I loved it! Not the best McDonald's I've ever been, but solid one. I got a new 6$ combo which they advertise everywhere. This combo includes a burger, a portion of French fries, a pack of sauce, 4 pieces of nuggets and a small drink. But the original size of the cup doesn't matter because you can drink as much as you want just using their soda fountain. Many drinks available. I also ordered a packet of salsa and a caramel ice cream. My wife ordered a frappuchino, but they forgot to give it to her. But I asked for it and they immediately corrected their mistake without questions. To be fair, they mistakenly gave us an extra packet of salsa. Also they forgot to give us a spoon initially, but we got it eventually. The place was a bit dirty but the employee was cleaning right in front of us. Music inside was great. The staff is helpful and friendly. Enjoyed my meal. Can't say anything about drive through though.

This McDonald's is always incredibly slow whether you go inside, use the drive thru or order ahead of mobile sometimes with up to an hour wait. Then after you wait forever to get your food more often than not your order is completely wrong no matter how simple. In short I'd recommend no one goes here unless you want to waste your time and your money.

There was only 3 people working. We stood at the counter for 7 min waiting for service. Once we yelled to the back for help at the register, a lady came out with a really crappy attitude. Thanked her multiple times before we yelled at her for being rude. Then, our food took over 30 min to come to the table. Definitely needs better communication with their PAYING customers!!!! Will not be coming back till attitudes and service has been changed. Was very disappointed for a restaurant in a decent sized town.

There’s so much wrong i don’t know where to start. We pulled up to the drive thru window, and waited at least 6 minutes to be acknowledged from anyone. When someone finally asked what we’d like, they messed up the order and had to redo it. We ordered a medium big mac meal, happy meal, mc chicken with no lettuce and a double cheeseburger. Then we pulled up to pay and they did not confirm our order just shoved the card reader in our face. Then, they gave us our drinks at the second window and what was supposed to be 2 dr peppers and a coke ended up being a cherry coke, club soda and a coke. Then they had us pull to the drive thru parking spots which we waited in for at least 20 minutes until i decided to go inside to ask for a sweet n sour sauce. I waited at the counter with at least 8 other people waiting for their food. An employee told the crowd that if they needed to order they had to do it at the kiosk because they were busy. I asked if i could just get a sweet n sour sauce and she very rudely and with attitude said “what’d you order? i can’t just give it to you.” i said i ordered through the drive thru, hadn’t gotten my food yet and got a happy meal. she gave me a look and handed it to me. Then i went back to my car and we waited another 10 minutes for them to bring us our food and forgot the happy meal. they messed up the mc chicken and the food was lukewarm by the time we got it. The staff inside was slow, they had all the orders just weren’t putting them together and handing them out. Orders were just sitting around and the employees were looking around like lost puppy’s chatting about random stuff. They ignored all the customers and pick up drivers. Worst mcdonald’s experience, not a manager in sight. I almost grabbed a name tag and helped them out. They need better efficiency and speed.

Used the mobile app to order one of the limited deals on the app. One if those where you get a free big mac with a $2 purchase. Somehow the order went through and only ordered the large fries, didn't include the big mac. When they handed me the order I explained the above. The response from the worker was "I have nothing to do with the app, not my problem" and the walked away. I reordered the big mac with small fries and finally got it 5 minutes later. Needless to say it wasn't a deal since I had already paid for the large fries. Horrible customer service, could have easily been handled differently but apparently good customer service is not something this particular worker cares about.

Funny same issue as review before me, more than 45 minutes in line waiting. I had enough time to download the app, registering account, order my food and pay for it while still waiting at the speaker. The woman working at the window was very pleasant when I said something about the timing saying that they were short staffed and the manager was trying to bag up orders. Fully understand being short staffed however, after 45 minutes the least I would expect is hot food. Nope cold.

The McDonald's in Ithaca on Elmira Rd. Is the only one I will stop at traveling from Watkins Glen to Dryden. They are the most consistent, but always very busy. A big shout out to Camara for holding that place down. I have seen it on multiple occasions. I appreciate you.

could anyone come to work here?? they are so rude when you have to ask for them to serve you. we said thank you 3 times before they responded. Fed ex guy gave up waiting. 40 min to eat. 20 min for them to fix their mistake.

