Disappointing customer service from the manager.
A friend and I stopped in for a quick bite at around 1:30pm on Simcoe Monday (Monday in August).
We ordered at the kiosk. He ordered a burger, extra onions, extra pickles, I ordered a burger no pickles, no onions.
Our order was out in the normal wait time.
When we got to a table and opened our burgers, both were smothered in onions. I checked the receipt from the kiosk, it showed our order as described above. I checked the slip the staff attached to the wrapper..it said no onions, no pickles....so off I went to the counter.
A male cashier asked if there was a problem and I explained the issue. He apologized and another employee told him to repunch the burger in, so the order could be sent to the back for preparation.
At this time, a female manager butted in and said that both orders were extra onions and that I must have punched it in incorrectly. I showed both employees the slip on the burger which showed that it was no onions and the female employee said to the manager that the slip showed no onions. The manager looked at me, turned and walked away (without apologizing for her attempt to blame me (for their error) and for her incorrect assertion that it was my fault).
Perhaps before blaming a customer, you should get your facts straight. It speaks volumes to how a place is run when a staff member apologizes for a managers behaviour.
No issues with food warmth or quality, just poor management.
