Google
Fun romantic place. Tai, our server has a great sense of humor and best wait staff I've experienced in a long time. Crowded parking lot, but come on in, plenty of tables available.

Google
This is one of the nicer McCormick's and schmick's I've been to, and the food is always very good to excellent. The service in general has been very good as well. I really like the decor of this place with natural wood and glass art. It can be difficult to find parking near the restaurant, particularly when the mall is busy. There is a free garage on the other side of the mall that usually has room.

Booked our company’s annual holiday party and was so impressed by the service we received! Our party was at the Tigard location, and my point of contact was Kristen. Start to finish, she made sure we were well taken care of, from custom menus, to beautiful decor and very clear communication. When we arrived, we were happy to see that the room was set up beautifully and was the perfect size for our party to all sit together. Mitch was our server and he did an incredible job managing our team. The food was delicious and paced well for the night. The other support servers were lovely as well and seemed to all work harmoniously together! I would highly recommend this restaurant for any larger celebration or party you may want to host. We will definitely book something here again in the future! Thank you:-) Sincerely, The VIDA team

I recently had the opportunity to attend a business dinner at McCormick and Schmick's. The restaurant exudes a classic steakhouse ambiance, and the service staff demonstrated both friendliness and efficiency. However, I must express my disappointment with the quality of the food, which fell short of my expectations and seemed overpriced.

We had a birthday dinner last night. The receptionist wished me happy birthday while we checked in. I ordered West Australian Lobster Tail, and my husband had Wagyu Top Sirloin. The meals were really tasty. The atmosphere was good, and the staffs were friendly and always smile. Before we left, they gave me a menu with my name and staff's signatures. What a fantastic evening.

I was in Portland for around 36 hours. And my main 3 meals were great. This one best above all. Parking lot looked full but it was due to surrounding stores. No wait for a late lunch. Oysters were delicious. Tried all three on the menu. Also tried to grilled oysters which we good as well. Perhaps one of the best cups of clam chowder I have had. Was very warm and fresh. I was not expecting such a good soup during a mid day late lunch. I also tried the Australian lobster topped with shrimp scampi. This was also very good. Sour dough bread is one of my favorites so that helped also. My server Anthony was on point. Best service I have had I a long while. Very attentive but not too much. Anticipated my needs but not overbearing. Pleasant demeanor. Would definitely recommend if you are a seafoodie. My meal was pricey but by choice. They have other less expensive options as well.

Google
The first McCormick & Schmick's restaurant opened in downtown Portland in 1979. With the closure of the Portland location, the only remaining McCormick & Schmick's in the area is now in Tigard. I used to visit McCormick & Schmick's Harborside at the Marina near the South Waterfront that closed last year in March. The food and location were splendid. I particularly enjoyed their cocktails (margarita) & crab cakes. Great service and delicious food, conveniently within walking distance from my workplace. The location is fantastic but best enjoyed in the summer, as it's almost deserted during the winter.

The food was phenomenal. My steak was cooked just right. Now, this may be a fluke, but we did sit for almost 15 minutes before the server came to the table.

Yelp
(1/22/25) Place is nice inside. Reminded me of titanic...like that's how it would've looked with the large bar under a dome shaped ceiling. Our waitress was great! Her name was Sarah. She was very attentive and made everything on the menu sound delicious! The food: I had calamari and tried the burger. They were good. Nothing super special. I've had a tastier one from Red Robin if I'm honest. Our friends had steak and salmon. Their food looked yummy! Drinks: I had lemonade. The raspberry lemonade and the regular lemonade were amazing! I love how tart they were! So far I had a good experience. The only negative I could list was the bread, soup, and salads did take a while to arrive. It can be kinda pricey also. I would go again.

Yelp
Christmas Day 2024- A Perfect Storm: MS took too many reservations, did not order enough food, and did not have enough wait staff. Had reservations for two, still had to wait over an hour to be seated. Another half hour to get our food order taken. Another half an hour to be informed they no longer had filet mignon or butter cake. Another 45 minutes to actually get our dinner. We love MS but will probably not be back. A special and celebratory holiday dinner date deserved better planning and execution. Merry Christmas

Yelp
Stopped in for a late dinner on a Saturday evening and were told the dining area was booked for the night- no worries we sat in the bar. The service was great (and a large part of the reason they got stars) and the appetizers- shrimp kisses, crab cake and carpaccio were all full of flavor. The steak was eh, the mashed potatoes were tasteless and the asparagus was undercooked. I would go back for drinks but not for a meal!