Drive-Thru OK - just avoid at dinner time if at all possible. Inside the restaurant is disorganized mess most anytime you go. The one in Dryden or in Lansing is more highly recommended. Food is ok when you get it... sometimes its actually "FAST".

I can't even give them 1 star! The place is horrible. I did a order on my mobile app and waited 1 hour and 10 minutes. They didn't have chicken nuggets, Big Mac's and apparently no pickles at least they didn't put pickles on my cheeseburger. This is the 2nd time I've waited more then a hour and my last time here. The owner should be ashamed of themselves totally unacceptable

Worst McDonalds ive ever been too, waited around 45 minutes for food on a dine in ordering the kiosk , all employees seemed to be doped up and couldn't tell what a snack wrap was from a mc crispy I had to tell them the difference. everyone was just standing around not doing their job and just watching the food get made and then watch it just sit there as it builds up. when I was actually given my food and the correct order it was soggy, cold and clearly had just been sitting out the entire time I was waiting, they were just serving orders and placing the receipts everywhere losing them and not keeping track of anything. plus there was like so many doordash bags everywhere it was messy, gross and unreliable never go here.

When ordering through the app, you never once said that their systems were down when pulled up to the window. Everybody hid because no one will come to the drive-through speaker. When asked why they wouldn't take my already paid for order. They said that their systems were down and I just had to get out of there

Thirty minutes. That's how long I sat in the drive-thru, watching cars stack up behind me as if we were all waiting for a once-in-a-lifetime event, not a cheeseburger. Not a single order was taken, not a word spoken, just silence. Eventually, I gave up and went inside to ask about the mobile order we had already placed--surely that would be ready. Instead, I was told nothing could be done, and we still walked away empty-handed. To call this disappointing would be an understatement. This wasn't just slow service--it was no service. The drive-thru, supposedly the crown jewel of McDonald's convenience, was reduced to a staging ground for collective suffering. And the refusal to honor an order already paid for? That takes it from incompetence into insult. What unfolded here wasn't fast food--it was a tragicomedy of inefficiency. If this location is the future of dining, then the Golden Arches have not only lost their shine--they've crumbled.

Possibly the WORST Mickey D's I've ever been to. Every time I've visited, something has gone wrong--whether they forget something or mess up our order. The service is poor, and it's severely understaffed. I once visited in the evening with my family, and the cashier was shouting loudly to call a customer while simultaneously taking our order. It was chaotic. Rude attitude while getting our order as well. This location has consistently failed to deliver even the basics of fast food service. Avoid if you can.

I went to this place pretty late being on vacation with some friends and family and the indoors of this place was closed so we had to go threw the drive through which I personally hate already. We pulled up to the window and it took a bit for somebody to come take our order and when she did she was very rude, we pulled up and she didn't put my friends burger into our order and she said she couldn't do that because she didn't hear us the first time. Once in the car I just grabbed my chicken nuggets when I realized they only gave me EIGHT chicken McNuggets! Horrible place for a late night snack, horrible place in general!

Waited a long time. Computer screens didn't work had to order from kiosk put order in for here took a number and waited at table. Finally I had to go up to counter to find out where's my food. Still had to wait. And when it came it was for take out clearly says on recipe to stay. Not one cashier in front nobody when food came fries were cold as were my quarter pounder w cheese meal and my kids chicken nuggets were cold also. Floors were in need of a mopping. Worst experience at any McDonalds I've ever had.

Me and my fiancé DoorDash a few times around this area and two times so far there's an older gentleman who's kinda bald but also not fully. He is extremely rude and unprofessional. The first time He was very rude when telling us to pull to the third window and when he handed us our food he rolled his eyes and slammed the door. The second time he was rude we were in drive through at the part we're u order he came up to us with a bunch of DoorDash orders in hand asking which was ours we got it but I also had an online order that was already paid for and he rudely kept telling us they were only accepting cash. But it was just a sweet tea and already paid for online 15 minutes before we even got there.

Wish I could give no stars. I got my sealed bag of food delivered to me tonight and a live mouse jumped out of the bag . My husband luckily killed it with a mouse trap. Don't go here I called the restaurant and the manager who was a man told me "looks like you have a new pet" then hung up on me. That manager needs to be fired and that places needs to be shut down that is disgusting. Never eat from here trust me not worth any amount of money!

