Great family owned pizza! We bought half a dozen pizzas for a family party and everyone loved them! Not only super tasty, but also very unique combinations - a number of family members commented that they've never had that on a pizza before (like celery on the buffalo pizza) but everything was delicious. Will definitely be going back, whether for a tasty meal for ourselves or to impress the next time we host. Highly recommended!

Google
This is my new favorite pie place. Delicious hand tossed crust, and sauce, plenty of options for toppings, delivered hot and timely. Ordered my pizza over the phone for delivery. Mitch, who took my order was so nice, I'm giving 5 stars for the atmosphere, trusting that when I dine there it will be equally friendly, personable and attentive.

Google
Grabbed a 12 in pizza and the Italian chopped salad to go. It was ready quickly! Loved the selection of soda at the shop. The salad and dressing was very good, the dressing was homemade which was a pleasant surprise. The pizza was fantastic. Perfect ratio of cheese:sauce:crust. The crust is nice and thin and crispy done in a NY style. Will definitely be back the next time I’m in the area

Google
This pie had all the things. Thin yet chewy, crust. Good amount of cheese. The sauce was spot on! Not too much, not too little, plus it had a great flavor. Fresh toppings finished this delicious pie off. Definitely recommend you grab your favorite style and enjoy. You won’t be disappointed.

Google
AMAZING Pizza!!! Service, always friendly and atmosphere, a comfy pick-up bench, not fancy but you won't sit long. We had our usual, Large Pepperoni, Green Olive & Mushrooms...Yum! If you have never been, you are missing out.

Google
I orders several pizzas for one ofy accounts. Mitch was great to work with. The pizzas were hot and warm on delivery and incredibly delicious! Rave reviews from my clients. One said it tastes like Philadelphia. The sauce was fabulous. Thank you so much for your assistance Mavericks. I'm still salivating.

Google
Fantastic pizza made and served (or delivered) by great people. The small, locally owned business has a variety of great offerings beyond pizza as well. Highly recommended.

Google
We have our St Paul favs and were trying out a new neighborhood spot and this is bumping to the top of our list. The pizza all around is 10/10 but extra points for the homemade sausage- soooo good. We can’t wait to try way more off the menu!

Yelp
Mavericks pizza is a gem in highland park! The brick oven pizza is made quickly and so delicious! The veggies were fresh and delicious, and I love that they also have gluten free and dairy free options as well. The owner is so polite and kind and makes you feel welcome. He creates polite conversation and it feels like he creates a great sense of community. Definitely a place you want to come back to. I have tried a few pizzas from here and each one was uniquely flavorful and delicious! They also offer a discount if you use cash! :) 10/10 I will be returning!

Yelp
I've tried to order from this place multiple times during their hours, and numerous times there has been no answer and no availability to order online. Very unreliable business. I wouldn't recommend.

Yelp
Mavericks is a takeout-only spot in a quaint residential neighborhood in St. Paul. It serves New York style pizzas and has vegan cheese. As always, 3 stars is not a bad review in my book. I got a 16" pizza with vegan cheese and 3 toppings ($30 with tax). It was tasty with a good crust and nicely-melted vegan cheese. I didn't find out the brand, but I suspect it's either Violife or Plantings. If Mavericks had vegan pepperoni or sausage, I'd be back often. In St. Paul, I slightly prefer Big River Pizza downtown which has a better crust and tastier cheese. But Mavericks is still solid.

Yelp
¡¡My new favorite local go-to for New York style pizza!! So glad that I tried this place, I was in desperate need of a NY style pizza! Ordered out a 16 inch pepperoni pizza and their garlic cheese bread with two sides of ranch. First, let's talk about the ranch, OMG, definitely homemade and tastes amazing! Now we got to talk about the pizza, the crust, the sauce, the pepperoni, everything about the pizza was sensational, everything and more that I wanted for my pizza craving. Even the garlic cheese bread was so good, it came in its own little pizza box, and it was super flavorful. It even had a side of marinara, which was so bold in the best possible way. I would absolutely come back to Mavericks. I really like their pizza and their sauce is really flavorful. Of note, there is no inside seating, takeout or delivery is going to be your best bet! This is your calling to check out Mavericks Pizza in Saint Paul if you're a NY pizza fan!

