This little corner of a bar is filled with fabulous signature cocktails and delicious small plates. Andrew is THE man to have make your drinks. He combines his knowledge of liquors with his sense of humor and makes you feel like you stopped by a friend’s home. The pecan pie is the only dessert, but it’s all you didn’t know you needed.

Delicious and creative cocktails. Awesome vibe and atmosphere. And the bartender, Hannah, is AMAZING! Watching her in action and seeing the effort that she puts into making these drinks is the icing on the cake. Will definitely return and highly recommend!

Amazing atmosphere but very disappointing food. The kabobs were especially bad—honestly worse than what you’d get on an airplane. Definitely not worth coming here for the food alone

What a find! We were here for a wedding and stopped by to have a drink on our last day and were fortunate to have been attended to by Avery D - and he is a gem of a mixologist & a whiskey wizard! His deep knowledge of bourbons is truly impressive and adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. Not only that, but Avery goes above and beyond by creating off-the-menu drinks tailored to our taste. It's this personalized touch that sets Avery apart as a bartender of exceptional talent. I can't recommend his expertise and creativity enough. Coming from NYC - I’d actually come back just to get back to this bar! The only (slight) deterrent is that the drinks drink so easy and are super good…. But they come with Manhattan prices too! $$$$ Find it a little expensive for Texas but You get what you pay for though I guess! I’ll be back!

Trust your bartender. They know their craft and these people know their craft very well. Great experience. Far beyond the ordinary level of service. Our first trip was for our anniversary on September. Our second trip was in October. The weather was great so we sat outside underneath Maude and had excellent food and more drinks. I highly recommend the chicken kebab and the heirloom tomato salad.

The bartenders are awesome but that's about it. I made a reservation and was charged $64 as a deposit (it was a special occasion or I would not have agreed) It was not deducted from the bill and I am still actively trying to track down my refund which no one but the manager had even heard of. The awesome service stops at the bar. The patio was not crowded- so I still don't understand why I had to pay a deposit on a reservation. Our server was terrible, unfriendly and was never around. I had too go to the bar to get another drink because he vanished. The lamb chops were really good but there was nothing but 3 chops and sauce on a huge plate. No sides, no salad or bread, nothing. I had the "Greek Salad" which was nothing but large chunks of tomatoes a few tiny cucumbers, a few olives and a large glob of whipped feta that covered half the plate. No lettuce, no bread or crackers - just a bowl of feta with tomatoes. Overall we were very disappointed with our dinner and do not plan to go back. I expected more from the Hyatt.

What can we say? This is without a doubt, Austin’s best hidden gem! Not only will they make you the best old fashioned, martini, or whatever classic is calling to you, but they also have an extensive selection of thoughtful, seasonal cocktails on their menu too - but even better than that, the staff will always encourage you to explore something new, innovative or different. We have discovered many new spirits, combinations and techniques; including some which no other bar in Austin is utilising. No lobby bar (and that undersells it, it’s far more sophisticated!) in any Hyatt brings the same level of craft, comfort or cocktails. In addition to it having many of the best drinks in Austin, the food and the service are a cut above the rest. With some wonderful sharing plates such as the hummus (with an incredible addition of candied pecans) or their charcuterie, or hot dishes like the lamb sliders or flatbreads, you’ll find yourself more than well fed. The service, though, is truly what completes Maude’s. All of the staff are friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable; and most importantly, make you feel like you’re home. Juliana has a fantastic team who are not only a credit to her, but also to the Hyatt Lost Pines brand. This bar deserves more accolades and recognition than it’s gotten - but for now, it should take comfort in knowing that the Hyatt category increase of Lost Pines must certainly be tied to their excellent development. If you haven’t yet been, go!

We ordered the Greek salad, falafel and fries to share. Everything was so fresh and tasty! Tisi took excellent care of us. Live music with great food on Texas summer Saturday evening when it isn’t 100+ degrees, perfection.
