Google
This is their second location that focuses on more to-go orders and also has a lunch menu. The quality is as good as the other location and the food is tasty. We ordered a good amount of items and pretty much ate it all. The chicken and sausage gumbo had lots of flavor, mac n cheese had a good amount of 'gooeyness' to it, chicken strips were perfect, bacon fried rice was colorful, and the grilled chicken salad was a good touch to make it look like we were eating healthy. The people here were super friendly and made sure we had enough utensils and paper plates as we wanted to eat outside on the picnic tables. I believe you can also get the regular boil stuff if you want.

This is a fantastic crawfish place. Authentic southern style boils, sweet buttery cornbread and one of my favorite slaws I’ve had in a while. If you’re in the mood for southern style seafood cooking, this is your place.

Saw a deal on Facebook and decided to give em a try. Got a boil for 2 and everything tasted ok but kinda bland, the crab was tough, and the crayfish literally had nothing edible inside them, just guts. Fun experience but not worth the $68

Mac n cheese with sausage and chicken and a side of cornbread. Great flavor but in my opinion the chicken was a touch dry.

One of the best meals I've had in a long time. This is the November special. Huge amount of food that was so good the table was silent. The seasoning is on point. Customer service was excellent as well. This is THE spot for a feast.

I tried MBC To Go for the first time tonight, and the flavors were so fulfilling! I ordered cajun grilled salmon with red potatoes & coleslaw, and the combo was excellent! The staff were so sweet and friendly too, they were accommodating to my dietary restrictions with preparing my dinner — a plus for my lactose intolerant self. The chef suggested that I get the blackened salmon or blackened catfish next time, and I definitely will!

Yelp
Cajun food in Rose City Park... SWOON! I'm really excited about MBC ToGo taking the very best of their flagship My Brother's Crawfish location and offering it for lunch and takeout orders in a much more centralized location. Admittedly, the prices are a bit steep, but I'd rather pay more knowing my seafood is fresh and well-prepared. And believe me, the food is oh, so fresh and delicious here! Even though they are primarily a takeout location, you may want to take advantage of the picnic tables out front so you can immediately dig in! Their Po'Boys are pricey, but they make up for it with their generous portions. Their French bread rolls are crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside, and sturdy enough to hold the filling without falling apart. Their rolls feel a bit more buttery than traditional rolls you'd find in Louisiana. The remoulade accompanies nicely with the meat options that include shrimp, chicken, beef, andouille sausage, pan-fried oysters, or soft-shell crab. It was all about the Po'Boys on my first visit, and I didn't have the chance to try their seafood boils. I'm definitely planning to come back as they have a surprisingly extensive menu despite being a scaled back version of their original location. MBC ToGo is a great option for those who are looking for high-quality Cajun food without the fuss. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Yelp
Alert. Cajun food has come to Rose City Park and I couldn't be happier about that. My Brother's Crawfish has opened up a to go spot just up the street from the Barley Pod. They've only been open for a few days but what I tried was pretty damn good. To make a good poboy, you've got to have some sturdy bread, and they got that right. Blackened catfish is always a great place to begin. There's also chicken, fried oysters, andoulle sausage and even soft shell crab for poboy options. Lettuce, tomato and a slightly spicy remoulade top it off. I imagine the sauces are housemade, I was told that the hot sauce was, so I'd think the rest are as well. The food was great. I was even given some crawfish puffs, fried wontons with crawfish tails in them. Also really good! Give them a try and support local and this new business. Enjoy.

Yelp
Fried food was perfectly crispy and piping hot. Service was fast and friendly. Crawfish etoufee had a nice creamy texture. The catfish in the poboy was HUGE. I was expecting catfish pieces but it was a whole filet. The dipping sauce is house made and nicely spiced. The boba is perfectly chewy. Would come again.

Yelp
It's cool that they opened up a second location that focuses more on the to-go orders as well as being opened for lunch. I liked that they have a variety of items to choose from (you can also ask for the regular dinner items too). We ordered a good amount of food and decided to eat it on the picnic table as it was a nice day. The quality of food here is just as great as their original location. The service was pretty good and friendly. They also made sure we had enough utensils and plates to share among us. I really enjoyed the chicken and sausage gumbo, chicken strips, and mac n cheese. The bacon fried rice was colorful and the grilled chicken salad was a nice touch to make it look like we were eating healthy. Overall, super cool spot with some cool people working there.

Yelp
A little hit & miss, but we're determined to try more things here! We have ordered twice, once just a quick bite of popcorn shrimp, and the second time a full meal: salt & pepper calamari, chicken/sausage gumbo, and mac & cheese with grilled chicken. First the misses -- so far we've been unimpressed with the fried seafood, which is a bummer! I don't know if it's the sourcing, the storage, or the frying, but both items were not super flavorful and the seafood itself didn't really do it for us. Especially the calamari, whose tentacles were HARD. Like, almost unchewable. It's entirely possible they are still getting their sea legs (harhar) with new staff and equipment, so I'm not discounting these items forever, but might wait a bit before we re-try them. The gumbo was quite good, the roux could maybe go up a notch with a deeper layer of flavor -- some smokiness would be very welcome -- but overall and esp with the spicy andouille, it was tasty and we'd order it again. The standout so far is the mac/grilled chicken! The mac is fantastically old school -- unlike so many Portland spots they haven't forgotten the "n cheese" part of mac n cheese -- it tastes like CHEESE, not creamy béchamel. The grilled chicken had flavor and tenderness and was so so good with the mac. We will for sure be ordering this again (and again)!

Yelp
The service here is so nice and fast. The restaurant area is nice and clean. They have benches outside for when the weather is better! The crawfish puffs were delicious!! I didn't get a chance to take a photo of my mac and cheese - it was too good to stop once I started eating!!

Yelp
With a follow up order, it was a much better experience. I ordered the grilled salmon with rice and crab cakes, salmon was fresh and well cooked, the crab cakes were a tad on the thin side but tasty. I just wish they would have put a dipping sauce for it. Customer service is professional and very nice, looking forward to a return visit.

Yelp
100% get the bacon wrapped quail eggs! Absolutely amazing! Definitely coming back for these specifically

Yelp
You have got to order togo from here! A great business run by a lovely family. I love eating at the restaurant, so decided to give the new togo location a try. The blackened salmon was vey good, excellent blackened crust and cooked perfectly. I also ordered the garlic butter salmon foil with potatoes and corn and it was delicious. Generous portions, and the salmon was moist and flavorful. I was greeted by a friendly and professional staff, and the on-line ordering was a breeze. The togo location will be my frequent stop for fabulous food without having to cook.

Yelp
The staff are super friendly and the food was amazing. Everyone needs to come try ASAP.

Yelp
They get a one because my shrimp and crawfish were not cleaned. Those crawfish needed to be purged and the shrimp needed to be deveined front and back. It was gross. Didn't bother trying for a refund because I got a pick up and took it home and it was a president day special. I know I asked for my shrimp with the head on but you can still crack the front and back and cleaned them.

Yelp
Right up the street from where I live. Very welcoming, great menu with lots of goodies to choose from. Freshly made :)

Yelp
I've been going to the one in se for years! So happy to see this one open closer to my part of town. I did a call in to go order. The staff was helpful and great! The food was amazing, garlic fried dungenes and snow crab.

Yelp
Glad MBC finally opened up a second location. Was able to make an online order for pickup and it was quickly prepared in a timely manner. Ordered the usual spicy garlic butter crawfish and it was enough to satisfy my craving... And did I mention they finally recently got a shipment of love crawfish??
