Order #323 placed and paid for 1006pm, received at 1025pm. 4 people ordered and paid for their food after me and received their order before me. The fish meal was okay, fries okay. The drink was much better than the food. The cashier thought he was a comedian, telling the security lady I told him I didn't want my mocha drink, this silliness only delayed my order further. It was nonsense.

I understand New Year’s eve in Downtown Dallas is a tough task, and I feel for all the workers who were trying to get food to customers quick. The low rating comes from the low skilled so called security guard who worked last night, his name “e owens”. For a security guard he was paying more attention to his phone than the people he’s paid to be watching! He was rude to people in line and got physical to the point of pushing them, PREGNANT WOMEN IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT WERE PUSHED AND ASSAULTED BY THIS MAN. The lack of professionalism was astounding, I wouldn’t trust this guy to watch rice cook. Do better!

Count your days mcdonalds! I paid to have bacon added to my fish filet and you put tomatoes! 2 dollars for something I didnt even receive! Worst experience ever! Who ever you are you need to be fired! If I were allergic to tomatoes you my friend would be talking to my lawyer! I'm so glad I checked my food before I took a bite!

This was my first time visiting Dallas as a tourist, staying at a hotel in the heart of downtown, and I expected to feel safe in such a central, well‑known area. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling uneasy and concerned for our safety. The situation felt chaotic, unsafe, and intimidating — especially for families with young children. My child was frightened, and I was genuinely concerned for our well‑being. While I understand homelessness is a complex social issue, it is the responsibility of the store management to ensure a safe and welcoming dining environment for all paying customers. I strongly urge McDonald’s management to take immediate steps to improve security and the overall customer experience at this location. This could include: • Increasing the presence of trained security personnel during evening hours. • Coordinating with local authorities to reduce unsafe loitering in and around the restaurant. • Implementing clear policies to ensure customer safety and comfort inside the dining area. McDonald’s is a globally recognized brand, and I believe most customers — especially families — expect a safe, clean, and friendly environment when they choose to dine here. I hope the management addresses this issue promptly so this location can become a place where customers feel comfortable bringing their children, even during later hours. Stopped by the drive-thru for desserts and ice cream. Order was correct and the treats were good. That said, the area around the parking lot had a lot of activity with unhoused individuals. I understand this isn’t the restaurant’s fault, but it did affect the overall experience, and we’ll likely choose a different location next time. I hope site management and local services can address the surroundings so the great drive-thru service can really shine.

Let's start off with the atmosphere, it's Dallas, TX, therefore it's automatically 1 star. Especially since it's downtown. The food is terrible. They never make it fresh. The fries always suck. The burgers are always old. The food is almost always cold. Or all of the above.

I ordered at this location yesterday. I got an online order. I ordered a Double Quarter Pounder with fries and nuggets. When I got my food it was cold undercooked and the soda the coke flavor the taste was off. Not only that the next day Im throwing up, using the bathroom. Found out I have food poisoning and the taste overall wasn't good the whole order from the Burger to the fries and nuggets. My overall experience was not good and definitely if I'm ever in town will not come here. I'm traveling from Georgia to California and I have to sit on the bus and deal with food poisoning. I definitely would like my money or something to compensate my experience. Who do I talk to??

It was quiet here on Black Friday. Nice to try the US breakfast menu. Pictures posted of the food. The McGriddle made with pancakes was pleasant. Plenty of seats here and service for the food was fast but they were slow to serve the orange juice

I love the "Golden Arches" classic design of this McDonald's. The parking lot was clean but inside a couple of tables needed cleaning as well as the soda/condiment section. Both ketchup dispensers were empty. Burger (I was hungry!) was assembled properly and still hot. My bottle of water was nice and cold. I have been to better McDonald's in my travels. raw meat.. service is slow.. and the store is built different.. I went to go get McDonalds one day because I was hungry. I ended up getting a raw meat hamburger, (What da fuck) and I saw roaches everywhere. Disgusting

I was forced to leave without my meal by the security guard since I was eating my breakfast off the table top. The packaging had broke apart spilling all the food items everywhere.

