I ordered a large caramel frappe, and which I do this every day for McDonald’s but normally I go to the one in Fleming Island, which I always have great service from by the way, particularly the last two days I have been going to the McDonald’s and Green Cove Springs and which I received this caramel frappe This is all the caramel drizzle that they give you when I asked her if I could have a little bit more caramel than what was on there because I’ve never received a caramel frappe that had this little caramel. The lady told me that that’s all the caramel I get unless I was going to pay extra And proceeded to shut the window. The lady was very nasty very rude. She was the same lady that was on the Mic She has no mannerism and is the manager. I will not be spending my money at McDonald’s in Green Cove Springs ever again. I never leave Google reviews, but today with the distasteful attitude, this young lady exhibited as a manager the face of the store. I was very disgusted. In case a general manager decides to review this this was the morning Of October 29, 2025 and my order ticket says 10:32 AM. She was the one making the frappe’s by the way. This young lady has a very miserable persona and it is not good to have someone working in customer service who is discussing to the clients. I am a currently disabled veteran who has served this country, and I deserve to be respected as well as anybody else who comes through the drive-through you have no idea who you are entertaining. The Bible speaks about being conscious of how you entertain because you may be entertaining Angels unaware and although I am not an angel, I am someone who deserves to be respected and so is everyone else this is not just about the caramel drizzle that was placed on my frappe this is about the way. A young lady spoke to a customer Who keeps McDonald’s in service and I am 100% sure that I am not the only one who has received this despicable mannerism from this young lady her attitude was completely disgusting. She had no regard for her mannerism and blatantly Showed that. I hope that someone who is able to do something about it, reads this message and understands the importance of customer service.

I am beyond disappointed and honestly shocked at how far this McDonald’s has fallen. What was once my go-to location has turned into a complete circus in the span of just two weeks. I placed my order at the kiosk and then waited an absolutely unacceptable 20+ minutes for food that should take minutes. During this time, the front counter employee did not acknowledge a SINGLE customer for at least 10 minutes. Instead, he chose to openly flirt with a female customer and socialize with friends who were there for job interviews. It was painfully obvious that customer service was not a priority whatsoever. When I finally received my order, the food was an embarrassment. Stale fries, cold sandwiches, and cold nuggets for my children. If I’m paying these prices, the absolute bare minimum expectation is HOT, edible food — which clearly could not be met. This location is being severely mismanaged, and it shows. Between the lack of professionalism, blatant disregard for customers, and unacceptable food quality, this was one of the worst fast-food experiences I’ve had in a long time. I will not be returning to this location unless there is a major change in staffing, management, and accountability. Corporate should be deeply concerned, because this store is actively driving customers away.

Today I went to McDonalds in Green Cove Springs. I ordered a quarter pounder. The quarter pounder patty was larger than the bun and flat with the edges crispy. I went to the counter and spoke with an associate and asked if they changed their Quarter Pounder and he said they hadn’t. The manager was there too, and I asked her and she said they haven’t changed the quarter pounder. I said that the quarter pounder I have is flat and was bigger than the bun, which I’ve never had before. She again said that was their quarter pounder. It was the worst quarter pounder I’ve ever had – flat and overdone like a smash burger. I didn’t want a smash burger!!! All I can think of is the cook smashed the living daylight out of the quarter pounder paddy. I have friends that have complained about their local McDonalds and sworn not to ever frequent a McDonalds again! However, I bragged on our McDonalds here in Green Cove Springs and that I’ve always have had great and personal service and quality cooked food. I can’t say that anymore. Terrible burger today!!! Not worth the $$$!

It was my first time at a McDonald’s in Green Cove Springs, and the service was amazing. A kind employee checked on us more than once to see if we needed anything, and the service was fast and very satisfying. Everything was a 10/10.

Had a delicious Double Quarter Pounder today from the GCS Mc D’s it was worthy of a picture.. I have always been very impressed with the customer service and delicious food. Actual pride in the making of their food.

First time in this location because of Greencove Christmas parade, they were busy but the crew works hard, provide great service and very nice. Keep up the good work!

Waited in line for 10 minutes after taking my order and there is no movement in the line so I just decided to leave. I’ve never been to a McDonald’s where it was that slow. Whoever is managing this place needs to get their stuff together.

