I got sent back the first time because I wasn’t in swimwear, so just a heads up if you’re planning to go during the day. When I came back, it was $40 to get in … but honestly, Maya is still a great spot to have fun and meet new people. The energy is always up, and I like that there are other bars and things to do around the area too

Absolutely out of this world! Great time! One of a kind. Art/Deco off the hook. Clean. Friendly staff. Fast and attentive service.

This place could be so much more if they actually put money into the place for what they charge. Stained worn out furniture for those who spend thousands and then those who dont have no lockers to put their stuff so you see nasty shoes, socks, and clothing sprawled out everywhere. I love the vibe, but with a few tweaks they could have this place could be fabulous

The music and the atmosphere was pretty good. It's the security guards that were the issue. I had got a little motion sickness and had a little too much water, so I had to go to the restroom and throw up. It was all water, all liquid and I hadn't touched any alcohol yet. They had a guy working the bathroom who went and told security, and they came and told me I had to leave. I tried to explain but they didn't care. When asked if I could go grab my stuff and grab my partner, they told me they do it, and I had to leave. They didn't know where any of my stuff was and didn't even know who I was talking about. When told that, they got upset and try to shuffle me off faster. I'm not upset about being forced to leave, i'm upset that you're forcing people to leave their stuff and not even taking the couple seconds to find out where it is. Ruined a perfectly good afternoon, and left a bad taste. Do better.

Maya was super fun and we got a table with Kelsey. She was super friendly and made sure our table had everything we needed. Great energy and fun the whole time—definitely elevated our experience. Highly recommend asking for her if you're getting bottle service

Inconsistent drink prices (I paid $15, $18, and $20 for the same exact drink). Security leaders, door security are always unnecessarily impatient and aggressive. Unclear dress code. Been going here for 5+ years and it's always been the same vibe, bartenders/bottle girls and non-management security just constantly switching out. I only go here if it's a concert from Relentless Beats. Never would voluntarily go here without a reputable DJ - even with these events, atmosphere is always off. Seen the same artists at different local venues and always a better crowd.

Maya Day + Night is always a good time, but Kelsey made our experience next level. From the moment we walked in, she was super welcoming, on top of everything, and kept the energy high all day. Whether it was drinks, service, or just good vibes--she crushed it. The place itself has an awesome atmosphere, great music, and the perfect setup for a fun day out. But seriously, Kelsey was the MVP. Can't wait to come back!

This past Sunday, I attended Maya Day Club for a pool party. My friend's husband bought a section for her birthday, and there were about six of us in total. First off, I highly do not recommend getting in the pool -- it's crowded with drunk people who aren't even buying drinks. It felt dirty and far from sanitary. As for our section, my friend's husband purchased three bottles: tequila, champagne, and then another bottle when we were getting ready to leave. When they brought out the third bottle, they didn't do any kind of celebration -- no sparkler, no sign, nothing. I politely asked the bottle girl if she could bring out the "Happy Birthday" sign so we could take a picture for my friend's birthday. She responded in a snarky tone, saying, "We only do that for premium bottles." Mind you, we had already purchased three bottles by then. I asked if she could at least check since it was a birthday, but she repeated herself, even more rude this time. Then, completely unnecessarily, she said, "Do you wanna get kicked out?" I was shocked. Moments later, five security guards came over, including one overly aggressive black security guard who literally screamed at me across the section telling me I needed to leave. Another security guard tried to get the story, so I explained what happened, but after I finished, he just said, "Well, I'm gonna side with my homegirl -- the bottle girl." So what was even the point of asking? In the end, even though we had already paid for another bottle that we didn't even drink, we all decided to just leave. Overall, this place is overpriced, pretentious, and offers zero customer service. They don't seem to treat minorities the same, and act like it's some exclusive Vegas or Chicago day club -- but without any of the professionalism or quality. I wouldn't even put my toes in that pool again. To top it off, people were literally walking around the bathroom barefoot. Absolutely one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Save your money and go somewhere else. This place is extremely racist and unsafe on how they treat their guest.

Went for a bachelorette pool party in the off season - August and had a blast. We didn't get a table but put all our stuff in a bag on the side of the pool. The music was good and there was shade available in the pool. Keep your card on your so you can get drinks at the bar.

