menu is limited so I would've expected better tasting. fairly fair fare if you get it. last time there will be our last. they sat us at a visibly dirty table with French fries and crayons under our seats and barely cleaned it after we told the hostess on their phones while we were moving. Goodbye mav, you had more than your fair share of chances! nice patio though!

The food here is delicious! The pretzel appetizer is as big a my head. 🤣 Staff was friendly and the restaurant (and bathroom) was clean. We will definitely be back!

Cool and laid back vibe here! This is a perfect sports bar type atmosphere to catch the game or for large groups. Our server was awesome and everyone seemed happy with their food.

Food is good, the bone in wings are always fresh and a good size when I get them. Drinks are what you would expect, in a good way. Consistent and they serve mules in a copper mug which not everywhere does. Margaritas are not too sweet. Atmosphere is upscale sports bar with a patio. This place is dog friendly in the summertime. I’ve brought my dog once when it was very hot and they were so kind constantly refilling our water with ice so I could give it to my dog.

My server was, Mike top tier service. Attentive and on top of things. In my eyes he only missed one thing, he didn't ask id i wanted dessert. Other then that he was a great server. For food I ordered the taco trio, one Mahi, one shrimp and, one chicken. The Mahi taco was good I feel the fish needed to have some salt to it but the overall taco was delicious and the mango was a nice touch. The shrimp taco was also good, Very flavorful. The chicken taco was my favorite, you can tell the chicken was hand battered and seasoned well. The presentation of the dish was beautiful. For sides I order green beans, mash potatoes, mac&cheese, and steamed broccoli. The green beans were cooked perfectly but were bland. The broccoli was also cooked to perfection but was very flavorful, buttery and seasoned well. You could tell the mashed potatoes were homemade, they did taste a touch flat. The white cheddar mac and cheese was by far my favorite. Maybe some of the best mac ive ever had. Noodles were cooked well the cheese sauce was very flavorful. Lastly I ordered a 10 piece bone in wing, Half asian, half bourbon bbq. The wings were phenomenal. Smoked with a crispy skin but juicy on the inside. Botg sauces were so satisfying but the bourbon ultimately stood out. Would have rated 5 stars if, the green beans weren't bland, The mash had wowed me a bit more, and the fish on the taco had been salted to bring out the wonderful Cajun flavor it had. Overall the restaurant was wonderful, service was amazing and the food is definitely worth a revisit.

I went there once with a large group when they weren't busy. They knew ahead of time that our business group was coming there (about 30 people) but they didn't have enough waiters working to be able to handle our group efficiently. So the service suffered not because of the waiters but because of the company's lack of planning. However, the food was great and I really like the atmosphere. I look forward to going back with a smaller group.

I recently dined at Mavericks and had an overall pleasant experience. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly our server, who was exceptionally caring and attentive. They offered fantastic recommendations and provided great assistance with the drink menu, making our choices easy and enjoyable. While the main dishes were good, they didn't quite reach the level of extraordinary. The crispy chicken tacos were enjoyable, but the chicken pieces were quite small, resulting in a taste dominated by tortilla rather than the flavorful chicken. Similarly, the Korean fried chicken sandwich was tasty, but the sauce lacked depth, missing that extra kick we were hoping for. The loaded fries are a definite grab, who doesn’t love crispy fries with melted cheese?? Honestly fantastic and checked all my boxes! Despite these minor setbacks, Mavericks is worth a visit, especially for the stellar service and welcoming atmosphere. If they can elevate their main dishes a bit more, it could easily become a five-star experience.

They have pretty good food but limited choices and highly priced. Drinks are good, not excellent but worth it. The staff is a hit or miss, sometimes nice and accommodating sometimes in a bad mood.. Atmosphere is trying to be high end.. but waiters are always super busy even on slow nights and it shows. I'd hire some more waiters, add some more menu options and decide if it's a sports bar or upscale dining? It's a mix of both with the worst of each.

I love this place!! Met a girlfriend here on a Thursday evening without a wait. Welcomed by friendly staff who made great recommendations. Lots of food & drinks. Gluten free flatbread was amazing!!!! Ambiance is casual with a touch of upscale flair. Parking is plentiful.

Not bad good, better then your typical bar food, however the service wasn't very good. Nick did his best but he was basically was alone on the island. Asian fusion pasta!! Super spicy!! Prime rib was solid overall good taste. Hot honey chicken was super spicy! Service should be better for the overall taste of the food, it seems like a scratch kitchen.