So this is a very slow McDonald's. Like super slow My order was incorrect but I didnt notice until I got home. There is also a very large amount of homeless people on the property. I sadly do not recommend this location

I ended up getting a raw meat burger it had maggots and smelled like blood and ill never go here again

I don't know why they went to the bathroom to get the lemonade but 5 stars. and I am not sure why my big Mac was small but it was pretty good, my kids liked it, but they did have diarrhea for a few hours.

I loved this place my favorite fast food reaturaunt ever and this one was no different. The burgers were perfect the service was amazing and I loved the feel of getting out of the suburbs and intonthe city. I loved it and would rate 5 stars every day of the week. All the bad reviews kill the vibe so yes 5/5 10/10 sue me.

When I walked in, and I knew something was wrong. I saw that all the workers had been replace by Grimace. I started to notice that my food was actually great value and was STILL FROZEN. Then in the middle of my meal i looked over and saw ALL THE WORKERS WEARING KKK HOODS! They told me, "Go back to KFC you melon muncher!!!". My kids were there.... But then they disappeared and I realized that I was in Ohio so never mind. The place gave off a white van ambiance.

This location opens whenever they want to, despite the hours of operation being posted online. I recommend not going here it is substandard with staff that basically does whatever they want to do.

Wow TRASH! Had not eaten at a McDonald's in a few years. Probably this will be my last time forever. Ordered through the app picked up through drive-thru. Tickets on the bag shows right order, food in the bag is wrong order. Did not feel like going back since I was already at home so I decided to just eat with they gave me. ABSOLUTE HORSE TRASH! VERY OLD VERY DISGUSTING. WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A BACON QUARTER POUNDER, INSTEAD JUST A REGULAR HAMBURGER? Tasted like it was a few hours old at least! Could not even finish half the burger before I threw it away. The fries were definitely ancient as well, while they were slightly warm they were super stale. Is absolutely no surprise to me that this place is going downhill super fast. Thankfully I only paid about $5 for this horrible horrible meal, because if I had paid any more I would be absolutely pissed. This will be my last trip to a McDonald's probably forever. Please stop giving these places business until they start actually carrying about their product and their customers.

I hate leaving bad reviews but it just threw me off that when I asked for an extra buffalo sauce at the window the lady told me I had to get back into the line after waiting for like 10 minutes and repeating my order 5 times. I don't know if she got high from being rude but that was straight up obnoxious.

I've been to McDonald's in Georgia, Virginia, Houston and Austin Texas, as well as California, and Oklahoma...cities and small towns all seem to have at least one. This McDonald's is one of the worst ones I've ever been to. There's always more than two homeless walking or laying down on the premises. They will ask you for your money of course or ask for you to feed them while you're trying to place your order. Then they will complain to you if you don't. They will even come right up to your window while you're trying to pay. The people at the drive-through, depends on who you get, will not greet you when you pull up. At all. Someone pulled up next to me and went ahead too and when I asked why they went up first when I was WAITING FOR SEVERAL MINUTES, he said they didn't say anything to each other and that, the other car just drove around....So you're saying that we can just skip the menu part now? All I know is, I was there for several minutes and this other car was there, for not long, and went ahead of me. Seemed like they spoke. Anyway... They will give you old food too whenever they can...way more often than fresh for sure and passed time limit expiration is most likely. They lazy, the work they do is not important to the employees. Please hire someone competent, empathetic, and intelligent enough to have a healthy sense of urgency and focus. The only thing that keeps me coming back is that its 24/7 and I visit my family who live SUPER close here FOR NOW. Finally moving up north. I know not to expect greatness at any McDonald's... however, I've had great experiences at many in the past. They have been consistent with getting my stuff right, greeting me, and making my stuff at least seem fresh. Old hard microwaved cookies? No. Fries that have been sitting? No. A sloppy made mc double, with hard corners on the cheese from sitting too long? Nooo...Oh and a reciept that you can't read. But I contacted corporate anyway using the store number about all of this, even though they limit my words. I first talked to the employee at fault of course....but with no care in the world, no concern, no apology...that means it will keep happening. So here I am. Fair warning. Go and have the uncomfortable experience that I had that will surely make you lose your appetite/ and get on that last nerve too!

