I hope the owner sees this. I want to thank them for the renovation. It’s so much better now! And hopefully you can track the grill chef who made my awesome Big Mac with extra sauce, in between the two burgers! 🍔 Extra attention to detail!

I’ve never been treated so terribly by any McDonald's: I ordered a 10-piece chicken nuggets meal with fries via the self-serve kiosk. At the counter, not only did they hand me a completely different item, but when I asked for the nuggets I’d actually paid for, they “refunded” me only to immediately charge my card a second time—forcing me to call my bank and formally dispute the second, unauthorized transaction. Instead of apologizing or correcting their mistake, the cashier snapped at me to “pay attention,” as though I’d somehow misread my own ticket.To make matters even worse, the same employee proceeded to hurl racial comments in my direction under her breath—an absolutely disgusting display that no customer should ever endure. This location is staffed by unprofessional, poorly trained employees and runs on a broken ordering system. I strongly advise everyone to steer clear.

Came by 8/10/25 at 4:30pm, listen I know it’s just McDonalds. The food was exactly as it should be. I work as a foodservice manager a few blocks away and I was on my lunch and thought I’d treat myself so I hopped on my bike with the sole reason of the walk up window, my plan was to walk up and pickup my mobile order so I wouldn’t get my bike stolen. I’m standing at the window for a significant amount of time making eye contact with five different employees until a girl walks close enough to use the soda machine where I say excuse me and she looks at me and points to come inside. I explained through the still closed window that I just have a mobile order and if she could hand it to me because I have my bicycle that would be super helpful and told her my order number. She and the other staff rolled their eyes at this and she then walked around the corner to grab it and handed it to me. I said thank you and there was no response other than another eye roll. Everyone has bad days but as someone who understands that foodservice isn’t everyone’s cup of tea a simple have a great day would’ve been the difference between me posting this and not. I hope to have a better experience next time.

Food came out fast and hot, and they keep the place clean. A bit sloppy making my filet-o-fish sandwich, with the cheese hanging half out the side of the bun. They don’t mix the Oreos into the McFlurry anymore, apparently you have to do that yourself. I know it’s cold out, but do they have to let the homeless malinger and stare inside?

Always love having lunch in McDonalds. The location is near my campus and the resto offers plenty discounts. I recommend you to order using the McDonalds Apps and you will grab a bang from your bucks. For example, I got the drinks, medium fries, & bacon burger for $7.5 (include tax) Plenty tables to sit and there is clean restroom

6/4/25 9-10PM They forgot my son’s fries with his order. We realized after we walked home so I returned to get them and walked with my dog. I went to the window because I had my dog and a young man looked at my receipt and went to get the fries. The young female manager intervened and told me I had to come inside. I went in and she proceeded to be in difficult, rude and unprofessional. I gave her the receipt number and she proceeded to look through orders on the screen and said she could not find it. I showed her the receipt on my phone and she still would not help me. I then told her she was being ridiculous and should just give me the fries. She told me she would if I first apologized for saying she was being ridiculous! Then she proceeded to call someone in her cell phone during which another staff member walked over and handed me the fries and apologized.

I went there after the Red Sox game and they closed off the seating area so I was stuck eating my food on the train after 30 minutes for my food. They didn’t even give me my drink or the sauce I wanted, very disappointing.

I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE. I was about to eat my Mc double and I wanted to throw up. There was a piece of mouse crap on my burger. This Mc Donald’s is so dirty and will never return again. Also the employees were rude and didn’t know how to ring me out. Trying to over charge me 10$ more.

Fine McDonald's place located at such an amazing location with some parking on the street temporarily so you can quickly go in and grab your orders. I like it because the coffee is within the affordable price range compared to star bucks and other hyped in the areas.

With my $16 meal, I asked for water, which I thought was the norm in any restaurant. They said they had bottled water for $3. I said I was ok with tap water or water from the fountain. They insisted that the only water they can give me is the plastic bottled. I don't understand, this is a violation of Massachusetts laws.

Waited an hour for one order of fries; they just sat on the shelf while they called new orders and added them up there. Never called old orders and were actively avoiding anyone asking for their orders.