I was lured in by the fact they have Ace pineapple cider on tap. I ordered the giant one and it was blissful on a Friday night. They have some great drinks here other than cider though too. We started with the mac and cheese balls. Small portion of six and they were bland unless you dunked it into the sauce. Where was the pepperjack? Not bad but not what we were expecting. Dinner itself was fabulous. My husband loved his shrimp tacos. Generous with both protein and toppings. I went with the Ahi tuna California bowl. Huge bowl full of rice, crisp fresh veggies, creamy avocado and a solid portion of perfectly seared tuna. I loved both the sauces and mixing and matching each bite. The halved cherry tomatoes, shedded carrot and crunchy cucumbers really provided that textural contrast and colorful appeal. Yum. Service was fast, accurate and friendly. Atmosphere was very sports bar still but airier and brighter somehow. Plenty of TVs with the Masters on though. We took a prime rib dip sandwich to my dad and a cobb salad to my mom and they were equally delighted. My husbands already thinking about which app we'll try next time. We will be back soon.

Good lunch time menu. The portions are enough to take some home. Good service, attentive staff. The bar is amazing, and it is a wide open space with plenty of room. It's a clean , comfortable place.

Mavericks is a good place to hang out if you want to grab a quick bite to eat or catch a game . The bar food is pretty good. Our bartender gave excellent service and the drinks were on point. I highly recommend the place if you're looking for a late night hang out spot in Canton

Probably one of my newer favorite restaurants. They have great drinks and amazing food. I'm addicted to their California bowls!!

Last time here. Done with it. Was seated at a visibly dirty r table with food and crayons on the floor. Moved to the next table after telling the hostess. Table was never cleaned.

I enjoy this place quite a bit. Going through some changes with TVs and what not at this time. Love the bar area and staff are great. Enclosed outside area is great for large groups. My fave is the California bowl and the Korean chicken sandwich. Brunch is good too with the Hangover skillet being tops for me. Beer selection is very good.

The food choices here are really good. They have good quality food that pair well with their drinks. I love their cocktails and they even have a great happy hour as well. Their service is awesome and this place has a good amount of seating. This place is perfect for a casual drink and meal.

We've been to both locations the past few days. Great atmosphere. My kids liked the pizza. Very reasonable kids menu. Prime rib sandwich and burgers are great. Try the giant pretzel appetizer, it's worth the price of admission. Staff at both locations was very friendly.

Overall rating: 3.9 Visited the bar from out of state & was very pleasantly surprised! I did a flight and the portion is very large for a petite person. Definitely would recommend sharing with someone else. Low rating because while the staff was friendly, so hard to get a hold of with very little customers. We ended up ordering from the hostess, then to close the tab took very long. I was convinced she left, only to realize a few people have experienced this by reading the reviews.

There is parking in the front and back. Ambiance is upbeat and a sports bar. There is plenty of seating. It can be loud. There are a variety of different items on the menu.

It's always a good time at Mavericks! The food is great - I personally get the grilled chicken sandwich with Cajun fries. Their apps are where they really shine, specifically the nachos, the pretzel, and the flatbreads. No matter how busy they are, and they usually are very busy, the service is always quick and attentive. This is the perfect spot to hang out with friends and grab some good food and drinks! Plus, their patio section in the summer is great and they allow pets, which makes it the perfect place to grab dinner with your pup.

The food is always great and the staff is always nice. The giant pretzel is a must and they have plenty of drinks to choose from. It is always clean and there is an outside area for seating and also a sunroom which we enjoy and did have a dog sitting next to us at a table so I assume they are allowed.

Dog friendly! Great service and food! Why haven't I been here?! I learned about Maverick's from another dog mom. Finally checked it out! We were immediately seated on the patio. It's heated so it's great year round. Our hostess and waiter were wonderful. The entire staff at Maverick's is so kind and attentive. After being seated, we were given waters for the humans and for our pup. While we were figuring out what we wanted for lunch, our pup was treated to some bacon. Love that bacon is complimentary for all pups! For lunch, we ordered the California bowl with seared ahi and the prime rib sandwich. Portions are large! The food is delicious. Great experience and can't wait to go back!

Great atmosphere for a quick bite! Food was solid American cuisine. Manageable cost for a few beers, appetizers and mains! Also offered nice flexibility when I asked if a particular pizza could be made as a flatbread

Me & my husband we love this place. This is one of our go-to places for weekends. Though we only end up eating onion rings, truffle fries . They are really quick at service. The waiter keeps a check at regular intervals to assure we are doing ok. Game nights at this place is must. Love the vibe here!