Okay the chlorine water in the pool is questionable but the ambiance and vibes at Maya Dayclub are immaculate. We booked day party tickets the morning of and check in was smooth. Lots of searching of bags at the door and metal detectors (no complaints). Once inside we found the place was crowded but were able to locate some seating near the pool. The music was good, and the crowd was fun. I didn't interact with staff very much but everyone seemed pleasant. Employees we're definitely busy, there was alot of running around on their part. We ordered a few drinks to cool off and the ice melted immediately. During our time there it was 108 degrees outside! I enjoyed the shade and big fans everywhere. Even with the extreme heat I wasn't uncomfortable. I felt really safe here despite the heavy amount of alcohol flowing all over. Security kept a good eye on the crowds, and no one seemed to get out of hand. The pool in my opinion was on the smaller side for the amount of people but still really fun. My only downside really was no lockers or safe place to store your belongings while you're in the pool. Luckily we met a group of girls there and we all took turns watching each others belongings while away. 10/10 - I plan on visiting again when I return to Scottsdale!

I believe I got robbed by the staff. Went to MAYA nightclub this past weekend and wasn't allowed to wear my hat (despite spending $1,500+ on a table). It's a nightclub so obviously had a few drinks and ended up forgetting my hat on the way out (kept in the front with who I've learned is a bouncer called Vegas). I came back the next day first thing in the morning and they said they didn't have it..... was a $500 which really sucks. It was Chrome Hearts so very easy to spot and steal. Pretty brutal, and this club will never get my business again.

Terrible, waited in line for 35 minutes and told I couldn't go in. DEF NOT LGBT+ friendly. DONT COME HERE.

Good music, good vibes, and excellent service. Nothing beats that on a hot summer's day. Our group was lucky enough to have Kelsey, who kept the drinks coming and us laughing nonstop! Will def be going back and hoping to get her again.

Security made me remove my tank top and bandana, put it on a table and told me to come retrieve it at the end of the night. Mind you I saw several people enter the club with tanks and hats, when I came back to retrieve them they were gone and security said they didn't know what to tell me. Change your dress code or don't lose our shit, thanks!

I had a bad experience with a Brunette bartender working the back bar the night of 06/26/25. It's 2025 and everybody in the service industry should be inclusive regardless of race. I've heard stories about minorities having issues in this establishment and I hope moving forward you all work towards fixing this internally if there is one. Would give it a 0 star if I could. Couldn't get in because of a security guards ego. Same security guard said they weren't letting people in, only to say yes and let a group of 10 people walk in, as he told me to step aside. Tried to go in with the group who was walking in he said "I told you we're not letting people in" what a joke. Get better security who are there to keep your place safe, not judgmental assholes who think they're doing something by not letting patrons in to spend money.

I had drinks here which were pretty expensive but that's expected in Old town. We also had to pay an entrance fee so that sucks but the atmosphere is cool. And it's a fun environment. If you like day clubs you'll like it.

As someone who is out in old town regularly, I can say with complete honesty that Kelsey is the best there is when it comes to making you laugh and hosting a great time at any venue. Her attentiveness and hospitality is unmatched and I will continue to request/visit her any time I'm at Maya! It's especially a good time when her and Adriana are there together. If you're going to go and get a table, the cabanas offer an amazing view of the crowd and great shade in the heat. Also do not miss the chicken tenders. They are an addiction worth having.

This place is beautiful and the music set up is awesome but honestly I don't love the vibe of the Scottsdale scene that is very palpable here. People watching was fun when they first opened and folks were just inching in but once alcohol got flowing, I couldn't stay much longer than an hour because people's bad behaviors were showing. Probably not a place I would go back to just because that's not my sort of vibe but if you're visiting from out of town and celebrating something wild I'm sure you'll be drawn here.

Let me start off by saying, this place is awesome!!! The music and the vibe just put you in the best mindset. And to top it off, my bottle server Kelsey is the sh*t. She was on her a game all night and never made our table feel like we weren't important. I vibed with her all night talking about sports and love island, she never made us feel pressured into getting more stuff and always made sure we were having a good time.

The day club scene usually is not my thing. But I came here to check it out with a relative and drink. It was good people watching. Surprisingly there was a wide range of ages here. Everyone from your typical college coeds, your desperate housewives of Scottsdale, to your middle agers all hanging out and getting buzzed. The dj was decent and played hip hop music (old school and current hits). There was no cover the day we came here. They have pool parties during the summer. Come fall there is no pool and it's covered by turf. If you want to sit in the patio seating you gotta pay for bottles. They had various games out here to play: trash can beer pong, a strength test punching machine, and arcade basketball. Obviously full bar.

Staff very unfriendly, vibe is off, foods bad too even though we didn't rly go there to eat, only half our group got in.

Came to Maya for my bday and Jessie is the goat. She made our trip perfect and was a great server. Maya deff worth checking out and Ask for Jessie she's the best of the best

I had my bank account data breached after using my card here. For the last year they have been able to see recent activity on my account and have been trying to scam me into giving them more information. The very first incident of this was immediately after using my card at Maya and the scammers knew the exact amount that I spent there. Be careful using your cards here. Maya, you need to figure out how to protect your customers better because that's unacceptable.

