Maxanab Hotel Tulum

We recently stayed here as a couple and had an absolutely wonderful time! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. A big shoutout to Jose, who took such great care of us at the hotel pool each day — friendly, attentive, and always made sure we had everything we needed. Paulina and Fabiolo were also amazing, going out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.||Our room was spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable — the perfect place to unwind after a day out. We stayed for 3 nights and honestly, we didn’t want to leave. The location is ideal: close enough to walk to great restaurants and shops, but just far enough from the noise so we could fully relax and enjoy some quiet time.||This place was everything we were hoping for — peaceful, clean, and so welcoming. We’ll definitely be back for another stay!

12/10 stars! Literally the best hotel in Tulum. Right on the strip walking distance to all the hottest spots. Staff is amazing, food is even better! No lie my wife and I talked about how this hotel food is probably the best and Tulum, and much cheaper than everywhere else. We come yearly! Can't thank this place enough for the great hospitality

Beautiful hotel and great staff who were all friendly and helpful! We visited during the wet season which resulted a lot of seaweed at the beach yet the pool and bar/ food service is great. Mario from the pool bar recommended we visit Palma Central in Tulum on Tuesday night which was one of our highlights of the trip so far with great live salsa music, dancing for everyone and great food!

The hotel has excellent accommodations, friendly staff, quality food, and delicious drinks. Our food and beverage staff(Jose, Walter, Luis) were attentive and helpful during our whole stay. We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast brought to our room each morning. Our jungle view suite was clean, spacious, and quite comfortable. The area the hotel was located was quiet without the noise of the surrounding clubs. The only downside of the property were the salt water showers in the room. Without fresh water to clean up it was hard to feel completely refreshed after a day at the beach or a night out. Other than that our stay was incredibly relaxing.

We stumbled access this beautiful beach club whilst exploring Tulum beach area. If you’re looking for a chilled day at a beach club- this is your place! It had wonderful ambience, food was delicious and the staff were very attentive & looked after our stuff and us very well for the day! :) They have a minimum spend 1000 pesos per person (equivalent to £40 PP) which is fair if you consider the beautiful setting and service! :) would definitely return!

My wife and I loved our time at Ma'xanab. It is a great, small boutique hotel on the quiter end of Tulum Beach hotel zone. ||The staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. They really exude hospitality and warmth. I'd like to give special mention to Paulina, the concierge, her communication and help were exceptional. Also, Walter and Jose, our waiters during the week were very warm and ensured we were well taken care of. ||The rooms were simple and comfortable, designed with classic Mexican architecture, utilizing natural elements in every detail. ||The food was delicious and fresh. Breakfast was included with our booking, which was a nice surprise. ||It was an exceptionally slow time in Mexico (low season), and it often felt like we had the entire hotel to ourselves. ||If you are looking for a romantic place for a quiet vacation, this is your spot.

Awesome relaxing atmosphere with extremely attentive and helpful staff! Restaurant items are delicious and presented very well (Shrimp Tacos & Micheladas were my favorite)! Shout out to Leo, Luis, Jose! Front desk staff super attentive and answer super quicky via WhatsApp helping with tours, transfers, restaurant reservations, spas & other recommendations! Shout out to Fabiola, Paulina, Valeria! For a kick back, relaxing stay this is it. Would definitely recommend!
