"McClure is the pitmaster behind McClure’s Barbecue, which had a restaurant Uptown for a few years and most recently operated out of Nola Brewing (he closed the taproom location in July after losing his lease)." - Clair Lorell

"Located in Nola Brewing's taproom, McClure’s Barbecue turns out ribs, brisket, pulled pork, chaurice sausage, and chicken with a variety of sauces and sides like barbecue jambalaya and barbecue poutine. Open daily from noon to 6:30 p.m. for takeout or for dine-in at a socially-distanced table." - Clair Lorell

"McClure’s is yet another place known for its smoked meat that excels in the fried chicken sandwich arena. Located in Nola Brewing’s taproom, McClure’s Barbecue is currently throwing its hat in the ring with a series of Monday chicken sandwich wars, rolling out a handful of versions — banh mi, buffalo bacon and blue cheese, cordon bleu, and a classic with pickles." - Clair Lorell

Beer from the NOLA Brewery was wonderful but the ribs and sides.. not that great. Ribs were dry and so was the Mac& Cheese. Sauce helped make the ribs taste better

Did the online ordering and curbside pickup which was super easy and they brought it out to my car with no issues. Ribs were spot on with the perfect amount of seasoning. Sauce has a fantastic homemade taste. Pulled pork had a good consistency - not dry but not mushy. Slaw was fresh. Tasted better than my own BBQ!

I hate to leave negative reviews because I believe folks are doing the best they can. So I offer this with the desire to share some honest and hopefully helpful feedback. Tonight my friend and I ordered the chicken nachos and they were so salty that we barely ate them. They also did not have much other flavor. The coleslaw also was tasteless and we didn't much. I've eaten McClure's BBQ before when it existed as a stand alone restaurant and had been very impressed. Tonight's experience was very disappointing.

Top Notch Meat! Very rustic, don't expect linen or metal silverware, but the smoked meats are amazing. I had 3 meat combo with two sides: Ribs: 9/10, Brisket: 10/10, and Pulled Pork: 10/10, Mac n Cheese: 3/10, Coleslaw: 7/10. The sauces are just ok. The main star is the brisket and pork, ribs were great, just a little dry. The mac n cheese was disappointing, and the slaw decent. Didn't mind not having table service, but the reason for 4 stars was the rude and ineffectual guy taking my order and 20% tip. Would still recommend based on quality of the meat alone.

Super delicious BBQ, like maybe the best I've ever had. The fact that it's housed in the same building as NOLA Brewing is just an added bonus. The prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are large. Will definitely visit again in the future.

Pulled pork and ribs are smoky and good. Brisket is of the thick sliced variety, and it's tough and fatty. Sides are not window dressing here; the candied greens are like an out of body experience and the slaw is lovely. Sauces are lovingly presented and doted over, and a couple of them are seriously damn good...like you're tempted-to steal-them good. The portions seemed smallish to me, but my wife disagreed. Worth returning to for another go at all but the brisket.

Pulled pork is okay, sauces are pretty good. I always try brisket and am usually disappointed. Not disappointed here. It was pretty good. The place is in the brewery so when you only see the brewery, you know you're there. AND Best Collard Greens I've ever had. "Molasses stewed."

First time here today. Visiting from Texas. And It was amazing. Got the chopped brisket sandwich! The Mac and cheese is out of this world crazy good! The Creole potato salad was good too. Loved the idea of their different bbq sauces. Kansas City is my favorite! The Texas sauce was right on point! You can taste that their food is all home cooked! Sad that I don't live here! Will have to stop by when I'm in town again!
