They’re happy our menu is awesome. The staff is knowledgeable, kind and ready to help. We enjoyed the salmon slider, the marinated beef, the spinach croquettes, and a wonderful Caesar salad. We complimented our meal with some nice wine and well crafted cocktail.

After a morning of protest in drizzle, we sought refuge (and a cold hoppy brew) in the Trumbull Kitchen. It was such a relief to sit at the bar and let Chris provide fabulous service; ice water without asking, requested brews, and a couple of delicious burgers which rarely tasted better. I had a lovely side salad and my co-protester had crispy fries. All around us, cardboard signs and flags showed we were not the only ones to seek refuge here. We were checked on several times and each was a double "thumbs up!" A lovely spot worth returning to!

Update 1 month later: I did not receive a response from Max’s Trumbull Kitchen on the review below: My spouse and I arrived the Saturday before last, in the afternoon at 3:15 p.m. There were 5 people total in the restaurant and we were asked if we had a reservation. We did not so we were told we could sit in the bar area. Apparently the restaurant was expecting to be full as they had “many reservations starting at 4p.m..” We sat in the bar in the corner (hidden away). Before our waiter arrived another (heterosexual) couple walked in. They were not asked if they had a reservation and were promptly seated in the regular dining area. We stayed (wish we hadn’t) and were served by a waiter that stopped at the host station to eat some french fries before greeting us. Both he and the hostess ate fries off and on over the next half hour (and didn’t wash their hands after). The food was OKAY and we made the best of it. We left at 4:45p.m. and there were several empty tables in the restaurant. I took some pictures, attached to this post, of the empty tables as I was leaving the restroom on my way out to meet my spouse who was waiting outside. I thought how nice it would have been to sit at the empty window table instead of being hidden away. We most definitely will not return.

I got dinner here before going to see a show at the Bushnell. The staff was very courteous and made sure to check in frequently to get us out on time for the show. The food was amazing! I got the scallops, and they were all perfectly cooked and well-complimented by the sides. My friend got the steak, and it was so tasty I wanted to steal the whole thing off his plate. Next time I see a show around here I'll definitely be coming back!

The last time I came here the food/experience was outstanding so I decided to treat my dad to a Father’s Day lunch. The 4 people in our party ordered 2 halibuts, tar tar tuna, & marinated steak. One halibut was raw in the middle and the dish over all was bland and nothing special even though it was the most expensive dish on the menu, the tuna which we order regularly (from other restaurants) came out either over done, old, left overs from a refrigerator, or was sitting under a heat lamp, Tuna is supposed to come out bright pink and flavorful this was neither. Among other reasons not listed here we don’t plan on returning. This was a big disappointment after the wonderful visit I had last time. Unfortunately max restaurants are all slowly following this quality/experience which is again very disappointing.

First time here, had an appetizer the grilled filet. Awesome, come with a tater tot, so steak and potatoes. Was really, really good. Had main course the marinated hanger steak (yeah steak night) and it was cooked perfectly, fries were perfect too. With ordering an appetizer, main course and desert was for me the perfect amount of food. I'm full but not uncomfortably stuffed. Will definitely be back. Well done people!

Google
Great location and atmosphere. The team that supported me that evening was so kind and knowledgeable. The bartender made me a special drink due to my allergies and so did the chef. My dining experience was then topped off with a delicious carrot waffle with scrumptious toppings!!

Went there about a month and a half ago on a whim passing through. Our waiter was super charismatic and made sure we were well taken care of, even if we might not be their usual clientele. So much attention to detail in quality in the service he provided. (I’m sorry I can’t remember your name! 😬😬😬) You could tell there was so much attention to everything put into this space to provide an excellent experience. One of the best meals we’ve had this year. Still thinking about our meal there even now. If my partner and I are ever traveling through the area again we will be stopping by no doubt.

Yelp
Max Trumbull in Hartford is an excellent dining experience from start to finish. The Grilled Filet Mignon appetizer was absolutely delicious--perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The Crispy Pork Belly Tostada was another standout, offering a great balance of texture and taste. Service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who made the evening even more enjoyable. To top it all off, dessert was just as impressive--rich, flavorful, and the perfect ending to a great meal. Highly recommend Max Trumbull for a fantastic dining experience in Hartford!