The people who work here are great. With that being said , I'm not sure about the management decisions. Theres 4 tables. 3 of the four were occupied by the moped mafia (delivery )- set up camp, phones plugged in fed using which deliveries to take and leaving their vehicles double parked in kenmore - you know the ones.

Open late! We rolled in at 1am and the place was packed full of BU students. Half of them were drunk and loud, but hey it's the only thing around open this late. All the seating was closed off, so take out or delivery only for now. They were so busy that I think the app wasn't accepting orders. We were staying at the Hotel Commonwealth next door and I was hoping our food would be ready when we got there. Instead we had to wait for the last working kiosk to order and wait another twenty for the food. The crew working was hustling and they were fairly patient with the irate customers. Someone helped me lol through all the bags for delivery waiting for pick up. We got our Big Macs, which were consistent quality. What I loved were the shamrock shake and mcflurry. Lest we forget where in Irish town!

So I place an order on the mobile app and go to the store to pick it up. They are closed. It's 2 hours past their opening time and they are collecting orders on the app. A small group of us had gathered outside waiting for someone to address the situation but they never came. When they unlocked the doors I was frustrated and just wanted a refund. I asked for a manager and was told there were no managers there. I asked for a refund and a manager appeared out of thin air. They did not address me or even apologize but refused to give me my money back. I was told to contact my bank for a refund. I showed them the refund instructions from mobile app. It clearly states that I am to get the refund from the store the purchase was from. They then pretended to not speak English. They got another person on the phone who told me to go to my bank and ask for a refund. I left without a refund. They offered to make the food at least but at that point I didn't want any of them to make food I would eat. They assumed because I am white I wouldn't understand their conversation in Spanish. They were saying stuff I can't put on here. I recorded the interaction to share with McDonalds corporate.

An employee at this restaurant gave away food to random people who walked up to the counter THREE TIMES while I was there. One customer had to run after another to get his food back. And I was told that my food had already been served, and ended up getting nothing after an hour wait and $15 spent. I was in the restaurant the whole time, and the employee who had been handing out the food told me that my order had already been served and there was nothing I could do because he had announced it. This was impossible because I was there the whole time, and saw my number on the "preparing" side of the board before it disappeared. I was within 10 feet of the counter the entire time. The older white employee should be fired. If a person isn't there to pick up their order, don't just give it to a random person. That's pretty simple. People don't buy food and forget about it.

Dawg actually fuck this place. I ordered a meal "for here" and did not receive it within 20 minutes. I had to go up to the counter and ask for it, and the manager told me the payment had not gone through even through I saw the bag with the order number on it resting atop the fryer. The old man manager is not professional and does not check to see if the order number is the same for the person picking it up. Edit: I would like to add when I went to the counter to check on my order, that is when I saw my bag atop the fryer. Why was my order number not called out or brought to my table with the order number "tent"?

When you want fast food in the vicinity of Fenway Park, this is the goto place for a snack or a cold beverage. When we walked from the Beacon Hill Wyndham to Fenway Park I was getting thirsty. As I approached the famous Citgo sign to the right I saw the famous Golden Arches to the left. This spacious McDonald's was an appropriate place to sit in the air conditioning and shoot the breeze with my dad and brother. However I ended up shooting the breeze with a Yelper friend when I posted the front window picture of a McDonald's lobster roll. Say what? McDonald's sells lobster rolls! They sell it for $9 about half the price of an authentic lobster roll. We were a few blocks away from the Lansdowne Pub & Restaurant across from Cashman Field. There was no way that I was going to fill up on McDonald's when for a few more dollars I could chow down a real burger in a pub. As I stated in my Review of a Las Vegas McDonald's in the Winter of 2013, my opinion of McDonald's is that they are good for a snack and not much so for a meal. In this huge McDonald's I sauntered across the just mopped shiny floor to the large counter. If it was a cooler day I could of ordered a coffee drink from their McCafe. I ordered a Large Coke that was approximately $1 more than the usual $1 menu price. The cashier was pleasant just like the taste of drinking a large Coke after a couple of miles of urbab hiking on a humid Boston afternoon. After spending a good half hour in the closest McDonald's to Fenway Park, I was relaxed, refreshed, and ready to walk a couple of more blocks to enjoy a real pub hamburger for a few more dollars. If you are on a budget and want a well known fast food place for lunch, I would recommend it. Otherwise it is suitable for a quick and inexpensive snack or beverage. Who knows, this might be a McDonald's to enjoy a tasty lobster roll.

