Google
Nice cosy place for brunch. Food was good and likewise was the service. Interesting that they offer cocktails as well. The brown sugar cup cakes was really nice. Will look forward to trying out their pastries next time. Do reserve ahead of time as it can be hard to get seats.

Google
A Palo Alto classic for this bakery/cafe that celebrate 10 years. The pastries are top notch. The cafe brunch is solid but not spectacular. Bacon is not crunchy enough and the toast served is very plain. You definitely want more from a bakery.

Google
Nice ambiance! I ate out on the patio and loved it. The food was hot 👍 Unfortunately that is about all of my positive on this one. Very slow service. Burger is jucy but no condiments are offered beyond ketchup for fries. I ask for aoli and added. Yummy! No ranch or blue cheese for frys😒. Really reminded me of trying to order American food in another country 😂.

Google
Staff weren't all that friendly. Pizza was great, love the egg on top. We ordered coffee and cappuccino as soon as we sat down but they didn't come until we are done with the pizza. And he said they are behind on the coffee. Hmmm... seriously. They gave us 2 free cookies. Honestly, I don't care about the cookies anymore.

Google
Ordered the Ranchero Omelette and it was delicious! Perfectly cooked eggs with delicious cheese topped with an avocado cilantro mash and a very flavorful salsa. A crispy tortilla and sour cream top it off. Would definitely order again.

Google
The perfect brunch on a Sunday! Service is always great. Wait time can be long during peak brunch time. There's always the bakery next door in case you need to something to hold you over. Must try: the morning bun!

Google
Nice menu. Tasty, quality food. Consistently good service. Only downside is the pricetag. $100 lunch bill for three people.

Han N Nguyen

Google
High quality & tasty food, good services but a little bit pricey. Would love to come back, though. Be low is the thick-cut french toast - $17.

Yelp
This is such a great spot to have a quick bite and get your morning coffee! I really enjoy their outdoor tables and the dining space here. I love grabbing a book to read sitting outside because they have lots of tables available. Their salmon crepe is my favorite here, and I love how soft their crepe batter is. The iced vanilla soy latte is my go-to here, and everything tastes delicious.

Anja L.

Yelp
I had, soup, salads and sandwiches to go here and wasn't impressed. Even though it doesn't cost an arm and a leg like the rest of the town, I didn't think it was worth repeating for lunch. Certainly recommend this place for coffee and pastries while sitting and people watching but other than that I can't vouch for the rest of the menu. The staff is fine and it does get busy

Yelp
Douce France is my favorite cafe in the Palo Alto area. I've been coming here for a decade plus and, I have to say, their croissants are the best in the Palo Alto/Peninsula area. The prices are extremely reasonable and I've always had a wonderful experience, whether eating in or taking out. Their plain, almond, and chocolate croissants are must-try's. Their ham and cheese quiche and fresco sandwich are delightful as well. Their tartes are yummy and look absolutely beautiful. Service is generally quick.

Yelp
I came here with my friend to grab a quick bite to eat around 10 AM, and we decided to split a bevy of pastries. To my disappointment, the baked goods here can be quite stale despite the bakery opening at 8 AM (and presumably making their pastries around 6/7 AM, for that matter). A quick scroll through the reviews tells me that this is not uncommon. We ordered the opera cake, the cream puff, the strawberry pastry, and the strawberry fruit tart. Out of all of them, the strawberry pastry and the opera cake were the best. The pastry was very flaky and the strawberry was sweet, and the opera cake offered a nice chocolatey infusion into our otherwise more mild order. The cream puff and the fruit tart were very very hard. I was pretty disappointed, but I get it. You can't exactly microwave a cream puff or a fruit tart, no one wants melted cream and lukewarm strawberries. I just wish that they could've preserved a bit of the fluffy and/or buttery texture that you typically order baked goods for. Perhaps next time I'll come and order one of their hot meals like their crepes and sandwiches, which seemed particularly eye catching.