Yelp
We arrived around 3:30pm on a Saturday afternoon looking to relax, eat, and enoy some drinks before heading over to the XL Center for a hockey game. The place was relatively empty and given the choice of sitting in the Happy Hour/bar area or the dining room area, we chose to sit in the dining room area. The place is gorgeous with a relaxed vibe. Nice bar area but we did not want to sit at high top tables. We ordered beers and the grilled filet mignon small plate, duck carnitas, the crisp pork belly tostada, and the French onion stone pie. The filet mignon small plate was outstanding! The duck carnitas were moist and flavorful. 2nd round of beer ordered while we finished off the tostada. Then came the French onion stone pie, which we loved! We took our time eating as we were stuffed, but it was so good! A last beer was ordered a bit before 5pm to make sure we left by 5:30pm. Moments later our waiter approached us and announced they had a large party arriving and if we agreed, we could move to the bar area to finish our drinks and we would be given desert on the house. While seemingly a nice gesture, we did not want dessert or to sit at the bar. It would have been most helpful to have been told this when ordering that last beer. We felt rushed and most unwelcomed. So we declined and left. I think it is in poor taste to scoot out paying and potential returning customers in this manner. We will not be recommending nor returning based on this experience.

Yelp
I was honestly very much looking forward to trying this place. The menu looked interesting and has a few things I was interested in, plus I had previously heard good recommendations about the "Max" restaurants which I believe this falls into. I previously looked at their menus online and saw "Happy Hour 3-6". We were going within that time but on the weekend so I was hoping to order from that but figured it might be weekdays only. As it turned out, it was weekends as well, but only in the bar area which we learned well after being seated-- not a huge ding, but would have been nice if this was made more clear prior to being seated or on their website. The interior of the restaurant is nice and the service was fine. The price was about what I was expecting in Hartford but the quality of the food did not meet expectations. I went with a group of 4 and we ordered an entree each and 3 appetizers. Turned out that nobody was particularly fond of what they got nor did they think it was a good value for what they got (I had no problem with the cost of the food, but I expect good food at that price lol). I ordered the gochujang chicken pasta and I literally had multiple bites with what I'm assuming was the very rubbery chicken cartilage (which most people do not eat)-- this led to me not touching the rest of my chicken and just finishing the noodles; have never had an experience like this anywhere else. I had a bite of the other entrees and it was all just meh. For apps we got a pork belly torta, chips and guac, and miso clams. The chips and guac were somehow almost twice as much as the torta despite having neglibly more guac than what was atop the torta (and a relatively small amount of chips)--- you'd have been much better off just getting a couple tortas. I also found it pretty bland-- the menu said jalapeno, and tomato, however it just seemed like pureed avocado. The clams were also nothing to write home about. Last slight minor gripe- don't like that the tip recommendations are on post-tax amount. If shown, I think it's more common/honest to show the amount on pre-tax total (why tip on government tax amount?). All in all the rubbery chicken is what is prompting my review.. apart from that the experience would have merely been forgettable and just made me think I didn't need to return.

Yelp
I was in town for a meeting and ended up staying up the street from this place. I asked around and lots of people mentioned this spot to grab a bite. Went inside and was immediately greeted by the server in the bar. Really nice guy that showed me around the menu and mentioned a few suggestions. I was really just there for a couple cocktails so I sat down. The place was packed! There were a lot of people there doing the same thing as I was, enjoying some time with others and having a drink. The drinks were good and the service was great! you will have a fun time here! Not to mention I think it's one of the only spots in the area unless you walk a half a mile the other direction.

Becky G.

Yelp
Food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the filet mignon small plate as an appetizer. Started with that, then Caesar salads, then entrees. Short ribs were perfectly tender with a magnificent combination of flavors. Ambiance had a soft glow but could see food and read menu still. Service was friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Best restaurant experience I've had in a long time.

Kerriann G.

Yelp
We came for a light bite and enjoyed. We had the grilled filet mignon small plate and split the salmon "large platter". The filet mignon was cooked to perfection--they should consider making this a large plate. The salmon skin was executed very well which is hard to do. I didn't love it because salmon and tomato sauce is a weird flex to me. Service is impeccable. I'll definitely be back next time in Hartford

Christine G.

Yelp
Service was amazing and food was delicious. It did take a while to be seated but understandable.

Michele R.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch after the UConn parade on Sunday. The guy who sat us was pretty rude. We watched them seat multiple tables without a reservation before us, and then tried to tuck us in the corner at the worst possible table when we had a reservation. We asked if we can be seated somewhere else and they didn't like that. He gave us a dirty look and redirected us to the front without saying much. He then seated us at another table (which was better), without saying anything. Quite rude if you ask me! Besides the guy that sat us, we loved our waiter! Super friendly and accommodating. If it weren't for our overly kind waiter, I would've had a very different opinion of the staff. For food we started with the chips and guacamole. The guacamole was great, but very small portion. Then we got the carne as asap and the fish tacos. Carne asada was very good. Fish tacos were a little underwhelming. Hard to pick up the tacos due to it being stuffed, and could've used some type of sauce on top. There was a whole lot of fish and not much else going on. However, I loved the rice!

