The in-store experience took a frustrating turn when we were handed off to an associate to have the hat shaped. The person who helped with the fit was friendly, but instead of discussing our options for getting the preferred hat (like asking if we were local or when we needed it by), they just upsold us. That's fine, we were looking for a forever hat. But then came the letdown -- they promised to custom fit the hat to our face, style, and preferences, but after several attempts, they couldn't quite get it right. We went back and forth pointing out obvious flaws at least 10 times, and every time the hat came back, it was still off. What made it worse is that this was one of their nicer, higher-end hats, and we were passed off to someone who didn't seem to have the experience for making such significant adjustments to a custom, final-sale item. There was no guidance or encouragement on how to personalize it or elevate the look either. Oh, and we had to leave without a box! Just really disappointed and frustrated and really don't love the way my hat turned out at all. Overall experience was lacking and felt like they were just trying to churn and burn. Would not recommend.