Jeff W.

Yelp
Sadly, told by our regular server today, this Tigard location will be closing on Saturday,7/22/25 . Reason given was "normal lease expiration." Same reason the parent group, Landry, gave last year when it closed its last location in Portland. A very sad ending to what was once a wonderful privately owned group of restaurants. Is Jake's far behind? We surely hope not!

Yelp
My team of 13 came in and was greeted/seated right away. Our server was amazing, attentive and fast. Inside is beautiful, slightly dark, very romantic setting. I ordered the blackened chicken and it was good. The mushroom and bell pepper inside the pasta had a lot of flavor including the chicken. Portion size for lunch was a good amount.

Yelp
Regular dinning is over priced and firmly mediocre. They're happy used to have reasonable food options and were always delicious. The place was packed every afternoon from 5-6. Fast forward about 2yrs. HH food is atrociously expensive. $4.50 each for tacos!!! Wines and cocktails have gone up. Took these pics at 5:22. No problem getting a table. They dropped $2 taco Tuesday. This is the results HH food is really good albeit too expensive. Service is ok-to good. HH food is every expensive and very small portions

Margarita A.

Yelp
The staff here are nice yummy pie #yum The place is so cool! The seafood fettuccine was yummy too the stuffed crab and shrimp halibut so good! You should definitely come here

Yelp
Always a great meal at this restaurant. I prefer vegan, so I asked the server to challenge the chef to make me something VEGAN for lunch. Score! Beautiful pasta dish with grilled veggies, wonderful seasoning, just yummy. Topped it off with a scoop of their berry sorbet. More yummy!

Amanda V.

Yelp
Invited for a private dining event, and all the details were perfect. The staff provided excellent recommendations, and the food was excellent.

Yelp
Took my kiddo out for a birthday lunch. We made reservations and I noted we were celebrating a birthday. The day prior, the restaurant called me to ask the birthday boy's name. Upon arriving, we were seated immediately. We had the Buttermilk Fried Oysters and Brussel Sprouts. I ordered the Stuffed Salmon with a Lobster Tail. The Stuffed Salmon was an extremely small portion and did not match its cost. My son ordered the Wagyu Steak with a Lobster Tail and Lobster Mashed Potatoes. My son did not care for the Lobster Mashed Potatoes. The restaurant was clean but the service was mediocre. We were served by Mark and in the beginning, he checked on us frequently, but once we ordered, he stopped coming by much. The person that brought our food was nice and lively. When it came to "celebrate" my son's birthday, they brought him a small desert with a candle in it. I'm not sure why they bothered calling and asking for my son's name when they never used his name - he wasn't greeted by name, there wasn't any singing, nothing. So I was left wondering if that is how they normally celebrate birthdays or if we got shorted. We were there an hour and a half. The food was slow to come out and while the food was good, it wasn't spectacular. Service is one of the most important things for me when I dine out. Due to the service, I would not return. I've been to McCormick and Schmicks several times, in multiple states and this was the worst visit by far.

Yelp
Haven't been here in years but we were invited by some friends for dinner so we decided to go. The place is trying to be posh and fancy but lacking the service. We ordered 4 entrees and it took them an hour to bring them along with our drinks which had no straws. The calamari appetizer was okay. I ordered the Parmesan crusted sole which was also mediocore with undercooked carrots that I wasn't able to cut into. For the high ticket price of each entree I was honestly expecting more. Service was slow since they had 2 holiday parties going on that were taking up most of their time. Overall, for the high ticket price of seafood and the low quality service I rather spend my money at Chart House and get better ambience. They do have lots of parking out front and it's conveniently located in the Bridgeport plaza.

Yelp
Late afternoon lunch. I like from the bar here and the staff are really nice. Fancy place but still it's okay to be casual. That's why I like coming at this time ( 1:30 PM ). If you want a good steak done the right way, go to a steakhouse!

Jennifer H.

Yelp
Our server Nick, was the one reason I'm rating. We, my partner and I, sat in the bar for a before movie happy hour and cocktail. He was one of the best servers I have had. He was attentive, not overly so, had recommendations, knowledgeable, and just really had a lovely impact on us. Our food was solid, drinks ever better, we were very happy with our experience. Please tell Nick he did exceptional and we will return because of him.