I've been here a few times and loved it. The greatest thing is that they let dogs on their side patio, which is covered/closed in and heated in winter! There's lots of options to bring your dog out when the weather's nice, but this is a great option for colder months. They even bring out a water bowl and bacon for dogs:) The food is great! I've gotten the Tuscan chicken and the ahi tuna salad and both were fantastic. They also have an extensive beer list. There are some cute fire tables/comfy patio furniture out front where it's an actually outdoors patio, but no dogs allowed in that section. Service was great too

We love this place and go regularly. The beer selection is amazing! They also have good wine options. My husband loves their sandwiches, but the California Bowl is the BEST. I get it every time and could eat it every single day. We have done appetizers and enjoyed those as well.

It's always a good time going to Mavericks! Myself n my son went here on a Saturday for brunch and it never disappoints!! Our server suggested the apple cider mimosas and OMG they were really good!!! We then ordered the chicken tacos (3) and I ordered the Mahi Mahi Tacos (2) which were really tasty n filling!!! I even forgot to take pictures ‍‍ it's my stomach's fault!! the ambience was good, able to hear one another talk and enjoy the meal!!! Will definitely return!!! They also had GREAT brunch specials going on as well but only on Saturday and Sunday!!!

This is a solid choice if you are looking for good food in a fun setting. Bonus if you are a bet drinker because they have so many choices. This was formerly House of Beer. I think their menu has a lot of delicious choices, ones that you might not expect to find in a bar/sports bar type setting. Their soups are always delicious and home made. My go to is always the California bowl, with either chicken or ahi tuna. The fish and chips are also good. Want to watch a game? This is the perfect place. Have a large party? Their indoor patio area is great for large parties. Want to price how smart you are once and for all... Check out the live trivia. Service has always been good but you may wait on the weekends. Had a great experience here. Our waitress was super personable and attentive. We got our food quickly and everyone really enjoyed their meal. I have a gluten allergy and was able to eat here comfortably. I had a grilled chicken sandwich on their gluten free bun which it was actually a good bun. I couldn't have their fries due to the shared fryer but I had gotten a salad and their ranch is gluten free (yay). They had a few other options and their menu is marked! My only complaint was where we sat was a little tight and hard to get in and out because we were in their boot table situation and had two other similar seating situations and they were all just a little too close. It was hard for our waitress to get to us all. So I'd recommend not sitting in those areas if you have a larger group.

My bf and I come here frequently, and typically sit at the bar. They have a fantastic beer list and the food is good. The service is typically pretty good and the staff are friendly.

Been to Maverick's several times but never got around to reviewing it. I had a wonderful late-night meal there tonight with a group of friends coming from a USA Hockey game. The beer was excellent - I had a rare Porter and enjoyed it. My friends had some brews you can't get at most other places in Canton. The server was delightful. Helpful with the menu, quick with refills and offers to help - better than I could have expected from busy staff at 10:00pm on a Saturday night. She warned me the Spicy Korean Chicken Sandwich was going to be spicy - and she was right! I love spicy - and this sandwich delivered. But it isn't for the faint of heart; it got my sinuses rolling for sure. I would order it again in a heartbeat - the slaw on it was an excellent counterbalance to the spice and flavor of the chicken itself. We also had a very pleasing spinach artichoke dip that I would order by the bucketful if I could afford it. The chips that came with it COULD have been a bit more crispy/fresh, but that's a minor qualm. I hadn't been to Maverick's in a year or so, and that's a travesty. I need to get back soon, for the service, the beer list, and the great food. This is a place we're lucky to have here in Canton.

I love everything about this place! My go to to meet up with my dad or bf for dinner. The servers are always attentive but not hover; make sure drinks are filled before they're empty. Everything i've tried is fantastic, I love the mac n cheese balls, Goat cheese pizza, tacos and the wings are so crispy!!! Wings are the star of the show here for sure. I hope this place never closes. Cocktails are yummy (3.5 stars on those for prices)

Pizza completely bland. No sauce. No flavor. Tastes like a child microwaves a floured tortilla with cheese on it. Mac and cheese bites were very basic, also bland. Beer was okay for a bar. Service was good, took the waitress a little while to put our food in and took forever to bring over the check, but she was nice. Hosts were super stuck up and just sassy high-schoolers. Wouldn't recommend. Looks nicer than it is. Restaurant was also a lot smaller inside than I thought.

