"Open for: Lunch and dinner Price Range: $$ Afghan immigrants have carved a corner for themselves in Lajpat Nagar, one of Delhi’s most thriving neighborhoods and home to some of the city’s best street food. There, Mazaar strives to replicate Kabul cuisine for Delhi customers. Get the borani banjan, a stewy dish made from eggplant and tomatoes, or the chellow kebab, chicken lightly spiced and marinated in lemon and yogurt, served with rice. You can also enjoy unlimited cups of green tea and Afghan naan, searing red and patterned from the oven, to be eaten with sides or topped with butter as a snack. Must-try dish: Look for sheer yakh, cold yogurt topped with pomegranate seeds from the mountains of Afghanistan, which occasionally appears." - Sharanya Deepak

This restaurant offers a taste of Afghan cuisine, with their Qabuli Uzbeki being a popular choice. While the food is well-prepared, the flavors might be too mild for those accustomed to Indian spices. The roti, a traditional Afghan bread, had a slightly harder texture than expected. Overall, it's a decent dining experience with reasonable prices, as you can see from the menu I've posted. PS: Sheer yakh is absolutely waste of money.

Honestly, it was a really great experience trying out a new cuisine and culture. Upon entering the place, it felt as if I've transported to another country altogether. Really liked the ambience of the restaurant. When it comes to the food, my personal favorites of the lot were the Mutton kebabs and the Uzbeki Pulao.

Nice food. It’s Afghan special, so the roti served was a bit hard but maybe it’s this way in Afghan style. Price is okay. I’m posting the menu so you could check the pricing. The Qabuli Uzbeki is their most popular dish. They have written chicken in the menu but they give mutton in it with rice. Taste is nice. Everything is a bit sweet, maybe that’s how it’s made in Afghan style. The vibe of the place is great. We were 3 people and our total bill was around 1000₹

If you want to taste true Afgani food visit this restaurant in Lajpath Nagar. All mutton & chicken dishes are awesome, can't single out any one of them. Ambience is good & so is their service. The place is fairly large with tables & chairs as well as cross-legged seating provisions, families & large groups will be comfortable. Neat & clean & we'll maintained including the washrooms.

A place to be at! If you're looking to give your tongue an authentic taste of Afghan, you're a non-vegetarian lover and are looking for mildly flavoured finely cooked mutton and chicken dishes then this is a restaurant for you to visit. Food here is worth the money you will spend. Ambience is cozy and warm. Staff is polite and well mannered. You will love it here! I ordered Mutton kebab, Chicken. Roast, Mutton Pulao, Mantu, Chickcken Shawarma and Sheer Yakh(ice-cream from Afghan) for three of us. Trust me, everything we ordered was finished and was a delight on our plates. Will visit again!

Favorite Afghani restaurant in Delhi NCR! The Fish Tikka is a must-try, even for delivery. Mutton and chicken are equally amazing. While it's not fine dining, the flavors are unbeatable. Always buzzing with a crowd, so expect some waiting, especially on weekends.

Food was super tasty. Never had tikka this yummy and juicy. Mutton pulav was also good. Rice was not sweet and was very much satisfying. Only kismis was sweet. Will recommend to try 100%.