We reserved a table for 10 people. Half of the group was late, but they let us get settled at the table and the rest of the group joined us later without any issues. We ordered a few bottles, and the waitress poured us all drinks and shots as requested. She often came to check on us if we needed anything. I didn't like that you can't pour drinks yourself, they put locks on the bottles. Also, if you order food, it will not count towards the minimum spend requirement. It was my second time there getting bottle service, and overall the experience was very good.

Maya is the spot to go to if you want to dance. Sure you can dance at other places but those other places have an itty bitty crowded dance floor with ick all over the floors. Maya is also very spacious with that outdoorsy feel because .....there's no roof LOL. Maybe they have a retractable one but being out there in the open air looking up at the stars at night gave me that nostalgic music festival feels. Music was on point too.

Ya know... I had a blast. However, I DID AWANT TO GIVE A 2/5 stars. Until we were inside being served by the awesome and super cute/fabulous bartender Megan...- but then we were informed that all our stuff was thrown away. Now the club sign does say "Maya is not responsible for missing or stolen items"... however, if you guys are collecting items to throw away... why not have a counter for 24 hours each days for people to collect their stuff, make an announcement that the pool is closing, or leave the stuff their for atleast 15 minutes to be collected. I think this was not handled properly and I appreciate Reynaldo-Whatever for being of so much help - not. He seems like a great manager.. but I think the power of his position may have gotten to his head instead of having a bit of hospitality. No worries, thanks man.. now I know what to expect when I come to this club to spend over $40 on the ticket plus another $14-15 Per drinking including tip :) Honestly - I had a blast at this place . But a bit frustrated with the clubs team for not showing me exactly where my stuff was throw away so I could retrieve it. Thank you guys :)

Went for the Labor Day DJ. There were signs when walking in that had specials listed for 6pm-11pm every day, as well as multiple signs for $12 kettle and lemonade or $12 don julio for Labor Day. Bartenders were not honoring these prices. Saying "the signs were wrong" felt like a major scam that over charged customers. A $6 well should be honored not charged $15 when I was ordering during the special time etc.

Hands down worst venue we've ever been too. Security could give two shits about getting you through the line in a timely manner. Drinks were way overpriced $40 for two small drinks only filled halfway and hardly had any liquor in it. We tried someone's fish bowl of blue drink and it tasted like water. Bar tenders are super rude and didn't even acknowledge us. Filled with Chads, Brads and Brittany's. Crowd was not the vibe, just a bunch of college students wanting to get shitty drunk. Tickets were way overpriced for the experience. We will never be back lmfao

Whatever you do, don't go in their nasty water. We could barely see the bottom with how murky it was and the water ruined my swimsuit (the bottoms which were in the water got bleached out while the top was safe since I never go all the way in) Service was okay and drinks were decent. They changed the layout recently which bottlenecks everyone into the middle with nowhere to sit down unless you pay for a table & the tables are off in the back so not even ideal when you're going for a show.

Maya is the perfect spot to chill and enjoy the vibes with your friends. Such a big space with outdoor games. Sinjin provides great hospitality and takes very good care of his customers!!

Let me say that I usually give 5 stars if basic needs are met. This is just my second 1 star review out of 8 and this is why this establishment was given a 1 star. PLEASE READ FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR TIME AND MONEY. EDIT: Please look at the images. This place will finesse you out of your money and charge you for things you were not even aware of! Visiting from California, we ended up going to Maya Dayclub. Our first night being here which was on a Friday, my friends and I decided we wanted to check this place out. For a bottle of Anejo, we were quoted $600 for the bottle. As the night went on, the party host brings out the check and to our surprise, the bill ended up being $1,200+. What was on the bill? We ordered a bottle of Anejo and Red Bull. We told the party host that the bill was incorrect and later brought out a bill that amounted to $900. From this point on, the service felt "very shady." Your promoters are quoting us on a $600 bottle but we were charged an arm and a leg. We left a "$0" tip. Why? Because the party host tried finessing us and charging us more than we were supposed to. Imagine you get charged double the amount of the original cost of the bottle. How would you feel? Let's define the word tip: "A gratuity (often called a tip) is a sum of money customarily given by a customer to certain service sector workers such as hospitality for the service they have performed, in addition to the basic price of the service." There was no hospitality as we were kicked out of the club because we didn't leave a tip. The hospitality that we received didn't even equate to the basic price of service. The only solution that the individual(in the picture) had was to take a picture of my party and I, kick us out, and tell us we're never allowed back to this club. If there is a way to post a video, this post will be edited to show you all a visual of the event that occurred. The service here was terrible and the amount of disrespect we received was outrageous. For a mistake on YOUR part and the solution for you guys to just take the easy road and kick us out is crazy. I can't offer any good words for this establishment and its employees. Again, a video will be posted of the events occurred if possible or I will be attaching a link here on here that many Yelp reviewers can review.

amazing experience at Maya Day club. we got a table for 7 girls. Jessie was our server, she was a doll. so helpful, always nearby and kept us updated with our tab total. security all came up and introduced themselves to us incase we needed anything which was very much appreciated.

