Maui Gold Pineapple

I had a wonderful experience on the farm tour! Our guide, Kennedy, was extremely knowledgeable & fun. It was so cool to pile into a tour bus & head up a dirt road into the working pineapple fields. We even got to eat fresh cut pineapple right next to the harvesters. To top it off we got a pineapple to take home!

From seedling to harvest, it’s a long journey filled with meticulous care. I had no idea it takes nearly 18 month to grow a perfect pineapple! Serious stuff! An amazing tour! Wasn't sure what to hope for but this tour was amazing. Our tour guide was very interesting and informative. We got to eat freshly picked pineapple right out in the field. You also go home with a pineapple for each person. This tour was fantastic.

What a great experience and tour!! Our guide, Rudy (also the GM), was wonderful! The 1.5 hour tour was so worth the price. My boys, 13 & 10, loved the tour too! They drove us out in a small bus, learned everything there was no know about pineapples, ate soo much pineapple and they give you 1 pineapple per person at the end of the trip. We walked away with 4 pineapples, picked that morning, boxes up and ready to take home. 10/10 recommend! (And there is a restaurant, distillery and glass blowing shop all right next to it!)

Amazing place! Be warned, however, this will recalibrate your taste buds for what a pineapple should taste like. The canned trash you get from the grocery store will never be good enough after this tour. The tour itself, was very informative, a lot of fun, and well worth your time and money. Yes, you will get to taste some Maui Golds and they even give you one to take home (ours didn't last past that night at the hotel).

The Maui Pineapple Farm tour was one of the most unique and tasty tours my wife and I did on our honeymoon. Brian, our tour guide, was super informative about the history of pineapples, along with being one of the most lighthearted and funny tour guides we had. The highlight of the day was getting to taste the sweet gold that is growing on the farm. We luckily answered a trivia question correctly, so we were able to eat the core of the pineapple, which was new to us since you certainly can't do that with a pineapple on the mainland without hurting your teeth. To cap it off, you get to take a pineapple home with you, which we have been happy to share it and the stories of Maui Gold with our family back at home.

Super fun tour getting to drive around the farm, learn so much about pineapples among beautiful landscape and enjoy the most delicious samples. Our guide was super funny, knowledgeable, and high energy which kept the tour entertaining. The airport ready to go pineapples you get to take with you after was the cherry on top to the experience! And happy to report my 2 pineapples weathered the flight well and were delicious! Highly recommend taking a break from the beach to drive out here and enjoy this wonderful tour :)

Maui Gold Store AND ESPECIALLY THE PINEAPPLE TOUR IS MUST SEE! Staff is incredibly FRIENDLY! Our tour guide was knowledgeable and FUNNY! Loved learning and seeing the different stages of their planting and harvesting… not to mention getting to try their pineapples on the tour and even going home with a full size pineapple was a sweet surprise! This is also great for kids! All four of my kids had a great time ages ranging from 12-5 years old. Would definitely do again and recommend!
