR!! I was craving Chipotle next door. I said well, why not give this place a try since it's a local, small business. I paid for a water, maduros, yellow rice and pork $15. DON'T let the price deceive you. The flavor was on point to PUERTO RICAN flavor. The sit in area good for about 50 people more or less. -High chairs for babies available -PARKING easy. -Fountain Drinks -Menu Variety GREAT! -Flavor 5Star -Staff FRIENDLY -Bathroom (did not see) -Food hot -Clean area Well worth the try.

David G.

Yelp
Food was ok, nothing special, chicken def not even close to Martins bbq, but just bland overall, like they're hiring people that are just pushing out tasteless food and don't care about seasoning or quality. Gave it an extra star after business reply, seems they do care, I may have had a one off order that day. I will return and try again.

Yelp
Excellent customer service, just not the flavor I was looking for. I got the pork intestine with rice and beans. It just didn't taste fresh.

Bree L.

Yelp
Matt's catered my charcuterie boards for the cocktail of my wedding. We were so very happy with the results. The catering coordinator was so easy to work with, they were very professional and were exceptionally efficient with setting up. The boards were beautiful and I can't believe how reasonably priced! We also rented glassware from them and I would highly recommend renting table setting stuff from them. They made it so easy with drop off and pickup I didn't have to do anything! 10/10 would hire again!

Yelp
Decided to try something a little different while in the area. Most restaurants were chains near the hotels. It was empty (no customers) when we arrived which right at 4pm. We only had 2 in our party and we both ordered a combo (meat choice, 2 sides and drink). So filling and so good. It was basically an early dinner because we were so full that I won't eat anything until breakfast tomorrow. We had a coupon for 15% off so we're able to eat for $16 total. Combo 1: Ribs, Potato Salad, Rice & Red Beans Combo 2: BBQ Pork, Potato Salad, Fried Sweet Plantains

Yelp
Best puerto rican food in town. Great portions with reasonable prices. Very good flavor.

Yelp
I might give them another try in all fairness. My place of business does a thing called Lunch in a Crunch and Matt's was featured for this Friday. I got the churrasco steak, red beans and rice and some tostones. Truthfully, I was a little dissapointed. The best thing in there was the red beans and yellow rice. The churrasco was chewy and tough, hardly any chimchurri marinate and nothing on the side. The tostones were oily, tough and flavorless, and again plain, no sauce offered of any kind. Maybe is was because it was a group order but frankly it sucked.

Yelp
A solid four stars for some great Latin food! After a long Monday, who wants to cook? Thankfully Uber Eats is to the rescue! I was craving Latin food so my boyfriend chose this place. I ordered the half rotisserie chicken with a side of yellow beans and rice and tostones (the kind made from breadfruit; not sure what it is called.) my boyfriend ordered the skirt steak with a side of yellow beans and rice and mashed potatoes. Each entree comes with two sides and there are a lot of choices. I also ordered a small chicken soup because soup is always awesome! Our food arrived and the first thing I noticed was that the portions are huge! My chicken had tons of meat and there were two large tostones and a heaping pile of yummy beans and rice. I dug into the soup first. It was delicious. There were long noodles, chicken on the bone (a little awkward but tasty, potatoes, and yam pieces. The broth had a great flavor. I finished that and moved on to my entree. I could only finish about half (yay leftovers!) because as I said the portions were huge. The rice was amazing and had some huge chunks of flavorful pork. The tostones were crispy and had a nice delicate taste. The chicken was a little on the salty side but it was very juicy and came right off the bone. Of course I had to steal a bite of the boyfriend's mashed potatoes (creamy and yummy) and a bite of steak (flavorful and well cooked.) I will absolutely order from here again. I can't speak for the customer service since it was takeout but the food is great and I am fine ordering it to go!