Yelp
I stopped by Town and Country for a quick brunch after biking around the city. Since it was a weekend around noon, it was packed full, but luckily I was able to get a table inside. The servers took my order quickly, so I only had to wait a little while for them to heat up the spinach quiche. It was the perfect size, not too big, not too small, and only $5! I liked the flavor and consistency of the quiche, so I'll for sure be trying the other types soon!

Yelp
I love the texture of buckwheat crepes. We shared two kinds for brunch. La Jardiniere ($11.95) had artichoke hearts, bell peppers, tomatoes, basil, & parsley; a creamy element would've added some interest & flavor. The heartier & tastier of the two, La Bretonne ($14), was filled with ham, Swiss, egg, tomatoes, basil, & parsley. A better-than-average vinaigrette (was that balsamic I tasted?) dressed the side of mixed greens, but crepes left much to be desired. There's seating in the cafe but we ate al fresco because Palo Alto on the cusp of summer is glorious; also it felt chaotic & crowded inside. The display case of pastries did not look appetizing. Our first & most likely last time at Douce France Cafe.

Yelp
Buckwheat crepes! I've always loved this restaurant but haven't been here in a while. The shopping center has become nuts for parking. But this place is still worth coming to. I got a coffee, a delicious butter croissant, and a buckwheat crepe. Heaven!

Ping L.

Yelp
Went there on Saturday morning around 8 and it's already busy. Ordered the Provencal-style omelet, Crespeou omelet, it was very good. However, if you don't like goat cheese, the smell of it might be too strong. But the mixed vegetables and mushroom and eggs were perfect! Ham Quiche was good! Very flavourful and fulfilling! Hot chocolate and mocca were good too. The flavour was not too light or too strong! Love it. They also have a selection of pastries that i would like to try next time too! Love the decorations and the restaurant's ambiance here! Feel like a little Paris to me!

Yelp
Great place to have coffee or lunch. Had a café latte with oat milk. Very good ! Also, ordered pastries which were delicious too. What makes Douce France Cafe so special is the whole package. You have good food, inside or outside sitting areas, and boutique shopping afterwards. Service is good but it can get crowded most of the time. It is a popular local spot ! This is my wife and I's local go to for a morning breakfast and shopping. If you are thinking of lunch, they have a good array of options but more cafè style then restaurant style. Depending on the day and time you should be prepared to not find a table. Keep this in mind so when a table becomes available, you might want to have your friend or family member sit while you place the order. Outside of this, prices are reasonable and ambiance is like a local Paris cafè !

Yelp
This is one of my go-to place for western style desserts. I enjoy picking from the wide variety of mini cakes and fruit tarts to bring home a wide variety of treats. Service is quite friendly too. They're open to answering my questions about the desserts since they're so many to choose from.

