From my experience with working in the fast food industry, I can understand on a physical and emotional level of how intense an evening rush can be.
This is what was initially going through my mind as we, my friend and I, had pulled up to the drive thru speaker to place an order. After about 3 minutes of waiting, we began to question whether or not the drive thru speaker we chose was working; the other was in constant motion and the line was growing.
Finally, they answered with "What can I get for you?"
"Do you still sell the strawberry lemonades?" my friend questioned.
"Uhhh, what?" was the abrupt reply.
To make a long story short, they did not sell strawberry lemonade; though they told us they did up until we had reached the first window.
What I can only advise is to have patience with these workers. Without it, your impatience will be the only thing inhibiting a relationship between you and your fast food.