Yelp

Yelp
I ordered online for a 8:20pm pick up. Arrived at 8:36pm to find half my order done and sitting on the counter with no temperature control, with one of the items being macaroni salad made with mayo just sitting out at risk of getting.     I proceed to speak to a young man who was by the register and I advise him I'm there to pick up an order and I believed it was the one on the counter he goes over to it and says the mofongo was not ready yet. I responded ok. He just stared at the receipt and said nothing. So I said ok I'm just trying to get my food that's prepaid for. He then said well I can do a regular mofongo since I don't have the tri fongo ready. I said whatever I just need to get the food. He then said it will be 7 min for the tri fongo. I said once again ok. He then proceeded to throw around things as he is placing it to fry with an attitude. A family entered and he left the items for the mofongo to the side and continued to assist the new customers that walked in. He made me wait another 25 min to clear the restaurant of other clients to then finish the tri fongo. Once finished he threw the container on the other counter to walk over to the pre served items sitting in a near by counter top to bag everything up. I asked for a manager as I wanted my money back instead and he said no one is here you have to come in the morning. Horrible attitude and the worse customer service experience. As a near by hotel manager we used to recommend this place to our guest that wanted Spanish food but with the competition in the area and this experience. I have instructed my staff to no longer suggest this restaurant. We are recommending Made in Puerto Rico that is in same shopping center. El Cafetal or El Rinconcito all options in the area for our guest and still able for us to provide transportation to. Never again.  To top it off they have a ceiling leak right above the cold food station. And they placed a small container to catch the water and with the container being half full the drops where splashing water out of it on to the food in that area. Health department needs to visit them as per this and the staff don't seem to have food safety training.

Yelp
First thing I want to say is that the trays were so greasy, I almost lost my meal right at the start. Kinda wish I had though, since I must say, it was just awful. The Ribs were so under cooked, I wonder if that was the reason for all the salt they added to them. Then the Chicken legs were also salty and horrible along with it's bullet proof skin. Broke 2 forks on that alone. The rice and beans were at least normal tasting. And thank God my drink was bottled or who knows what that might have been. Oh, and did I mention my Chicken still had feathers? Never again....yuk!

Einy S.

Yelp
Ordered off Ubereats because they had over 2000+ ratings and 4.6 stars. If I could give zero stars I would. Never in my life have I eaten a meat or rice that gives me heartburn upon ingesting it. Everything was salty. I threw the pernil out because it wasn't the pernil I expected. It looked as if the meat was boiled and over salted. I'm not one to waste food, but I threw it out. I wasn't going to force myself after the ribs. The ribs were so hard to chew, salty, and under sauced. Not even my bbq sauce I put on them could save them. The rice was under cooked and also salty including the pigeon peas it came with. The chicken, I thought was going to be good. The thigh was kind of moist but getting to the rest of it, I almost choked it was so dry. Only saving grace of this whole meal was the Nutella tres leche. It saved my tongue from the burning of all the saltiness I ingested. The parcha was decent but nothing you can't get at the store. Over all I wouldn't come here or recommend to my friends. Not even my enemies.

Yelp
Went in earlier today for lunch and there was some people waiting to order before us so we stood on line for about 15 minutes just to order because there was only two girls. My man went the safe way and got chicken with rice n beans, I'm boricua so I went for the pastele and some sancocho soup. The food was an embarrassment to all Puerto Rican because the pastele was tasteless and the soup was bland and missing everything a sancocho soup is made of. His plate also lacked flavor and he said the chicken was dry. We just moved in the area and we will never again come here. Better off just making it myself for the price we paid
google avatar

Carlos M.

Yelp
This place was very disappointing I order the 1/2 chicken with mixed vegetables and green salad. The order came in wrong no green salad to much of what it looks like carrots and cauliflower like dry and yellow the chicken was dry and bland waste of time and money I don't recommend this place. I called the restaurant and I was told that they didn't have green salad so they put extra mix veggies without calling me first. Sorry guys you need to do a lot better will it order ever again from this place
google avatar

Keith W.

Yelp
Pretty nice place with some food I missed from the islands, however the Mofongo that I ordered stated that the meat would be stuffed into the middle and when the serving came it was out on the side with the mofongo being just by itself. Don't get me wrong, it was still good, I just felt that the flavor would have mixed better with the meat inside of the dish instead of on the side. The prices were fair and the menu diverse, though they could have more people working the front for speedier purchases. I can see myself coming back again to try the others items on the menu if i'm in town.
google avatar

Roberto N.

Yelp
Came back again. Spotlessly clean. Average portion sizes. But, you know, I keep coming back. This place is addictive. The pork remains my favorite dish. For dessert, I did the Flan. it's bought and sealed from an outside vendor, as if it were meant to be sold off a catering truck. the portion is small, but it's, well, allright. it's hard to mess up Flan....

Allie B.