They were so busy and handled the rush beautifully! Front end staff was great and communicative. The men working mobile orders in line need to be replaced. They were not communicative and I watched them slowly make my bacon McDoubles piece by piece. Grabbing one patty and then walking all the way over where the buns were and then going back and grabbing another patty. They were so slow the front end mixed up and order. The front end owned their mistake and proceeded to fix it. The back of house staff I witnessed were extremely incompetent and holding up the lunch rush. Food was good expect lacking in adequate condiments. I will only be back because of the front end staff and their ability to communicate and their problem resolution skills.

Worst service. They gave me the wrong order and when I said I ordered something else the worker said to go back around the window. He didn't understand that I had already paid and placed my order and was waiting on that one. Then he shut the window on my face when I was explaining this to him. Thankfully I was able to get a refund the next day.

The man at the drive thru at 12:30 am on 9/29/24 was so incredibly rude and had absolutely no costumer service what so ever. He said, "WHAT" when we were telling him we were pulling up our code from the app. And when we said we were ready he never responded and took someone else's order instead. This man should be F I R E D. I work for a business and that is NOT how you handle costumer service. Are u kidding me????

Zero effort by the staff. Took 15 to even order, and I got there before there was a line: ordered an iced coffee and a McMuffin. Got to the window and the lady wearing pajamas aggressively grabbed my card and did not confirm the order, and gave me a sweet tea and some scorched bagel and hash browns that I didn't order. She wouldn't let me give them back. Train your staff, and maybe see to it that they change their clothes when they roll out of bed. No one wants to see that.

Why do people whine about this corporate giant - you know what you're going to get. I'm not a fan of these chain restaurants but when you are in a hurry they are the most convenient place to grab a quick satisfying meal. We stopped by for morning coffee and came back for some breakfast sandwiches and happy meal.

Showed up late night. After calling and confirming they were open 24/7, we showed up, and made our order. After we finished our order, a long pause was concluded with "sorry we're only service breakfast" after making a new order with breakfast items, they said "that's gonna take 30 minutes". Sensing they didn't want to serve us we said we would wait. They then said "sorry we only have drinks". Very frustrating.

We walked in few minutes after 11 PM as we flew in at that time and walked to this McDonald from our hotel. Instead of helping us or even trying to, the person working yelled they were closed and made us leave. The place was clearly open and filling orders it would have not taken any effort for them to fill another ( they are open 24 hrs after all). This is not the McDonald if you looking for service or food.

For the second time in two weeks my husband and I stopped at this McDonalds. Not our first choice but given our work schedules it's what's fast. This place is a joke, the food sucks and for a bunch of people making $15 an HR you'd think they could get the orders right. Both times we've stopped they have been out of things, they don't give us the fries or a burger is missing and we have to circle back through. What adds insult to injury is some 17 yr old assistant manager who tells you he can't give you the fries you ordered because it's not on the receipt because the cashier forgot to punch it in! I will be calling the supervisor tomorrow. Suck it kid

Went through the drive up to get an iced tea and a hamburger....handed the girl at the first window a $20, and she handed me back my change with an 8"x 3" orange strip of paper advertising that they were hiring, so I figured as I don't need this, I'll give it back at the next window when I get my order. Tried to give it back and was told by the girl that she would get in trouble by her manager if she took it back...so I asked why? She told me it was due to COVID. I laughed and said really? You just gave it to me, lol.......and you took paper money from me too! It makes no sense at all, so I just shook my head and drove away.:....lmao!!

The very rude , unprofessional manager of this store discriminates and hates Uber drivers. She told me I can't pick up mi orders in the drive thru and I asked her why. She said exactly these words "Because you're holding up the line to PAYING customers. She emphasized paying . So Uber eats drivers are holding up the line because we're picking up food that hasn't been paid for. On the contrary, our customer have already PAID for them food long before any of the customers that still need to pay after they make their order. When I confronted her on what she said she immediately proceeded to deny she said that except I recorded the conversation and she's going to have to answer to corporate. The only reason she lied she didn't say exactly what she said she did is obviously because she knows she is discriminating against drivers and Uber eats customers that she claims didn't pay for their food. Extremely disgusting and disrespectful attitude towards drivers and our customers and she was definitely reported to corporate. Every employee there stated to try to bully me when I stood up to the manager for her discriminating and disrespectful to my driving PAID customers food. These employees and managers are low class and have extremely disturbing attitudes. If you order your food through Uber eats you are not a paying customer and you are holding up the line when you come to get your food.

