I had a double cheeseburger here and was really impressed ! It reminded me of in-n-out. The patty was thick and juicy and flavorful. I will def be getting it again! 👌🏻

great community spot. can work on laptops, read a book, meet a group for drinks, get a blank street matcha, use the bathroom while at the park, etc etc! especially good vibes in the summer

I finally checked out this renovated space that is now McCarren Parkhouse. I only visited the bar so I can't rate the food. The bar area is very nice. The decor and ambiance transports you to another place. It's great that it is in this park setting. The Happy Hour prices are very good and the service is also good. I will be returning.

Great place to take a break from your day in the park! You have the options of getting food, coffee, ice cream, and a beer or cocktail all in one place. Wonderful place for all ages. This was a nice hidden gem to the park.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this one needs to be said: McCarren ParkHouse was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. We ordered a cheeseburger and a Bloody Mary — both were absolutely disgusting. The burger was greasy, soggy, tasted like rubber, and had a weird off-putting flavor that made me stop halfway through. The Bloody Mary? A glass of cheap, expired tomato juice with a splash of regret. Absolutely no flavor. I felt nauseated the entire night afterward. Literally sick to my stomach. The vibe? Completely careless. Like they know they’re in a park and assume people will keep showing up no matter how bad the food is. I wouldn’t even give them a single star. Zero stars. Avoid this place. There are so many better options in Williamsburg — don’t waste your time, money, or your health here.

Part coffeeshop (Blank Street), part ice cream parlor (oddfellows), part sandwich shop (ClubClub) and part bar.. there’s someone for everyone here! Nice outdoor seating area (which does get busy on weekends / sunny days) and some indoor seating as well. I like that it is in no way fancy - just a simple spot in the park for food and drinks. The frosé was excellent.

Located square in the middle of McCarren Park great location. I’ve had the burger and cauliflower sandwich so far. Burger is a solid smashed burger. I like how it’s under $10. The cauliflower sandwich is tasty. It’s on fresh French bread, the cauliflower is battered, and it has fried eggplant too. Seasoned with a chipotle sauce I don’t think my photo does it justice. I’ll probably get the burger again next time but it’s worth trying! You can also get coffee / pastries next door, or grab a beer from the bar. Plenty of seating inside/outside. 2 gender neutral bathrooms, one private and one with multiple stalls.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food at McCarren Parkhouse. I tried both the Mortadella sandwich and the double cheeseburger. Both were excellent in quality, freshness, and taste! The bar is great as well with great options for mixed drinks. I recommend McCarren Parkhouse if you are taking a stroll or having a picnic in the park. They have a bunch of picnic style tables outside for you to eat and drink. Also, pro tip they offer an off-menu grilled cheese sandwich if you have kids and they enjoy that type of thing.

Walk up and order for food at the Club Club inside. Fast service and quality sandwich. I got the Chicken Salad Club and it was delicious, a mix between a BLT with chicken salad. Frozen margaritas were good for happy hour. We went for trivia and it was packed so we weren't able to get seats inside. Outdoor seating was great! Lots of picnic tables.

I've been on the hunt for Poetry Open Mics lately and since there are not too many on Long Island, I ventured into Williamsburg to perform at ParkHouse, located within Mccarren Park. What a cool, inviting space! In addition to these weekly open mics, they also are open daily for sandwiches, ice cream, drinks, coffee, catering and private events. The vibe was very laid back, casual and chill (yup, I know all those three basically mean the same thing!). If I lived in Brooklyn, I'd probably be here a few times a week. A lot of athletes and park-goers were popping in to use the restroom, so it seems to be a public space as well, which is awesome. Cool spot, check it out if in the area!

The point of this update is to inform you that I had some issues when visiting the place to work and network with other people in my field as I am a visit to New York. But my time from April 23rd, 2023 to November 8th, 2023 has been a mixed bag, not only do two bartenders not know how to use the right choice of words, but they are based and very discriminatory towards guests and I'd happen to be documented it all and post it on other social media site. Not once was I pretty much bullied by other racist customers that come there every day too, but management was informed on several text messages and text and it failed it be dealt with, Not only customers but I felt some tension inhouse, but bartenders don't like each other and it made the customer experience worst. I was harassed because I came to New York and found a place where I could network and talk to people as I am also doing work for the city of New York under the NYC Press but making films in the city like. This place is a joint effort between NYCParks and Blank Street. CLUB, and BLANK coffee. It's still open to the public and people of all should not be told that, their presence upsets people all the time. I am a customer every time I am there and spending so much money and I was told that I need to stop coming because looking at you makes them sick. Yes, this is the word the manager says to me when I don't smell, I dress pretty damn well and always show respect by tipping more than 20%-25% most of the time to everyone. I can show you my tips too, One tip for an 18-dollar purchase I tip 5 dollars, just to give you an example. The management doesn't know how to take a racist couple or parents to stop but instead, tells the victim (Me) that I have to stop coming all the time. As I explained to management, you have no idea how to handle this. So I will not be going to support a place that doesn't support real people with real intent to support their business in solidarity. I even purchased food for other homeless men and women while there and even treated some people who were broken as well but live in the area.

the fries are the best thing on the menu. The burgers are practically raw. Even when asked for Well Done Its Raw in the middle. There is a female mixed raced( who knows, who cares) cashier who has a very nasty attitude. She has issues with people wanting their food a certain way as if asking for COOKED FOOD is a bad thing. My very few experiences their had been trying and annoying because of the bugers.i would never go there again i dont see the hype. I dont think its that hard to make a burger Well done no pink meat! but for them it is. The cashier that was there today around 2:30 (10/26/23) she has a nasty attitude. She shouldnt deal with people if she wants to pick and choose who she wants to be nice to when working at a job like the one she has.