Yelp
I love gambling. L-O-V-E it. I'm always up for hitting the casino, any casino. I love all the games. But one thing I don't like to gamble on is restaurants. I want a sure thing, just about every time. That's one of the reasons I love Yelp. I can stack the odds of having a good meal in my favor by researching reviews of restaurants and observing photos of their food. I almost never hit up a restaurant without Yelping it first. But this place I went in Yelpless. We actually discovered this wonderful Cafe totally by chance. Originally we intended to grab a burger at Kirk's SteakBurgers. But that plan fell apart. Parking at the Town & Country Village Shopping Center is always a bit challenging, and this time it was particularly so. We ended up on the opposite side of the shopping center and noticed how busy this place was on the way to Kirk's. We peeked inside and checked out the menu. Boy, that's a nice menu! When we got to Kirk's the restaurant was completely empty. We had anticipated we would have to wait for a table, but instead we actually had to ask if they were open or closed, as there were no other customers inside. They informed us they were in fact open. Perplexed, we took a step back to reconsider our choice. We couldn't figure out how it was that no one was eating at Kirk's. I mean, it was right around dinner time, when you would expect the place to be packed. Things that make you go, Hmmmm. We made the difficult call to bail on Kirk's and backtrack to that busy "French place" we had passed on the walk over, figuring anyplace that popular had to be good. We weren't wrong. It turned out it was very good! When we glanced at the menu on the way to Kirk's I had noticed that they served Croque Monsieur/Madame here. So I knew that's exactly what I was going to get. My wife had her eye on a Turkey Sandwich. So that's what we ordered, and just because I'm a fiend for French Onion Soup, I ordered a bowl of that too. The French Onion soup, to be perfectly honest, was a bit of a disappointment. It was delicious, but it was served on the cooler side of lukewarm. The soup was topped with a couple small slices of baguette and cheese. But apparently this isn't one of those places that pass the soup under a salamander to toast the cheese. And since the soup itself wasn't hot enough to melt the cheese, the pieces of cheese just floated around listlessly on top. Boo! I quickly forgot about that initial disappointment when my Croque Madame arrived at the table. I could tell as soon as I saw it I had hit the Jackpot. I savored every bite of that beautiful sandwich, especially the ham. It was, as they say, magnifique! I ordered a Cappucino to go with my meal and it was really good. My wife loved her Turkey Sandwich. I was hoping she wouldn't offer me a bite, because then I would have to offer her a bite of my sandwich, and I was pretty sure mine was better than hers. But my wife has way better manners than me, and, of course, she offered up a bite of her sandwich. I begrudgingly reciprocated. I loved her sandwich too, but the exchange confirmed my suspicion. The Croque Madam was way better. The Croque Madame could kick the Turkey Sandwich's ass any day of the week. No doubt about it. And it's not like I sulked for about an hour afterwards because I was forced to give up a bite of my sandwich or anything like that. If you hear differently just ignore that noise. I was happy to share that bite. Did that sound sincere? Because I've been working on trying to sound sincere. Not working on trying to BE sincere. Just working on trying to SOUND sincere. LOL. I really look forward to visiting this place again. There are a bunch of things on the menu I'd like to try. Mike C says: Liberté, égalité, fraternité, baby!

Yelp
Stopped in for breakfast and of course the pastry and dessert selection. My party ordered a few dishes: pancakes, French toasts, eggs, potatoes and a side of bacon. All the food came out quickly and every dish was wonderful. We also picked up some items to indulge inattentive, a chocolate croissant, apple pastry (not too sweet, which I liked) and a macaron. As we were eating breakfast, I noticed they also had hot sandwiches on the lunch menu. Decided to order cold sandwiches for later, as we would be out and about. I ordered the ham and cheese and the vegetarian option. Both were made on delicious bread and tasted extremely fresh. I also loved it came with a mini tart for dessert. I wish I lived closer, this would be my go to place for breakfast and sandwiches!

Megan B.

Yelp
Highly recommend Douce France! Good coffee and great pastries! They have some main dishes that are really good too but they are the typical French cuisine and kinda heavy. Delicious and indulgent. Personally I think their coffee and pastries are 5 stars but food is only 3-4. The people that work there are good at what they do. Super kind, attentive, and keep the cafe moving. It does get really busy there and there's not a lot of seating. Multiple times I've gone and been forced to get food to go or to stand around and wait for a table while holding my plate. But that just speaks to how popular it is! Inside has nice decor, reminiscent of European cafes. Hard to relax there though, because it's so busy.

Yelp
My daughter love their onion soup, so we went there for lunch on a Saturday. It was crowded. We were able to find a small table in the shade and 4 chairs. I was adjusting the chairs so we are not blocking an entrance. While I was doing that, one service guy came and asked if we want to move to a different table. I told him we don't want to sit under the sun. Then, another guy came and told me we are blocking the way when all the chairs were adjusted to the safe place. I was already unhappy, but still followed and moved to a different table. Right after that, they guided and seated 2 guys to the table we just left. This is unfair and I left without eating there. I would not go to a place that serve discriminations.

