This museum was quite a wonderful experience to wander through. The indoor was full of intriguing pieces by some wonderful local artists. However, what really made the journey great was the outdoor sculpture garden. Some truly priceless pieces on offer. We'll definitely visit again.

Wonderful place to stroll through the manicured lawn areas with scupltures & treasures found along your path to admire! Several artists showcase their work inside so you can enjoy more in one location!

Absolutely amazing place, beautiful unique works of arts. Many sculptures outside on property. Only bad thing I can say is the grounds were very muddy. My car got filthy just driving in to park. Where boots!!

Very nice gallery. Spacious indoor viewing, well light to highlight the art. This is followed up with and outside gallery. The gallery wad scattered throughout trees, and open grounds that highlighted how thi work of art would look .

Interesting and innovative collection indoor, and in the expansive garden among the tall trees. Karla was quite willing to welcome us, in spite of our weekday arrival, when the gallery is normally closed

One of the most beautiful, wonderous places I've seen. Absolutely loved walking around outside and seeing all the art intertwined with the beauty of nature.

While we were in the area, we decided to pop in and see what this property was about! Do yourself a favor and stop in! It is magnificent! Walking around the grounds and seeing all of the sculptures and art, while listening to the wind and birds were just so relaxing. We happened to stop in when there was, an amazing pastel art show going on and we got to put our name in the hat for a couple of pieces! Cannot wait to get them hung up on the wall! Karla is the owner and such a talented artist! A plethora of knowledge to share and enjoyable to have conversations with! We really enjoyed each time that we got to speak with her. The first time was actually finding the property and buying the art and walking around. And then we went back a month later to pick up our arts after the art show was complete. The packaging was perfect for our drive home..

What a wonderful example of art working with nature. The Gallery shows are probably fantastic but we managed to show up unannounced and in between shows. The Gallery has a great example of North West Artists in a small "gift shop ". But the amazing thing are the Grounds. The inviting paths let you explore and meander and find , at your pace, various Art incorporated into the forest. Adirondack chairs provide a resting place among the Woods and the Art. Call ahead for hours or look online, and please make a donation to keep this wonderful experience continue. Comfortable shoes and a mellow attitude are recommended. Please say hi to the creator and owner, Ms. Matzke, she is a marvel and a force WITH Nature. Bring a few dog biscuits. Reminds me of the New Jersey Grounds for Sculpture but friendlier!

This is a magical spot in the woods. Only open on the weekends please set aside time to stop, meditate on the art and appreciate the unique pieces.

I had this outdoor and indoor art gallery bookmarked on Yelp and Steve and I made our first trip to Camano Island a few weekends ago and finally lit in here in addition to some of the island's state parks. The exhibits and pieces are rotated out so the sculptures you see as you come into the gallery aren't permanent fixtures. It's a beautiful gallery on the outside with all kinds of pieces to admire. The inside had great art too bit it was in the middle of a transition period between exhibits so we probably didn't see the interior at its fullest. The lady that ran the whole place was so friendly, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about everything there. Truly a great place to visit when touring Camano Island.

We went to look at Matzke Fine Art Gallery and met the owners who were extremely friendly and helpful. They had a range of paintings, sculptures and a small gift section to buy from. There were even cool paintings for sale in the bathroom! It was easy to find and had free parking outside the gallery. Make sure you take some time to enjoy the expansive sculpture garden outside on the grounds.

This one time at Terry's Corner I ran into a wonderful soul who inquired if the bbq at Orlando's was good-- well, it is good and that soul turned out to be Karla Matzke. She introduced herself and invited us to a showing for the following day. We found out that our new home was only a few miles from her gallery! What luck!! As soon as you arrive you are taken into a world of wonderful art smack dab in the middle of a forest on Camano Island. There is ample parking, a great vibe and almost everything you see is for sale. Ms. Matzke offers several shows throughout the year with various themes as well as hands on art experiences for those wanting a creative outlet. I recommend this place anytime you're on the island and interested in beautiful art and great conversation from someone who really appreciates creativity and information.

We were both enchanted by the Matzke sculpture gallery because we love art, we love quirk and we love Camano Island. So much love right? Karla, the owner, knows her stuff. There was an impressive range of materials and styles represented, and she has amassed an inspiring collection on the grounds, which is all for sale. Inside the indoor gallery, there is much to peruse and fall in love with. We wish we had bigger budgets because there were several great artists we loved. Instead, we bought small pieces as gifts, each about $75 for a miniature. It's nice to be able to walk away with a small piece, and know we supported Karla and her artists in even a small way. If you go and the art is out of the budget, you can at least donate to the gallery to support her tremendous work with artists and support her incredible vision.

Have known and followed Karla for well over 20 years. Great taste and artist in her own right. Love her passion for her business and the work of all whom she work's with at the gallery. Time at this gallery and sculpture park, is time well spent and creates memories of a lifetime.

Matzke Fine Art has an amazing gallery space curated by Karla Matzke's fine eye for quality. The outdoor sculpture garden is magical. You will find a broad range of sculptures among the beautifully landscaped grounds. Carved stone, glass, steel, ceramics and more are among the sculptural forms you'll find nestled into this wonderful northwest garden. Definitely worth a visit and a grand destination for your out of town guests!

It happened few years ago. We visited Karla place and those few days of workshop were just divine! For art newbies and experienced artists alike. We made bunch of new friends and all experience was very-very inspiring. Beautiful grounds - serene and lush with unexpected modern building filled with light and art. I still think about this time with very warm heart! Despite pretty chilly rainy weather we all had very cozy awesome experience. XOXOX.

Very friendly, well set-up, and amazing art. We were there for the last weekend of the art show and were not disappointed. Very impressed by the collection and the various types of art and sculpture. Perfect way to spend some time on Camano.

Just plain WOW. The sculpture garden greets you on the way in and there is so much to see. Then we were surprised to find a wonderful gallery representing many great artist who use many different mediums. Glass to stone to paintings and more. The displays are always changing so never know what you will find. Highly recommend stopping by and seeing it.
