Mayflower

Sadly there was no food here so I was only able to get a drink. I got a London fog and it was pretty good. I liked the space. It was open architecture with big windows. I like that the bar seats are facing the window so you can work and drink your tea while having nice views and lighting. The young lady who was working when I stopped in was very nice and tentative. It's probably a nice quiet place to get some work done.

Great coffee, but super expensive. There are but a few third wave like cafes in Quebec. I tried at least a couple as good as this one for less $. The standard should be that you don’t pay extra for vegetal milk like this other place on Avenue Cartier, Cafe Olive <-They even have a % off if you bring your to-go cup and the service is excellent. Mayflower has great quality coffee, but less for the rest. If it’s the only coffee place close to you, than yeah it’s worth it once in a while. Good coffee should be a commodity not a luxury though.

Mayflower cafe has moved to a nearby building. Don't be confused by picture on google Maps, just look at the street number. Americano was good. Cafe is inside of the Sport Select store.

Coffee is good but they have moved two blocks ahead (towards provigo) across the street.

- tons of space to sit and do work with quick wifi - drip coffee made fresh by the cup to go, creamy and rich - variety of snacks was small but not the pinnacle of the experience - ambience was decent at best.

Best espresso drinks in Québec City, in my opinion. Been going for several months and the quality is consistently very high. I also appreciate that they sell interesting coffees from different roasters. They make their own now, too, but sometimes it's nice to be able to try a specialty roaster's coffee which is hard to find otherwise. The coffee I had with Onyx's espresso was probably the best cup I've ever had. The focus of this place is specialty coffee - not food - but if you're into coffee it's perfect.

Louis is the best barista in town, he is very passionate about coffee and his customers. He masters all type of coffee you any order. A must stop for all coffee addicts visiting Quebec City.