Yelp
Needed a real-deal kind of meal to kick off the New Year last night. This is some of our favorite pizza in our local St Paul bubble. Going by this unassuming little joint on Randolph Ave, if you blink you might miss it. They're a St Paul gem specializing in NY Style pizza and so local they don't even have an Insta page. We ordered: The Carnivore ~ Red sauce, Mavericks cheese blend, Canadian Bacon, salami, pepperoni, homemade Italian sausage, and smoked bacon. The crust is nice and crisp outside and chewy inside--exactly what you want in a NY pie. The sauce is more spicy than sweet and toppings are so loaded they're falling off. A good ole fashioned fold takes care of that. Check out their website at maverickspizza.com and order for pick-up or delivery by calling 651-698-3439. You'll be instantly Livin for these killer pies.

Yelp
We didn't realize Papa Nino's had closed and we kept watching to see signs of them reopening from the effects of COVID. We finally saw life and my husband went down to get some pizza and wings but he found that Papa Nino's was no longer there and a new family pizza place called Maverick's was in it's place. We were anxious to try a new family restaurant and we were not disappointed. Not only were the new owners very friendly and easy to talk to while waiting for our order but the pizza and wings were really, really good. You truly have to try this place if you haven't already. They have other things on the menu like calzones, rib tips, meatballs and mozzarella sticks. They also serve pizza by the slice, which is kind of hard to find. I hope they get a lot of business and stay around for a long time. The only problem I see is the location. They are behind the Chevron on Cottage and Louise and it's a bit hard to see. Just do everyone a favor and spread the word.

Yelp
What an excellent neighborhood spot to pick up some pizzas. Make sure you know it's takeout only - no spot to eat here! My partner and I picked up 2 personal (8" pizzas) and one order of the cheese fries. We called ahead and picked up the pizzas which were ready upon getting there. The cooler full of classic bottled sodas caught our eye so we picked out two of them to go with our food on the 90 degree day. The root beer and strawberry sodas went perfectly with the hot pies! I ordered the Sydney, a garlic sauce pizza with bacon, feta, and spinach - it was delicious! Rich without being heavy, and so fresh! The bacon isn't your typical bacon bits - it's thick cut bacon! My partner ordered the carnivore - your typical meat and cheese pizza. You can tell the meat is fresh and high quality - and it's not too overly cheesy! The highlight was the garlic cheese bread - the marinara dipping sauce is DELIGHTFUL. Overall - fresh ingredients, creative pizzas, and again: local! Try it out, treat yourself to this pizza!

Yelp

Yelp
Mavericks Pizza is an excellent pizza place. When I first moved to the area I tried a couple different places to eat pizza. After I trade Mavericks I only order from this restaurant. The service is excellent and they have good prices and good menu. I suggest you try Mavericks.

Yelp
4.499 Best Za in St. Paul for me No flop, not soggy Mavericks is a must whenever I housesit in St. Paul. Not quite sure what their delivery radius is, but I would think if you are south of Grand, west of downtown, north of West Seventh and east of the River you are probably in the zone or close. I mention this because I have been in there once, and from what I recall, dining in is not an option. One bite, everybody knows the rules. 8.9. The crust is crisp throughout and not a soggy mess like some other places that are popular in town. The amount of cheese I am torn on. Some places in St. Paul are like all cheese on paper thin crust. The ratio at Mavericks is closer to right for my tastes, but could maybe use just a bit more cheese. The super cheesy pizzas are always super greasy, anyways. Minimal grease on Mavericks pie.

Yelp
I picked up an Ultimate deep dish pizza last night along with a pint of Sebastian Joe's Raspberry Chocolate Chip ice cream. The pizza was excellent - a perfect blend of sauce, cheese, fresh veggies, Italian sausage and pepperoni. Very good as received but perfect after I baked it a little longer in the oven. Next time I'll order it well done. The SJ I've cream was no surprise - loved it as usual. Yes..."I'll be back!"

Yelp
Fantastic pizza through and through. The crust always has a crispy base and edge. It is flexible enough to fold, New York style, allowing one to bind the sauce, cheese and delicious toppings. They have put in the work day after day to perfect their craft in the art of za'dom. By far my favorite pizza in town.