Small town McDonald’s has a lot of regulars that you’re about to lose. I would rethink the new manager Joshua. If he can’t handle someone being polite with an issue, I can’t imagine what he’s about to do to this store or how he treats his staff. Rolling his eyes in response to a polite customer is WILD. I don’t care if my order is incorrect, things happen. I wasn’t upset at all walking in and your manager had me walking out of there calling corporate. I won’t be back here until you get rid of him.

Food was very very nasty and cold. I ordered a 20 piece cook to order, funny thing is they made us wait and gave us nuggets from 11 am. Service is bad

Today 2/8/25, I went through the drive thru to grab my toddler some lunch while we were out and about. I just had to compliment this location and the team working today. The nuggets and fries were extremely fresh and the staff were super kind! Thank you guys!!

Went for the minecraft meal and they didnt have it what the freak. Why isnt the Minecraft meal at all location? only came for that.

The managers here are way too young... They blame the workers for NO REASON at all!! HIRE MORE PROFESSIONAL MANAGERS, and train your new hires!! I would not work or eat here...

I ordered a McRib, which was almost $6 just for the sandwich. When I got back to work to eat it, they had put it on a hamburger bun. Very disappointed.

This place is horrible! I ordered a salad, Water, And a burrito! And I got a cheeseburger, Coke, Ans 2 large fries! I do not recommend this place 0/10.

First of all lets start with my nuggets they where super oily and they were old and the fries was salty and it was giving high blood pressure.the lady just yelled and was rude and when asked to be remade she said no and kicked me out the restaurant

I love this McDonald's and am happy to live in Green Cove because of it! My fiancé lives in Julington creek so I've been to a couple of other locations and it's like a different restaurant. This McDonald's is the standard for all

My five stars review is for similar fast food restaurants not for restaurants in general you cannot come to McDonald's and expect to be served gourmet dinner or you are bound to be disappointed. If you tail your expectations to reality, this is actually a fantastic McDonald's. When I walked in I immediately noticed how big, open, and clean the place was. The girl at the counter was friendly and didn't have too much of a fuss placing my order for two bacon cheeseburgers with no bun and when they came out in their own little individual plastic containers they looked excellent. I spent some weeks in eastern Europe last summer and I noticed that the McDonald's there are so much nicer than they are in the United States, well this McDonald's is closing in on being similar to the ones down there in fact, the style is very similar to the ones I saw in Eastern Europe. The food was fresh, the drink station was immaculately clean, there was no dirt no your food, nor debris, nor trash on the floor and the trash cans were empty. I didn't try the drive-through but the line was not very long and it look like it was moving at a good clip. I think the thing that struck me about this McDonald's is that the employees didn't appear to be unhappy about working for McDonald's, they seemed content, and that is amazing to find so it appears that the management/ownership must be doing something right. This was my first visit to this McDonald's although I pass by here several times a month on the way back and forth to court and I have never stopped but I think I might start coming here when I have a little craving for a bacon cheeseburger no bun.

5/24/2023 10:30am We ordered normally and went through the and paid normally; but when we went to get our food the person at the window started professional but standoffish. Thinking nothing of that because it's fast food we get it we carried on, we had asked for extra sweetener in a coffee, there was not enough that the person wanted to drink it so we kindly asked to get sweetened. The girls attitude changed from professional to rude and nasty. We asked if we could get just a couple more pumps and she was rude and shut the window and said don't yell at me as if we were yelling or being rude to her. It was very unprofessional on her and shows the value McDonald's in Green cove has.

Consistency of product. Clean location with clean restrooms. If you're looking for Mcdonald's then you'll get what you were looking for. No surprises other than their shake machine works more often than not!!

Clean place and nice staff. Fries have been good thus far and burgers have been not cold. 4 stars for me. Glad Mickey D's has added some lubrications( lettuce, tomatoes and some condiments), to their quarter pounders with the QP Deluxe. They always had good flavor to me but were dry.