Yelp
Went here for the first time tonight for my husbands birthday. He was gifted a Landry's gift card, and we didn't feel like going into Portland so we thought we'd give this a try. It was a really fantastic meal! We went to chart house several months back and it was really good (location and view are 10/10) but we enjoyed the menu and food more here! Kumamoto oysters with assorted mignonettes were awesome, and rival the best I've had in SF/CA North bay. I got the scallops with bacon corn hash, and he got the Parmesan sole with prawns, and swapped potatoes for the risotto (fantastic decision). Both were awesome - the sole apparently was a bit on the salty side, but still very good. Service was great too. We'll be back for sure!

Bar R.

Yelp
Excellent beer, excellent meal. The salad was beautiful and the table had steaks and lobsters, but their oysters took entirely too long to come out. My potatoes were wonderful, and the dessert was perfect. The only downside was that of the 3 toilets were NOT flushed in the ladies room. Gross.

Yelp
Just to start we had a horrible experience a year ago at the waterfront location. We decided to try the Tigard location. After making online reservations and mentioning it was Shannon's Birthday I received a call to confirm our reservations and to let me know they would do everything they could to help celebrate her birthday. From the time we walked in, the host wished Shannon Happy Birthday and as soon as we sat down (our server) Lexi followed up. She was so sweet complimenting Shannon's hair and outfit. She was very knowledgeable on the menu and gave us great suggestions. Our food was amazing! But Lexi made this night special for us. She was literally the best server I've had in years. I complimented her on her service and she told me she had only been a server since October. If I had an opening in our business I would steal her!

Angelynn J.

Yelp
I don't understand why this place has such a bad rating. We really all enjoyed ourselves here. The food was amazing as always. I had their lobster and it was delicious, I just wish I had asked for butter then it would have been even better. Our waiter was so kind and he made sure we had everything we needed. We never went without water which I love. The restaurant was so clean and they were able to seat us inside which was so great. I would visit here again.

Deb K.

Yelp
Three stars at best. Five for our server, two for the food as the risotto was very salty and I could not eat it. The salmon was a little salty but I managed to eat that. What was good, besides our sweet server? The beet and burrata salad! That was excellent even though it didn't look like it was going to be anything special. My hubby had the Wagyu burger and said it was not bad for a burger.

Cristina C.

Yelp
I really like this place. It is a high price tag, but their lobster bisque, omg!!! So delicious and buttery. I've had a few drinks and they have all been great. But I crave the bisque.

Ann C.

Yelp
I would highly recommend coming to McCormick and Schmick. Our waitress Nicole was phenomenal! We were treated like family!

Kathy M.

Yelp
Made a reservation on OpenTable for 2 to celebrate my birthday. They called me later that afternoon to confirm the reservations and whose birthday it is and if I want a table or booth. We got there and our table was ready. We sat at an upper seperate level in the middle under a dome roof. It was very nice. We ordered shrimp kisses as our appetizer. Bacon wrapped shrimp with pepper jack cheese. I ordered a seafood Alfredo. So fresh and delicious. Fresh seafood and pasta was delicious. The next dish was center cut Ribeye. Medium rare with mashed potatoes. So delicious . It was a great celebration for my birthday. The restaurant got me a chocolate lava cake with candy chunks and peanuts with scoop of ice cream in the middle. And they put a candle and lit it up for me. How fun and exciting. This was a very good first experience at this restaurant. The staff are great. My server, Charles, gave us his recommendation on good food choices and took care of us. Thank you for a wonderful birthday!!!!

Dennis C.

Yelp
The service was top-notch. I enjoyed fresh oysters, a perfectly cooked ribeye, and a side of lobster tail. Everything was delicious.

Rachel E.

Yelp
I went here for Thanksgiving and the turkey was so tough I couldn't eat it we were charged for soup which came with the dinner. I told them I would accept a free piece of pie to compensate but I was charged that too. I complained 3 times to management over the phone and was told I'd get 3 coupons for free appetizers. After a month I finally received them but I have to buy an entree to use it. I thought I would just be able to get a n appetizer and a couple drinks and not have to have a full meal. Every time I call the person I need to talk to isn't available. They should just comp me a couple lunches and be done with it.

Paul C.

Yelp
This is a fairly fancy place and everyone is very friendly. We were let down by the food. Our steaks were served Luke warm, but the added sides were piping hot. This leads me to believe they forgot about the sides, so the stakes sat waiting. No one asked how things were at the end, even though half a steak and all the mashed potatoes were left on one dish.