Yelp
So I ordered my standard sausage onion pizza when I'm trying a place and have to say I really enjoyed it. I'm a cut in squares kinda guy and they accommodated which sounded by their reply is not their norm. The crust? Light yet firm with a nice taste. The sauce had hints of garlic and basil and overall, it was a great pizza. I had it delivered so they threw on a $2.00 delivery charge. Not sure if that goes to the driver or not but with a $3 tip, I ended up getting a 12" pizza for nearly $17.00. Kind of expensive going that route. If I would've waited 20 minutes, it would've only been around $11 after tax. In addition, the place really is set up for delivery/pick-up only as the place is small. So because of that $2 charge , 1 loss of a star. I'll be back but instead of delivery, I'll just pick-up.

Yelp
Tried Maverick's Pizza takeout for the first time. It was fantastic. Pizza featured thin, tasty crust that was crunchy and just a little blackened at the edges, savory, obviously-homemade sauce and the perfect blend and quantity of cheese - pleasingly chewy but not overpowering. Garden salad had strikingly fresh greens and homemade, herb-seasoned croutons. Caesar salad was likewise excellent. Even the pickup experience was positive - a friendly conversation through masks, with owners who obviously take pride in their business and their food. We live outside of their delivery area - but I am already planning my return for more.

Yelp
If you want something better than the average pizza delivery places, get Mavericks! The pizza is original, they have so many different toppings to choose from and it's greatly made! We also ordered cheese bread too but that didn't last long enough for a picture. The taco pizza is unique in a good way. The best part, they deliver!!!

Yelp
1st time was great, 2nd and 3rd time it has been garbage! Tonight was my final straw, deep dish pizza not cooked in middle (considering the guy working told me he shut the oven off before cooking my pizza that should've been a red flag to begin with), didn't cut my pizza, said he doesn't have time to make the anti-pasta salad even though they didn't close for another hour. As soon as i left which was 8:36pm on a Thursday night he slammed door behind new and locked it. Guy working told me he shut phones off at 8 because he wanted to be done (My suggestion is update your hours to 8 PM not 9). I had $10 cash tip in my hand i planned to put in tip jar, however i decided to keep it once i watched the pizza get thrown in box without cutting it.

Yelp
Loved the pizza! Fresh sausage, delicious sauce, thin crust (but not too thin, just right!) cheesy, hot and ready fast service!
google avatar

Molly C.

Yelp
I really like this place. Their menu is varied, everything I have tried is delicious, and they deliver. There aren't many options in St. Paul that deliver to the Cathedral Hill area and they do! I like their pizza, but I LOVE their hoagies. My only issue is that they seem to frequently run out of some of their menu items a lot (like icecream or hoagie buns). Otherwise, I love this place!
google avatar

Sara B.

Yelp
My husband is a self proclaimed pizza expert and he loves Mavericks, the staff is friendly, the toppings are quality and fresh, he loves the thin crust (I prefer a little thicker, but it's still great). Can't say enough good things about this local business. Lovely people!

Yelp
We ordered from here once before, it took about 50 mins for us to get our order. My boyfriend really enjoyed it but I didn't like how long it took. He wanted to order it tonight so we did. We ordered at 7:19pm. They said it would take 45 mins to an hour. At 8:19 I called again asking where our food was. They said it would be out of the oven shortly. I was confused how it was just coming out of the oven now. The guy told me that they got busy. And I said I understand that but that shouldn't delay my food by that long. I was put on hold WHILE I was talking. Another man answered, and said he was the manager, even though he also said he was delivering our pizza (I didn't know managers were also delivery boys) I explained to him what happened and he said it was coming out of the oven and would be there shortly (I live one mile away) I asked if I would be compensated with a discount or a free item. He responded with no. I will be there in 10-15 mins. Then when he arrived he refused to bring my pizza to my apt and asked me to meet him in the parking lot. The first time we ordered they brought our pizza to our apt. Terrible customer service and rude employees.

Yelp
I've ordered Maverick's pizza before, both times it was a good experience - but probably two or three years ago. I called last night and had a really nice experience with gentleman who took my order. A one item pie, and a two item pie. The bill was $48. The flavor was good but my single item pizza had minimal pepperoni - like there were a couple of pieces of pizza where I had 1.5 pieces of meat. Not much cheese either. The second pizza had minimal sausage, but the vegetable addition was pretty plentiful. Meat toppings are $5 a piece, which would get me 3/4 of a pound of quality meat in the grocery store. Super bummed. Also - it was billed as a 16-inch pizza, and it was smaller, for sure. Again, the flavor was there, and crust was good, but the size and toppings were a real disappointment. Happy to pay a good price for quality pizza - but this time, it wasn't worth it.

