Houston’s Downtown Food Hub Finn Hall Is Back and Bigger Than Ever | Eater Houston
"A bento-focused concept slated to open this fall inside the downtown 20,000-square-foot food hall as one of four new additions; it will help bring the venue's roster back up to nine tenants as part of a post-pandemic expansion." - Brittany Britto Garley
It's a nice little spot for grabbing some food located inside The Finn. I DO NOT recommend the spam musubi. The musubi was dry and flavorless. It's also on the smaller side compared to other places offering musubi. The fries are a soggy mess while being dry and flavorless. Pictures show what I mean. However, I do recommend the Hawaiian Beef Teriyaki. It was delicious & not salty like some other places make it.

Located in Finn Hall, it is one of the food stores which you can order via the self-service device, and get a pager from the staff afterwards.
Wait time for the food was about 5-10mins. I had the pork katsu bowl with white rice. It comes with two sides, which I chose double quantity of French fries. The pork katsu was crispy, but slightly dry. The white rice was mushy. The French fries weren't crispy.
I may give them a second chance since their pork katsu was pretty decent.

Quick walk from the Marriotts downtown where I’m staying. Wanted a quick bite within a 5 minute walking distance. Service is good and the food wasn’t too bad.

I’ve ordered 5 times here for our 40-65 employees lunch and It never failed. Always delicious food, good service and food always warm. We had the chicken, beef teriyaki, shrimp, ahi Poke, noodles and vegetarian. Thanks Chef Henry!

I tried to order, and the employee wouldn't speak English. I grew very multi-cultural, so the strongest accent usually are not a problem to me. But lack of basic communication skills makes it very hard for anyone to get their order. Also the tablet ordering interface needs better options. I am exceptionally familiar Hawaiian/local Hawaii food menus and this is Hawaiian inspired at best. i am trying to be as honest as possible, I want this place to succeed.

Went here for lunch and ordered the Mochiko chicken bowl with pickled cucumbers and sautéed vegetables. The chicken was nice and crunchy and coated with just the right amount of sauce. Food was out fast and everything was really good.
