"Come to this sunny cafe when you wake up in the morning and require a fluffy omelet, some crisp-edged oatmeal pancakes, and a glass of orange, lemon, carrot, and ginger juice. Maverick does lunch, too, in case you’re more of a sandwich person. As long as you dip your beer-battered fries in the caper aioli, you’ll have a good time." - Gabi Moskowitz

Google
We try to come at least once every other week since we live in about 25minutes away. We love this place. The people here are awesome! The food is consistent and delicious. The waffles are fresh. The fries are crispy. I love personally love their pasta options. I usually get the palermo and abruzzo. Both amazing and always tastes just like the last visit.. We have also tried several breakfast items and they are great size for the price. Definately go and try them out!

Google
Came here for Sunday brunch and really enjoyed the Half Moon Bay crepe, but would have loved to have a little less red onion and a bit more smoked salmon in the crepe. Fries were super crispy and delicious.

Google
The food was great and tasty, but the 1-hour wait after ordering was too long. It would have been appreciated if the staff had checked in halfway through to update us on the delay and apologize, but that didn’t happen. The team was clearly working hard, but it seemed like they might have been slightly understaffed.

We visited this place on Black Friday. We didn’t want to shop we wanted to go to the ocean. On the way tor he beach we stopped by Mavericks. We were glad we did. My daughter had one of their Savory Crepes and really enjoyed it. My wife ordered their French Toast with Walnuts which she liked and there were 6 pieces. I had a Denver Omelette with potatoes and Wheat Toast (excuse the Ketchup in the picture - I dug in before remembering to take a picture). The coffee is also really good also. If you are in the area - stop by you won’t be disappointed- in my opinion.

Google
We had the oatmeal pancakes and the blackstone benedict. Both delicious. Service was very good (only note was that the food didn’t come out at the same time but with a few minutes difference). The place has a very chill vibe. I wouldn’t call it a very cozy spot, but it is clean and simple.

Google
tried their local favorite crepe riviera . It was ok. Will try Nutella flavor next time. Ambiance is good and light. Family friendly and ample space to sit, You need to order at the counter first and sit where you want.

Google
Decided to try here for brunch on Sunday, Memorial Day weekend, based on Google reviews and also support the biz. I'm unclear of the high ratings. The waffle with whip cream and fresh strawberries, $12, were uneventful for our palates. Plus, it arrived barely warm, which the butter struggled to melt and the waffle itself was not as crunchy. Taste was similar to any homemade waffle....3*. The Half Moon Bay smoked salmon crepe wasn't too savory as advertised. Our tastebuds did not jump for joy or excitement. It wasn't bad but wasn't exciting either, 3*. Service: must have been really busy cuz service was struggling as well, but when it was good when delivered.

Google
The food was really tasty and quite healthy with lots of salad. Especially the French Fries are really crispy and yummy. The only thing I find strange is that it is almost self service but they still expect you to give at least 18% tips. It was also quite cold so minus one star.

Yelp
Came here for brunch on a Sunday morning and it was a great experience! It is a simple restaurant - you order at the counter and seat yourself. My partner and I shared the Half Moon Bay crepe and the Cote D'Azur. The crepe had spinach, cheese and smoked salmon, and the Cote D'Azur was an eggs benedict version of this same dish. Both were great! I really enjoyed their beer battered french fries. A great option for a meal when in Half Moon Bay! I would be interested in coming back and trying their pastas!