Yelp
I ordered three Mavericks pizzas for a recent gathering: cheese, margarita and sausage/pepperoni pies. The 16" large pies are well priced and have good flavor. They are too soggy in the middle of each pie to be 'New York style' pizza, but they're a hit aside from that. Next time, I'll order my pies 'we'll done' or ask them to cook the crust for a while before topping them. Having the center of pies fully cooked would take things up a notch.
google avatar

Jim B.

Yelp
Been looking for a good white pizza near me with very little luck. Well Mavericks seems to do it best. I do sausage and mushrooms and theirs was very good. The sausage appears to be homemade and delicious. The crust is thin and a bit chewy which is fine with me. The delivery is fairly fast and friendly. I've ordered 3 times now and all 3 were delicious.
google avatar

Shelby D.

Yelp
Good pizza! Close to St Kate's where I go to school. Only wish is that there was more sauce, but I can order it that way next time. Owner actually works here alongside other employees which I appreciate, and he's really friendly. Will order out from here again!

Yelp
THE WORST EXPERIENCE. First off on the website they Claim to be open on Sundays. They were not on 3/8. Waited until Tuesday. Called around 1pm and spoke with Esther....she was so rude! This was my first experience calling here (have never ate here). She told me they wouldn't start delivering until 4.....maybe 4:30ish? I decided to wait until dinner....called at 7pm, just to find out they don't deliver downtown. Esther, or whomever was working the day shift on 3/10 is a terrible representation to your company and left such a terrible first impression. I don't even know if the food is good ‍

Yelp
Literally the best pizza in St. Paul. Great crispy crust, delicious sauce, and perfect Italian sausage. A small pizza shop, putting out amazing pizzas, salads, and wings. Support this place, it's a gem.

Heather J.

Yelp
Such a friendly neighborhood spot, I really appreciate Mitch for taking the time to let my speech challenged son make the order. The pizza is amazing, and so is the individualized service. Buy local and enjoy this great pizza!
google avatar

Tim G.

Yelp
Pizza had nice flavors, though it was delivered late and cold! Saturday night delivery needs to be between 30-45 minutes, not waiting over an hour fifteen.

Jai E.

Yelp
We had Mavs pizza last weekend and loved it. Great crust, perfect cook. I wish I would have written a review then, but didn't. Anywho, we ordered again tonight (one Mediterranean and one basic cheese) and it was an unfortunate disappointment. The spinach on the Med tasted terrible (old) and ruined the pizza. The cheese pizza was burnt and dry--the crust incredibly hard and tough to eat. The red sauce on their pizzas is fantastic, and when the crust isn't overdone it's crisp and tasty. A near five for our first time last week, a one for tonight. Cumulative 3 star. I'll give them another go soon, but if it's like tonight, I'd move on
google avatar

Katherine S.

Yelp
surprised by any reviews that are under 4. We have had no service issues with the pizza and quality is always great. The crust is great and use quality ingredients. Really love this pizza.
google avatar

Yelp
Our first time ordering from here. We had a hankering for cheese fries so got the garlic cheese bread. It was more done than I expected but I am not afraid of some char. It was dang tasty and we would totally order again. Looking forward to trying more from this place! And they delivered to us near Snelling and Marshall, which is awesome!

Yelp
Got a taco pizza. Bruschetta, and I was told I could not get a Philly sandwich because "it was Friday night and they are too busy for sandwiches." I got a small personal Philly pizza instead. The bruschetta was dry and all of the tomatoes had fallen to one side. Fine. Can deal. Not great bruschetta, moving on. The Taco pizza I was expecting was to be taco sauce, taco meat, cheesy and with some lettuce and salsa. Asked for the salsa on the side. I got the most sad, don't think it had cheese at all drier than the desert pizza with lettuce and chips to hide this fact. It was cardboard. The salsa on the side included 6 tiny pieces of tomatoes and two tiny onions. The saving grace was this personal Philly pizza. Delicious actually! Called about the taco pizza. It was inedible. Told it was the owner who dropped it off to me and was still out for deliveries. Was told the owner cared and would call me within a half hour. An hour later, no call. I called back. Went to voicemail on. Friday night at 8:30. Call d back again at 9:00. Went to voicemail. This was a treat for us tonight and cost over $40 with tip. So ready to give the benefit of the doubt and have a replacement. The owner seemed really nice and sincere at the door... nope, he never called, the store didn't answer 2x after an hour and a half of the first call to say it wasn't right. Bummer. The Philly pizza was great. They don't have great customer service. Would never recommend.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite neighborhood gems. I first started going here because I get my hair done at the Soapbox Salon next door. Their cranberry chicken salad is amazing!! Recently, I had their pizza and it also was very good. They have numerous specialty pizzas with unique flavors and diverse toppings. I'm excited for the summer when I can have a good excuse to get Sebastian Joe's ice cream w/ my order!
google avatar

Richard C A.