Yelp
This place was recommended to me by a friend and it's a very cute cafe in a nice area, so I was excited to stop by and try it. However it was quite disappointing. The sandwich was incredibly mediocre. It had very little flavor, not the subtle pear slices and rich Brie that I was hoping for. It just feels like ingredients uninspiringly stacked onto stale bland bread, with greens needlessly plopped on the side. Absolutely nothing about this jumps out at you. The egg's Benedict wasn't much better either. Once again the English muffin was stale, even when soaked by the runny yolk, making it very difficult to cut through and eat. The potatoes (MAYBE adding up to 2 small ones total??) lacked much seasoning or texture--I really wanted some crispiness here. It wasn't necessarily expensive, but it wasn't cheap either and certainly not worth what we paid. I was extremely disappointed.

Andreas G.

Yelp
Went here for some coffee on a Saturday afternoon. Place is pretty busy and they have a nice selection of pastries and cakes. We got a cafe latte and a small tea cake. The coffee was great and the tea cake was also good. Some nice outdoor seating. Well get back here and try some different pastries next time.

Mary L.

Yelp
The place has made huge improvements since pandemic to now. Yes, it's still your average French-American bakery cafe foods and not up to full expectations for authentic French taste, but it's still a very desirable cute cafe to gather and grab a bite. Regular customers will notice that the pandemic tables and chairs are no longer in the parking lot. You can dine inside or outside at the crowded patio space filled with customers. It does get busy during lunchtime for sure. Prices are decent, especially for those delicious crepes. I had the buckwheat crepe with tomatoes, bell peppers, cheese & artichokes. Side green salad with vinaigrette included. I also tried the French onion soup. Not bad, but definitely light in flavor, color & texture. Regular croissant was actually very good. Flaky and smooth. Strawberry cake was good as usual. They definitely have a variety on the menu to offer. There's always long lines here. Hispanic workers are wiping down tables and clearing them faster. Employees are hardworking. Cashiers are very good at ringing customers up. Busy place. Those flies still love coming to your foods here. Maybe it's the sweet stuff. Overall, much better impression. Self service water. They will bring foods to your table if dining in with a table number. Good vibes. They do want your business here and it shows. I may return for the fruit tart and chocolate bread next time. Salmon crepe is on my mind.

Curt K.

Yelp
Elegant Parisian style cafe, consistently excellent. The food and service are always superb. A little bit of heaven on earth.

Lia K.

Yelp
The food and service here is always so excellent. I was a little disappointed because he bypassed the tip on the credit card machine, and I didn't have cash to tip today so I'll have to come back lol which is no problem. Today I got a few croissants, apricot croissants, and I tried a blue berry scone for the first time here. Wow I ate the scone so fast that I forgot to take a picture!!! It isn't dense like most scones that I've had. It was airy and light, and the best scone I've ever had. I could have eaten 3 easily lol Also, he made my iced coffee perfectly. Chefs kiss lol Thank you guys for always being so amazing!

Li H.

Yelp
Good taste and good price. The service was fast and choose were many. Will very likely to go again

FG L.

Yelp
First time coming here and this is one of the few places that carry the triple chocolate mousse cake as I heard it can be difficult to make. I felt the cake was more like firm gelatin compared to the ones I have had at Ambrosia and Cocola bakeries. The triple chocolate mousse cake should be softer, more pudding-like consistency that some people seem to associate with mousse, rather than firm. It was not bad, but I felt it should melt in your mouth. The top is a big flower of chocolate and the bottom of this cake is actually cake when most is only the different layers of mousse. The cake could be done a little better.

Arcelia G.

Yelp
Came here on a whim since my friend was craving a pastry. I had a chocolate croissant and a latte. It was good but not spectacular like the best thing I have ever had. There was quite a lot of people and it was very simple and had a relaxed vibe. Our order came out promptly, great service.

Bill ..

Yelp
Love the buckwheat crepe. I had a latter that kept me awake the whole day. Good service. A very busy restaurant.

Ms M.