Yelp
I love this place. The food is very delicious and flavorful. The staff was so nice and welcoming. My kids that only likes black beans even liked their red beans. My hubby that never liked rotisserie chicken loved theirs with the white rice and beans. I have the privilege of ordering from here thru my work. I originally ordered the churasco but I was told they were out of it and wanted to know if I wanted something . Gave my alternate order and didn't think anything of it, bc stuff happens. When I received my order, I got this letter apologizing and a desert. I was so moved by the letter. They didn't have to do that. I appreciate them even more and realize how much they care about their customers. Wow!! Amazing staff! I would have taken a pic of the food but I devoured it.
google avatar

Mike L.

Yelp
This is a great Puerto Rican food place. The food is served cafeteria style. You tell the person what you want and they setup your plate. If you order the mofonogo, just be ready for 10-15 wait. I got the steak & peppers & onions with fried plantains and yellow rice with red beans. It was very delicious and very filling. I was there with several people from PR and they loved it. My only complaint is that I wish they had a sauce bar like Pollo Brasas. I understand that this is a PR place and that is probably not authentic so I understand why and that would not stop me from going back there again. Delicious and very reasonable prices.
google avatar

Nathalia T.

Yelp
Great portions and pricing. A bit salty. Quick service the day I went in. It does get pretty busy. The juice is pretty good, must be made in house. A good alternative when you want a full plate of food (rice beans, protein).

Yelp
First Time and never will come back! Everyone knows I am a foodie and always recommend really good places to other folks but this place was an absolute nightmare and disaster!! I waited almost an hour to get my food the staff is very disorganized and I had 3 different people help me and then don't finish with me and help someone else out then when I'm getting ringed up she tells me will be 15-20 mins longer on my Mofongo. I said after standing threw this nightmare kitchen I got to wait extra and I have to pay full price ? All She said is sorry and walks away. I was there for way to long for this to be a prepare food location. Absolutely disappointed also the meat after waiting for so long mg is over cooked and pretty sure it's been sitting there for awhile I hope I will not get sick now.

Yelp
I was in Orlando a day early before leaving on a cruise and we stayed at a hotel near the airport. I decided to walk to find a Starbucks and I'm so glad I did. I found this place close by and it smelled so delicious outside I had to check it out. When I walked in and saw it was Puerto Rican food I was sold. I love PR and was actually going there on my cruise. The food looked delicious, the portions were huge and the prices were very reasonable. I called my husband and told him to get ready for a feast! I got the chicken mofongo and a couple of sides and got my hubs the 1/2 chicken and sides. Everything was prepared right then and DELICIOUS! Check it out!

Yelp
Ever drive by a restaurant close to home and tell yourself, I've gotta stop in and try that place, looks like the food will be good. Matt's was that place for me. We stopped in last night to check the place out. Things started out good, the food looked good, smelled great, people were friendly. We ordered the Mofongo with pork to go and the roast pork dinner with mash potatoes and vegetables. The pork was really tough but tasted good, the mofongo has bits that could've cooked longer. Unfortunately, neither of us felt well after our meals, which contributes my hesitation to return. If I did however, the chicken looked really good, and the bacalao salad looked really good too. Hope this helps.

Yelp
I stopped by last week, learned this is under new management. Wow! The chicken was amazing, prices were great, and the staff was very friendly. They spoke English and Spanish so that was great for my family. I am obsessed with the churrasco steak, super flavorful. I would definitely come back and will make this our spot after flights for affordable family friendly food

Yelp
Do NOT order a Turkey from here, not only do they not promise the time it will be ready for pick up (2 hours late) they will give you a un-roasted WHITE turkey not ready to eat. I brought it home and I had to roast the turkey myself! Why promote a cooked turkey ready to pick up and can not deliver on your promise? And they didn't even discount me for their mistake! Don't wait your time here, there are other BBQ joints around.