Well McDonalds in Green Cove Springs really showed us that they are not interested in return business. Tonight, I assumed it was THE EVENING MANAGER told me that I needed to go thru the drive -thru again to order a small coke. Jeeezzzz.... our family of 5 placed an order at the Drive-Thru and forgot to get our youngest son a small drink. I informed the customer service associate at the pick up window after I had already paid for our order at the first window. After handing my credit card to the associate her manager informed her that I needed to go back through the Drive-Thru and place the order. Really, was she trying to prove a point or did she not know how to use the cash register? The customer service associate wanted to help, but the manager just wouldn't have it. All she had to do is ring it up. There wasn't even another vehicle behind us..... This is not the path for repeat business! Please train your managers or shift leaders!

Checking Google and iPhone maps, this location says they are open 5 AM to 4 AM as is their drive-through. I pulled up at 2:45 AM the lights were off on the outside the automated voice machine did go off when I pulled up to the speaker box but nobody took my order I looked inside and nobody was inside either. If you're not open at specific times you should probably adjust your hours so people know.

Wow, drive through busy. Came inside. No line. Placed my own order and paid for one drink at the kiosk and 5 min still no one to give me the cup. Chaos.

After traveling to Palatka for a funeral I was on my way back to Jax and STARVING. I saw McDonalds and decided to get fries to hold me over until I got back into Jax. I thought it would be quick.... Nope. First of all I pull into the parking lot and see 0 cars in the drive through! I thought this would be an easy process...nope. They had the two car thingie for ordering so I order and as soon as I start to pull up...TRICKERY! There were 5 cars in front of me that I couldn't see! We were in line for about 15 minutes before we got to the window and I joked to my friend-what if we have to pull up into one of the numbered spaces to wait for fries...well, WE DID! COME ON!! I told the guy at the window I just made that joke and he laughed like sorrrryyyyy but either way we waited another 5 minutes for fries and they were at least hot and fresh and everything you could ask for in. McDonald's fry. So at least there was that.

This was the worst experience ever. Asked for hot food was given cold food that was not remotely hot. The server told me to get out of the lobby since he was closed but the doors were still open. Argued with me that the fries were fresh out of the grease. He is a disgrace to the company and should not work in this industry. The woman taking orders in the drive thru was very rude and wouldn't let us finish our order without telling us the final price. Will never return to this place to eat ever again!!!!

This was the worst McDonald's That I have ever had not only is it microwaved it had a pubic hair in it and this just made me not eat any food for lunch I wish I could rate Zero stars

Don't know why there's all the bad reviews for this location. This place is pretty awesome every time I go through drive-thru. The staff at the window is pleasant and I always get efficient service. My overall satisfaction for this McDonald's is high. They always seem to get my orders right and they offer fast and friendly service. I recall even saying to myself when leaving, "Wow that was fast!" Apparently, Mickey D's rolled out The McPick 2 Menu where you can mix and match menu items on a special menu. This program lets you choose 2 of your favorite items for only $2 such as the McChicken, the McDouble, their World Famous Fries or their Mozzarella Sticks (3 Piece). ***Prices and participation may vary. For a limited time. Price of single item posted on menu board. So if you're eating food here, you may want to ask about that menu. Most of the time I'm coming here for a coffee to wake me up. Their Caramel Lattes are delicious and only $3.20 each. So far, so good. No complaints here. :)

They ran out of beef. A burger place ran out of meat. How does that happen? It's McDonald's wtf youre legit a burger place and you ran out of meat? Trash place

My husband and I live right here in Green Cove. McDonald's has repeatedly gotten drive through orders wrong, usually giving us a burger prepared their way, not ours. Confusion seems to happen when they add the condiments we choose, in addition to putting on other items that usually come on the burger as advertised. This results in an unrecognizable mess. The short order window person just doesn't listen. It happened again tonight, and instead of just choking the burger down, I told my husband that I'd had enough of their carelessness - to take me back. Upon returning the Quarter Pounder that I'd ordered with lettuce, tomato, and mayo - to which they'd added unwanted onions and ketchup - I asked for a free small order of fries for our having to come back. Window teen took the old burger and said she'd pass on my message. We pulled up to the receiving window, expecting to get fresh burger, free fries, and plenty of apologies. Not to be. A short excited woman loudly told us there'd be no free fries - that the reason my burger was wrong was my fault. Though I'd specifically asked for my choice of condiments, she said playback of my order with the order taker revealed that when he asked me if this was "add on," I said yes, when I understood it as "only." Apparently, with my not knowing their terminology, I confused the order taker and their system, resulting in my ruined burger. I feel so ignorant. The fast-talking frantic woman in charge, so convinced that I was wrong, passed the corrected food to my husband. I said I wanted our money back. She said no. I was angry and horrified. I told her I was going to report my experience to Yelp. She looked triumphant, arrogantly closed the window in our faces, and trotted away. No apologies.