Yelp
Let me first say, we really enjoyed our crepes. So if you're looking for crepes and coffee, this is the place. However, we also ordered pomme frites and the french onion soup. And though I know pomme frites are french for fries, I was expecting them to be prepared the way typical pomme frites are prepared-- fried and tossed with seasoning served with a mayo-based sauce on the side. These were just fries with ketchup. A bit disappointing. I would not recommend the french onion soup. It was pretty bland. The broth was not dark, but light and clear, similar to a chicken broth. It was topped with a crunchy bread but then sprinkled with shredded parmesan (?!) which was not melted. Super disappointing. Otherwise, good service and again, I just recommend staying with the crepes.

Johnny J.

Yelp
Today I discover this gem. Omg, you walk in and you can't decide what to order because everything looks great. I ate my lunch there and took lots of sweets home... I'll be definitely back soon!

Olee L.

Yelp
Mix feelings about how to rate this place. 3:5 stars Getting there: google map is wrong. Even building map list wrong building number. Instead of B3 where it is located, it is listed as B4 on their map. Line is long, table is dirty and small. We wanted some pastries and we need to grab our own table and chairs. Nothing to clean, no cleaning agent, sanitizer, no kitchen paper/napkins. Food is regular portion and tasted normal. Coffee is ok. Not some place so impressive that makes me go back.

Haleh H.

Yelp
Overall a good cost effective place with good tasty food. - Cappuccino: It was a bit too bitter for our taste but ok. - Brie & pear sandwich: Enjoyed eating it, bread was crispy & nice. It could use more goodies inside. Looked rather underwhelming. But has great flavor. The side salad was amazing! Fresh with a great dressing. - Ham & cheese crepe: loved it! It was delicious & same delicious side salad. The menu is very long with so many good options but makes ordering a bit overwhelming as you have to stand in line. We had to step aside & let few people go before we could scan the menu & order.

Chandrika B.

Yelp
Loved their extensive menu, outdoor seating, impeccable service and yummy food, desserts and coffee!! The perfect cappuccino served with a biscotti bite on the side. Loved the dark chocolate eclairs pastry dessert and savory chicken sandwich :) everything was on point with a quick and friendly service. Will definitely keep coming back to try more items. It is slightly expensive but sooooo worth it :)

Andrew C.

Yelp
I love the vibes of this quaint, very French cafe - it just feels so authentic. Service is quick despite being fairly busy and the wide menu means you can always get something that you're craving. The food itself is pretty good but not particularly outstanding - for example, the croque madame sort of just fell apart from the softness of the bread and the wetness of the bechamel. However, the pastries look good and seem affordable - they're next on my list to try when I return!

Brianna A.

Yelp
I loved the friendly and welcoming ambiance of the place! A perfect spot to catch up with some friends and the service is quick and great. The almond milk latte was not strong enough and taste more like steamed milk, but it was nice and hot. The almond chocolate biscotti was delicious and had a good rich almond filling. Overall, I would come here again to try other items, but I'd probably skip on the coffee.

John G.

Yelp
Stopped by on an early friday afternoon, pretty busy. Ordered a latte and a pastry for a chat. Latte was really good and so was the pastry. There are small tables inside and outside for seating. The inside gives you a traditional France vibe. Pretty good place overall, can just be quite busy.

Anna C.

Yelp
I've been here a few times now. After my most recent visit, I know I won't be returning. I came at around 12:30, found a table to sit at, and ordered a drink. I was sitting for around 30 minutes, reading a book and working on my laptop. Suddenly, one of the servers came up to me and told me to leave. They said something along the lines of, "excuse me, I need this table. I don't think there's another one. I looked but I can't find one." Standing behind them were two customers. There was no "sorry" or anything, just the expectation that I would leave immediately so someone else could sit. I brought my drink to the counter myself and asked for it be packed to-go so I could at least finish it. I was very confused as to why, of all people, they told me to leave. I looked around and there were plenty of other people who were sitting with only drinks too. I look very young, so perhaps they thought it'd be okay. I've also read other reviews about the wait staff potentially being racist/discriminatory. This is the first time I've seen something like this. It was very unprofessional, and this was a very uncomfortable experience for me.

jason c.