Mavericks has a big food and drink menu, and I definitely plan to go back to try more of it since it was so hard to decide and it's all sooo good! Definitely has bar vibes but is still family friendly. Super cute patio area, and you can even bring your dogs on the outside. They are usually pretty busy but we have always had great service! You have to try the pretzel to start out with!

since it was a nice day we decided to dine on the patio. immediately bees began attacking. Another table complained and the server said, "you're eating outside". There was no offer to move both tables inside. our nice lunch was ruined as my son is allergic to Bees. we asked to speak to the manager again told us that we were eating outside. He was dismissive and rude. Also, the beer was fat and the pancake was awful. Extremely disappointing

Great food and a great alcohol selection for drinks! This was our first stop in a drinking and eating tour tour around the area. It used to be called World of Beers or something like that, so we were excited to see if anything had changed in here from the last time some of us were here. Service definitely seemed to have improved. We all just wanted to get a small bite to eat because we had other stops. It was funny to see that big pretzel still on the menu. We didn't get it because when you take one piece off of it, the whole things falls off the hook. Instead, many of us got tacos and pizza. It was all really delicious and the craft beers we had were also really good!

Great Atmosphere Lots of room & TV's Very good service. Pizza was the best. All three of us went this Friday and my kid got the Sliders with Tots; wife got a pizza and I went with the Tacos. This place is good for groups and the vibe here was perfect for a Friday! We will visit again. Its located right on Ford Road.

Finally made my way to this establishment. There was a short wait to be seated. Service was prompt and friendly. My order of Pasta Alfredo with chicken was on the bland side and also fairly dry. Upon asking for additional Alfredo sauce, I was informed that there would be an additional charge of $2.50. I declined. The next day I attempted to eat the reminder of my meal and of course it was even dryer than before. I am aware that occasionally customers are given the wrong information and therefore I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager who then confirmed that the $2.50 charge was correct. This meal was $21.00 and the restaurant can't provide a spoonful of sauce. Wow!!!! What'd you charge for shredded Parmesan cheese???

I've only had a few things here, but each time we go it's been good! It's an easy place to bring the kids to and there are a lot of vegetarian options! The price is pretty reasonable and the service is always quick and friendly

This place is great. I love coming here with friends for night caps or just late night eats. They do offer both indoor and outdoor seating. This place gets a little busy on the weekends so you might have a small wait. The establishment is very clean and every time I've come here I've had great service. They have a great list of drinks on tap, and you can also sample them before committing to one.

My husband and I really enjoy the glazed salmon here. Unfortunately, I had to utilize the restroom and it was EXTREMELY DIRTY. Not only was there toilet paper on the floor, the sanitary napkin disposal container was overflowing along with the garbage overflowing! There was a stitch that was very unpleasant! The bathroom sink was filthy. There was an extreme amount of "gunk" on the underside of both sinks. After seeing all this we noticed that there were at least two groups of workers standing around talking and laughing. I wanted to ask if somebody could clean the bathroom!!! Now I'm wondering what the kitchen looks like

We love Maverick's! It's a great local watering hole and the patio is dog-friendly. They even bring bacon and water for your pup, which is amazing. I tried the chipotle bbq chicken flatbread last time and was thoroughly impressed. The bread was crispy and the chicken (and bacon) were cooked perfectly. The servers are very nice and handled our big group really well!

I always find this place good for a beer and a bite to eat. However, wondering why this beer joint is so often out of our favorite beers... I love to highlight professional service at restaurants but this place often has me shaking my head. Will I be back? Probably

This is a very pretty place and love the TV's. Came in sat at the bar, it took 25 minutes to get the hockey game on. I had to ask 3 times and 3 different bartenders. I don't eat out much cause I have allergies to salt asked to have light seasoning on my burger. Good medium rare was good but I still had to take medication when I got back cause too much seasoning. My fries were double dipped had to ask for new ones. The 3 guys behind the bar were on their phones more than they checked on the guest and one guy could stop holding his cracked phone!!!! They were gabbing more to themselves like school girls. Don't recommend this corporate place at all!!!

Nice restaurant. The food was good. The service was excellent. The restaurant was crowded for a Thursday night. Which is a good sign.

