Maxanab Hotel Tulum

Me and my girlfriend had the best experience here. The rooms are super beautiful and cozy. You can't ask for much more in terms of location, you're only a few steps from the beach. Shoutout to Paulina and Armando at reception. They were extremely helpful in helping set up activities and excursions for us and making sure we had everything we needed. Also a big thanks to Luis, Leo and Milo at the beach club who treated us like royalty and made sure our experience was unforgettable. We would absolutely recommend this place and will definitely be returning.

In Tulum, this beachfront hotel stands out for its beauty. While there are many impressive hotels along this beach, the exceptional staff at this particular hotel have made our stay the best we've had in a long time, outshining our experiences at numerous hotels globally. Special recognition is due to Jose, Milo, Leonardo, and Mario, whose dedication and kindness have elevated this hotel to a luxurious oasis, with their warm hearts being the ultimate luxury. The genuine connections they fostered with us, sharing laughter and stories, as well as discussing our families, have made this vacation truly special. The exemplary service provided by these staff members has earned this hotel a reputation as a true gem in Tulum; accolades are well-deserved. These guys deserve a big bonus or at the very least a giant thank you for their services.

We had an absolutely amazing time and content have asked for a more gorgeous view and better location. Mario, Oliver, and Milo made the beach cabana and dining experience the highlight of our 12-day trip. We were sad to say goodbye but look forward to returning again.

What an amazing hotel! The rooms were spacious and lots of storage space for your belongings. White sand beach and clear waters, no rocks! Just amazing. But what makes this resort amazing, is the staff! They go above and beyond for you. Any issues, they respond within minutes and provide solutions right away. They were so helpful and caring. Paulina, you are a gem! Thank you! I will definitely be coming back to this hotel if I’m in Tulum again.

Absolutely perfect in every way. The rooms, the service, the atmosphere, the restaurant. It was peaceful and relaxing every minute we were on property. The staff is incredible. The food is great. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

My husband and I enjoyed a room with a private pool in May 2024. During our stay we also booked a full body massage. The food was good not great, the massage was fantastic and the room was nice & big. We booked a private luxury car service through the hotel to come & go directly to the Tulum airport and were told we’d have courtesy stops on our way to the hotel but that didn’t happen. We were also told the car would have snacks, drinks and WiFi and it did not for either trip from or to the airport. I am leaving 4 stars because I don’t feel as though the car service they booked for us was a good value and the food was overpriced.

Actually nice hotel, really clean and also well furnished. The rooms are more than spacious. Both breakfast and dinner were very very good. Unfortunately, it was very noisy in our room because the power generator was too close. When asked by the hotel staff how the night was, we had also expressed this. We were then offered that we could move to another larger room for 1000 MXN more per night. Is of course a special offer of the hotel to us. Normally it would cost 2000 MXN. Since we only had 1-2 other couples in the hotel, this has a bland aftertaste. In any other hotel you would get a better located room as goody if there is not complete occupancy. Fair enough we survived despite the noise. Otherwise, as already described in other reviews, this is about generating unpleasantly penetrating sales and tips. Too bad actually, would be a nice hotel.

12/10 stars! Literally the best hotel in Tulum. Right on the strip walking distance to all the hottest spots. Staff is amazing, food is even better! No lie my wife and I talked about how this hotel food is probably the best and Tulum, and much cheaper than everywhere else. We come yearly! Can't thank this place enough for the great hospitality