Yelp
But I ain't worried 'bout it right now (right now) French toast alive, 1999, heroes... Talk to me Goose about breakfast that is. 5/5 Customer Service. Order and pay at the counter. Cashier was very patient with me given the fact that I was so tired and hungry. I've been craving French toast all week and finally got my fix. I know it's a crepe place but I can't pass on FT. Very nice inside or you can sit outside. 5/5 Maverick Breeze was perfect. After drinking coffee in the morning I needed something refreshing and this hit the spot. Mixture of OJ, Carrots, Lemon, Honey and Ginger. 5/5 Parking. Plenty of it. Although on the weekend it can get a bit chaotic. After coming here twice I'll make it a stop when in Half Moon. Be patient during the weekends as it can get very full. But don't worry Ghost Rider the pattern isn't always full. God bless

Yelp
The menu here is always so mouthwatering. My favorite thing to order is a Caesar salad (tossed) with the Shanghai chicken on the side. The ladies at the register are always so nice and cheerful. Of the many times I've ordered from them I have always been impressed with how clean the restaurant is. It's a clean home vibe. I will definitely keep coming back! Thank you ladies!

Anna B.

Yelp
Was in Half Moon Bay and decided to get brunch here! I shared the Half Moon Bay crepe which had smoked salmon, and then the Côte d'Azur which was a smoked salmon Benedict. Both were fresh and delicious, the potatoes and beer battered French fries were great. Service was very attentive with our coffee refills, there's seating inside, huge parking lot and a huge menu!

Yelp
I came in for the TJ fajitas. I decided to go surf and turf and double up with some shrimp! Customer service : 5 out of 5 Order accuracy: 5 out of 5 Freshness of ingredients : 5 out of 5 Flavor: 0 stars No marinades, no ingredient prep, no good char on the meat, no good char on the shrimp Tipped serve $15 and tipped cook $20 Food was fresh but absolutely bland It's not the cooks fault he does not have the equipment he needs to char these ingredients at high heat. Salsa has not near enough cilantro or jalepeno, it's more like a watery tomato chutney For a person who loves flavor this food might as well be British, it has absolutely no seasoning, no salt, no pepper. Now, the fries on the other hand were just the way I like them. Crispy outside and soft inside. The fries and customer service are worthy of 3 stars, worth trying depending on your palette I would not personally come back to this restaurant as I'm not much for sugary crepes but I know every palette is different. Good luck in your food advuntures!

Bekah C.

Yelp
Let me start by saying Mavericks is much more than just a creperie. They're a full fledged breakfast, brunch, & lunch restaurant. You seat yourself and order at the counter. The menu is HUGE. We definitely had ordering remorse when we saw someone's French toast come out. (Next time!) My omelette was seriously one of the best I've had in a long time, the fries were equally as good, and the rest was just as delicious. My boyfriend ordered the breakfast burrito and loved it so much he never saved me a bite! So that's always a good sign. I would definitely stop by Maverick's Creperie if I'm in the area again. Thanks for the delicious grub!

Yelp
If you're looking for crepes this is a perfect place for a filling breakfast or brunch. In addition to savory crepes they have a variety of breakfast dishes, sweet crepes, and drinks. You order at the front and sit down wherever you'd like! There's outdoor and indoor seating. I had the Tuscany crepe and it was delicious! It had chicken, pesto, mushroom, cheese, tomatoes and almonds. The flavors matched super well together. The other crepe is the TJ Fajita and it was also super good but it could have used some more spice. Overall, I would love to come here again. They were definitely busy when I went and the wait was long but it was worth it!

Yelp
Cute tables, brightly colored walls. Walk up to order so you can enjoy your meal and leave on your time. Enjoyed the egg Benedict, pancake with banana and coconut, and Provence omelet. Skip the potatoes. I went with the greens on the side. Yummy dressing. Wish my banana and coconut was cooked inside the pancake. All around, I would come back.

Yelp
This place was bomb.com for breakfast. The woman who took our order was super knowledgeable of the menu and very kind. It's really cute in here, too. I'm not usually a waffle/pancake lover, but for some reason I have been craving them lately. The waffle was DELICIOUS! It was perfectly cooked and the batter they used was really flavorful and yum. I got strawberries and blueberries on top and I have to say, I'm a sucker for places that put fresh fruit on top rather than that wack syrupy stuff. I also ordered a coffee, which was enjoyable as well. Some breakfast spots go super cheap on the coffee beans, and this was not that way--by taste at least. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito--and he can be a little picky about them. He said it was really, really good and it kept him full until dinner. It came out really hot, tasted fresh, and was a good mix of ingredients inside of it. We will definitely be back on our next trip to HMB and it will be somewhere I highly recommend to friends visiting as well!