Yelp
A perfect menu and setting ruined by poorly executed, low end food. -- Croque madam was inedible -- Cafe au lait was cold and watery -- Services was non existent -- Crepes were made with cleared canned ingredients -- croissants are gross, store-bought variety Prices were higher than my now lowered expectations. Never again!

Shreya C.

Yelp
Love love everything here. Specially the tarts and the coffee. Don't walk, RUN! A gem in Palo Alto. Service is great and the ambience is that of a cute French cafe!

Yenn T.

Yelp
Located in a super busy plaza. Popular place for a quick bite. Pay first then find a seat. Can get busy during brunch. Food comes out fast but very mediocre tasting. Eggs Benedict had good flavor but eggs were way overdone. They can reheat croissant-wich but it's not very toasty, cheese isn't melted. French onion soup isn't good, bread and cheese topping was whatever. Been here a few times and nothing stood out.

Pooja V.

Yelp
Excellent cafe to grab some warm coffee and a dessert in the middle of the day. We were seated indoors and decided to dine in instead of a takeout for our coffee. Because, guess what--we loved the cutlery! The coffee mugs around the tables tempt your senses and make you want to sit in. So we did. And didn't have any regret making the most of our afternoon. A nice stop if you need a change from all the Peet's and Philz's!

Raelene H.

Yelp
Overall I like this place. I have had good food. As described and as expected. It can be a chore to find a table but if you do it's quite nice. I love the petit tarts and the simple sandwiches. The coffee is just "ok" for me. Water is serve yourself so easy to deal with. I will say. While waiting for a friend one visit long ago, I saw a person behind the counter filling the croissant bin DROP a croissant on the floor and. Yes. Pick it up and toss it in the bin. Uh. What?? I said to him: " oh no you did not". And he looked at me. I told him he must take the bin in back and sort that mistake out. I seriously could not quite believe he had done that. I was the only one in line of sight. But still. How nasty. Again. The only icky thing I've seen. So hoping it was an aberration. Overall I like the food and the store. Seating and parking can be a challenge. I still patronize the restaurant with my friend (yes, I told her).

Jill M.

Yelp
I went here based on all the good reviews, Not sure if I just ordered the wrong thing, but this was one of the worst breakfasts I have ever had. The eggs were completely burnt on the outside.

John S.

Yelp
Great Ambiance. Locals and many French speakers taking their time to catch up with friends. Small tables like in France. Indoor and outdoor dining. Mostly outdoor. Solid cappuccinos in real cups! Mostly desserts on the left and savory on the right. Besides croissants and tarts they have crepes and salads and sandwiches with beautiful fruit and vegetables. I got a mimosa last time after the cappuccinos. Pleasant staff. Busy place in the morning.

Yuna H.

Yelp
The crepes are the best thing to order here, we love la bretonne with ham, cheese and an egg and la norvegienne, with smoked salmon. We come for the crepes. But everything else is just alright and kind of overpriced. If you want something pastries, the butter croissants are kind of bitter and don't taste that fresh. Get the chocolate croissants instead. I've been coming here for more than a decade and I've noticed how the service has declined over the years. I brought my friend because I wanted to introduce him to a cute French casual place in town, but in the last year the waitstaff ignored us a lot. In April, there was some water spilled on the bench from the previous patrons and we tried to get a waiter's attention to help us dry it off so we could sit. But the nearest waiter kept walking right past us, clearly in earshot. We haven't seen him around after that which is good. But another time we waited in line to order, and the line was going pretty quickly, meaning people's orders were being processed promptly. But when it got to our turn, suddenly everyone behind the counter disappeared. Sure, they looked busy, but they were able to provide decent service to the previous customers, so why not us? Okay, well I thought maybe they were truly busy, I'll give them the benefit of doubt. Well, for 3 consecutive times now they keep disappearing when it is my turn to order. That really embarrassed me. I keep feeling like I'm being ignored, from ordering food to having my dishes cleared to even basic greeting. It is very abnormal behavior, and I am now beginning to question if it is because I am Asian. Sadly, this place gets 3 stars because it has become the reason why I appreciate better service at other establishments.

