This condo was AMAZING! Clean, spacious, everything was stocked up! It was worth every penny. It honestly felt like home for the 2 weeks we stayed. Usually you have to get your own things at air bnb but this they had extra of everything. If you needed anything it was just a text away and the response time was impeccable. Honestly couldn’t have had a better experience. Thank you guys so much for making this family vacation so||Memorable!

This is a great place with great access to amenities. Being a home rental the decor might be different in each home, some more dated than others, but all super clean, spacious and the grounds are amazing. Beach Club access is a great beach and facility. You will need to do your own rental of snorkeling and other items like paddleboards. Restaurant was great at Beach Club, spendy for dinner, avg. for lunch and drinks. Great snorkeling area at this beach, many tours come here as a stop. I did not golf, but GC looks immaculate and amazing. Petroglyph Park nearby is a great stop right near hear as is the attached beach for tide pools. Pool looked nice but we did not use as most would rather be at beach. Great location and great resort, would love to come back. BTW we were a family of 4, kids 11/13 and they loved it. We also had a unit with attached garage which was nice, 2 of 4 units did, the other were unattached but close.

We had a great time with our 3 kids. It was friendly, easy for the kids and very clean. The beaches were private and never crowed. The pool was perfect, clean and everything was so easy. Staff was great to help with anything we had like a luau recommendation.

Best spot on the Big Island. These condos are great. Close to ocean and golf. Quick trip from the airport. Easy check in and check out and the Coral Tree team is amazing. I would go here with a couple or with a family. If you are looking for a perfect spot on the Big Island this is it!

Meh. This place is overpriced for its amenities, which are pretty few. The pool is pretty awful; shaded and small, with an adjacent BBQ area. Great place for kids, probably, which we don't have but not if you want to enjoy a drink and read a book. The patio and view from our space (A107) was excellent, but that's about the nicest thing I can say. The furniture inside is uncomfortable and awkwardly laid out. No welcome basket. The staff is responsive via text but not really with any good answers. For instance I asked if we could borrow 2 chairs to take to the Beach Club since there aren't very many lounge chairs/cabanas down there and they get claimed early and taken over day. I was told sadly, no, they do not have those. Which seems bizarre when you are spending over $1,000 a night. Was I supposed to bring my own chairs on the plane? Buy some myself and then throw them away or leave them behind? I wish we had spent a little more and stayed at the Auberge, where the customer service is much better. Bummer.

Mauna Lani Point is the perfect home base on the Kohala coast. Beautiful, big units facing the ocean. Well maintained grounds. A great pool and common BBQ area. Our family enjoyed our 13 days here, and will definitely be back! We loved listening and watching the ocean from our lanai--waves crashing, whales going by, sail boats, beautiful sunsets, incredible golf course views.

Fantastic place, comfortable furniture, nice bathrooms, big kitchen, shopping and beach club near by, nice pool. Amazing views. Had the opportunity to snorkel and enjoy the experience of swimming surrounded by beautiful fish.

We toured 4 islands and this was our favorite place to stay. It was immaculately maintained, located in a great area and safe to walk in the evenings. The staff was exceptionally helpful. The lanai was a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast before heading out for the day. We’ll be back.

Yelp
First and foremost service from Marvallee and team was excellent. They deserve all the kudos which is why the extra star. However, At the end of the day, our condo was so outdated with old couches with lifeless cushioning and an awful pull out bed that caused back aches for my kids. Also, an outdated kitchen that hasn't been updated in 20 years that looked NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES ON THE HYATT SITE during booking. It is absolutely a bait n switch / oversell on the quality of the property. The only reason we weren't livid and calling Hyatt customer care to move us was because the staff was very friendly and the exterior campus and facilities outside our condo were beautiful with immaculate landscaping. The private beach club access was very welcome too that comes with staying at Mauna Lani. That is not how $1000 a night room/condo should feel. It's not fair and it deceptive to the buyer based on pictures that we're posted. To me, Hyatt intentionally deceived us in booking here which we wouldn't have done if we were given an honest look at the property. It's unfair and bad policy for our favorite hotel chain that we loved the most. Very poor experience in our minds. Other pluses were that the bed and pillows in the bedroom were comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, and the condo was otherwise very well maintained - just dated and old. The common areas are well done: The pool area and hot tub area with the separate grills and dining space was very nicely done too.