Yelp
I love, love, love Maverick's Crepes in Half Moon Bay. We live in Santa Cruz but often drive 40+ minutes to have the most wonderful lunch or early dinner. I usually create my own crepe and they have such a great selection of fresh ingredients that it's always amazing. I always say that someday I am going to get a dessert crepe to go but next time I promise myself. Friendly staff and very clean and welcoming ambiance.

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious!! The savory crepes were very thick and crispy with lots of flavor. I would give it a 5 stars if the service was better. Most of the workers looked like they did not want to be there and when our order was being taken, the woman was a bit rude/standoffish.

S P.

Yelp
We were camping in Half Moon Bay and was leaving but was hungry and found this place on yelp. Glad we did! Food was delicious and service was excellent! You order at the counter and seat yourself. It was pretty busy, but we were able to find seats right away. Will definitely go back if we visit again!

Ulyssa R.

Yelp
I have never had a savory crepe before, and this blew me away! They had a gluten free option for the crepe, which was surprising and delicious! I got it with smoked salmon, and ate so much I almost forgot to take a picture! I would love to come here again. Plus, they have outdoor seating so I was able to bring my dog to our brunch date. The servers brought her a little water bowl :)

Reena S.

Yelp
Everything was delicious! We enjoyed a burrito, pancake, scrambled eggs and an omelette. Service was fast and friendly. You seat yourself and order at the front counter. Tables were clean and it had a cute cafe vibe with indoor and outdoor seating.

Tommy L.

Yelp
Back for more good food, I had the Huevos Rancheros again. Looking forward to my next visit.

Sonu N.

Yelp
We stopped here on the way to the beach-- cute neighborhood joint with a friendly vibe! Plenty of parking in the plaza. Staff were helpful and nice. It was hard to choose what to get-- lots of vegetarian options!! I couldn't say no to The Mediterranean Sandwich-- I love eggplant. The sandwich did not disappoint-- flavorful and colorful with generous sides. We shared a Riviera sweet crepe (Nutella, bananas & strawberries)-- delicious! Will be back when back on the coast!

Zeke M.

Yelp
Great food and great people. Perfect place to start the day before walking on the beach.

Emma Z.

Yelp
Food was mediocre and I ordered the Riviera (supposedly the local fav). Service was horrible. Food took almost an hour to come out. I don't understand why it took so long to spread a small amount of Nutella and a chopped strawberry on a crepe. When I asked about the status of my order, the lady was very dismissive and answered with an attitude. Won't be returning. Crepe was also dry and tasted like it was stale.

Akash S.

Yelp
Everything about this place is amazing, ESPECIALLY the food. There were so many options, however I picked the Santa Fe crepe and it was such a good cheesy, egg, sausage type of crepe I loved it so much!!! (Especially with hot sauce) they also add greens as well which is a good balance with the meal. The environment is so nice and cozy, the service is so quick?! I was expecting a 20 minute wait but it was literally less than 10 minutes. Yall ate

Analeah R.

Yelp
4/5 The food was great! Definitely not what I had expected but it was very good. The plates were a normal size not too big but good enough to fill up. The service is the main reason I am giving this place a 4/5. The service was good to bring us stuff and the waitress gave us everything we wanted, but her attitude was not very enjoyable. She would never smile and yes I do understand it's work but I think she could have cracked a smile. The was smaller than expected but I never felt crowded l. It was a seat yourself place and you would order first and then sit down. I would recommend this if you can to this area. I will be coming back here!

Kami R.