Harleen K.

Yelp
This place is really nice and quaint. If you want to try their delicious pastries try to come earlier in the day. We got hot cappuccinos and some other treats. Each coffee comes with their in house biscotti. The owners are really nice and friendly

Jacqueline S.

Yelp
Ambience, lovely food, located in the Town and Country shopping center in an indoor shop with an outdoor food area -glad to have this available. Good service, and please ask for suggestions as you peruse the menu. Variety of Food we always enjoy and is tasty and well-prepared. Everything is fresh. Situated between PAMF - Palo Alto Medical, Stanford and PA High School, there is always a mix of people and things to see. We had eggs, - eggs Benedict- very good, coffees, pastries, fruit and relaxed in a covered (tent) area in front of the restaurant. This is a perfect place to enjoy some time with a coffee, snack, sweet treat ( muffins, cookies, tart, pastries) or a savory meal.

Armin B.

Yelp
I would give a zero to this cafe if I could. This was the worst customer service I have experienced. It was our first time here and we came here for coffee and pastries and paid and I was called for pickup. I realized that instead of latte I ordered, they made a macchiato, I told the guy the issue and he responded with a very rude and lot tone that he never makes a mistake. I said I never drink macchiato. He insisted to be right and kept shouting. I asked even I am wrong that is not the way you treat your customers and his response was " I don't care". I asked you I want to talk to the supervisor or the owner and he said he is the owner. So terrible service and I would never go back here and encourage my network to do so!!!

Alex W.

Yelp
Stopped here for breakfast and snagged an affogato (which has honestly beat several affoagtos I've had in Europe) as well as a Norveggiene crepe! The crepe was delicious--very light, superb flavor, and substantial enough. The cafe setting was very Parisian, though getting a table outside is an exercise in being assertive. Despite how packed the cafe was, the service was fairly timely and efficient. Will definitely be back here!

Emily L.

Yelp
Great service on a Saturday afternoon. Good Macaroons and in house biscotti. Coffee is strong and not to my liking, as I like it on the sweeter side. Nice ambiance !

Samson W.

Yelp
A small café with outside seating. It reminds me of the cafes in Paris. I had a small coffee. Except it was not small at all. Also had a chocolate cake. The cake was excellent. I love the service as they were nice enough to take both the regular coffee and the chocolate cake to your table. I have never gotten such wonderful service. I will be back the next time I am in the area.

Yelp
The lattes are the best! Egg scramble with sausage and Bell pepper is very good. Cold bread with no butter is a waste, ask them to give you buttered toast (I always forget to ask) The polenta would be much better Fried lightly for texture. (Don't microwave) The pastries are wonderful. A gypsy jazz trio playing music of Django Reinhardt would be perfect here. There is a band called "Some like it Hot" That would be a good fit. Love the ambiance here. Met a film maker from New York and all sorts of interesting people. One of my fav

Yelp
i've been to this café a couple of times for a quick snack/dessert, but only recently purchased a full meal (to go). they have a nice variety of french-inspired breakfast, brunch & lunch items as well as french cakes, tarts and pastries. the gal at the register was very friendly and answered many of the questions that i had about the menu and pastries and offerings. another staff member also helped answer questions, and was equally friendly. i ordered the crespeou omelet ($13), a provencal-style flat omelet with seasonal vegetables, goat cheese and herbs (egg whites for add'l $1) and a blueberry scone ($3). as i drooled over the beautiful pastries in the display case, my order was up (fast!) and i took it outside to one of the tables in the shopping center to enjoy. the omelet was lovely, very light and flavorful, and quite filling! it came with a side of fruit salad, which was freshly cut, and two slices of baguette which were warm and soft. i was so full after that i needed to save the scone for an afternoon snack! the scone was moist and yummy, lots of blueberries and blueberry juices, and not as dry as most other scones i've had. lots of parking in town & country village, but can be crowded during peak hours, so be patient as you wait for a parking space to open up!