Yelp
We had a great stay at this Destination by Hyatt property. We were in unit B101 which was a partial ocean view, first floor unit. The condo was as described -- very clean, and had all necessary kitchen utensils. The included washer/dryer was a necessary amenity for us. The king bed was too firm for me. Customer service from Marvallee and her team was very responsive and was very much appreciated. We only went to the beach club once, but used the pool facilities everyday. Contrary to the muted description on their website, the pool and hot tub are very nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the resort and would recommend it to others.

Yelp
Booked this through Hyatt and legitimately feel like we were scammed. Hyatt makes it seem as though you are going to one of their hotels that has apartment style rooms. Instead, you're renting an air bnb style place that is EXTREMELY out of date and is nothing like a hotel experience. Lots of things in the apartment were not working and it felt old and dirty. It's very close to the ocean but it's impossible to walk to a beach due to all of the private roads and gates with no sidewalks. It's a very unwelcoming community clearly attempting to set itself apart from locals. And for check in they text you with gate entry information and the code to a lock box at your apartment, which is fine except they did not explain any of the amenities. We had to call the concierge number to understand what the random "beach club" card left on the counter for us was, and to get directions to it since it required a drive. On that call we were also informed of other things we never would have known about, like the outdoor kitchen with grills. Would never stay here again.

Yelp
H206 was an awesome unit. Great view! Granite countertop, the kitchen has almost everything you need for cooking. There was a big refrigerator inside this unit as well. They even have a washer & dryer. The twin bed was a bit firm but some people prefer a firm mattress. The staff was very accommodating. The condo was about 5 min drive from the market & coffee shop. We had such a wonderful time staying here.

Yelp
We booked a 2 bedroom ocean view unit with a pull out sofa bed and 2.5 baths for 5 people. When we arrived, our unit, E205, did not have a sofa bed or a half bathroom. The office said they could move us but we wouldn't have the ocean view which was important. They brought us a roll away bed which my 79 year old mother slept on, it was not comfortable. She also had to walk into a bedroom to use a bathroom in the middle of the night as we didn't get the 1/2 bath we booked. The unit had a great view and lanai but it is very old and needs updating. The carpet, especially in the master bedroom was stained and disgusting. The furniture in the master was old and rickety. The master bathroom faucet was broken and the sink did not drain very well. The area is gorgeous, love the private beach club and the parking was easy. It seems to me there should be a standard level that these condos should be kept at. This one failed to meet quite a few expectations.

Yelp
It was our first time to the islands. We booked online through Costco and we wanted to stay in a condo . Mauna Lani Point was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The condo was well furnished and spacious! Kitchen area had everything for us to cook meals and the living room area was big and comfortable. The lanai was spacious with an ocean view and experiencing the Hawaii sunset. The bedroom was large with a tv and a ceiling fan. We spent a wonderful week at this beautiful location! A private beach is walking distance if you want to just relax. We can't wait to come back. Mahalo!

Yelp
Mauna Lani Point as a complex is a great place to stay. But whatever you do, don't rent unit B208. We had a fully paid for reservation through a property manager when they contacted us to let us know the owner was canceling our reservation. Just left us stuck with flights to Hawaii and no where to stay. No warning or explanation or compensation for the hassle of trying to find other accommodations at the last minute. So avoid this particular condo or you may have your trip ruined by the fickle owners .

