Mbano Manor Hotel Victoria Falls

Everything about Mbano Manor Hotel gentle whispers 5 Star Quality. Settled into lovely thick forest and stones throw away from Victoria Falls the hotel is tranquil and beautiful. My suite was beautiful and the bed just what my bad back needs.|I enjoyed the three meals l had. Delicious and well presented. |The staff are wel turned out, polite, professional and present.

There was so much good to rate this hotel 5*, the room, the linen, the service, the delicious food.||Unfortunatelly it is about 1 kilometer from the helicopter pad. From 8 to 5 there was this continued rumbling and hovering (non-stop) of at least 6 helicopters, if not more. No other hotel seemed closer to the launch pad than this.||Also the transfer service to town was very expensive and most taxis didn’t wanted to come during peak hours because of distance. Not only expensive, the booking is very fragile and there were no-shows. Perhaps fixing might be a better overall experience.||In non peak season this might be a compelling recommendation, but in August was not.

Mano Manor Hotel was really luxurious and special. The staff were all amazing. The rooms were spacious and light and lovely. The breakfasts were excellent. We even got to see the resident mongoose family as they raced by the facilities. It’s expensive but very special.

Our stay consisted of 2 nights. Beautiful hotel, attentive staff and large luxurious rooms. They provided a wonderful high tea for us and the breakfasts selections were great! The only downfall is the sound that is transmitted by guests in the adjoining room. The walls are extremely thick but the sound seems to be transmitted through the beautiful wood ceiling. Fortunately, our neighbors were not up late however we could hear them talking on the phone early morning and into the evening. It wasn’t a major problem for us, but it could be an issue if you have people in the adjoining room that like to stay up late.

My wife and I had a truly memorable stay at Mbano Manor Hotel in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely at home, warm, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, peaceful surroundings, elegant décor, and an attention to detail that really stands out. Everything from the room to the service to the dining experience was top-notch. If you’re visiting Victoria Falls and want a place that blends comfort, charm, and genuine hospitality, Mbano is it. We had the absolute pleasure of spending three unforgettable days at Mbano Manor Hotel for our honeymoon, and we truly cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and care by the staff, who consistently went above and beyond to make our stay special.||The service here is unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. Every detail was attended to with genuine thoughtfulness—from the beautifully prepared lodges to the little touches that made us feel right at home. On one morning when we were running late for an activity, the staff quickly packed a delicious breakfast for us to take on the go—without us even having to ask. Another time, when we simply wanted to pop into town for a few minutes, they effortlessly arranged for a personal driver on short notice. Nothing ever felt like an inconvenience; instead, it felt like they truly cared.||The setting is stunning—lush, peaceful, and full of character. The lodges are both luxurious and comfortable, offering privacy, elegance, and a true sense of place. It was the perfect backdrop for our honeymoon and created an atmosphere of calm and romance we will never forget.||Thank you to everyone at Mbano Manor for making our stay so memorable. We left feeling completely refreshed, cared for, and already planning our return.

My stay at Mbano was wonderful. The staff were attentive, caring, and kind. Mbano is black- female owned, getting the chance to speak with Dr. Matifadza Nyazema was inspiring. The turn down and ‘turn up’ services of the room were seamless. Special shout out to Praise and Helena for their flawless work. They offer delicious fine dining, with produce stocked from their beautiful garden on site. The location is a short drive to Victoria Falls, one of the seven wonders of nature. ||Due to the campus being a luxury outdoor oasis, there were many bugs outdoors. Mbano prepared for it. They supply bug spray/lotion that works well to keep them away. Inside the villa, bugs were minimal. I recommend keeping the large doors closed at all times. ||Thank you Mbano I will be back.

We had a fabulous time in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe and Mbano Manor Hotel was so wonderful. All of the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We ate most of our meals at the hotel and everything was delicious! My husband and I are vegan and they were very helpful in accommodating our dietary choices.|A relaxing atmosphere and we got to meet the resident Mongoose family.