If I could give this restaurant a 0 star review, it would be more than it deserved. Being that it is right around the corner from Fenway, you would think that they would be on their -A- game. Uhh nooo.. The most disorganized and rude restaurant that I have ever been to. Not only did they forget my order and had to be reminded after waiting 30 minutes, they served day old fries and couldn't even manage to cook a burger correctly. **see picture for reference** If you value your life.. Starve until you can find something else.

Just bought 6 piece McNuggets and went to work. I found out later that I only got 4 piece. Please check if you food is correct before handing it to customers. We already order from the self kiosks. The staff should pay more attention on packing food.

Do yourselves a favor and do not go to this particular McDonald's. Even if you're hungry and/or craving fast food. You may be better off going to some other place to eat in the area. On the night of St Patrick's day, we saw a concert at Fenway Park. After it was over, we got a little hungry and decided to stop here since it was nearby. We ordered from one of the kiosks, and a receipt with our number did not print out like it should have. A few other kiosks seemed like they didn't work too well. If they didn't work, they need to fix those! Thankfully we remembered what we ordered. It took almost an hour for our order to arrive. The other customers were waiting a long time for their orders, too. The service was bad, and the employees acted like they didn't care about their jobs. After coming here and reading the reviews about this place, I'm surprised they are still in business. They should either close down this McDonald's or fire the employees and find better ones who can provide better service.

Yall better fire all ur employees cause they all suck, slow at preparing orders, most of them just talking amongst themselves while ONE person (who was not attentive at all) made the orders (very slowly by the way) while there were AT LEAST 10 people waiting for their food

Plugs in this place don't work when pointing out this info to the workers there they just stare at you and do nothing there's fruit flies flying around and people aren't aware of this the bathroom are always nasty and it looks like the floors weren't washed at all either management does something or the state comes in and does something No change just visited on 8-22-19 still has fruit flies and the outlets don't work and they are the slowest restaurant mcdonalds has in its fleet of restaurants i will be contacting the health board because of the fruit flies situation and now there's a pee smell in the vestibule as you walk in this review will go on other sites to make people aware especially the college students in that area well aware there eating around filthy flies that can lay eggs in there food (disgusting i know but as a former restaurant worker and current food delivery driver i don't want you the general public getting sick) i recommend contacting the health department in massachusetts

This used to be a great location. In recent months it's become worse and worse. Staff has become very unhelpful since order kiosks were installed; they always seem extremely irritated when you ask for anything, including help with getting mistakes corrected. There's been multiple instances, but recently my BF ordered a muffin as part of his meal, no muffin included, asked for help ("What do you want?" response) and was told they didn't have, then 10min later another staffer came over to say they were out of that muffin and what would be want as a replacement. Insult to injury is the XM radio at this restaurant? The subscription expired about two months ago, so dining here means listening to non-stop nagging commercials to re-activate the radio. This place used to be great. Now? Avoid at all costs.

The slowest McDonalds I have ever been to. I've tried ordering ahead, ordering on one of their kiosks, ordering via Uber Eats, and ordering the good old fashioned way - with a human being at a register. None off then have been a good experience. It's a busy location, but that shouldn't mean their service is terrible. Also, I've been in here while people are clearly overdosing in the bathroom. It was really ugly. Basically - not worth it.

The employees are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a very nice clean atmosphere with soft music playing in the background. I really love my southern style tea which they make perfectly. My cheeseburger was nicely accented by a large fry. This is a great McDonald's to visit if you are near Fenway Park across from Kenmore Station.

Subpar McDonalds. One time, my McGriddle egg tasted like some plastic had been cooked into it. This morning, I asked the lady if they had cups for water, and she instantly tried to sell me a bottle of water (making NO MENTION of the free water cups that they DO have). Since I didn't know I had the option for a water cup, I paid for a soda cup and found out that there's no water at the soda fountain. Whoopie...at least I had an excuse to drink diet coke with my breakfast. Also, when my BF went to the bathroom he said some guy came in and threw up. Also some guy was taking a nap in his chair and the lady tried to kick him out to no avail. It just kinda annoys me...I get that it's a McDonalds but things could be better. I'll probably still go back because there aren't a lot of things I won't do for a McGriddle, but I'd like to see some improvements.