Yelp
Came from out of town and decided to try this place due to the reviews ! They did not let down! 4 meals and payed 79 dollars before tip ! The place is very cozy and love there dishes The two mini burgers are simply a kids meal but still very yummy and a good portion . 7/10 The baja omelette was really good super flavorful and would definitely get again . 10/10 French toast were so good like really good you need to get these for the table 10/10 The turf or surf sandwich don't remember the name but this was my favorite thing . the mixed greens and fries were so good . 10/10

Luna R.

Yelp
Service was awesome. Very friendly staff and super helpful. Food was delish and fulfilling. I would recommend and definitely return.

Yelp
So I was looking for a new place to try on the coast and Yelpers really like this place...and I did too. The food was good and the service was equally good. Two things that irked me a little. First while waiting inside to order...no one was working the register to take my order. Although numerous workers walked past us several times, no one looked at us, said we'll be right with you, etc. About 6-7 minutes in, someone finally came over. The servers don't take your order at the table....you order inside. The second thing was our soda refill request was denied because they don't offer refills. I don't know of any restaurant that doesn't refill soda, iced tea, coffee, etc. As we were leaving, I looked at their giant menu on the front window of the business. Guess what I found...under sodas it says FREE REFILLS...then lists root beer, Coke, Diet Coke, cherry Coke and ginger ale. I noticed a little asterisk next to sodas so I looked at the bottom of the menu. The asterisk means applies to same day purchase only and dine in. I was both!! I took a photo!

Yelp
We stopped here for lunch and really enjoyed the good food and casual atmosphere. I got the ham and Cheddar savory crepe and the crepe was large and toasty. It came with both beer-battered fries and a side salad, which was nice; many places only offer one or the other. Beer-battered fries were delicious -- so much better than regular fries! My husband had the Maverick sandwich (chicken, Brie, and apple on Dutch Crunch) and it was nicely seasoned and definitely filling. Dessert crepes seemed to be smaller than savory crepes, but they come with a scoop of ice cream. The menu is huge, so there is definitely something for everyone. Like ice cream.

Craig W.

Yelp
This restaurant has been a strong 4 for us. The food has been really good for us, but we have been here only for breakfast. The seasoned potatoes could do with a bit more "seasoned". They're nothing special, and sometimes a bit on the dry side. On our last visit I had the breakfast burrito with bacon and it was packed. I really enjoyed it. My wife had the Mazatlan crepe and she was happy with her choice. Next time she will probably try the chilaquiles.

Diana D.

Yelp
We came here on a Saturday morning around 9.30ish. Most of the tables inside were occupied. Thankfully, they do have about 2-3 tables outside, and the weather was not too cold, so we chose to sit outside after ordering at the counter. The ambiance inside was too noisy, and the seating looked cramped. We ordered a breakfast burrito and the smoked salmon eggs benedict (Cote d'Azur). It took almost 30 minutes for the food to be served, so don't go here if you are hungry and looking to grab something quick. The food was alright; the eggs in the benedict were overcooked and looked closer to boiled than poached. I love a good breakfast place, but unfortunately, this is not one that I would recommend.

Yelp
I throughly enjoyed my experience at Mavericks Creperie! Firstly, the staff was very welcoming, right as my family and I walked through the door we were greeted with "welcome ins" from multiple staff members, along with professional smiles. The food was delicious as well, proving to be made from fresh ingredients and containing warmth when it was placed upon our table. And lastly, the overall atmosphere of this restaurant was quite calming, containing a beach like charm and chill vibe! If you are in the Half Moon Bay Area, checking out this restaurant is a well worthy place to spend your time (:

Kevin L.

Yelp
This place was awesome! You walk in, grab a menu and seat and then go up to the counter to order. The apple juice and coffee were super fresh. I ordered the huevos rancheros that came with chorizo and was hands down the best HR I have ever had. The chorizo was so good. Their bacon was also some of the best that we have had. We might actually have to go there again this morning on our way out of town.

Jennifer J.

