Lots of locals food is better on some days when the guy with the mustache works service is better on some days than others overall, it’s a great place. Highly recommend gets very busy quickly. Parking is challenging at times.

Solid experience. Came here after work for some Dinner. Ordered the jalapeño poppers pretty freakin good. And the chili cheese dog. Along with pepperoni and cheese pizza 12 inch. Food was amazing. Fresh hot out the oven. Establishment is real clean. Friendly environment they have all the basketball games going for March madness. Will be coming back. Highly recommended

The best pizza in Boulder City! We love Pizza Rock but you don’t always want to drive to green valley. Maxx’s fresh ample toppings, tasty crust and addicting ranch dressing to dip in are awesome. Will definitely come back!

I've driven by this place hundreds of times but finally decided to stop in and try the Food and OMG! the pizza is as good or better than the pizzeria down the street which is actually pretty good. The food is really good when you considering the tiny little kitchen it's coming out of. Service is top notch and it's a fun little atmosphere I can't recommend this place enough

We are local and love it. Here is why... The customer service has become excellent over the past few months. They have added some staff that has secured that for the owner and he himself is fantastic. We usually sit on the patio that is well lit with hanging lights and even Christmas lights this time of year. We would like to see those year around as it goes with the theme. Drinks are affordable and the food has become excellent. Add that to the late night hours they stay open makes it the best spot in Boulder City for evening drinks and food. The calzones, pizza and meatball subs are excellent. The large calzone is also huge. The dough, sauce and seasoning alone is very delicious. We also think the pizza rivals any other we have ever tasted which includes the famous Pizza Port in San Clemente, CA as well as Villa Pizza in Las Vegas. We found the best combo for their calzones is the meatball or pepperoni with artichoke. There is a large T.V. outside that will display any big game during certain evenings as well as a band or karaoke on specific nights. This is a great locals spot for sure but also a great place if wanting to enjoy the small town charm of Boulder City. The gentleman who runs/owns the place is a real patriot displaying our American Flag and also caters to veterans. The fire pit out front when burning is another wonderful, warm and romantic addition. Fun and cozy spot for a date night, give them a try! We love it!

Wow. This place was bad when I went. It to 20 mins for someone to even ask if we want a drink then it was 45-50 min for us to get food. Best part as we are watching them make them make drink this girls did not even wash her hands

We stopped at Maxx's last weekend for a quick drink and a snack, the stuffed mushrooms were amazing. The bartender was also serving the patio and had great customer service! Super chill place, will definitely be back!

Tens across the board! I'm just gonna say it, best pizza place in Boulder City. Others are close, but this is my go to. Their BBQ Chicken I hear is amazing. My choice is their vegetarian. Maxx's feels like a true local bar. There's even karaoke on occasion! The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. There are a few seats inside, around the bar and at tables. But cold or hot, sit outside. There's misters for the summer and heaters for the winter. I enjoy sitting outside under the patio watching the cars that pass by. Parking is limited but there is street parking along the side. So come on by for a drink, food, and entertainment. Then afterward, head across the street for pie.

My wife and I went yesterday, looking for something different to try. BIG mistake... First of all we waited almost an hour for The $15 dollar hamburger, that was frozen and the buns were burnt, the $4 french fries were also burnt, they looked disgusting. We told the waitress no cheese on the hamburgers and one of the hamburgers had cheese.... service was horrible! Never again.... THE COOK SUCKS!!!

What a great little place in Boulder City. Amazing pizza and great service. They have done a wonderful job of fixing up the motel and there is a great patio out front. BONUS: you can bring your well behaved dogs!

We always have a great time at Maxx's! Never felt unwelcome, always get friendly service from the bartenders and delicious food from the cooks. The Best Dam White Pizza is my go-to, but all the pizzas are very tasty and come with heaps of toppings. The crust is a thinner style, which we love (if you want pan-pizza this isn't the place), and there are many toppings to choose from. Sandwiches and salads are great too. They have live music and karaoke depending on the night, there's no smoking in the bar, decent selection and prices on drinks. What more do you want?

I heard they don't welcome gay people. Dear friends of mine went once and were ignored by all. They finally left. Any other gay people experience the same?

Food was awesome but the bartender Kristen was phenomenal. Amazing personality and great service. The locals here are also super nice and welcoming.

A complete compliment to Boulder City. Service and crowd made me feel like home. Drinks and service were impeccable.

Tried Maxxs in Bc today based on the reviews here and online menu. Things must have changed, the prices there were 40-50% more than online menu and some were not available. The pressed Cuban sandwich is not pressed, no ham and Mayo instead of mustard. Beer are $6.