We had a good time having drinks and partying at Maya Dayclub during the daytime. The drinks were good and the service was great. It was a great time to come as a bachelor group. Definitely would recommend checking it out.

So a caveat, before this year I had avoided ever coming to this venue based on the often negative feedback you heard about it. This year we decided to take the plunge to see Morgan Page earlier in the summer and then went to their Labor Day show with Meduza (which was the first time I've ever seen him in Arizona to my knowledge). We've never had ANY issues whatsoever with security here and always found all the staff to be professional and reasonably courteous. They put up with a lot of crap from drunk people at times and along those lines we really didn't see them act in an unprofessional way with anyone at the club both days we were there. Food is okay and associated with their sister "District" location. Being able to get a late lunch before each show was a plus. Now the not so good. There are no lockers or anyway to stash your stuff if and when you want to go in the pool and you definitely need to be there early to stake out some territory on the edge (for Meduza 2:30 PM actually ended up being too late but we were just able to sneak in by asking a couple if they minded if we squeezed in next to them). This is honestly kind of ridiculous but seems to be a general pool party problem. If you don't want to watch the show in the pool, there really is very limited room for dancing with the area near the front DJ booth honestly stupidly small. The other thing I take issue with is the drink prices. A can of 805 was $17. This is a joke considering I could probably go buy a 12 pack for that price at the grocery store. From what we could tell the best approach was to pony up the $25 for a fishbowl with an additional shot of alcohol dumped in it for the low low price of $14. This helps out with the fact that their "concoction" is defenitely on the weak side. Yes, prices in Scottsdale tend to be high, but you can drink at the Talking Stick pool parties for literally near half the price (lots of cans are in the $8 to $9 range there). In general it makes me feel like the game at Maya is to get people in the door with reasonble ticket prices (which are often available on discount deals) and then absolutely kill therm with alcohol sales. So long story short, will I come back for shows next year? Yes, probably, if it's a DJ I really want to see and this is the main way we have the opportunity to ever do so. Would I come here just because to hang out other than during their shows? A resounding: "hell no!" So in conclusion, Maya is alright, but know what you are getting yourself into before you go. And follow their beach club attire recommendations and you won't have any problems with petty security.

I got a table this weekend for my birthday and had the best time ever. Sinjin was so great and took such awesome care of me and my family and friends. I will 100% be coming back for future events and celebrations after the wonderful time we had.

Came here for an edm show (SLANDER) and was not disappointed! A lot of my raver friends warned me about going to this venue but we had an amazing time!!! Sound system was great, the venue itself is beautiful and the layout is nice, drinks were good, staff was nice, and the crowd was amazing!! There's pool showers towards the back and I didn't see any lockers or anything to keep your stuff in while you're in the pool so hold onto your stuff or leave it on the side. Only complaint is when I asked for a 'vodka pineapple' the bartender charged me for Grey Goose - which if I wanted Grey Goose i would've said Grey Goose and pineapple... be sure to specify well so you don't get scammed. Our friends got the fishbowl drink things which were a great deal, would order that next time instead.

The one star was for the food. Came here on a Saturday for our friend's bachelorette party. We got a good spot by the edge, as it got packed (there were about 4 other bachelorette parties going on) there was literally no way of getting into the pool, you literally had to pencil jump in. That's what I did, after that I got a tap on the shoulder saying I need to leave the premises because "i cannon balled into the pool" WTH?! If I did what they said I did then why was my hair dry? I'm sorry, I don't cannon ball into pools. I'm not a kid. Mind you, there were SO many people throwing each other around the pool, jumping in, splashing like crazy. BUT they were all white. I'm ASIAN. Enough said. So if you're POC don't bother coming here, I've never felt so discriminated against.

This place specializes in losing your credit card and ID... which is convenient, if you love the dmv. Honestly, that's my jam... I love wasting hours of my life in line trying to find a new ID after spending 5 grand at a bachelor party, so this place is the best! Also, don't go here at all. lol

As someone who has been going to maya for 3 years: Please Hire bottle girls who are actually nice. Majority of them are, but a few of them are just....horrible. Never cared to get their names. Stop over selling and overcrowding. Dangerous for so many reasons, and makes the experience miserable for people who actually get there at a decent time. Relentless Beats taking over your events was the best decision you ever made!!! DJ's are always top notch and you guys are rlly keeping Scottsdale on the map.
