Today was a nightmare experience at the McDonalds on 5022 N. Harlem. I went early morning to order three breakfast platters. Went I arrived to my home, I realized the biscuits and the hashbrowns were missing. All three missing. I checked every bag given to me. I went back with the receipt and the manager, older lady wearing a Hijab was insanely rude. She told me that she could not help me because I needed to show her the food. She kept saying, where is your food, where is the food. I said mam, All I need is the hashbrowns, I did not even care about the biscuits, just 3 hashbrowns. She literally had me return to my house which is 11 minutes aways and bring the entire order. Yes, the entire order. I brought the 3 drinks, straws, condiments, 100% every item.
Then she has the audacity to say, my employee says she gave you the order. I said, do you think I want to drive back and forth for 3 hash browns. Seriously?! I said, listen I have 3 Masters Degree, 2 Bachelor's degree. I am taking my relatives to the airport and wanted them to eat before their flight. She then says, well mam I will give you the refund because I am not giving you another breakfast. I said, oh yes you are, you made me go back and get the entire order, now the breakfast is cold, I am not reheating this food. You made me go back because you said you will redo my order, please there are cameras in this restaurant, you said, "I will redo your order."
She was nasty, rude, cruel. Simply cruel. And apparently looking at other reviews, I am not the only customer complaining about this rude lady. Then she is scolding her employees to check the orders. She needs to check her attitude.
Oh and by the way, do not use their bathroom. I hope the city and sanitation visits this location soon, because you could see mouse droppings between the wall and floor. No I did not eat the food. I picked up food from Family on Harlem. Clean and super nice people.