The pepperoni pizza was amazing! Crust was a perfect proportion to the sauce, pepperonis were not over cooked, cheese was fresh, and it had the right amount of oil. Disclaimer: I had the worst heartburn the next day but I don't think it was caused from bad food or anything. I'm just a wuss. I'm coming back and will risk my life with the heart burn.

My husband and I are residents of Boulder City but we have never visited Maxx's until a few days ago. We both agreed afterward that we should have come much earlier. We had the best pizza ever! I am a very hard "grader" but I give Maxx's a solid A! I loved it because it had a lot of ingredients, very fresh ingredients, and everything tasted so good. Service was great and sitting in the patio watching antique cars go by was a bonus. We definitely will go back for more pizza!

I've been coming here for several years now. It's clean, the service is great. There is a outside patio. Live entertainment and karaoke. There is a joke box as well. They have a few big screen TVs and play NHL and NFL games. They have shake a shift. You can roll the dice for your chance at the jackpot. The food is really good, the pizza is especially good!

Best. Food I've had in Vegas. Granted I drank my weight in Rum all day.... but best. Food . Ever. I had a calzone. Not sure what all was in it cuz when I ordered, pretty sure I said something " cheese & some other stuff." Again, super helpful bartender ordered me something good. My better half had a French dip-ish and fires. I had some fries & dipped them in the French dip stuff and it was good. Sandwhich was so good he says. These people need a raise & a vacation. Small bar. Amazing. Amazing staff. Come & enjoy.

It was pub crawl night and we got there before the crowd and had a remarkable dinner and a couple of nice cold adult beverages. The Farm Salad was amazing and the pizza was great as usual. Friendly service from the bar staff too. Overall a great visit.

This is a little bar attached to a motel on the main drag. We stopped in for a cold drink after walking the downtown area. At first, some of the regulars seemed to be off-putting, but we came back a second time and the crowd was a younger group. They have a food menu but we had already eaten both times we came by. They have TV's with the weekend golf tournament playing. They also have touch tunes for music choices. The bartending staff was very friendly and helpful. They recommended a new beer that we tried and enjoyed. We did not come at night, but had a good time in the afternoon. It was close enough to where we were staying to walk home if we had to much fun also.

I had the white pizza, it was excellent! lots of TV's for football on a Sunday. The bartender, Misha, was very friendly and made sure my beer was full and cold. I would go back for sure!

Sent an order to a friend that lost his grandfather. Was assured contactless delivery. The delivery guy ended up knocking on the door and they denied the order. Surprise! (Not) Had a back and forth with the business and should've canceled. Maybe the food is good but they take directions like an 18 month old. I would dine in but not order delivery at all cost. The food looks good in pics but not worth the terrible delivery communication. Think twice before ordering.

We have been getting pizza to go from here for 4 years . Tonight when I got it home it looked like a flat cracker the dough was nothing like the normal pizza we ever got before . I called to ask and tell them about what was wrong with the 22$ pizza . The bartender said she would ask the cook . She came back and said " No it's the same" . I told her No it's not the same it's as if they put the toppings on a cracker . She said I'm sorry I just bartend here . I told her well let them know we won't be coming back since we got no resolve . She just said ok !!!! I'm more than shocked at this customer service in fact ! The manager should have immediately got on the phone to rectify the Customers issue . This is just another example of being treated like crap as a customer in most businesses as of lately . Max's will never see our business again and obviously they could care less ! If you want a cracker disguised as pizza go home and put sauce on a box of crackers and stay out of this careless business !

Never had a problem with the food , but I witnessed unsanitary behavior in the kitchen area.

I as a Boulder City resident will never go out to this bar again. After my friends were rudely served by the bartenders. I went to the bathroom luckily with a friend when we were stuck in the bathroom for over 10 minutes due to a bar fight. When we were able to leave, the female bar tenders were still mean and Uninviting. Very sad to experience, while I have lived here for 5 years.

The bar tenders are the rudest most unwelcoming people ever !!! Literally the bartender had maybe had 6 people and was yelling at everyone. The most awful shit hole. The bartenders mAde the place such a bad vide and made everyone want to leave with her screaming at everyone , never again

I love this place! The food there is delicious! Jennie is an awesome cook. Try the pizzas and the Cuban sandwich. They are yummy! Saturday night they have Karaoke. My friends and I go there and have a blast . The owner Marcus makes sure all of his customers are having a great time . The bartenders are also amazing serving the best drinks. Oh yes they also have Jell-O shots that won't disappoint. If you want good food and a good time go to Maxx's .

