My husband and I wanted a nice dinner after attending a funeral and we didn't pick the right place. The service was the problem. I arrived first and requested an outdoor table for two. I was seated and was scanning the menu when I was then asked to move to the other side of the patio. I sat at this table for at least 15 minutes before anyone greeted me, served me water, bread, etc. I watched my waiter be very friendly with a table of 4 women and linger there while I was ignored. Finally, he came to see if I would like to order anything (of course I would - it was almost 9pm.) I ordered food for my husband and I (he was on his way) and then sat for another long while until the salad came with 2 glasses of water , but no silverware! This waiter need to be re-trained. Then, to make matters worse, my husband and I sat for 40 (!) minutes before our small portion of fish was served. We had lost our appetite by then.

Had a great time for my birthday...came early and were able to order happy hour specials! What a treat! Great margaritas and small plates appetizer s...loved it. Sever was great( sorry don't remember her name) . We had a round table , very private . It was the first time for myself as well as my friends... everyone had a great experience. Thank you.

The food's decent -- my steak was average to above average, and the sides of potatoes and flatbreads were decent. However, this place is a COMPLETE ripoff -- for a decent meal, be prepared to pay $35 and up, probably around $50 including tax and etc, for food that's just okay and nothing out of the ordinary. The atmosphere is decent, with the stuffed fish and Maine-style maritime theme going, but again, it's nothing special and feels like a chain restaurant. There are tons of places you can go and spend $50, or even half that, and get a meal that's much better and at a place with much more soul. Take your money elsewhere and have a better evening.

My family came in during happy hour and we were very pleased with the food and pricing. We ordered the seared scallops and the Hawaiian blue Marlin. Both dish are sumptuous. Very well balance and the sides complements the entree. Definitely satisfied.

I booked a private room for a party of 21 to celebrate my husband's birthday. Friends and family as well as myself traveled from all over to dine at the Skokie, Il location. Although the room was beautifully decorated and personalized menues were made our dining experience started to go down fast. First the food was horrible. The salad arrived warm and wilted, the crab legs were too salty with zero flavor, and the steaks were thick, tough, and useless. Everyone who ordered steaks left them Half eaten. The manager was very rude and actually embarrassed me in front of my guest. We had previously arranged with the general manager and Miranda to have separate checks but apparently the manger on duty knew nothing about our prior arrangement and refused to honor the request. He finally relented and it took him over 2 hrs to print checks. The restaurant closed while we were still there and by then everyone was quite irritable. We were over charged by $350 which I paid anyways. Needeless to say I left in tears due to the treatment I received and was humiliated. Had I known the food was sub par never would I have chosen this place. The drinks were late in arriving and water glasses were only filled once. I will never visit the place again and have every intention of contacting the corporate office. Don't waste your time here, not because of my experience, but because the food and service is lousy.

I had a very delicious lunch, everything was on par and cooked to perfection. The waiter was very professional in presentation and attitude. I would recommend and come back here many more times. I am a seasoned Diner from all over the United States... FYI

Terrible Mother's day service. No bread, water or knives for the table. Apathetic waiter was gone for 10-15 min at a time and they forgot our child's order. Never refilled water, drinks arrive one by one every 5min and they tried giving me and espresso that was just coffee dumped into a small cup, overflowing into the saucer. Won't be back.

Mother's Day was a disaster. Over an hour and a half for food and not what was ordered. Three tables got up and left without ever receiving food. Waiter disappeared to avoid any discussion and the manager never seemed to get things back on track. Will never return too many other options
