Ordered thru the app. A steak egg and chz bagel meal and a bacon egg and chz McGriddle meal both with caramel macchiatos (the whole point for going). We r at the 2nd window waiting for food when we r told they dont have macchiatos and we r offered frappes…. It’s winter in Michigan but fine. My McGriddle ended up being sausage and the bagel was burnt beyond edible. Womp womp. They were packed tho

I love a good burger and the 1/4 pounder deluxe never disappoints. BUT... the service at this location is terrible. Slow is an understatement. This location cooks 1/4 pound deluxe to order, which is fine. Except that I waited and waited as I watched several 1/4 PD's go out to drive through while I waited inside for mine. After a while I informed the manager that the woman next to me And I have been waiting exceptionally long while they've been running burgers out to people that were bothered WAY after we ordered. I explained that the woman next to me was before me and that she gets the next QPD and then I get the next after that. The manager then went and gor my order, handed it to me and I again said that she was first and her order should've been handled before mine. The manager said that she hasn't complained and I did so she got my order first. I gave my order to the woman and told the manager to go get mine. She was not happy, but complied. All in all it took 50 minutes for me to get my order. I will not return to thia location and I suggest that if you so visit thia location, make sure you have a lot of extra time.

So rude, the worker giving us our food was nice and clearly fed up with the manager, they first told us none of their water was free which I needed some for my parched service dog. So we ordered a large, only to get to the window to be told the medium and small waters are free?? Then we also clearly asked for s'more's mcflurrys and they rang us up for oreo ones, then refused to remake it an added icecream and toppings on top. not going back. didnt even blend it..??

AGAIN, no receipt paper at the kiosk, so you better be quick to learn of your order number because it flashed on the. They were behind in getting customers their drinks...DRINKS. Ordered the fish for the first time in years. It had only a whisper of tartar sauce so it was relatively dry. Even the staff seemed to be outstanding, everything was extremely slow.

The morning crew shift never disappoints. That evening shift with Ms Pat as the manager is sad. Ms Pat lacks the skills to be a manager. She needs to be told what to do. She’s ok with putting out cold food and will give you more old cold food. There’s a guy with tattoos drawn all over his face with the worse customer service. Says he’s not going to do his job right because Ms Pat isn’t doing hers. What kind of leader is she. The owners need to let her go. There are plenty of people who work there that are more qualified to lead and manage.

I really like this particular location... My Baby girl now a young lady has been going here since she was 5 now 17 in college and yet she comes home on some occasions and guess where we go..lol.. I love that this place hires our children and managers are Mothers and Fathers and aunts and uncles sisters and brothers it's a great family place.. so as long as the doors open we will be there. Thanks staff.

I have to give them a five star today... Sariah was my server and honestly she was very professional punctual and most importantly polite. The food was made fresh. Normally the receptionist is extremely rude but today's visit that issue was corrected. I'll be back

i get curbside pick up almost every morning and it's usually this same kind lady who comes to give me my food every day with no problem. today this different woman comes to my car with only 1 of my drinks and tells me i have to come in to get the rest?? i order curbside so i don't have to go in that's the whole point?? they are slow with food anyways so

On the 17th of October I went in there and ordered a big breakfast without the hotcakes. I guess that they had to learn how to make the breakfast without the hotcakes because you simply can't order it without the hotcakes, and their minds did not know how to make a big breakfast with just the egg, biscuit, sausage and hashbrown. So after waiting for almost 5 minutes I asked for my money back and they gave it to me....so that order is not able to be made there I guess huh. To much work on the gray matter up stairs. Robert S

Simple guidelines. On spicy McChicken's, no lettuce. There is a problem every time I use the drive-thru. All of your belongings are carelessly thrown into one bag, which rips as soon as you pick it up.

10 minutes after consuming food ordered from this McDonald's, I had some intense diarrhea that lasted about a hour...will never go back. Food ordered: Chicken nuggets McDouble McRib Coke I know it had to be the food from this place as it was the only thing I have eaten all day.

COMPLETELY INEPT I'm not sure if they're in there raising and slaughtering the cows themselves, but it should not take a whole half hour from ordering 2 meals in the drive through to getting your food. They seem to have difficulties keeping track of what you ordered between ordering it and paying for it, and then again between paying for it and receiving it. All of the staff we interacted with were pleasant enough, but wow are they having a hard time getting it done.

