The 9 Best Brazilian Restaurants In London

"Billing itself as Brazilian, Portuguese, and Mediterranean, Mazal 76 in Willesden is a cut above in terms of choice, with Brazilian dishes you might not find elsewhere. It’s a simple spot, with streams of people nipping in for a quick coffee or a takeaway box. But stay a while to savour the excellent cooking and for uniquely Brazilian dishes. Escondidinho is a bit like shepherd’s pie, here made with dried beef and a cheesy cassava mash. Chicken with pequi is stellar. A rich, complex stew where the chicken is somehow both tender and crisp and the pequi, a fruit popular in central Brazil, adds a funky, sour, almost cheesy taste. Eaten alongside pirão, a cassava paste popular in the north of the country, it’s a sign of the emerging regionalism creeping into London’s Brazilian restaurants. " - tome morrissy swan

Absolutely amazing! The shawarma here is some of the best I’ve ever had — fresh, full of flavour, and perfectly made. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, and the whole place has a great vibe. Service is quick even when it’s busy, and everything is always clean and well presented. Highly recommend Mazel if you’re looking for delicious food in Camden — I’ll definitely be coming back!

A disappointment. The shawarma in pita was just average. The meat is good quality, the bread is so so. The problem is the ingredients are not mixed well. Firstly you have almost only meat with a little bit of sauce (felt tahini mostly, there supposed to be a spicy one, but either they forgot about it or it is not spicy at all). In last 2-3 bites you have a little bit of veggie salad. The cauliflowers were very good. Average fries. friendly staff.

Excellent food and surprisingly busy for a Tuesday night. Lovely staff and I saw them kindly offer a Deliveroo driver a drink whilst waiting for his order which was a pretty cool thing to do. V impressive.

Had such a good meal here. The potato wedges were insane and the blooming onion they had a special on was delicious. I got the lamb kebab in laffa and it was HUGE. Our server Ariel was super lovely and helpful and i’ll definitely be going back.

Went with a Jewish friend for dinner and we ordered a few different plates (she had to eat vegetarian that evening). Ate falafel with a green centre for the first time and learnt it was prepared with lots of coriander. The wings were addictive and the cauliflower was yummy if a bit too oily. The sharwama with hummus was quite good if a little dry (the former). Friendly service, do bring some cash if you wish to tip. It was a good address, will return with the family. You get a nice view of Camden on the other side of the food court.

I am so glad we found this place!!! As you may have noticed, when you search for “kosher near me” in central London, the restaurants you encounter usually are not kosher at all. This one is, BH! I was so happy to find such good food while we were out shopping. My friend (who doesn’t keep kosher) and I got the shawarma platters and they gave us SO MUCH food! The two of us probably could have shared one, but it was good to have so much leftover for lunch the next day. Service was great, and the prices were totally reasonable! Best shawarma in London! TYH and TY Mazal!

So happy we discovered Mazal restaurant in London! The food was delicious, fresh, clean, and kosher — exactly what we needed. We loved it so much that we came back twice during our trip! The location is perfect — right in the heart of Camden Market. It’s a joy to walk around and then sit down for a tasty kosher meal. The menu is varied and full of flavor, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Easy to find, easy to enjoy — highly recommended for anyone visiting London!