Yelp
This was my first time trying Mavericks, I found them on yelp. The reviews & food photos looked amazing. I was in town for my birthday, so we were looking for a good breakfast spot to start the day. When you walk in, there is a menu placed on the front counters and you can look at it before you place your order. You have to go to the register to order, but we picked out table out first in case it got busy. We had an infant with us, so the employees were great and made sure we had space. I ended up knowing one of the employees and of course she was an awesome help for food choices and popular items on the menu. (thanks Justine!) I ordered the French toast with fruit, it was delicious!

Kathryn C.

Yelp
Came here around noon on the Friday before Memorial Day. It's in a plaza with a grocery store and next to Peet's coffee. They've done a nice job making it cute and cheerful. There were 1-2 tables already seated. They have menus when you enter + on chalk boards up top. You walk up to the counter to order and get a number, then they bring the food when it's ready. I asked for a savory crepe recommendation-- they recommended the Tuscany. I was in the mood for some chicken and mushroom (this also comes with pesto, provolone and tomato) and it was delicious. The side of salad was fresh, crunchy and refreshing! The beer batteries fries were satisfyingly crisp and crunchy. Hubs got the El Paso which is corned beef. The bread served on the side was fluffy and generously thick cut. Coffee came in cute mugs and was a good accompaniment. Overall, cute ambience and great food! Wonderful breakfast, brunch or lunch spot!

Karen F.

Yelp
My friend and I had lunch at Mavericks Creperie on 01/31/25. The food was great, the service was great and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Also, they gave you plenty that I had to take some of it home for later. We will be back soon!

Inverleith F.

Yelp
Heading back up to the Bay from Santa Cruz we stopped here as the Yelp photos and reviews were great. Well, the ordering process is easy but the wait is very bad. While there were 8 food items ordered ahead of us, our food didn't arrive for almost 20 minutes. I watched as others ahead received their food one plate at a time, versus everyone all at once. My first clue that there was a problem today was that I ordered the spinach and mushroom crepe with the home fries and was told they had no more potatoes. Ummm, there is a store right next door. So, my hubby's food comes first followed three minutes later by mine. His Benedict came with great beer battered fries and the traditional two eggs with hollandaise. However, the tomatoes were Roma tomatoes which are typically NOT used this way and the eggs were overcooked aka, not runny. The sauce was also cold. I asked the wait person to re-do his eggs and they said okay. 15 minutes later and still no eggs. Of course, everything was cold in his plate. So I went to the entrance where the food was coming out and the woman said she told them to re-do the eggs but they were working on orders. I told her that the eggs should have taken priority. She had no response so I told her we were leaving. No apology, no effort to refund our meal. It's a great location for parking and the food looks good. My crepe was good and the simple salad of leafy greens that were lightly dressed and a sprinkle of carrots was good. I can't come back given this experience unfortunately. It's a Wednesday afternoon so it wasn't busy. Tables took a while to be bussed and cleaned. Crumbs were still on the chair. Yes, it's hard for me not to be critical as I've worked in food service so, to the business, please review your processes and customer care.

Shaun S.

Yelp
Everything we ordered was so delicious. I recommend the iced green tea and the half moon bay crepe. The crepes were some of the best I've ever had!

Penny M.

Yelp
Located next to New Leaf market, this restaurant specializes in crepes but also has many other options. I've eaten here a few times and never had crepes, mainly because I wasn't in the mood for them. Today I had the Crepe d'Azur, which is a eggs Benedict with Salmon, delicious! I really like that it is fairly traditional, meaning on a muffin with spinach, yet has Salmon instead of ham. Their home fries are really good, the potatoes are chopped up small and slightly crispy, yum! I had a hot chocolate, it was a cool and foggy day, and it was perfect with a whipped cream topping. Service is friendly and they even come around to see if you need anything, but not constantly, perfect. Pleasant environment, the restaurant is basically a square with rows of tables, a few outside tables too.

Aidan B.