Listen... do not come here! The most rude disrespectful group of women I have ever encountered. Asked for a fresh fry at the SPEAKER! Got to the window, wasn't fresh, so I re-asked. I come to this location a lot! The service isn't all that great ever but it's in my area. Today they hit a new low though. Ordered 2 DRINKS! DRINKS no food! ONLY DRINKS! Why am I waiting 15 minutes at the Thank You sign FOR DRINKS! Utterly ridiculous.

I hadn't had dinner the night before, and I needed some breakfast before hitting up the Detroit Eastern Market. Saw a McDonald's, went in and ordered a sausage mcmuffin, was surprised that it was only $1. Right after I paid, they had it bagged and ready. It was delicious. I devoured it in the car like a guilty, yet happy, squirrel. Were my eyes closed? Maybe. Because when I opened them, I saw a guy in his car eating his fast food breakfast sandwich, and I wanted it. But his windows weren't open. And I reasoned that his car doors were probably locked. The power of good reasoning.

This was ridiculous to be stuck in the drive through for approximately 48 minutes. I feel asleep while waiting twice. Once you're so far in the lanes your stuck. Only to get to the speaker and was sitting another 15mins. I decided not to even order at that point. Still could not leave because the car from the far lane still had me blocked in. I finally left and drove to the Mc Donald at Mack and Conners. I got my food completely fresh and hot within 10 mins. Very Angry frequent customer!!!!! I even called them 3 times to see what was going on and no answer!!!!

I frequent this location often as it is near my office. I had a very simple order side of bacon and a hash brown for a grand total of $2.43. The cashier provided no greeting but repeated my order at window. She gave me change without a thank you. It's early maybe she's not a morning person. The person at second window very nice and even thanked me for my business. Wow! I get to work and open up my breakfast and to my surprise I have a hash brown and egg cheese biscuit. I call the store to apprise them of my situation and the person that answers insists that I come back to the restaurant. I inform her that I'm at work and I'm sure your called identification indicates that as well and I'm unable to return because I'm at work. She says when will you be back I say January would you like to record my name for the next time I'm there. She says no we have to see our mistake. I said oh I can text you a photo of what I received. She says no she doesn't want that. I say let me speak to a supervisor she leaves me on indefinite hold never to come back surprising right? Bottom line it's not about the money but the person who answered could/should have been more accommodating. Fortunately for her i had time today and contacted corporate. Even if they don't do anything I'm satisfied with the response from the corporate representative.

I'm being nice with this 2 star rating. The manager tried to save it. I have the McDonald's app, they had a coupon for a $1 Burger. The entire cashier staff has no clue what it was and kept trying to get me to get the cheeseburger. I explained that you can get a quarter pounder with cheese for a dollar. The girl said no you can't. I asked her to scan the coupon, she scanned it twice and told me I used it already. After explaining she scanned it twice they had a staff meeting in front of us. They told me they were not going to honor the coupon. I asked for the manger and the manager fixed it. The night before I was told they don't take the McDonald's app. I'm done with this location.

It's simple. People who work in this establishment do not care for their job or have the skill to complete the job requirements. I have attempted on multiple occasions to order, only to either wait a period that a five star restaurant takes to make a steak or not get my complete order. It's sad to see a group of people lack the character to complete their job responsibilities. As much as I enjoy having a McDonald's in Detroit. The people who are hired should be trained, or shut the place down. If they refuse, fire as needed. 0 star if I could.

If you want to spend 25 minutes waiting for a happy meal.. come here. The staff is so slow, they don't even give you your drinks prior to the meal. I waited for 30+ minutes. I'm not sure why it takes so long when supposedly every machine is down, so at this point there isn't even much to order. Stay away, these people are lazy and inconsiderate of their customers time. Oh and prior to even coming into the drive thru we had ordered it thru Uber eats and they kept delaying the time, from 12:10 am until 1:10 am and at that point it still wasn't ready so we cancelled it. Waste of time!!! Also.. when I knocked on the window to get their attention they proceeded to dance around and just ignored me. NOT EVEN A HELLO WHEN THEY OPENED THE WINDOW! They should all be fired, slow lazy workers!