Xia P.

Yelp
I've never met a Landrys restaurant that I didn't like. I finally made my way out to this Tigard location and I really enjoyed it. I had a wonderful time here last week and we came in for happy hour food and drinks. 100% would recommend. Pork belly tacos, 10/5 stars - I should have ordered more of these! Chicken lettuce wraps (hold the peanuts), 15/5 stars - I LOVED this & should have ordered more! Seared Ahi tuna - 4/5 stars, it was solidly good but I just liked the other items in my order more. Fried calamari - 5/5 stars, cooked perfectly & not too much batter. Mussels in white white garlic sauce - 4/5 stars, I don't like mussels but my boyfriend does. He really enjoyed them. I tried one and it was alright but in the broth, it was a little imbalanced. It tasted like the wine needed to be cooked out a bit more and there should have been more butter or garlic but it was still good especially considering that I don't like mussels. Oyster bar - 5/5 stars, My boyfriend had one of each of the different oysters and he really enjoyed them and the different sauce options. His favorite was still the classic cocktail sauce but he said the oysters themselves were good. I don't eat oysters but I'll take his word for it. Hahaha Sourdough bread and butter - 5/5 stars, perfectly cooked. Perfect flavor. Good salted butter. Tomato bruschetta - 0/5 stars. We ended up sending this one back. The crostini were rock hard and either burnt or stale despite being pale af. We let our server know and she was cool about it and promptly took it off the bill. No muss no fuss. Super easy & professional. The whole meal was tasty and my dining experience was exactly what I expected from the brand. Keep up the good work guys! I added a photo of the food and now I'm getting hungry all over again hahaha.

Mo M.

Yelp
Definitely not a seafood person myself but this place made me almost change my mind. The steak was really fresh and cooked to perfection, and their sourdough was literally out of the oven when I got it at my table. This place is so nice when I don't feel like cooking. You have to try the truffle butter with mashed potatoes or fries, if you get steak, get some for it too! In the photos are the ahi tuna and bone in rib-eye.

Christine W.

Yelp
We are regulars & love coming here! Always a cozy vibe, great food & service. Came on NYE & had buttermilk pan fried oysters & prawn cocktail for apps. Then had shrimp Caesar & lobster mashed potatoes. Drool. Our server was great. The host greeted us & kept us updated on when our table would be ready, as we waited in the bar having a cocktail. Manager thanked us for waiting. Could not have asked for more attentive service.

Bruce A.

Yelp
Great people, they are so friendly. The food is outstanding top tear. The ambiance of the restaurant is very classy. Are waiter is on point

Linda F.

Yelp
We were there about a week ago and went to the bar since it was happy hour. We were disappointed and have been here many times as we loved their happy hours. This time the menu changed for the food and not in a better way! The calamari was covered in a honey sauce and not appetizing. The Bau buns were stale, the chicken lettuce wraps looked awful, a light orange goo, and no one in our group, after the first taste was willing to eat more and it was taken off our bill. The bruschetta was previously good and now had a strange taste to the tomatoes. The only good order was the shrimp cocktail. We were really disappointed and probably will not go back again at least for happy hour.

Paul M.

Yelp
Not sure why this place doesn't get enough recognition but this place was amazing from the staff to the end it really made our anniversary feel magical to say the least. Before they night started we got a call to check in for our reservation. Victor, the host of the restaurant, wanted confirmation and asked what I was celebrating, I informed him that I would be celebrating my 4 year wedding anniversary, he then informed me that he would let the staff know to make the night feel really special. When we arrived, the host took us to our table we sat against the bar and the ambiance was lively, not too quiet but just loud enough to feel calming and relaxing. Anthony was our servers name and was very attentive, I didn't have to ask for a refill he was already on the way with a drink, I really appreciated the service he provided. The food was really good though the calamari was a hint of spice it did not deter from how savory it tasted, the soups we had ordered were also tasty. When it came to the steak the server wanted to check if it was to our liking, it was well prepared and we enjoyed it immensely. This place deserves more stars and hopefully folks give this place a chance it was an amazing dinner experience, my wife and I will definitely come back again, thank you to the staff for making our celebration feel wonderful

Tia J.