Yelp
I planned a dinner for my friends and this place was an absolute hit. The food was amazing, arrived at a perfect temperature, and it tasted soooo good. I'm not sure where they get the potatoes from but they were cut perfectly and the taste was beyond amazing. Sarah assisted us and she was attentive, friendly, and basically read minds. I've been here before but tonight was exceptional!

Sheryl W.

Yelp
Was out for a short walk in downtown Hartford and stumbled upon Trumbull Kitchen! The vibe was lively with Hispanic flair and it was happy hour. Choices were good and change monthly. I opted for salmon over veg noodles. It was beyond excellent. Service at the bar was perfect. Highly recommend. Sorry my photo is after I dug in. So good!

Kristine L.

Yelp
This seems to be a popular spot in Hartford for my coworkers to choose whenever I'm in the area for work. The inside is pretty modern and trendy, spacious as well. We've always had reservations made ahead of time so can't speak to the wait when it's just walk in. My usual go to here is the hangar steak, I love the char they get on it and it's very flavorful. This last time I got the pan seared salmon per recommendation from the server and it did not disappoint. The salmon was perfectly seared and I loved the curried squash puree with the little nuggets of pomegranate. Very unique dish that I would def order again. Service can be a little slow and we had a large group so a few people unfortunately got the wrong dishes and we had to wait longer but nothing egregious. I would say food gets 5 stars and service is 3 stars which brings it to a 4.

Renee A.

Yelp
Nice place! Staff was very friendly. This was a first time visit for me and it didn't disappoint. We wanted to try all of the starters, but decided on two and we share two different types of tacos. We got the curry noodles and the shrimp fritters. Both were VERY good. Highly recommend both. Then the tacos... we got the duck carnitas and the al pastor. The duck one was not as good as o expected not a lot of flavor going on there. I also had some significant bone pieces that seemed dangerous to have in the taco. The al pastor was MUCH better. Nice smokey flavor with a kick from the jalapeños.

Makayla C.

Yelp
Very elevated ambiance and food was very good. I got the duck tacos while my friend ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and both were great quality. The server was relatively attentive.

Jonathan N.

Yelp
Excellent experience for a date night... Hanger steak was perfect, fries were great, a little too much ice in the old fashioned but such is life... Very friendly service, a great night out in Hartford.

Yelp
Trumbull Kitchen on a Sunday afternoon is a perfect place to enjoy a nice quiet meal. Having just come back from Goodspeed Opera House, TK was a welcome spot with easy on street parking. We began with the special of the day. -cauliflower soup that was chock full of florets, carrots, and topped with pesto and a small pile of spaghetti. We should have stopped there but couldn't resist the generous burger topped with cheese, bacon and LTON. Service was great from the host stand to the waitstaff and the cook. We were made to feel very welcome.

Ellen E.

Yelp
TK has been a dependable lunch and dinner spot for me for many years. Comfortable seating, great food selection, attentive service. I organized a retirement lunch for about 25 people there once (pre-pandemic)--we got to use the area upstairs in the back. It worked out great!

Ashwin S.

Yelp
It's always a great time experience at Trumbull. The food, the service, drinks and ambience. I enjoy dining here or even popping in for the happy hour. Always a no brainer when wanting to dine in the downtown area. Recommend TK.

John J.

Yelp
Highly recommend trying the al pastor tacos. Also, our server, Chris, was wonderful! He was incredibly attentive and was very funny.

Andrea B.

Yelp
I always find it interesting when a restaurant tells you only bar seating is available when half their tables are empty. In any case the barkeep was friendly and attentive. They have a decent size gluten free menu. I ordered the grilled sirloin, it was tendered and cooked perfectly, but there was a slight flavor I didn't care for. The restaurant had a moderate noise level, but I could still have a conversation. Parking is limited. Prices were moderate.

Mike M.

Yelp
Great spot for dinner or lunch. This was my second time to Trumbull Kitchen in as many trips into Hartford. I came for lunch last time, and this trip was for dinner with coworkers. The place has very tasteful decor and a nice atmosphere. The food was great and the service was very pleasant. I had the a Korean short ribs, which was amazing. Great flavors, generous portions, and perfectly prepared! They also had a nice beer list with local craft beers.