Yelp
The food at Maverick's is actually pretty good - every time I come, I get a Baja. However, every time I come I also am reminded why I don't come here more often. Another review said they cook orders one at a time - I had a hard time believing that was true, until my most recent visit when, once again, I was wondering why it was a 45 minute wait for a scramble, and asked. Turns out, while it doesn't look like one at a time, it's pretty close. We sat down at just after noon and did not get our food until past 12:40. Since I live nearby, I'd probably come every weekend if they tightened up their kitchen operation - something all of their local competition has managed - because I do like the food. But a breakfast here takes longer to complete than probably anywhere else within ten miles, which is unfortunate.

Michelle V.

Yelp
We looked up this restaurant before a hike so we could forward to it towards the end LOL. The ordering process is easy. You order at the cashier and they bring the food to you. I didn't catch the name of the cashier/wserver, but she was so friendly! The menu has much more than just crepes. There's pastas, benedict's, omlettes, salads, sandwiches, and even an array of alcoholic drinks. I saw some people order their detox drink. I got the Tuscany crepe. You can't go wrong with a classic chicken pesto savory crepe. I enjoyed the almonds that they added for crunch. The provolone and feta made for two cheese textures, gooey and crumbly. They definitely don't skimp on meat either. While crepes can look like a small pocket of food, don't let it deceive you--this was just the right size for me, especially considering how flavorful/rich it was. Overall, this is a solid restaurant in HMB! Everyone was a big fan of the beer buttered fries. They were perfectly crispy and had the right thickness.

Tanya P.

Yelp
Found this little gem online.. My husband loves corned beef hash and NOT from a can.. The picture online of the corn beef cooked delicious so we decided to try it out.. It was delicious corn beef, and I had oatmeal strawberry pancakes cooked perfectly. Oh my gosh, we couldn't have been happier. Fresh squeeze orange juice delicious.!!!! You order your food at the regisyer up front and then they bring the food to your table.. .. the workers here were friendly. The place was busy, but we didn't wait too long for our food.. Really doesn't look like much is in an older shopping center but let me tell you I will definitely come here again! . .

Marge21 R.

Yelp
Like other reviewers mentioned, the food was very good. Friendly service. Good parking available. I'll definitely go back when I'm in half moon bay again.

Ron M.

Yelp
Had lunch at Mavericks for lunch. We ordered large Caesar's salad with Shanghai chicken. Shanghai chicken was pretty good. The salad needed a bit more Caesar dressing because it was kind of dry. I had an iced green tea with lemon and my date had ice water with lemon. I had never been to Mavericks before and it is definitely not the best place for a first date. Too noisy and chaotic! Standing in line to order food and drinks and then trying to find a table was not fun. We got a table while in line. My date went to sit at the open table while the busboy cleared and cleaned the table. I will not be going back.

Anna L.

Yelp
We stopped in Mavericks Creperie on a recent visit to Half Moon Bay. I love a great crepe and had high hopes judging by the line to order. The menu reminded me of Crepeville, a spot we enjoyed in Sacramento, because of the huge amount of variety. Sweet crepes, savory crepes, all types of breakfast dishes, sandwiches, salads and even pastas were offered. Ordering was simple aside from the line - place an order at the counter, take your number to a table and wait for your foods/drinks to be delivered. Service was quite friendly and they were accommodating when I asked that the marshmallows be left of my Kilauea crepe. My husband and I ordered two crepes and decided to split - the Kilauea (Nutella and peanut butter minus marshmallow) and the Jamaican (pan fried banana with a caramel rum sauce. The crepes were served with vanilla ice cream and whip cream - a little odd for breakfast, but who am I to say no. I preferred the Kilauea as did my husband even though we were both eager to try the Jamaican. However, I would have liked more Nutella as the peanut butter flavor overwhelmed. As for the Jamaican, we both agreed the caramel sauce lacked the rum flavor. It did take a while for our food to come out, but they were slammed the day we visited. I prefer it made fresh anyway so waiting was not an issue for us. I would return and try some of their other options. The breakfasts I saw come out looked good and the sandwich selection was large. I'm not sure I would order a crepe again.