You know, I do try to avoid McDonald's the majority of the time. There are occasions when it is the only convenient option, however. Most of the McDonald's I've been to can be relied upon to provide the same food we've grown to expect. However, this McDonald's location has consistently disappointed me for the past decade, plus. When I was still working downtown, the Mack Ave. location was only a mile away from the office, and given the good service I've received at other McDonald's locations my entire life, I kept trying to give this location another chance. Every time I went there, there was some problem. My order would be incorrect. They'd be out of something. The drive-thru would be backed up onto Mack. A couple of times, the restaurant closed because they were out of buns! You'd go inside and it was complete chaos - no lines to the cash registers, and no effort made on the part of employees to restore order. It felt like I had entered an episode of Celebrity Deathmatch on more than one occasion, with other customers ready to challenge you for position and snap your neck if they didn't get their McNuggets before you placed your order. My husband still works downtown, a mile away from this place. He tries to avoid it, but there are days that it's an unfortunate necessity. EVERY TIME and I DO MEAN EVERY time, they mess up his order, and often, they are rude/curt. He's polite. He enunciates clearly into the drive thru speaker. He usually goes during off-times when they are not swamped. And yet, every time he goes, his drink order is filled with the wrong beverage, and his food order is often not filled as requested, either. We've written the franchisee a couple of times about this and received apology letters with coupons for a replacement meal. He goes back and uses those, only to have the same damn problems that caused him to write and complain in the first place. You'd think that there'd be a consciousness about the fact that not only do they serve the downtown Detroit area, but since they are right off of I-75, the main thoroughfare, travelers through the area would be more inclined to stop there if they knew that they'd get the consistent service most people expect from McDonald's. I'd love to be able to follow up to this review in the future and say, "Wow! They've really turned things around! You can go here and trust that you will receive exactly what you ordered." But somehow, I doubt that will ever happen. They've had the same track record since 2000. I'll just hope that this is a situation in which I am eventually forced to retract my complaints. But for now, they are very legitimate.

I wish I could give a lower rating than 1 star with the way we were serviced at this location, easily the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. The line was moving super slow, which I understand that happens, but when we finally got to the ordering station, we were waiting about 10 minutes before we could even order, 4 or 5 cars went through the other side before we could even order. When we finally did get to order, the employee was rude and difficult. I would recommend driving another few miles to go somewhere other than thid location, dissapointing.

Stopped for a quick lunch after class. Not only was the cashier rude and had an attitude, but they also did not put any meat on my burger. If I had wanted just bread and cheese smeared with mustard and ketchup I would have asked my 3 year old brother to make me a burger. Do not recommend.

I only give reviews when I have a good experience at a facility. If bad, I just don't go back. This is my favorite the staff is so nice; drive thru and inside the restaurant. They always get my orders correct. I go there for coffee three days per week, and have them put my cream and sugar inside for me. Always perfect! Never had to have them make it over. Love their ice coffee in the summer. It's never weak. Food is always hot and not because it set under a heater.

I came here around midnight after work last night for a little snack and I got the saddest, most burnt quarter pounder I have ever received. The woman working the speaker in the first window was busy listening to music loudly and dancing around to make sure I got the right order. The guy at the second window who handled my food told me I didn't pay for a large pop, when I for sure know I did, and wouldn't give me one unless I paid for it again. When I got home, I realized that the burger was completely cold and stale, like it had been sitting out for a while. I also partially got the wrong order, because I ordered a Mcdouble and a large fry and Coke also, but I got chicken nuggets and a regular pop but no fries. And surprise surprise, the nuggets were overcooked and cold, and tasted like they've been sitting out for a while also. I know not to expect amazing service from McDonald's, but this was really bad.

Problem #1 Wouldn't let us in the lobby at 7:30 when the lobby closes at 8, they claim they were short staffed but a girl just sittin there eatin and I seen like 5 other people working. Problem #2 we go through the drive through and they took 3 other peoples orders before ours even though we had been waiting there before them. Problem #3 asked to talk to a manager who wouldn't even listen to our problems and got loud with us first askin "WHATS YOUR PROBLEM" over and over, maybe if u shut up for 5 seconds you'd understand our "problem" so ya I'm gonna get loud with you if you wanna get loud with me. Problem #4 bless my hubbys heart who was trying to talk to homie very calmly, got the window slammed in his face by the manager. How professional, maybe hire managers that know how to manage staff and talk to people since that's the whole point of their job. This was on Saturday night September 21st by a manager with dreads.