Peyton C.

Yelp
Love the look of the restaurant. Music was a little loud for my taste but overall clean and nice. The food was ok. Nothing too impressive all things considered. The za'atar crusted fish was a special and frankly I wonder if they put any za'atar on at all. Drinks were ok. The service was great, definitely made up for the lackluster food.

Catfish D.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants in the area. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The happy hour menu and dinner menu appears to rotate monthly. The dishes are always interesting and delicious. The bartenders are extremely talented and knowledgeable. TK is an easy go to spot for drinks and dinner when in the downtown Hartford area.

Sally F.

Yelp
We go to TK often, before shows at The Bushnell. Service is always terrific and very responsive to timing of shows. Great menu, to share or not. Everything here is good. Nice ambience. We go back again and again.

Darya S.

Yelp
Small portions, mediocre, and overpriced. I got a bunch of things and nothing impressed me. The lobster guacamole was so small. Oysters are medium in meatiness, but high in price. Watermelon and feta salad was tasteless and barely had any feta. Waffle carrot cake Is a good option to share among the table, but it didn't taste like carrot cake at all. The food is average at best. The interior design is modern and hip, but it was empty on a Friday night and it just felt awkward. I will say that the service was great. Our waitress was sharp and friendly enough.

alandra b.

Yelp
We went in on Saturday after walking around the Pratt st food festival and decided to actually sit and eat out of the wind and we were not disappointed. Our server was quick and conversational. We tried many appetizers and our favorites were the rock shrimp and curried noodles but there wasn't a bad bite on the table. Also the pickles on the sandwich were so good. Prices were very reasonable. Another max restaurant that exceeded our expectations.

Molly J.

Yelp
Delish! The chicken sandwich came with homemade pickles and the brick chicken had so much flavor! Made us feel very special on our anniversary!

Rick T.

Yelp
marvelous place with great food that is innovative and delicious. Ask for Chris, he's the best server, but he's just part of a fabulous team that is welcoming and sincere. can't say enough good things about this restaurant.

Casey H.

Yelp
Service was excellent. Apps, go with the steak... wings were good too but the spice they used wasn't for me. Steak hangover highly recommended. Side salad wasn't great and I'll pick something different time. Baha tacos... gonna skip those next time too. Jsu too much fried.

Erica T.

Yelp
We were immediately greeted by the cheerful hostess which immediately set this place apart. Place is rather small but they use the space well and have a nice outdoor seating area. I tried the chicken and vegetable soup which was both hearty and refreshing I really enjoyed the fresh chunks of chicken. Flavor was great and it wasn't salty. We split the empanadas. They tasted and textured like stuffed cornbread. The cornbread kinda took away from the filling. I wasn't expecting a grainy texture so I was kinda surprised. We then split the chicken entree. It came with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. We added mushrooms and squash to the vegetable mix by request which was delicious. Chicken was so tender and flavorful! Kinda wished I didn't split it so I could have leftovers. For desert we tried the carrot cake waffle. It was confusing to my taste buds. The waffle didn't taste like carrot cake or remind me of it besides the visible carrot trimmings. The caramel plus the buttercream plus ice cream plus coconut flakes plus whipped cream... overwhelmed my mouth. Overall, great place for dinner in Hartford. Prices were reasonable and the staff was professional.

Hannah B.

Yelp
First time here at Trumbull kitchen and I loved it!! Wings are SO delicious. Definitely something you should get if you come here. Their bbq sauce is definitely different but amazing. The server was very nice and attentive. My party of 3 had very different drinks and he still didn't get confused about it which I very appreciate. The restaurant itself has a cool chill vibe going on. It is very classy and respectable. 10/10 I'll be coming back!

Erin L.

Yelp
Iffy about this rating, more between a 3.5/4 on this one. Here's the breakdown: Pros: - highly accessible location, right downtown - great for groups; I found it quiet enough to hear everyone but also bustling. I was really comfortable - we ordered a Toscana salad with these polenta croutons that were great! - lots of options, especially great for vegetarian and other specific diets - a breaking bad fan here- I was curious about the dos hombres mezcal and I asked them to custom make a margarita with it for me, it was fantastic Cons: - the $$$. I was pretty shocked by our bill in the end. We didn't order anything glamorous like steaks but the price point for each dish is pretty high - kinda slow service, everyone was nice and maybe they were just hanging back to let us talk? But some things took more than half hour - great fries but my veggie burger taste was kinda flat. Large portion though! I'm wondering if I just need to try some other dishes; it is worth another visit!

