Heinz Taunts Chicago Hot Dog Stands With Another Clever Ketchup Stunt | Eater Chicago

"I noted that the Sun-Times surmises the McDonald’s at Navy Pier— which last year broke ties with Heinz after four decades—was one of the venues targeted by the campaign, making it an obvious example of a fast-food location tied up in the stunt." - Ashok Selvam

Newer looking store, but extremely long wait. Took 10 min for just a cup of iced coffee Staff was not friendly. Seemed annoyed I asked for a cup or ice Defiantly no Chic Fil A! McDonald’s service and all the little details have gone down the drain the last 30 years compared to chic fil a. Iced coffee tasted fine, but not worth the wait

Perfectly ensconced inside indoor dining at Navy Pier. Open seating in the entire food mall and warm and has recycling bins and trash and bathrooms. Comfortable and easy to enjoy time while eating food at McDonalds. Prices here are a bit higher than other non touristy areas but you can still use your app deals so you can still get a good meal. Charging stations are free here.

While visiting Navy Pier to do the Centennial Wheel, I stopped by McDonald’s for a quick snack before going somewhere for dinner. My order was placed at 8:18pm on a Saturday evening. It was PACKED AND COMPLETE CHAOS! The pick up screen wasn’t working either. The pick up area was just a mad house of people standing there with no order. There is staff behind the counter calling our numbers. You have to be somewhat close to hear. They seriously need a more structured method, especially in such a high traffic area. At 8:21pm, I got notification my order was ready but I didn’t hear it be called. I went to the counter around 8:25 and my order was there. The nuggets were fine for McDonald’s. I paired it was bbq sauce and it calmed by hunger until I made it to the next place.

Price are double what a normal McDonald's is. Plus no refills. Bought a 10 piece, 6 piece, and a quarter pounder. $41.and it was only medium size on all of them.

Tourist in Chicago for the fireworks show. Very hot and Starbucks was closed. Ordered iced tea, and they didn't have ice. Very strange. I wouldn't have ordered there if I knew they were out of ice. Oh well looks like they already don't have good reviews and must not need them.

Just ok McDonald's. The cashier was rude and needs to speak up when talking to customers. She said did you order on the McDonald's app. Not everyone has the app. The restaurant was busy and service was slow and burgers were cold. I might return. There are other choices for restaurants at Navy Pier.

Didn't even have to wait 5 min for my order my daughter had her first chicken nugget here. Would have been better experience if they had sprite. Apparently they were out in both fountain machines.

Prices are more expensive for no reason, and they don’t do refills on soda. The refill is baked into the price of the drink, so if you aren’t offering refills, then the price should be cheaper. There’s genuinely so much better places to eat inside the Pier for nearly the same cost or slightly more.