I respect the way they get things done. Easy in & out process took little to no stress. The usual problem w any macdo is you never know how the duration of your time can proceed; although I couldn't imagine any minutes further the length of 2 songs on my beats pro headphones (not a sponsor). Regardless, 4/5 stars simply cuz I had to walk a min to get there. I'll b back

This place sucks. They obviously don't understand English or Spanish. First of all I gave my order in Spanish. Second of all how the hell you gotta pay for fries separate from the meals that is some bs. I would not recommend anyone to go to this McDonald's they just steal your money. Plus they also give you whatever they Want to give. I ended up with the wrong burger as well.

Everyone here is nice enough but I've had such a lackluster and many frustrating experiences here that the only reason I come back it because it's the only McDonald's close to my job and McDonald's iced coffee is the only iced coffee that I like. Ugh. I grudgingly come here but this place sucks for lack of a better word.

Compared to other McDonald's I've been to, this one is kind of small. The seating is kind of weird - the chairs and tables seem kind of old, and there isn't much in the terms of cleanliness. The garbage can was way overflowing. Staff was pretty disinterested, but this is to be expected from a McDonalds. It probably seems ridiculous to be reviewing a McDonald's, but I do believe that some of them are nicer than others, and it's something worth noting. This particular McD's just looked so stark - the seating was arranged in a weird, long room behind the counter. It doesn't look like the staff cleans the tables between customers. Food quality is the same as you would expect.

This McDonald's SUCKS. Have waited 30 minutes for 1 double cheeseburger twice recently. I don't know why I keep going back to this hellhole. The place is ALWAYS filthy. Trash bins overflowing to the point where people just throw their garbage on the floor, leave it on the table, whatever. No management in sight. No one gives a SHIT here. All I wanted was a quick bite of shitty McDonald's food. If I hadn't already paid for it I would've left at the 10 minute mark at best. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. Unless you like waiting 30-45 minutes in a disgusting, depressing environment surrounded by irate people for less than mediocre fast food, just go hungry. Everytime I go here I regret it. Just unbelievably bad

System was down on a Friday afternoon, and none of the employees communicated that upfront, nor did they try to resolve any order issues for the first 20 minutes, which resulted in a horde of angry Ubereats drivers and confused customers. I had placed an order for pickup via the McDonald's app and couldn't even cancel due to the nature of the app. I was then blatantly ignored for over an hour despite attempting to communicate with 6 different employees (especially one called Cesar who was extremely rude and pretended to not see or hear me). Another female employee went around and jotted down everyone else's order except for mine to be remade and walked away from my boyfriend multiple times when he tried to approach her for assistance. It wasn't until my bf demanded a refund that one of the employees (I think his name is Jay) actually tried to remediate the issue and find our order in the system and located our food, which were sitting in 2 bags in the kitchen this whole time. I understand that system failures are frustrating for everyone, especially the team, but the way the team handled this operational inefficiency with such unprofessionalism was really upsetting. Would not recommend this location due to the rude staff.

Reviews for the McDonalds in Kenmore, oh lawd. What can you really say? There's hobos hanging around outside all over, and it's McDonalds. Its exactly what you'd expect...actually no, the service here is actually pretty speedy. Plus they have those automated ordering boards, so you don't even have to interact with other humans if you don't feel like it (and who does at McDonalds anyway? They know that, hence the automated ordering board thing). You know what, this place is actually pretty good, especially compared to that trainwreck Qdoba next door. Five stars!

The worst McDonalds I have EVER experienced. They consistently forget to give straws and sauce packets. I've ordered delivery from them MULTIPLE times and I've not had straws drink or sauce to dip the nuggets. In addition, the food is almost always been sitting out before being served. The fries are always soft and the McNuggets have an almost soft and chewy skin. Its nowhere near the semi decent fast food quality I expect. A huge disappointment and it seems obvious the employees just do not care. Would give a 0/5

The worst service ever. The staff was dancing, chatting, and using inaaprioate language while many guest waited. I got so frustrated, after waiting 20 minutes for my order I left hungry instead. I ordered for pickup in the McDonald's app and paid. When you get to the store you can show them the code or check in while using the app. The app was saying the store was closed so I couldn't check in and the store couldn't find my code. So the manager handled it and got my order ready. Very kind staff. Thanks again.