Sawako Y.

Yelp
Trumbull Kitchen is a great place for a nice evening out in downtown Hartford. Over the weekend, I stopped by to order a sandwich for take-out. They have a chic, trendy vibe with a beautiful bar. And the staff at reception was great--very pleasant and helpful. I ordered the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich ($15.95+), which comes with a side of Sweet Potato Fries. The BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich had too much BBQ sauce on it, which I didn't love. The Sweet Potato Fries were amazing, though, and I would come back just for that.

Coretta C.

Yelp
I' live across the street from Trumbull kitchen for seven years. They change the menu every three months since covid not for the benefit I'm disgusted I'm exhausted and I'm never going back and spent $100 tonight and I literally want a big Mac. I'm hungry AF Starving $17 skirt steak advertising as small "management " calls appetizer... mind you I ordered about three appetizers and that was not one of them. It was supposed to be my entrée that came to me on a plate that was smaller than my multiple appetizers and I asked him to take it away from me, as my appetizer was bigger then whatever he sent to me for almost $20 dollars we are done with being taken advantage of FUCK the system the happy hour menu for three dollar is bigger are you fucking kidding me I am done with downtown then they wonder why the city is failing BYE!!!!!!!

Brian L.

Yelp
This was a really good stone pie! The char on the bottom was just right and the vegetables paired wonderfully with the pie. The texture of the pie, along with the ingredients made it a pleasant experience. A nice, lowkey classier place to go. Check it out!

Sandra F.

Yelp
A true gem! We were in Hartford for a convention but were on our own a couple of nights for dinner. Trumbull's was one of the restaurants listed as being within walking distance of our hotel and the menu looked great. After a half mile walk, we arrived early (6pm) on a Thursday with no reservations but were greeted warmly by the animated hostess and shown immediately to a table...requested a table in the corner instead and she had no problem reseating us. We were fortunate enough to get Christopher as our waiter...an amazing person who was once even an actor in major productions. He was happy to help us choose which of the amazing dishes to have, after he had quickly returned with our drink orders. The shrimp fritters are wonderful...even better than one of the specials...lobster fritters. I could go on about the other wonderful dishes, but suggest you just take a look at their online menu yourselves.... yum! There was a steel band outside on either end of the restaurant, and their music was playing, but it didn't put a damper on a wonderful experience.

Sajeel A.

Yelp
As always they serve to please! This time it was the grilled hangar steak and the short rib flautas....very nice! Great service and courteous staff...go to for lunch/dinner meetings

Shanan P.

Yelp
We are here for a family wedding from out of state. Convenient walking location from the Hilton. Food was outstanding. For an app we shared the grilled filet mignon with tater tots and Stilton fondue. These are served on small skewers and so delicious. For lunch entrees we had the Italian Stone Pie with mushrooms instead of kale. Also very delicious. The fennel sausage and the ricotta were the stars on this. Bacon and blue burger special was enjoyed by my husband and my brother in law had nothing left of his fried chicken sandwich. Both came with fries and they loved them. Carrie was our bartender and she was fantastic. While the food was excellent, she made our spur of the moment lunch location choice that much more enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Sam B.

Yelp
Only ended up here after Max's happy hour had no space, but I was very glad we did! I had been to Trumbull kitchen once before, for a restaurant week special. Everything was delicious; but I was under the impression Trumbull kitchen was pretty pricey - well not during happy hour!! I love the way they do the happy hour menu, it is tapas style so you can try one of everything! We tried the French dip, salmon slider, pork belly bun, and curry dumplings. They were all super delicious and $3 or less. It looks like they change their happy hour menu often, I'd love to go back and try more options. For drinks, we got the blood orange margarita, on the happy hour menu for $5.50 and super tasty! The service was super great as well. The bartender was very nice and attentive, and the food came out pretty quickly. Cant wait to come back!

Kathy W.

Yelp
Been wanting to go here, and my daughter's 21st birthday served as a great excuse. It was pricey, but there were five of us and we got an appetizer and a bottle of moscato for the table. My hanger steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare and included shiitake mushrooms and very tasty broccolini. Inexplicably, the meal was served with french fries, when a mashed potato side seems to have been the better choice to soak up the delicious sauce. Overall, we had a good time with very attentive service, and will be back sometime in the future for another special event.

Edward M.