Amanda R.

Yelp
If I could rate this establishment 6 stars, I would. I had THE BEST burger that I have ever had in my life. I added mushrooms and cheese to it. SO GOOD! I couldn't finish it and ate the leftovers later and it was still extraordinary. Cooked perfectly! At first, I wasn't thrilled for the price, but it was totally worth it and then some. Everyone working there was so kind. Bathrooms were clean. Line moved fast. I have no complaints. I wish they had a location in Texas.

Mariana M.

Yelp
Great bite! I tried the Cote D'Azur with fresh smoked salmon Benedict on English muffin with poached eggs, spinach and topped with hollandaise sauce. We came in, straight to register to place order. And then we just choose where to seat (theres options to sit inside and outside. Staff was friendly and even offered a sample of their juice blend. Sadly it wasn't freshly squeezed juice, but still refreshing. Good spot for a bite.

Yelp
When driving down Highway 1, I always go to the same breakfast places, and I needed to change it up this time. Mavericks Creperie has been on my list for a long time, and I finally had the opportunity to try it. I was so indecisive as to what I wanted. It took me forever because everything sounded so good on the menu. I ordered the Classic Surf (ham and mild cheddar) crepe with home potatoes, a side of bacon, and the Mavericks Breeze for my beverage. The service was great. There was always an employee at the counter ready to take orders. The ambiance was nice and open. The tables, counters, and floors were spotless of any debris. My food took some time to come out, as they do make it fresh to order. It's totally understandable. Once I received my plate, I was so excited to dive in. Their portions are very decent. I loved my crepe. The ham is diced up into small pieces, which makes it easy to eat. The mixed green salad was delicious and paired well with the crepe. I didn't like the home potatoes. Some pieces were undercooked and had the texture of raw potatoes. My side of bacon was excellent. Crispy and slightly burned. Yes, that is how I like my bacon. The Mavericks Breeze was perfection. It was a little spicy (the ginger), a little sweet (the honey), and citrusy (the oj). It was very crisp and refreshing after a hike and lengthy drive. I will gladly come back to Mavericks Creperie.

Yelp
Quick take: savory crepes Really good savory crepes. We ordered the Milano crepe and a Santa Fe crepe. Loved that there was salsa on top of the crepes. The actual crepe was really good. Edges were crispy and it wasn't soggy or overly chewy. Service was attentive. Restaurant is a good size. It's a walk up, order, and seat yourself type of place.

Yelp
Great food, service and ambience for this busy brunch place right at corner shopping center of Rt1 and Hwy 92 in half moon bay. Every weekend have been exploring coffee cafes, Bfast and brunch local places and bakeries! One of the past weekend craved for pancakes and checked this place out based on so many reviews. Order at counter and grab a seat inside or outdoor with assigned number. Food: ordered pancakes with blueberry n strawberry tops..nice warm n fluffy! Also wanted to try their popular crepes- got the mazatlan crepes- comes with fresh salsa n avacado. Tasted fresh and lightly spicy...I had normally tried sweet crepes mostly..so this was different and welcome taste! Also got coffee n refills, the cups didn't seem cleanly washed as one could see stains or were those some designed cups! ‍ Price: decent Service: had to wait 15-20 min after seated, coffee kept company . They were busy.

Yelp
Loved the Cyprus crepe- yum!!!! Delicious side salad too and I asked for a fruit cup instead of the beer battered fries or home fries (love potatoes so this was a tough decision! Trying to eat light!) - perfect! Waitstaff are super nice too! Many thanks Maverick's for a wonderful time!

Yelp
As a person who lives here, Mavericks has great food but the wait is terrible. Literally they do one order at at time, clearly doesn't know how to multitask when cooking. Don't come here if you have an appt elsewhere cause you'll be late waiting for your food.