Food was good we can't complain. Hubby had the Italian beef sandwich, had the chicken wrap, mom had the hotdogs . We all have chips with it. And everything is good. We will come back if we're in the area.

Amazing Chicago Dog tonight with the most delicious pasta salad for the side but I must say the homemade chips are fabulous and the pizza too! I love that the owners allows dogs as well. Our favorite place in Boulder for a beer and food... very relaxing atmosphere.

HORRIBLE BAR SERVICE! All kinds of "SPECIAL" people around at all hours of the night, No parking & Better check your receipt before you leave the bar, the BARTENDER named Jen with the glasses will RIP you off & good luck trying to talk with anyone about a refund. Sad they treat customers this way

Went to Maxx's last weekend after a motorcycle ride, there was about 20 of us and Misha the bartender was great! The place was packed and she did a wonderful job serving everyone food and drinks. The patio outside is great, food was good. Very friendly place, will definitely be back.

During COVID is delivery only, but the food is excellent. They state their white pizza is best. Being from back east I was doubtful, but they were right. Very, very good. Highly recommend. Enjoy

It's a tiny place connected to a tiny motel, so parking and seating are very limited. (However you could go around the corner and park on a side street). That being said, we went because: 1-we always see plenty of people there. And they all appear to be having a great time. And 2-we heard their pizza is great and had to check it out. Not expecting much, we entered the tiny bar area which was crowded with what appeared to be all locals. (We are locals also). The bar seats were almost all full so we chose a table. The barkeep came right over with menus and asked about drinks. And what a menu!!! Salads, sandwiches (including a Cubano, Philly Cheesesteak and French Dip! In a tiny bar! Hamburgers, hotdogs (multiple choices for both) appetizers galore and PIZZA! Handmade pizza. With most any topping you like. Some are named. Hubby got one with all meats (grrrr) and I got my usual mushroom and black olive. It took about 20 minutes (which told us it wasn't frozen or pre-made) and sure enough, when it came out it was obviously hand made. Great crust, sauce and real mushrooms! (Hint to another pizza place here in town. Rubbery mushrooms suck.) We loved our pizza, not a great beer selection but full bar too and I ordered tonic and lime and they didn't charge me. Bonus! We now want to go back and try lots of other things on their menu. Very impressed for a tiny locals watering hole.

This is my 3ed time here and I'm in LOVE with this place. The food is phenomenal here and I'd recommend this place to anyone and everyone. The bartenders are sweet and so attentive. Shout out to bartenders Lo and Lou! We'll be back soon!

Been here 3 x in past few months, Pizza is on point, we tend to order their version of the "Meat Lovers". Perfect crust, large slices, the large easily feeds family of 4. Beer is cold, prices are right. The bartenders, servers, and patrons are friendly. Big thanks to the man who bought our table a round of beers this past Sunday(8/25/19). We owe you one or two :)

The rudest place i have ever been in. The bartender with the nerdy glasses is horrible. And her other freind in there that cant even figure out who came in before the last person. I would never ever ever recommend this place to any one. Get them out of boulder. Or fire the bartenders. I will never come back again.

Update to my last review.. I will move Max's up 1 star for taking care of the mistake. He also apologized for the inconvenience of what happened. Heads up the online menu to order from has not been changed to add horseradish to their OG French dip.

So haven't even been there but I drive by on my way home. Low and behold the front door is open and shoulder to shoulder people standing at the bar. What's up with that????????? Taverns can't be open but that one is.

This place was really fun. We came on a Saturday night. There was a birthday party and karaoke so the atmosphere was fun and lively. Everyone was very nice and made us feel at home. They have personal sized pizzas so 4 of us each got what we wanted and all 4 types of pizza were really good. Really great place in all respects.

Went there for the first time and had Taco Tuesday. Food was great and the prices were even better. The waitress was very nice and the locals sit at the bar and tell crazy stories. Small place but worth a visit. Great place for groups of 4 or less.

Absolutely amazing food! The Best Dam white pizza is delicious and the Italian Beef is even better than one we ate in Chicago! Hands down the best Italian beef ever !

The pizza is always good but the appetizers and service are hit and miss. The fire pit is a nice touch and is nice if you're looking for a drink on the porch.

The best bar in Boulder City! Great pours, awesome bartenders and the juke box is always at the right volume for a good party!

Food is awesome! Very welcoming atmosphere. Friendly, attractive staff as well. Will be back every week for sure!
