"Tucked away in a cozy corner of Hayes Valley, Mazzat serves up memorable Lebanese dishes, many of which are vegetarian-friendly. Their mazzat presents a sample of many of their items and is great for groups to share, but it’s the fatet batinjan (fried eggplant) that will have you craving this place again and again. They’ve also got Lebanese beer and wine if you’re so inclined." - Anne Lowrey, Caleb Pershan

Finally made it in here after years of recommendations. Really solid Middle Eastern offering. The sampler platter is definitely the way to go - at $20/person, for 2-3 people, this is a lot of food. The stuffed eggplant in particular is a standout. I've never had that kind of dish anywhere else and it's very well executed.

I was able to get a table on a Friday night after about an hour wait. Great food. Everything was seasoned well and balanced. Somewhat small seating area. Would definitely recommend.

I walked an entire city block, turning down many prospects, before I stumbled upon this lil oasis. Warm eggplant (served with warm pita bread😋) love songs streaming, lovely people that were VERY helpful. If you appreciate a nice intimite dining experience, that feels like home, I definitely recommend this place.

Delicious chicken thigh dish with rice. Rice is very well flavored with pine nuts and almond nuts. My favorite rice dish in recent outings. Friend had her dish (Bamia) him that has okra and lamb and it came with basmati rice, she had to get an extra order of my seasoned rice it was that good.:p No liquor license so BYOB and no corkage fee. :)

Ordered $20.00 per person deall they have advertized on their menu. Comes with a basket of pita bread and domas (not shown). The quality is good, have vegetarian and vegan (not that many vegan meals) selections. I thought the price was a little expensive for being a non-meat meal.

I tried the kenafah, it was cold from inside cheese not melted well inside. Ingredients taste bland. I ordered Turkish coffee it was served cold no bubbles on top not strong enough. It was wast of money. If you from Arabia or ever been to Arabia you will know this place is a joke. The lady setting next to me ordered eggplant fatta , she was commenting to her friend that it tastes like sushi😂😂 when a fetta taste like sushi you know there is something wrong in this picture. DO NOT recommend at all.
