Great venue for whatever event you have. Facility is large, clean and accessible. From a craft fair to basketball game to concert they have you covered.

Main stage- impossible for kids sitting in front row to see the actors/ dancers. This was not indicated on website. DIRTY!!! Many immunocomprimised people visit Rochester. I fear for their health! They need to hire a cleaning staff.

It was the perfect size for my sons drumline competition. It was a drive but worth it. Great food selections too. I hope they have it there next year as well.

We're here for a Joe Bonamassa concert, and it was a great performance!! The Mayo Clinic Civic Center is easy to get to, and parking is free after 5 p.m., on both the parking ramps and on the street. The seating in the upper level is a bit tight between the seating and rows. The stars were a bit steep as well. The bathrooms were clean, and there are plenty of stalls, ladies!! They offered adult beverages and non-alcoholic types, too. The only thing is you need to pour your canned beverages in a plastic glass before entering the arena. Overall, it's a nice place and we'll lit at night. For ticket prices, it would depend on the venue you are going to.

Huge place with plenty of arenas, halls, and performance rooms. Just For Kix competition!

You can definitely tell Ticketmaster got involved. It was over $30 for 2 adults and 1 child to get into a high school basketball game! Didn't even dare look at concession stand prices!

Nice place with skyway access. Many rooms for a big conference and areas to plug in and work. Their food is actually really good.

Yelp
Very disappointed. We attended a comedy show and were seated in the correct seats. After the show started, a couple arrived late and another staff member evicted us from our seats. He told us we were in a side section. After signing back into Ticketmaster and proving we were in the correct seats (with other people telling him what section we were in), he wanted to leave the other couple in our second row seats and have us move. All this time we were all blocking the show for those behind us. Plus we missed the start of the show. We finally were allowed back into our seats without an apology. I was so mad that I didn't enjoy the show. Staff need to know the sections and how to treat people.

Yelp
I was actually pretty impressed with the Mayo Civic Center. The Mayo Civic Center reminds me a lot of the River Center in St. Paul but on slightly smaller scale. Very similar in architecture and space, it is a unique change of scenery for conferences and events that I usually attend in the Twin Cities. I was expecting this space to be much smaller than other venues since it is in Rochester but it is actually very adequate in showcasing large events and activities. I was impressed by the amount of events and shows that are sponsored through this space, as well as bigger ticket names coming through. I will have to start checking their calendar to see what comes through since I only live an hour out from Rochester. The Civic Center is located right in the heart of Rochester off of the river so it is really easy finding parking or somewhere to eat as well as navigating while in downtown.

Yelp
We had the MRPA (Minnesota Recreation & Park Association) annual conference at the Civic Center and it was one of the best conference centers we have ever experienced. The meeting rooms and ballrooms are new, spacious and very comfortable. The facilities interior design and finishings provides a very warm welcome. It was impressive!!

Yelp
I went here for a 3 day convention, and stayed at the conveniently located Doubletree. It was a 7 min walk from our room thru the skyway. The arena and its bathrooms are clean , and there are picnic tables outside. Just watch out for the goose poop. The upper seating can be chilly.

Yelp
First time I've ever been to this Civic Center. We saw Cirque D'Or. We had main floor seats. We sad on padded folding chairs. Pretty uncomfortable and we were literally shoulder to shoulder with the person next to you. Seems that they tried to squeeze as many people as possible. It was a pretty disappointing experience.