Yelp
My friends and I had lunch at Matt's Latin BBQ yesterday, and we enjoyed our experience. First of all, the service was very good. The women who made our plates and took our payments were both very nice. Also, it was New Years Day, so it was nice to have somewhere to eat, and in grateful for people working so that I could eat. Thanks, ladies! I appreciate you. The food was very good, and though I haven't had Puerto Rican fast food before, I was happy with what I ate. My friends and I asked what our server recommended, and she suggested a fried pork (not sure what the name is). It was quite tasty, though a tad dry and quite salty. Better than underseasoned, though. The plates also come with two sides and a drink. I got yellow rice and plantains. Both of those were really good. I ate about half of my plate, and I was full, so I got a takeout container to save my leftovers for later. I've been enjoying them! Probably the highlight of my meal was the lechon that my friend shared with me. If you don't know what lechon is, it's fried pork belly. So good! It was crispy and fatty like everyone likes it. However, at some places the skin is rock hard for sitting too long, but at Matt's, the skin was still crispy. I enjoyed my time at Matt's and would return again. Hopefully next time there'll be pasteles.

Yelp
Does not look appetizing and not very healthy or vegetarian friendly but what would you expect from a BBQ place. I had the chicken mofongo and it's interesting. It takes awhile to get to the center where the choice of stuffing is. It was crunchy and a bit salty. I felt like it needed some kind of flavor. My sister opinion was, "it's like putting potato chips in a sandwich and mashing it together and putting it in the oven." Her pork combo was extremely salty to me but she seemed to like it. For Spanish food I guess that's good. Otherwise the decor was nice and clean and I survived the meal so far. I didn't go into cardiac arrest or have a heart attack. Could have used a larger serving of beans. Then again, do you wanna toot all day?

Yelp
Yes, it used to be called Martin's BBQ- and this to any Puertorican means a whole lot. But not to fear, they changed the name but not the great taste. The chicken is still crispy and salty in the outside and jucy in the inside. the mofongos are great (the 3fongos are even better) and the prices aren't bad. I usually just get a full chicken and a side of mofongo. Eat what I can and drive back with an amazing smell in the car to Miami :) I wished they would open one in the 305

Yelp
Love the mofongo with garlic shrimp. Service is fair. I must say that it really bothered me to see one of the ladies taking trash out with her gloved hands and then with the same gloves wiping the table with the gloves she just used with the trash. Not good.

Yelp
Super good Latin bbq! This place was a find. It was so cheap and the food was good. I dined in bit will next time ask if I can take it to go because they fill the to-go boxes so much that you can practically get 2 meals for $7!

Yelp
After a long day at the theme parks, decided to come have dinner here! Nice establishment, very clean and appealing to the eye. Honestly, at first was a bit taken back because I was expecting a bit more of a BBQ versus a rice and beans place. I ordered the Manager's Choice with 2 sides: yellow rice and sweet plantains! The rice was VERY good. The chicken was not my favorite but was pretty good. My friends ordered the combos: one with mofongo (which was really delicious) and the other with yellow rice and sweet plantains. Very reasonably priced and a great dining experience. Also opens late!!!

Yelp
Martin's BBQ makes me think of Pollo Tropical's step-child. They offer similar types of entrees and sides at a very reasonable price. The interior is nothing fancy, but is clean and does the trick. A lot of the items revolve around chicken and yellow rice, and they also have some tasty plantains. Similar to Pollo Tropical, you get to pick side items with whichever main entree you choose. The chicken I had was moist enough and had good seasonings, and I would also recommend the Yucca. Tasty, cheap, nothing special, but it is definitely worth the price.

Yelp
The restaurant looked cute and the menu looked good so we decided to try it out. The service wasn't friendly. I ordered the mofongo with BBQ. The meat was extremely tough and hard to eat. The mofongo was OK...until I found a hair in it! I was completely disgusted. Obviously I will never eat here again.

Yelp
The only reason I rate this place 1 star is because Yelp doesn't allow for negative star rating As a fan of Puerto Rico's cuisine and being Puerto Rican myself this place was a major disappointment. The food was mediocre, but the customer service was horrendous. I found out about this restaurant through a feature on the TV show VICELAND, Huangs World. The show made out the restaurants food and customer service to be exceptional. However it was far from that. I decided to invite my family of eight out to eat some authentic Spanish food. As we arrive we are welcomed with "We don't have chillo", "No, we can't give you fresh pernil (it looked dry, like it had been sitting there entire day) and by the way the mofongo's are going to take 15-20 mins." Instead of taking the orders and serving the client the staff seemed like they didn't really want to go through the extra effort to prepare a mofongo. Mind you we were the only ones in line and you'd think they want the additional revenue on a higher cost plate. Overall the experience was horrible. Don't waste your time with this place and go to Melao Bakery for better Spanish criollo food and superior service.