Yelp
Super disappointing! Terrible service. Cold food. Burnt potatoes (but still cold). Upscale prices but lowscale service and food. We were excited to take our parents out to dinner here for a nice night out. This place is portrayed as an upscale steak & seafood house. The service and food did NOT live up to "upscale" standards on the night that we dined there. We made reservations about 2 weeks in advance so we were NOT unexpected guests. Our server took drink orders from our party of 4 within about 10 minutes. After that we had a hard time getting anything. We stopped him to asked about our drinks after about a 20 minutes wait. He said they were coming and offered to take our food order. Approximately 10 minutes later, 30 minutes total, we received drinks (2 beers, 1 soda, 1 lemonade). Each course that came was an extremely long wait. A total of 2 hours in this restaurant. We received 2 soups, brought to the table by a different server, BOTH COLD, and a shrimp appetizer. We noticed other tables, with different servers, had received bread baskets. We flagged our server down to ask for bread and he acted like since we hadn't asked for any he didn't know we would want it. We had to ask him twice more for the bread. We also asked for drink refills each time we asked him for the bread. We watched another server pour a smoked bourbon drink, table side, at a nearby table. We wanted a order 2 of them, and glasses of wine, but since we couldn't even get soda and lemonade refills we decided to skip ordering anymore drinks. When our entrees arrived they were brought by yet a different server. We asked this new server for bread and drinks. They both finally arrived from the new server and then our original server strolled by asking if we still needed refills. We ordered the shrimp scampi, 2 steak dinners and the crab/shrimp cake entree. ALL of the food was barely lukewarm. The crab cakes were cold. The gravy on the lobster mashed potatoes was cold enough to be slightly congealed. The roasted potatoes were absolutely burnt but still served lukewarm. We skipped dessert all together. There's no way we were going to waste more money in this restaurant on poor quality food. This place was entirely disappointing and we're embarrassed to have invited our parents here for dinner. Our bill totaled over $300. When we told our original server, who showed up with the bill, how disappointing the meal was he told us we'd need to contact someone else about that. So with that advised I'm letting my Yelp community know that this was a poor choice of restaurants for us. There are some really good steak and seafood houses throughout Portland and this is NOT one of them.

Janine C.

Yelp
Food was great. Service was subpar. We were celebrating my birthday and had requested special seating, etc. Server never acknowledged my birthday or offered complimentary dessert. When we called to express our disappointment, the floor manager could only respond by saying "I'm sorry to hear that" and that the server must have been overwhelmed. No offer to ask for my number or gift card to compensate for the underwhelming experience. Very disappointed in the response and won't be back.

Yelp
Some friends met at McCormick & Schmick's Grill last night for happy hour. I had not been there for some time and it was packed! Everyone seemed to be having a good time in the bar. There was one waiter, but man, he was really focused and pleasant. It did take time to get our bevs, but the food came out pretty quickly and was delivered hot because they seemed to have several people running food. The tacos and burgers were full sized, but happy hour priced. Not everyone does that! Delicious too! I read some of the other reviews and it seems that staffing is tough for this restaurant, just like everyone else. We granted grace for the delay in getting our drinks. For a restaurant to guarantee great service, they have to limit hours or seating at this time. Staffing is hard to come by, but our server last night was great!

Jina H.

Yelp
Wow! What service and good, that includes desserts too! For a Saturday without a reservation, bar seating was available for our party of 3 as we were over 21. If not, it would of been a 30min wait. We chose the bar and lots of seating/space- the bar, high top tables, and low tables as options. Originally started at a high table and our server was helpful in helping us grab a table as diners were leaving. We were having a hard time deciding what to order so ordered quite late after getting some drinks, and food came out within 15minutes. Server was patient with us. We ordered soup, appetizers as our meal and some main entrees too. The lobster bisque had great flavor and you definitely could taste the sherry. The calamari portion was enough to be a main, even though it's an appetizer! Pork belly appetizer was sweet and really tender, we did think it would be slices of pork belly and not the way it was presented, still good. The stuffed salmon was moist and a great portion, love that it came with mashed potatoes (can't go wrong here) and veggies. Charred octopus had different textures and we enjoyed the fact that the octopus was not overcooked to be rubber- good consistency! Shrimp scampi was good too- shrimp to pasta ratio was perfect! We all shared the dishes and definitely had leftovers! The long island was strong and we were checked in on multiple times. Always room for dessert and we loved that there were options of items (fruit based, chocolate, cheesecake etc) and dessert coffees too! Not all the desserts were heavy and rich so there was balance. The dessert portions are shareable and recommended saving room after your meal! Everything was plated and presented beautifully, the taste was top notch and our server was the true star! Gave great recommendations, genuine conversation and checked in at all the right times. The happy hour menu also looks great and my friends and I already decided we would love to come back and try more from the menu!