Yelp
With a lovely outside patio and the convenience of being right downtown this should be a regular stop for me. Unfortunately the food is only alright. The service is better but not enough to make me choose Trumbull regularly. If you do go here the Chiang Mai Curry Noodles are good. Don't let the small portion size fool you, everything else is large. The hanger steak is good but the mushrooms were over done. Overall not a bad place but not my favorite on the block. The price is equal to the quality so at least your bill will be reasonable. Cheers

Jon B.

Yelp
I will start by saying, I love this place and it has been my place to go for years. Food is good, nice bar section, tvs, its a great place. We recently went to the Sunday happy hour and the vibe was great, they had a dj, game was playing on the TV and it wasn't crowded. When we got there there was a waiter at the table where they accommodate people to the tables and she was just standing there without acknowledging us. She was looking something on the tablet but it would have taken a few seconds just to look at us and say "I'll be w you guys in a min". After about standing there for a min, we just walked to the tables at the front which are at a first come basis. After sitting down it took a good 10 min for someone to come to us. Fortunately our waiter John was great and it gave us suggestions on the menu. The happy hour menu has a mix of options for about $6 and the options are usually pretty good. We also added pizza l, which was great and empanadas (ok but not that great). Overall, food was good but perhaps they need to add some additional staff during certain times. As always for me, would I go back here again? Of course, TK food is delicious just need to work on having more staff.

Sol D.

Yelp
Food was fantastic ! The server ( Jaden ) Was the most elite service we had as a group. !!! Please ask for her when you get here she caters to your every need. Metro vein centers staff of CT appreciates the hospitality!

Michael M.

Yelp
So we're up in Hartford, Connecticut for the Garden show. Which was a huge hit! We start with an apple, kale and goat cheese salad. It's unfortunately just ok. Not especially memorable. We share the scallops but it really wasn't enough for two but we had had cheese platters at the show, so we're ok. No dessert during Lent So off we go back home.

Yara F.

Yelp
Came here on New Year's Eve with two friends without a reservation and got a seat in the bar area at the high top tables. There was a fixed price menu that was pretty reasonable for the price of $75. I think of all the entrees we got the coq au vin was the best. The different steaks we got we're fine, but slightly under seasoned, and nothing to write home about. It did take us almost 3 hours to finish our meal because the kitchen was so backed up. definitely not anyone's fault, and I was still very thankful for the staff working on New Year's Eve, but it did seem that there were some people who had reservations that weren't getting seated, which is unfortunate. Overall enjoyed the food enough that I would try it again when in the area.

Thomas F.

Yelp
We not only had a wonderful dinner but were able to watch first hand how a good restaurant works. The seeming chaos of a myriad of guests with tickets to a soon to be event blossomed into a choreography of quiet adjustment. Servers were reassigned, tables appeared quietly, no present diners were bothered and a quiet, well organized dining area emerged. It was super just to watch so many people working in unison to make dinner possible for a crowd. Kudos to those in charge and compliments to staff who performed in my eyes a 'miracle' of hospitality. We will come back for the food but never forget the service!

Chi A.

Yelp
I think this was my second time at TK and it was just an alright experience. We got here around 4pm on a Friday and grabbed a few items from happy hour. Then we moved over to a table for dinner. I got the salmon and instead of the sides it came with, I opted for asparagus and fingerling potatoes. The food took about 20 minutes and the presentation of the meal was so subpar. I mean, you can tell from the picture. There was 0 flavor and I had to keep adding salt and pepper. Even hot sauce couldn't save it.

Yelp
We had a delicious lunch before a gymnastics competition across the street. Our server was SO nice. He moved us away from an ac vent, without us even asking when we said we were cold. One of us had a tuna poke bowl and she LOVED IT! The other had the Tuscan chicken salad. The polenta croutons were delicious. The roasted garlic, a perfect touch. We tried to go back for dinner but we failed to make a reservation. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I had a great dinner and server. He was quick and efficient. But I couldn't help overhearing how the manager spoke to the server. I believe the manager's name was Steven. I felt terrible for our server getting spoken to very poorly. I made sure to tip well because I don't know how they can emotionally deal with that.

Yelp
Here we go again! Once again disappointed this place was hyped by many friends and it's own by Max's. I don't think I'll go back to this place .I ordered Duck breast it must of been illegal to kill this duck very small portion quite raw.I can expect this at a French cuisine .I don't know who decided mole sauce with duck is a fantastic idea they must be stripped of their profession. I did like my app . On the bright side quick efficient service a respectable guy with some oddly braids