Worst service ever, and lets not talk about costumer service. After waiting for over 30 min still the guy who is in the front providing the orders, did not even pay attention to me any of the times I asked about my order.

Just a wee bit on the crap side. Daughter and I busy with a late videography project downtown; the classic golden arches promised so much but delivered so little. It seems like nobody goes here for any other reason than "resorting to" because it's an island alone. If a single competitor was able to be magically squeezed in nearby, this hole would close in a heartbeat. In our case the food was okay and the counter service was okay, but I've seen cleaner storm drains than this lobby and more upscale crowds kicked out of head shops. Come on guys, try harder. For real. Next time we'll just pack a bag of chips with us.

I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit. My biscuit only had egg on it. They also gave me the wrong change. Twice.

The Hampton Road Dallas, TX McDonalds store is prejudiced against white people..the last 3 times I came into this store for service the clerk waited on the black and mexican customers ahead of me and then when it was my turn she just walked away..this has happened the ast 3 times I came into this store..it just happened again today May 10, 2022 at about 1:30 PM again..I waided an additional 15 minutes and she never came back and waited on me at all..as a result I just left....your store sucks as well as its employees..I work at GAF right up the street from this store and most of the guys I work with already quit coming there because of the way they are treated.. This location is very busy. If you're in a rush, I suggest you go somewhere else. Customer service is subpar. . .nothing really over the top. Our food came out hot though. That's always a plus. This location also has limited parking. I assume it's because everything is pretty much within walking distance. We were lucky to actually get one. If you miss the entrance, be prepared to circle the block to try again.

If I could give this McDonald a negative number for a rating I would. Matter of fact, I will. This location deserves a negative -5 stars. I love me some Mac-coffee, but this location, coffee is weak/watery and the service is subpar. Displaced guys hang around the drive thru begging for money. One was at the intercom and another one was at the pick up window. Upon taking the weak coffee back to the location, the security guard accused me of adding water which made it weak/water. I was like WTF. Never again to this location. New ownership/management is recommended. Check the previous reviews/ratings.

There were 15 people waiting outside to get in to order.. and the doors were locked. The lobby opens at 6am. And it's 6:25am. There were workers standing around everywhere. And no one would unlock the door. I had to go around to the window just to let the workers know. And the lady at the window said they were open and she wouldn't let me order in the drivethru .. it's 6:20am and she said that the lobby was open. I told her the doors were locked. Two workers walked outside and said that we couldn't come in yet. Not cool; what going on McDonald's. You were turning away 15 people that were hungry and ready to order.... also. The guy that was wearing a security black T-shirt just told me that "I just got done cleaning the floor and that I need to watch myself and not make a mess" ARE YOU FOR REAL DUDE. I'm in the service industry and I cannot believe the way I've been treated at this establishment. I WILL NEVER COME BACK. Ever. This is complete madness.

Understaffed. Waited 15 minutes for a mcgriddle and a hash brown. They were unable to "make" me a water. Many people waited longer. Mcgriddle bread was actually overcooked and hard. A first in my life. Worst Mcdonalds I have ever been to.

Normally I would think it is ridiculous to review or expect anything out of a McDonald's.. I mean come on.. it's McDonald's and you get what you pay for. I'm only making an exception to review this one mainly based on safety because they have done absolutely nothing about the homeless problem at this location. There are homeless people constantly screaming and having arguments with themselves or crying and looking drugged out/ begging for money- despite the fact they have a security guard there in bulletproof vest. TERRIBLE. We are from Utah where literally EVERYONE was rude & this was some of the worst customer service I've ever had. The female with short hair and awful sharpie block eyebrows was extremely rude, short changed my mother, and proceeded to tell us we couldn't have a cup for water after we purchased 4 meals, which, last time I checked, by law they can give us a cup either for free or a few cents for the cup. So im walking in all studius looking for a great dons meal after my 2 hour car ride. I order condiments with my food and I end up getting 2 fucking cups of sauce. Mind you we had three teenage boys who are always hungry. So giving us 2 fucking sauces was not gonna fly. Now let me tell you, when I went up to the counter I was ignored by the first lady. She looked like a boy scout with all the pins on her hat. She looks like she was ready to go to McWar with me. She looks like she went to every dons in the state and got a pin. Second we got ansered by some absoulute AI i mean bro was basically plugged into the ice cream machine and maybe thats why I didnt get my fucking grimish shake. Which im also pissed about. But we wont get into that. But this guy when he came up too us and said "im only allowed to give you 2 sauces and would have to charge for more". I just about mcflipped my shit. mcdonalds at 100 commerce street is the worst unsanitary and unsafe place to eat at. the employee's are rude and not properly trained. this is a hang out for homeless people. the floors in lobby nasty.the restrooms and behind the counters. mya the manager rude and talk on the phone on duty and does not wear her name tag. the security guard cedrick sexually harassed me and i was discriminated and retaliated on by these employees. corporate ,the owner organization and regional has been informed but no one has contacted me very unprofessional its been a month today still mno contact.

