Lovely welcome from Helena and her front of house colleagues. Great music selection in the background to enhance the Caribbean vibes. Festive menu of cocktails and mocktails - including sorrel based drinks, because “ ‘Tis the season!” The small plates, home style approach made everything communal and fun. Small plates were GENEROUSLY filled. Our vegetarian friend was able to eat as well (if not better!) than us carnivores. A wonderful evening.

Absolutely loved our visit to Mauby! 100% gluten free so a coeliac's dream, and all small plates based so means we can share our food for once. Menu appears to change on a seasonal basis. Can't wait to return, though my partner thought the chairs were rather uncomfortable!

Fabulous restaurant! We went recently to try their Autumn menu which was delicious and comforting. You can tell that time and thought has gone into creating this menu and I love that they change it up with the seasons. The staff were friendly and attentive and the drinks were great. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant, owned by two wonderful locals working hard to create fantastic dishes and a lovely atmosphere.

We had a lovely dinner at Mauby, the service was excellent lovely waitresses and chef! The food was really tasty particularly loved the pumpkin, pork and beans. Delicious cocktails too

Seated at 8pm Chicken was ok and the best bit Plantain was not ripe Rice was not my cup of tea so I did not eat it, though im sure some would like. Plates was a joke as they was so small we could not navigate the food on it. So small that I splashed food on my top trying to get to it! Music was good.

My wife and I celebrated her Birthday with an intimate dinner at Mauby. Mauby is a wonderfully atmospheric and cosy dining spot, featuring stunning small plates and great drinks. Whilst the service wasn't as attentive as we'd have hoped (plates went uncleaned for a bit too long, and several flag-downs were missed), the evening was delightful and was very inexpensive for the quality served. Recommend everyone in the area tries Mauby - you'll be impressed with the food and atmosphere and we'll certainly be heading back!

This was a wonderful dining experience. Every single dish was beautifully prepared and delicious. The place was busy but waiting times were minimal. The welcome and service were excellent and we really enjoyed the entire evening. Thank you, we'll be back!

What an absolute gem Mauby is! I've been waiting to visit for ages and wasn't disappointed. We ordered one of every dish on the menu and each was more delicious than the last. It's clear the owners Heleena and Daniel have put a huge amount of love and effort into the restaurant and I can't wait to return.