Yelp
Got 2 pizza's and some pizza fries, they upgraded 1 pizza for free, and they were great!!, pizza fries were awesome, red sauce was yummy, only thing is bottoms of each pizza and fries, were kinda gritty, ovens may need cleaning more often, other than that, great food! Thanks!!

Katie S.

Yelp
So good we had it two nights in a row, a first for this family! Fantastic! The ingredients were fresh, the crust was crispy, and the overall flavor was excellent! Last Night...We had the taco pizza. This was not your typical taco pizza with iceberg lettuce and Doritos crumbled on top, it had culinary finesse and exquisite flavor. Tonight... BBQ chicken pizza, the combination of fresh ingredients was to die for. The REAL unprocessed chicken breast, blend of chesses, homemade BBQ sauce, and thinly sliced red onion was perfection on a pizza! Pizza Luce has been downright disappointing and overpriced. They better watch out for the new kid in town! Finally, after many different pizzerias and many disappointing dinners we have found a pizzeria that is consistently amazing!

Yelp
Why did it take me so long to discover this place? I am a recent transplant to MN and an even more recent one to St. Paul. I moved here after living in NYC and jersey, so I know good pizza. For the past couple years, I thought the high-end pizza game was in Minneapolis. Pizzeria Lola, black sheep in the north loop, and hello pizza go-to spots for me. Only Lola is pricey and has a line every time you go there, hello pizza is hello expensive, and black sheep has really gone downhill. Plus, as a new St. Paulista, they're all pretty far from where I live and not practical for an impromptu pizza run. On a lark, I stopped in to Mavericks tonight to get two pizzas for dinner, and they were made expertly. The ingredients were fresh and they don't skimp with their toppings. One pie with mushrooms, Kalamata olives and fresh garlic, which was amazing. The other was pepperoni and mushrooms, and the pepperoni was perfectly charred. The best part? This place is really affordable. And they deliver. The same order at hello pizza would've set me back over $50, and I paid $35 for two large pizzas here. I'm going to need to see how consistent this place is, but if it is, looks like Maverick's is the new pizza boss in town.

Karla K.

Yelp
So good. Always hot. Always delicious. Always friendly. And reasonably priced to boot!! We love you, Mavericks!!!! Yelp is requiring that I write more......I guess short and sweet isn't allowed ;)

Paula K.

Yelp
First time trying last minute. The pizza was good but there is room for improvement. The crust was ok, but a little over cooked and cardboardish. The sauce was a bit too spicey and salty. More cheese please. The price was a little high but average based on other pizza joints. I will try again.
google avatar

Linda H.

Yelp
Thanks to the West seventh Facebook group, I was turned onto this place. I am now addicted to their chicken cranberry walnut salad. No more culvers or Wendy's for me. This salad is amazing and the dressing is like no other I've had. It's a raspberry vinaigrette but it's a little thicker than your normal vinaigrette. They are generous with the toppings and it's an amazing deal at six dollars! Other items I have tried are the chicken wings which were excellent as well and the pizza. I had my typical sausage, pineapple, and banana pepper pizza and it was delicious. I still have my number 1 Pizza Place which I will not mention here because I do not want to take anything away from Mavericks. The ingredients on the pizza were super fresh, the sauce was a nice spicy, and the crust was more of a cornmeal base I would say. I would definitely order another pizza here with my salad. Oink Oink! The first time I went to Mavericks I believe the owner may have been working and he and the other worker were super friendly. I always feel a little uncomfortable going into these take out only pizza places but they make you feel right at home the minute you walk in the door. They also deliver but I'm not sure they delivered to me downtown and Lowertown but if they did I would definitely be delivering quite often! Check this place out and I guarantee you, you definitely will not be ordering salads from any other place and will enjoy a fresh tasty pizza.