The employees here are nice, but honestly, it is so hit or miss regarding the food, I finally made the executive decision to just drive to the Triphammer Road location from now on. The Dryden McDonald's is HANDS DOWN, the best McDonald's in this area.

Was there at 0530 this morning. Opens at 5am. Waited at the drive thru then pulled up and waited. People in there moving around but didn't have the decency to let any customer know what they were doing. This is not abnormal for this Mc Donald's. Anytime I go there 99% of the time I have to pull up and wait. Very unorganized and known for forgetting to put the correct food or your food at all in the bag. Cold food and soupy frappes. They need new management and all new employees. And I'd give you zero stars if I could..

With the exception of one person that helped us when we didnt get everything...(mel)..the mcdonalds down town is an embarassment.... the launguage behind the counter was horrible and us along with another few people hadnt been before didnt realize you had to order from a kiosk...after being ignored for a good 3 minutes she finally says..uhh what do you need...are you kidding me...she brings our food over and drops the tray on the table and walks away... then the guy next to us gets his food says thank you and asks for his drink and she just walked away...and brought it back...talk about absolutly horrible customer service i mean i know its fast food but would it kill people to have a little respect....we wont be back

This is by far the DIRTIEST McDonalds I have ever been to. Consistently filthy over the last three years. The Triphammer Rd McD's is nice and clean. I wish the employees at both places earned enough for dental care.

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE "CONE" or what us humans (and hopeless addicts) call a vanilla ICE CREAM CONE, formerly known as mcdonald's frozen yogurt, until it was revealed that it wasn't frozen yogurt at all.... it is: Whole milk, sucrose, cream, nonfat milk solids, corn syrup solids, mono and diglycerides, guar gum, imitation vanilla flavor, carrageenan, cellulose gum, vitamin A palmitate. (see:http://www.fatfreekitchen.com/junkfoods/mcdonald-ingredients.html) and it's not "Vanilla", it's Vanilla-ish, or vanilla-like, or more commonly vanilla-flavored. And it's not ice cream, it's ice-cream-esque. Hence why mcdonalds simply called it a "Cone". I'm all about simplifying-- I mean, why not just call a food by it's shape? Seems intuitive, right? I'll have a circle with a melted square on a bisected circle with a side of vertical lines and a diet cylinder with transparent cubes. Oh, and I'd like a deep-fried parallelogram for dessert. AWESOME! But hey, now that we've settled all that, this is review number six in my series about Frozen Yogurt. The Fro-Down: So even though this is not really frozen yogurt, and it's not in the San Francisco Bay Area, I feel compelled to review the Elmira Road McDonald's (and Triphammer Road McDonalds) in Ithaca, New York, because they are the genesis, the alpha, the initation, the SEMINAL LOCATION (okay that's gross), of my fro-yophilia. My mother and I agree... there is crack in the cone at mcdonalds. It's that simple. They have a vat of liquid crack cocaine and they pour the vanilla-esque creamish product in there and swirl it until it's cold and then they pipe it onto a cone and watch as the soccer moms and administrative assistants and truck drivers and bricklayers and hairstylists drive through the drive thru with crumbs still on their shirtfronts and blouses from the cone they just got up the road at the OTHER McDonalds and devoured on their way down the hill on route 13, or up the hill, in case they are hitting the Elmira Road McDonalds' first and then the Triphammer one. The worst day of my life, the machine was broken: at both mcDonalds. So I drove to Dryden. I really hope this doesn't demean me in the eyes of you other fro-yo connoisseurs and connoisettes out there... but a person has to start somewhere... and seriously... you know you have a guilty bad-food habit you admit to no one. You love Jif peanut butter, or you drink Postum... or maybe... maybe you like Goobers (either the PB&J mix in the jar OR the chocolate-covered movie theater peanuts it doesn't matter!), or maybe its Potted Meat you love or even... even Vienna Sausages. yeah, so before you start tossing cans of spam or ambrosia salad molds at me just remember... The Fro-Yo at McDonalds in Ithaca has crack in it.