Don't ever expect this store to open on time. Been going here for several months now and like clockwork the system is down first thing in the morning. It's down for 10 min but that was 20 min ago. On top of all that, the homeless in the area make this place sketchy.

I would not say this place is the first circle of hell. But perhaps the second. If you enjoy long lines, beggars, and random fights and/or screaming or yelling...this is your place. There are two Latino women that work most mornings that are wonderful people. I feel sorry for them because it is obvious they are perpetually short-staffed. Those two ladies wind up doing the work of three people! Will I return. Yes, unfortunately. Due to the fact that the West End location is worse and there are few to no other options early in downtown.

VERY ROUGH CLIENTELE AND DEPENDING IN TIME OF DAY, NOT THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE. This McD near the greyhound station is rough, and is clearly not the safest place to go at night in downtown Dallas. BUT -- it is nicely renovated, reasonably clean, and management is vigilant to keep the roughest of the rough and the hardest-core homeless folks away. I remember when this McD was overrun by drug dealers, prostitutes, and homeless. It was a truly terrifying place for even intrepid and experienced city dwellers. No more, because the word is out to that element. But is it a McD I would patronize usually? No. We're here today because I blew up some symptoms of heat exhaustion while geocaching. McD has air conditioning, ice, Powerade, salty French fries, and free wifi in case we have to be here a while as I recover. 5 stars for all that. 3 stars for service, and basic dining room cleanliness. It's no better or no worse than your average McD anywhere else now. But I just can't recommend that folks come here because the folks who hang out here are so rough. If it had not been 3pm on a Sunday and I needed Powerade and AC pretty urgently, we would not have stopped at all. We spent our time here subtly watching the folks who came and went, and keeping our electronics close. 2 stars overall.

I came to this McDonald's to have lunch while i waited to pick up my passport next door and one of the workers was very unprofessional. I was taking a Snapchat for my friend while and he snuck in my picture behind me without me even knowing. Later he came up to me and started flirting with me. It made me SUPER uncomfortable and forced me to take a picture of us for the friend I was sending a Snapchat to. I felt very unsafe here and I won't be coming back to this McDonald's again next time I'm in downtown.

Anyone who has been familiar with downtown Dallas long enough remembers the red-roofed white monstrosity that used to be the McDonald's that was build in the 1970's. Trying to order food without generally fearing for the safety of your life was impossible as the place was infested with some most unsavory characters. In 2001, the lot the building sat on was demolished completely and build anew from the slab up in a retro 1950's design. Dallas landscapes and 50's musical greats were hand painted on the walls, and an old school jukebox played great oldies music. It was safe to eat at McDonald's again. A security guard is posted on premise at all times, and I feel safe going in to eat anytime day or night. In keeping with the urban lifestyle, there is a walk-up window in addition to the drive-thru that are are both open 24 hours. The food? It's McDonald's. Still, I cannot recall an order that I have had to send back for any reason, which is more than I can say about most other McDonald's locations. The fries are always hot, and my custom orders are always fulfilled. This location does what McDonald's does and does it well, 24 hours a day. Whether you visit the divey bars like City Tavern and Ten or the bottle service bars like Dolce and Plush, you can rest assured you can count on satisfying your late night food cravings after closing time at this downtown McDonald's.