Yelp
We just had a graduation party in the private room for my daughter. The event planner, Kirsten Hailstone was fantastic. She really went the extra mile to make sure the room looked beautiful and the service was perfect. The two servers she selected to take care of 20 of us (Ty and Jenna) were wonderful. They made sure our every need was met with warm and professional attention to everyone. The food was absolutely delicious with everyone being served at the same time (not a small feat for a party of 20). Kirsten had an additional bartender added for the evening to make sure our glasses were always filled. My daughter felt very special and I am so glad we decided to use McCormick and Schmicks in Tigard for the cocktail party and dinner. Thank you again Kirsten!

Cycledawg A.

Yelp
I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. My family of 6 people came for lunch service. Service was great! We were seated immediately and tended to throughout the meal. The food was good, but a little heavy on the salt.

Brittaney A.

Yelp
Where tf do I even begin. They COMPLETELY ruined my husband's 30th birthday. So I booked 3 WEEKS IN ADVANCE for my husband's 30th birthday dinner. I called multiple times the week before to check our reservation and make sure the candles we were bringing were okay to bring. 3x I was told yes. I called THE DAY OF to make sure it was okay and again they said yes. I went to drop off his cake 4 hours before our scheduled time and still they said yes I can bring it. I told them the cake needed to be set out right when we got there so it could reach room temp and they even wrote a note on the top of the box to make sure they did just that. The waiter wad the worst- he took 30 min to just get us waters and bread. HMy husband's steak was really rare and he didn't notice right away. When my husband brought it up the waiter argued with him saying they would take it off but he shouldhavesaid something earlier. We couldn't because we basically never saw the waiter. They didn't take out the cake as the note THEY put on it so it was frozen and the even broke the cake box. Worst of all even after calling all that confirmation about our candles, mid week, the waiter came in mid birthday song and said he's pretty sure they are illegal and the fire department would come if we didn't put them out. They were the shoot up sparkle candles that you see at other high ende restaurants. When I complained the manager just smiled and wrote me off. We paid $165 for terrible service. BE CAREFUL ABOUT GOING ON SPECIAL OCCASIONS!!

Tasha S.

Yelp
I love their lemonade their food is stellar and it's usually really clean. The only thing I would say is staff can sometimes forget you exist but they are really nice. I can't remember his name but the bartender with the dark brown hair usually works days is the one who makes the absolute best lemonade. I miss their salads and some items that Covid got rid of.

Jodi W.

Yelp
It was a Saturday afternoon around noon. Ordered the shrimp scampi, it came with 6 shrimp and maybe a 1/4 cup of linguini. I had 2 glasses of wine. The service was pretty terrible. Asked if I wanted 1 basket of bread. I said Yes. Once they delivered my $23.00 dollar lunch not one person checked back on me, to make sure my lunch was satisfactory. I had to flag down the young busser to ask for more bread. This is the second time in a month I have come into a McCormick and Schmidt in the last month. This was the first time I was disappointed with service and portion. When I spend over $50.00 on a single person for lunch I would expect better service and a nicer sized portions. Coming all the way to Tigard location for shopping and lunch it was a serious disappointment. As the recession looms the company may want to evaluate how they are going to get single people to come in and drop $54.00 not including tip on small portion size and subpar service. someone sitting at the bar alone may seem relaxed but they still would like the amenities that come along with eating out and not being ignored. Checking in every once in awhile. I had to flag down a bus boy and ask for bread because none was offered to me. Little things like eye contact could go a long way to making guests feel welcome and pampered. Food was flavorful, bread was warm and crisp, wine was nice. .

Yelp
Nice restaurant, service was great, Ty was our waitress, friendly and attentive, awesome personality. Ordered a shrimp cocktail and bacon wrapped shrimp for appetizers. Fish and chips and a wedge salad for entree, fish was crispy outside, tender inside, tartar sauce and malt vinegar was great accompaniment. Definitely would try again. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and you can sit in the bar area, main room or outside.