The early morning crew is awesome. The afternoon crew...not so much. Too many order mess ups in the afternoon.

Ordered food here today and the cashier had an attitude about me asking if I could have the cup for the drink I ordered, then I got home and only had fries in my bag when I ordered a meal so I'm highly pissed off and will not beg back thank you for the waste of my gas and time McDonald's!!

Stopped in for lunch yesterday and was taken care of quickly with no real hassles or food quality issues. I did hear the drive thru cashier and a customer have what sounded like a somewhat heated exchange for a moment, so when I got up to him I asked what the problem was? He replied that the customer was smoking and he didn't like it. It made me laugh so hard, way to stand up for yourself dude!

l.m.a.o. they screw up a order couple week back kid hungry swing in get him a sandwich all went ok i thought. and the police brings out my order and inform me the lady manager want me banned from there mcdonald i start laughing at the cop he smile he was cool said i know it my job. said you are trespassed for 2 years said that cool but can we make it 20 years. the officer said you can leave a review i said oh trust me i will and i do more than that i got few calls to make to corporate office for what that will do. go to burger king any were but that mcdonald they suck

They would have gotten more stars if not for them completely forgetting my burgers. I went through the drive-thru and and had to make a u-turn and go back for my burgers and some straws. I mean, it wouldn't have been so bad if it were just one burger, but it was ALL 5! Then, they acted like I wouldn't have come back for them and even rolled their eyes at me. The only reason for the second star is that I had ordered dollar menu stuff, but I guess there's a deal going on or something that large drinks were same price as small and double burgers same price as dollar burgers. That was cool of them to let me know, but then they didn't give me the burgers.

Green Cove Springs only has so many places to grab some fast food breakfast on the way to work. Day 1: I was missing food that I ordered. No biggie, but I have to wait to get the missing stuff and watched 4 cars go through and get their stuff before I got the stuff I was missing. Day 2: I corrected the order because it was wrong on the screen, she repeated it to me at the window and they still gave me the wrong stuff at the second window. I had to ask for my other hashbrowns. When they asked me to pull forward, I said no because of what had happened the previous day. Day 3: I ordered something different and paid extra ($1.40 extra) to have bacon added because I wanted the bacon AND the sausage. When I got to work and opened it (even after paying the extra). I only had the bacon, NO SAUSAGE. GRRRRR. SHOW ME THE BACON.... AND sausage!

Every time we go there the food is mediocre warm, and something from our order is always forgotten. My seven year old summed it up by saying, it's like they know it's us, and they forget our stuff on purpose.

Worst customer service and ruddest people I have ever met. Ordered Big Mac yesterday, had one burger, three rolls, no cheese, no pickles, no onions.....maybe they need to learn the little recipe song. STAY AWAY

Great place! Go there all the time crew is great. Never had problem. Food is good. Clean place. Try some of the other ones. Service my have it's up and downs but store is always busy.

Came in on a Saturday apparently they had activity going on they were busy but my food was great and they where very polite Store was clean. Sometimes we don't appreciate them for their hard work and I want to say thank you to the store. And I thought they handled it very well and it was moving and they were doing a great job and working as a team work everybody was helping everybody.

Coming back from my vacation. Stop at the mcdonalds and ordered a steak bagel it was fresh and they let me know that it was going to be because they were cooking it food was great and perfect. The crew was very friendly and the place is very clean

Best fast food in Clay County, burgers are always juicy, nice and friendly service. Very clean, I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

I go to this location . They are always nice and fast. And they work as a team. If they make a mistake it's ok we all human. They are quick to take care of it when they do make a mistake. Never had a problem. And they are very clean .