Yelp
2.5 It was okay. Flavor was lacking in the crust, cheese, and sauce. We got sausage on ours and the sausage was pretty tasty. We also tried the buffalo wings which weren't anything special, but at least they weren't soggy or cold. We got the fries too, which I didn't try, but apparently they were not good and did not get finished. Unfortunately for Maverick's, there is just too much competition in this neighborhood, an all of it is better than what we got here.
google avatar

Ryan R.

Yelp
I'm originally from New Jersey where great pizza is easy to find. I wouldn't call mavericks great pizza, but it's the second best I've had in the twin cities area and I get it frequently as it's very close to my abode. They have the best antipasto salad I've had in Minnesota and their wings are also very good.
google avatar

Patrick F.

Yelp
Eh... Pizza was ok. Trying to be Pizza Luce and not making it. Pizza was over-spiced and just didn't impress. And a delivery charge? I thought those were a thing of the past. I live 6 blocks away and spent more than $20, delivery charge should be waived. It comes down to this, if you want Pizza Luce style pizza, go there. Heck, they even deliver for free! It's too bad, because I like to support the neighborhood places. But if I can get a better product for less money just outside of the hood, well...
google avatar

Olivier D.

Yelp
Great service, great pizzas, good price! Our favorite is the Canadian bacon-pineapple: not too salty. The margarita is unique too.
google avatar

Kevin Y.

Yelp
We ordered the Sydney, add chicken, and it was delicious! I love their crust and the Italian salad was above average. I ordered delivery and it was very fast service! I also thought it was cool that they had a very unique selection of drinks. Check this place out!

Yelp
Mavericks is not New York pizza, let me just state that right up front. "New York style" is not the same thing. I'm touchy when it comes to Midwestern claims of new york pizza bc every single time I've been disappointed, with the exception of one place, and that was in central Iowa twenty-ish years ago. So Mavericks has a crust vaguely *similar* to NY pizza and that's where the comparison ends. However, Mavericks doesn't really need to set up this comparison bc it stands on its own just fine. The crust is chewy rather than Carbone's cracker crisp, the cheese, sauce, etc. are perfectly good. I wouldn't bother with any of the add ons. The garlic bread is just pizza dough with some garlic butter brushed on. The antipasto is just pizza toppings in oil & vinegar. The pizza is solid, but the rest just seems like menu fillers.
google avatar

Yosh S.

Yelp
I tried my first Maverick's pizza based on their excellent reviews. The Mediterranean was full of fresh vegetables, feta, olives, and very good. However, I prefer a crunchy crust and mine certainly was not. It was so soft that it wasn't possible to pick up a piece without it falling apart. I had to roll it up to get something off the plate. If I could get a more crunchy crust, I'd go back, but otherwise, not.
google avatar

Ryan K.

Yelp
I decided to check this place out tonight, and am glad I did. I stopped in and chose the Sydney with added chicken. I expected nothing outside of a typical chicken and white sauce pizza, but I must say, this guy can put together a pie. Very fresh toppings with a delightful crust. Firm and light, but not overly crispy or brittle. Their specialty menu is refreshing and gourmet. Pizza isn't typically my first choice for dinner, but this isn't typical pizza. I will definitely be back for more. After over a year of regular visits to Mavericks, I've decided to update to five stars. The Sydney is still my favorite, but their sausage is also some of the best I've ever had. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience with Mitch, his staff, or his pizzas. Definitely check them out if you're in the area!
google avatar

Catherine P.

Yelp
Twin Cities best crust, best sauce, and best toppings. I'm so glad Mavericks is in my neighborhood! The Art Attack pizza is so awesome - onions, artichokes, and oil-based garlicky sauce on their awesome thin crust. It's my go-to! Great salads too.

Yelp
We tried this place about a month ago, on a day decent enough to allow us to sit outside (which was unexpectedly needed, since it really seems to be carryout only, which we didn't realize). We ordered basically their 'supreme', and while it was good, it just wasn't great. I think the problem for me was the sauce. It just wasn't tasty enough. Or maybe spicy enough. I don't know...it was just too tomato-y without much other flavor. The service was friendly, the ingredients were fresh, and they did offer free ice cream to us (although when we used our Groupon, the offer mysteriously 'disappeared'...hmmmm.... :) ). Anyways...I think it's an OK place, but don't live close, so probably won't try it again, since it's pretty much carryout and delivery only. Also, they need to add some spice to the sauce! :)