Yelp
Such a bummer! My fiancé and I were out shopping and stopped in for a drink and dinner. We should have turned around when we walked into an empty bar area at 6:00 on a Saturday night. After waiting about 10 minutes to order our drinks in an empty bar we got our grumpy server's attention. We decided to order dinner too so we weren't waiting the entire night. The food was super disappointing. I ordered a cheeseburger medium and got a hockey puck and cold cheese in between a bun. How do you screw up a cheeseburger that badly? I never send food back so I tried to chase the taste with the 6 French fries I got for a side (yes I counted). We asked to pay and the server just took the card mumbled something and that was it. The bread was the highlight of the dinner.

Yelp
Well, we went in this afternoon to grab a late lunch. There were three people sitting at the bar and one table that I could see occupied in the restaurant and no weight staff, or bartender to be found anywhere and I walked around the restaurant! I finally located a young man. This is after 10 minutes mind you of standing in an empty restaurant I could've robbed the place, asked if there were someone that could get us a table and he said "yeah let me go find someone" and then disappeared. Needless to say we left! Won't be back. Your food is not that great and your service absolutely sucks.

Yelp
We ate dinner on October 28, 2023 at 4 pm We made a reservation so the table was ready for us when we arrived. And we were seated with only about one minute wait. We were seated given menus, and our waiter showed up within the next 10 minutes to take our order. I had a question about an aged ribeye steak and was told our aged ribeye steak is the same as a ribeye steak well, we all know that's not the case , but I went ahead and ordered the ribeye as did my son and my daughter-in-law had the tuna. Both of my grandsons had macaroni and cheese for macaroni and cheese was a big hit and the kids loved it. My daughter-in-law really liked the tuna and my son and I did not enjoy our ribeyes. They were, tough chewy and flavorless our waiter was very busy and never made it back to the table to check on the quality of our dinner. We were served our plates were cleared. I brought my steak home to feed my dog. And then we had dessert for dessert. Menu was fantastic. I would not return to eat here.

Yelp
We had our family of six on Christmas Eve, we were unimpressed. the presentations were blah. just a piece of steak with a spoonful of mashed potatoes. nothing touching, no style, not pleasing. no creativity here in this kitchen and my dish was soooooo salty. I left a lot on my plate. It should have been more memorable especially when we spent over $500. Probably won't return. Service was just ok.

Yelp
I sat at the bar during happy hour on a Tuesday night. The bartender was super friendly and helped me narrow down what to eat since I was torn between a couple great sounding options on the menu. I landed on the Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps and a nice refreshing glass of white wine. The food was excellent, the service was great and the price was right! I will be back for sure!! Thanks for a great meal!

Yelp
The food was delicious, and we had an excellent waiter in the bar area. This was during happy hour and the bar was full; once the bar emptied we asked to sit at the bar and knew we had to cash out. The bar service was terrible we were treated like trash...asked for a food menu and didn't get one until 15 minutes later when others were seated. Fun fact we only had appetizers and were about to order entrees, including a dozen oysters...lost out on an additional $50 of business because your bar staff sucks. Won't be returning and I used to eat here 1-2 a month easy especially when wanting oysers, I'll find a better place to spend my money.

Yelp
It's been said that restaurant patrons fall into 3 groups, based on income level: Those who seek quantity, those who seek quality, and those who seek presentation. McCormick & Schmick's is definitely in the Presentation category. First the positives: * Not crowded on weekday evenings, easy to get a table. * Nice presentation for appetizer and main dish. * Bacon-wrapped prawns were delicious. * Nearby child and teens were well-behaved. Now the negatives: * Insufficient parking, even though the restaurant had few diners. * Parking spaces too narrow; difficult to get out of the car. * Limited menu. * Seating area was too cold. Wished we had brought sweaters, but who brings a sweater on a beautiful, late-August evening? * Long wait for food, especially since we were cold. * Had to ask server passing by for the bread we had requested. * The Iceberg Wedge wasn't a wedge, it was a few meager leaves of lettuce. Don't order it if you don't love Blue Cheese dressing. This disappointing salad offered neither quantity, quality or nice presentation. * Lobster Bisque - Ordered a bowl, got what looked like a cup. Presentation was good. Taste was good, except it was extremely salty. Couldn't decide whether to keep eating (tasted good, except too salty) or give up because of saltiness. * Did I mention seating area was cold? Glad to get back into our car and crank up the heat for the drive home. Summary: * Not intending to return, better choices elsewhere.

Yelp
I've been there twice this summer. The first time the service was just atrociously slow. Tonight they sat me in the small outdoor patio. Half the tables had not been cleared from prior guests. The bar tender took my drink order and never came back. Half hour later I just stood up and left.