Not our first time here and won't be our last! Hosts were amazing as we had a huge group and quoted time was right on! Dean was our server for the night and he was great! Every time we are here we get the German pretzel and the homemade cheese sauce is delicious! This time I I tried the Mavs Tacos, one Crispy Chicken and one Steak! Both amazing but I will say the spicy lime aioli was spicy for me but topped with sour cream and it was great! Also his boneless wings looked absolutely delicious and were real chicken breasts that were made into strips! I will be trying when we go back!

Went here pretty late on v-Day. Not for Valentine's Day but because there isn't many late night options these days. But I was highly satisfied! Food: I have been on a "health" challenge the past four weeks so I decided v-Day could be my one cheat meal. I got a classic bacon cheeseburger with fries and he got the ribeye with Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. He was hungry so I couldn't grab a picture but he enjoyed the Mac and cheese the best. My burger was pretty good a little on the dryer side especially since I got it medium. But I wasn't mad at it plus the fries hit the spot after four weeks of no fries but the real winner was the wings!! We got an appetizer of sriracha dry rub wings with their house ranch and they were perfect (move out the way BWW) . Crispy, piping hot and a nice size. Definitely have to go back just for the wings. Service was nice and quick and and the ambiance was a nice open area and it was quite nice for a bar. Im glad we stopped here and they were open until midnight!

I have heard good things about Maverick's and decided to give them a try. I ordered the Mav Wildfire Pasta, boneless wings and a cup of chili. Let's start with the good, the wings were light airy and really good- I would try them again. The bad...the chili tasted like boiled beef in water, absolutely void of any flavor whatsoever. The pasta really disappointed though! If I'm ordering a spicy pasta called wildfire, I expect some heat, or any heat for that matter. It tasted like pasta in an average cream sauce with a large amount of melted cheese. My 7 year old even tried several bites and didn't think it was spicy at all. Overall I was very disappointed and am not sure I will return. I will say, I did carry out and the staff was very friendly and my order was on time and hot when I got it, so a positive on the service.

There are so many restaurants in the area and Mavericks is just ok. We had the pizza and it was nothing special as was the service. We did notice that a lot of people ordered the large pretzel. The environment is like a sports bar and was on the noisy side. The restaurant is also dog friendly.

I had a recent dinner with a former co-worker at this establishment which used to be World of Beer. The place was surprisingly busy for a weeknight. There was no local live athletic event happening that evening so for a large sports bar and grill to be packed with customers surprised me. A waitlist was in effect for a regular table in the outer perimeter of the dining area. Meanwhile, the high-top tables near the bar had a couple of openings so we settled there. The waitstaff looked young, probably high school teenagers and college-aged kids. They were scurrying around trying to keep pace with the orders. The menu offered typical bar fare. The most interesting item I saw was the German Pretzel which was the soft, giant Bavarian variety that you see sold at concessions stands of sporting venues. I decided on the North Atlantic Salmon plate which was one of the healthier choices available. The salmon filet was lightly seasoned and grilled. Red skin mashed potatoes and broccoli (instead of the menu listed steamed French green beans) were the accompanying side dishes. Nothing stood out about this entree except that the fish was cooked too long. The service from our waitress was attentive although she needed to speak up because the ambient noise was loud.

We met our friends here for dinner last night with our two little dachshunds. We were sat at a high top table and we were told by an embarrassed waitress that the manger said we couldn't have our dogs in our laps. We would have left at that point if not for our friends. They are supposed to offer water and a stick of bacon to the dogs but that never happened. I had to ask for water for them. Then our on dog is a little nervous so when other dogs came in she would bark a couple times. This could have been prevented if we could have held our dogs. The music was so loud we couldn't hear our friends conversations at our own table so I doubt a couple barks was bothering anyone especially because it was a dog friendly patio. The manger comes out and tells my wife that she should take our dog outside to take a break. The waitress did a great job with this 9 top table except for not offering water to the dogs. The manager was a jerk before we even got there getting on the waitress that the dogs can't sit in our laps. We will never be back and we will tell all of our friends about this horrible experience.

The service was good, and the food was good. I was glad it was open after a late night movie.

The ambience is relaxing here. Also great for meeting up with your group of friends. Plenty of seating choices. They also allow you to bring your dog into the porch area. Very cool! I got the Ahi Salad. The dressing had a delicious taste but the salad was swimming in the dressing. I wish I had asked for it on the side. It said it was tossed in the dressing but it was a bit much. Other than that there was a decent amount of tuna on the salad. I like the drink selection. It's the right amount of choices. It's not too overwhelming where your eyes glaze over because you don't know where to start.