Yelp
Can you imagine going on vacation where jackhammering going on both sides of the condo you rented and staff act surprise that they started when in fact had been working on one unit for 3 weeks per construction crew, management evasive when asked about start date. i received an email at 6pm night before we were to leave for Hawaii that pipe construction in our building was going on. I text and spoke to them that we do not want that building. they showed us another condo, not in same complex, no view (we paid for ocean view), outdated, we went and saw assigned condo and construction men working and gal said, oh they are quiet, so we stayed. the next morning the jackhammering begun, could not stay in condo. so we paid for a condo we could not stay in during the day. six days later saw construction workers in condo on other side of us, can you imagine our distress. we called again and they said we could wait for a condo to be cleaned in another building, so we waited a few hours for their call and moved. the couple below us said they had just finished their condo 3 weeks ago. so management knew about work a long time ago, all could have been better if they had called and we could have changed our vacation dates. Management replied to my concerns but they just essentially said, thanks for the info, very disappointed with Destination Resorts and Hilton (who owns them). I do not understand how they can treat us so poorly, I will not use them again!

Yelp
It's disappointing not only having to cancel our family trip because of the unpredictable natural disaster but even worse, we are unable to get a full reimbursement from the Mauna Lani Point According to the policy we had until May 5th to cancel and we cancelled a few days after hoping the situation would calm down. It hasn't and because of that we have lost $1k. I could understand if we canceled for personal reasons but not because of a natural disaster. It's too bad I would have re-booked and ended up spending far more than $1k later but now we will be looking elsewhere. Thankfully Alaskan Airlines reimbursed us the full cost of the airfare. They will be getting our business again.

Yelp
We stayed here for a week and hated to leave. The sites were unbelievable. The condo was super clean and appropriately appointed. The two bedroom 2 1/2 bath set up was perfect for our family of five. A+.

Yelp
We just returned from an Amazing vacation at the Mauna Lani Point Resort in Kona Hawaii. Upon our arrival, we were struck by the pristine and immaculately kept grounds. Finding the check-in location can be a bit tricky. It's in an unmarked bldg. Just past the guard station as you enter the resort. There aren't any clearly marked signs, but you quickly get over it once you check-in and arrive in your stunning condo. I highly recommend staying in the A,B,C or D buildings (right on the sea and golf course) if you can afford the upgrade. It's about $500 Dollars per night. You can get a cheaper condo without sea views for cheaper. The golf course views are truly beautiful as well. We were fortunate to stay in a beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped condo. We also had daily maid service which was a nice surprise as well. The star of this condo was the View.... WOW.... You walk in and all you see is the striking golf course and the beautiful Blue Sea from your spacious deck. We knew from the second we arrived we were going to have a fabulous time....and we did! The Mauna Lani point resort has a great private pool, hot tub, Spa fitness center, Dry Sauna, and a immaculate relaxed BBQ/Outdoor Community Kitchen area. The Tennis Courts and Golf Course are 5 Star and stunning. There is a private beach club with access to a great white sand beach. The beach is truly serene and crystal clear. The beautiful clear water is great but has some lava rocks which can be a bit painful. I highly recommend the purchase of water shoes!!! We got them at a local surf shop for about $20. You can get them cheaper at Target or your local sporting goods store. We also had great drinks at the beach club and the appetizers looked really tasty. The wait staff was very welcoming and totally laid back. There is a convenient shopping center in the resort with a grocery market for all your shopping needs. Be prepared, it's not cheap but it's a lot more affordable than eating at the resort hotels every night. You can also go to Costco which is a 20 min drive away from the resort. We cooked great meals in our well stocked and highly organized kitchen. We also had a couple nice meals out to treat ourselves. In the resort, there were a few restaurants. I do not recommend the Ruth Chris Steakhouse. It was not great..Yuck. But to our surprise the Tommy Bahama restaurant was good. The service was mediocre but the food across the board was decent. Who knew Tommy Bahama was more than a clothing store for old men...lol. A true pleasant surprise... Well I have gone on enough. The Mauna Lani Resort is truly paradise and heaven on earth. We had a wonderful time and can not wait to go again. Mahalo!!!!