A convenient McDonald's in the fenway area for cheap food cravings. It's a Mcdonald's. You know what to expect when you go into one. There is a decent amount of seating and there is a bathroom in the back which is nice. This place is usually busy being in such a prime location but they fulfill orders quickly unless you are ordering one of their specialties that differs a lot. The people working here are tired, but I have always gotten good service and they have tons of promotions. They have 6 automated kiosks which makes ordering pretty simple. I come here all the time and haven't had a bad experience yet! Just a warning their sweet tea is reallllllly sweet!

The mandatory screen ordering system is terrible. The screen is dirty, the interface clumsy and slow. I had to search to find fries and a coke, they are in totally different parts of the menu. This system saves the staff time but takes the customer longer and guess what! Service is very slow. So what are the staff doing with all that extra time? What a mess. I miss ordering and just waiting. One star for a much slower, non customer centric experience.

I moved to Kenmore about two weeks ago. I've been to this McDonalds three times. I will not return. Slow service. Like 20 mins to get your order. Complete chaos. Dirty. Major health code violations and fire hazards. The block bathrooms and entrances and exits when it gets too busy because they are so incompetent they can't deal with crowds. Crowds that build up because the place is mismanaged and a complete mess.

This chain recently went through a major renovation so the interior is very new and nice. Definitely worth the visit if you want to stuff your face with fast food. I highly recommend getting McDonald's app on your device because they have really awesome coupons.

I kept forgetting to order things for my friends and I kept coming back and forth, but they were really friendly about it and even let me keep my drink (even though I made a mistake). So thumbs up for having a super nice and excited team (even if it's just McDonalds).

This McDonald's, which always seems to have renovations happening to it or next to it, is right next to the Kenmore T-Station on the Green Line. If you're looking for a cheaper, quick, equally as nutritious meal before heading over to the game at Fenway, you're familiar with this McDonald's. The prices are a little higher here and they've been known to be stingy with the sauces. The good part about this McDonald's is that it's much bigger than it looks, making it a decent place to hit if you have a big group that is fiending for some greasy goodness. However, there are always a lot of homeless people around this McDonald's and it's very tough to say that you have no change when they just saw you pay with cash at the counter. I suppose it comes with the territory, but the management is pretty good about keeping it decent in there. Like any McDonald's, these guys are VERY serious about having no photography done of the counter area. I have a very vivid memory of a manager chasing a photographer out of the restaurant who came in and took a picture of the menu. They're real serious about this here, so Yelpers, beware! However, at the end of the day, it's a McDonald's. It has a great location that is a nice oasis on a wicked hot day or a frickin' cold day.

Update 6/3/2016: They're open again! ---- Love McDonald's. But this one is a bit under par. Sometimes the fries taste old and aren't at a good temperature. Same with the burgers, I had my worst experience with a Big Mac here. Being a McDonald's though it is more about the convenience and familiarity and it is in a great location and have food when I need it once in a while. It does have a lot of seating and the staff are friendly. Soda fountain tastes A-OK to me.

Eating at this McDonald's is sorta like going back in time to the 80's. Not because this particular establishment hasn't changed since the 80's. Back then it was much darker and dingier. No, it's arguably worse than that. At this McDonald's, you might get your food maybe 15 seconds after you order it. Why on earth is that bad? Because modern McDonald'ses actually put your food together on the spot, and that can't be done in 15 seconds. It shows. The burgers are heat-lamped and dry and disappointing. There is no dollar menu. You're paying more for a decidedly sub-optimal McExperience. While i still visit from time to time, it never quite sates my need for delicious McDonaldsness.

Awesome restaurant great service and great food the food is always fresh and the service is always helpful and the employees don't talk a lot to other workers and that's a good thing because there always attentive to the customers and food and the bathroom is always clean thanks to Jose the cleaner and the workers are always awesome and fast
